### "Transform static documents into dynamic, engaging experiences"

August 8, 2023

5.0

I've been using Qwilr to create, track and plan my estimates and proposals.

Pros

I like that Qwilr creates engaging and flexible documents to fit my proposal needs. The program is very user friendly and blends with my brand's vision well.

Cons

It's pricing is a bit expensive for a single-person business. I really appreciate the product but when looking to cost cut, I've been considering other options.

### "Great design tool for proposals"

December 16, 2024

4.0

Overall, Qwilr is a great tool for document design and we've been complimented on the style and feel of our proposals.

Pros

Qwilr has a clean designing feature that makes it easy to update. It has a good, but not great integration with Hubspot. The block style editing is very helpful.

Cons

The document management. I cannot easily close all the links to past deals. Until recently we didn't set an expiration on deals. Occasionally, the navigation is clunky with updating a design.

### "Decent system, easy to use"

December 18, 2025

3.0

It's pretty good. The interface is easy enough to make up for limited onboarding with the package we provided. 30 days onboarding really only means about 3 hours total of training. We did encounter a bit of bait and switch to a few key things Qwilr cannot do, but overall content with our purchase. If you pursue the produce be overly clear with your needs and ask multiple follow-up questions.

Pros

Easy UI to make and send documents like Proposals, Case Studies, and ebooks. Drag and drop, save frequently used blocks, and adjust settings with simple clicks.

Cons

If you are in a Microsoft 365 ecosystem you'll need a third party to do most of your embedding and something like Zapier for your CRM. They are pretty vague with what the system can (and cannot) until you're locked in.

### "Pros and cons of Qwilr "

July 14, 2022

4.0

Overall experience with Qwilr is nice and one who needs perfect quality of electronic signature and documents storage facilities.

Pros

Our business requirements are as such that electronic signature and documents storage should be the priority for us to look for any CRM tool (currently) and in that aspect Qwilr outraged it's competitors.

Cons

Qwilr doesn't have right customised template as their design and templates are not upto the mark (compare to other tools) along with that it is quite expensive for long run.

### "Easiest Proposal Creation Tool On The Market"

August 18, 2020

5.0

We are in the Advertising and video production business. We have always needed a workflow where we can get our proposals or propositions to clients fast so we can get to business. Soon as we started using Qwilr we were able to create templates of our most popular services to be able to use them for future proposals and send them out almost instantly to our prospects to take a look at and get their feedback right away.

Pros

The simplicity of this software is what makes it a "must-have" for agencies or businesses that need to send proposals to clients on a daily or weekly basis. I have tried countless of other software's that claim to be the same but I always end up frustrated with their User Interface that makes it hard to figure out how to change simple objects, texts, or images etc. Qwilr by far has been our best proposal tool for getting those signatures from clients and money in the bank faster!

Cons

At the moment there is not much I would change about Qwilr. As a designer, I would love to have the ability to make custom design changes without much code such as more click and drag design features but that's something I desire for almost every single software I use. At the end of the day this software does what it's meant to do and exceeds at it.

Switched from

[Proposify](https://www.capterra.com/p/133332/Proposify/)

Proposify is a good tool but it's flaws is that it get's a bit overwhelming to figure out how to make certain changes as their layout is not user-friendly. This impairs our ability to be able to send out proposals to clients in a timely manner.

### "Setting Us Apart"

August 18, 2020

4.0

Our overall experience with Qwilr has been wonderful. The ease of use, customizability and professional look has been a huge asset to our company. Being able to set up templates has cut down on man-hours for producing custom proposals for both our corporate and wedding clients. We have moved all of our quoting and contracts to Qwilr and are also using it for digital catalogues. We are always finding new ways to use the system for different aspects of the business. The support team is quick to respond and able to help and assist me with any questions, problems, or needs.

Pros

We like the image based proposals that we are able to provide for our clients. It allows us to provide our clients, wedding/corporate/rentals a modern easy to read proposal. Quotes and contracts for our team are much more automated and there is less man-hours involved and less room for human error.

Cons

The pricing model can be expensive and it's tough to commit to the larger user packages for a small business. This means that the work load isn't able to be spread out between the team as much as we would like. We also wish that there was more flexibility to the quote table.

Alternatives considered

### "Nice Proposal Building Tool"

August 18, 2020

5.0

Pros

It's easy to quickly get a proposal built out and sent. I like the control it provides over acceptance and signature capturing. The splash blocks are really nice, with lots of good photos and videos that we can use as backgrounds. Style controls are also really nice, and ensure that all of our branding is consistent throughout our proposals and NDAs. We also use the quote blocks frequently and like the way those provide pricing information to our clients.

Cons

We typically build our initial estimates inside a spreadsheet like Google Sheets. We'd love if importing into the quote block from a spreadsheet was easier. Right now, to preserve our formatting better, we do a lot of copy and paste, and that's not optimal. It would be nice to have some additional text layout blocks as well, like tiles or multiple columns. Lastly, if we need to go through the legal process with a client, we typically end up having to convert our Qwilr document into a Word document for attorneys to review and mark up. It would be nice if there was an export feature that made this easier. Today we have to do this manually through copy-paste.

### "Proposals, that count"

August 18, 2020

5.0

Qwilr, has allowed us to greatly improve our proposal sending to clients, and better layout the pricing and items they are getting so they better understand it! Best of all they can adjust the items on their side so they can see how it would change the total price

Pros

We choose Qwilr over the other software we had looked at, particularly because of it's calculation tools for the total. It was the only software we found that could add discounts across multiple sections, and properly relate totals together. This allowed us to use it for our more complicated pricing structures for all the adons for our systems.

Cons

Better Export to PDF would be ideal, as we find it sometimes messes with the layouts a little when we try and print them! But as we mostly deal with online sends this very rarely effects us.

### "Qwilr has been a great program to streamline my business operations!"

September 14, 2019

4.0

My overall experience with Qwilr has been amazing. The support team and staff have been super helpful and always happy to help and assist me with any questions, problems, or needs. I love the energy and patience given each and every time. I have overall loved my experience with Qwilr.

Pros

Qwilr has been an amazing software that’s boosted my business proposal presentation and overall operations workflow. I love being able to “wow” clients with my amazing proposals that allow me to really show off my work as a photographer and cinematographer. Qwilr has amazing features that really make proposals something fun, exciting, and easy! I love that Qwilr offers so many integrations with other applications and softwares I use, so my business process is completely streamlined. My favorite feature is that it syncs perfectly with Quickbooks Online

Cons

Qwilr offers so many great features, benefits, and components. My only feedback is the pricing model is a bit on the expensive end, and can be tough to commit to especially for a small business. I also would love if they allowed a bit more customization to fonts, colors, and overall branding within the custom blocks system.

### "Great software for managing formal customer documents"

August 19, 2020

5.0

This is the perfect tool to eradicate the pain of old-school document and contract management.

Pros

I love that Qwilr replaces the need for sending documents to customers, and that legally binding contracts can be managed in a far simpler and more elegant manner.

Cons

Feature development is moving forward at a good rate, but there have been a few things missing in the past (like being able to group things into folders) that are now available. There are a little niceties that need to be added but I'm confident the team is on top of them.

### "Thanks to Qwilr, there is flexibility in contract management"

August 16, 2023

5.0

Qwilr has been used in numerous negotiations and has been convenient and fruitful in terms of creating and discussing contracts. An unusual and potent ally has supported the business, which has facilitated transactions with clients in far-off places. It is highly recommended due to its extensive contract coverage, high quality, and scalability through periodic updates. Both the user interface and support are incredibly easy to use and pleasant to interact with.

Pros

I'm glad to know that I'm putting Qwilr to good use in the business world; it has the potential to set a new standard for engaging business reporting, which makes me happy. Its flexibility and ease of use, its constant updates, and its excellent alignment with contractual objectives speak to its versatility and adaptability. It provides us with a variety of prefabricated formats from which we can generate unique proposals for our company and its offerings. To motivate a request, control is crucial.

Cons

Despite the fact that I am aware of the software's potential and value, I am dissatisfied with its astronomical price.

### "Use Qwilr when you really want to wow your customers"

November 16, 2016

5.0

I have tried a load of different Xero add-ons for creating proposals for customers. Finally I found Qwilr, which allows me to embed my terms and conditions, brand my business appropriately (using the exact colours) and even upload my own branding images to pepper throughout the proposal. Because I do LOADS of video work, I also am able to include video summaries about the service or product my customers are buying directly into the proposal. I also use images to diagram processes or other bits and pieces throughout the proposal. I like the structure of Qwilr, as it allows me to use different formatting for sections and include ALL of the relevant information (I used to direct people back to the website or have to take them away from the proposal to do this before). You could include frequently asked questions or outline your process and inclusions/exclusions very clearly. The quote module still needs work to suit the vast variety of needs business owners have when they are quoting. However I think there are enough workarounds to make it applicable to any business owner providing a service or product.

### "Best way to create live webpage proposals, instead of static PDFs"

December 24, 2019

5.0

I am overall happy with my experience using Quilr. My clients are impressed by how professional and branded the proposals are, and I like having them all saved online - rather than keeping track of endless versions. It's easier to keep multiple stake-holders on the same "page" rather than on the same "file".

Pros

I liked the ability to send/review live proposals online with clients - rather then sending them a PDF. During negotiations, we can make changes to the proposal and update them live. That way all parties have the latest version online - rather than resending and tracking iterations of static docs and versions.

Cons

I find it somewhat difficult to add new sections to templates. For example, if I am using one template but want to add a unique section that I saw from a different template, it takes me a while to recreate it from scratch. Would like the ability to cut/paste from different templates.

Reason for choosing Qwilr

I found Qwilr made adding line items / pricing / quantities easier to worth with.

### "Proposals that close!"

August 25, 2020

5.0

Great experience from the initial outreach with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] to the support received as a client. The webinars are also helpful.

Pros

Ease of use. Being a small firm, it can be difficult to get time with my marketing team for projects. Qwilr was chosen because of the ability for people who don't have the graphic design chops to turn out beautiful landing pages. Price. Significantly less expensive than their competitors which aren't as user friendly.

Cons

### "QWILR! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE??!! :D"

November 15, 2016

5.0

As a visual brand strategist, I have many clients that require a proposal for larger projects and websites that my team and I create for my clients. Creating the proposal, although a creative process I enjoy, was INSANELY frustrating with creating pdf, emailing them and editing them all over again. I'm really thankful to have been introduced to Qwilr based on the webpage capabilities that it offers. And because it's web-based, the integrations of using video and other embeddable capabilities lends itself to a more creative and "DYNAMIK" proposal for us. THAT is GOLD for us! The automations and integrations make the whole platform that much more amazing and time efficient. With a few tweaks to the Quickbooks integration, it will make Qwilr PERFECT for me (and maybe some other quickbooks users as well). NONETHELESS, Qwilr is still a prime choice for my company. Even much so that I've integrated it into the proposal portion of our sales process. Amazing job guys and I can't wait to see how Qwilr will help execute many client proposals for our clients moving forward.

Pros

Love the automation aspect of when prospects have accepted a project. Love the analytics to let us know what parts they have focused on the most. Love the integration possibilities and the dynamic qualities of having a web-based proposal instead of a pdf/paper style of communication via email.

Cons

The only thing that I don't like, at the moment, is the aspect of how Qwilr communicated with Quickbooks with the line items and product/service categories. Currently Qwilr inserts each line item into Qwilr as one default product/service and everyone has their own setup, based on their particular company, in quickbooks. So the one size fits all communication doesn't work in this case. Furthermore, once that data has been setup in the Quickbooks invoice, you cannot change any product/service details without the WHOLE LINE being erased. Even if you wanted to create a grouped service offering, you can't without just creating the invoice manually from scratch to achieve what you need. This then erases the benefit of the integration in the 1st place. So if this can be worked on in more detail for Quickbooks (maybe Xero customers might have this problem as well), that would be SO AMAZING and make my Qwilr experience complete! :D

### "Beautiful, Modern Presentation With Plenty Of Functionality"

August 2, 2019

5.0

I've enjoyed QWILR so much I brought it with me to my new company. It makes for ease and elegance in proposal writing and communicating with prospects.

Pros

I love the look and the feel, but most of all QWILR functions in every way I need. From quickly building from one of my own templates to getting a simple signature for my terms and conditions, QWILR makes proposal building fun and easy.

Cons

The price was a challenge at first. I had to sell the program on colleagues before I could use it myself to minimize the expense. I would like to see a feature wherein documented chat/negotiations could be stored for the back in forth. Perhaps a block that allows for feedback when it's necessary.

### "Qwilr sas Changed how we do Proposals"

October 12, 2015

5.0

We use Qwilr to send out and track our proposals. We started using Qwilr to make great looking proposals, we stayed on for the strong analytics and the ability to build up your own library of standard sections the team can just 'drop in' without having to re-invent the wheel every time. Helix is a Boutique software consultancy firm, as such we have a high bar for the software tools we use. Qwilr meets this expectation and then some. Fanatical support and perfect execution. It's about time we had slick documents made for the web. I can't recommend Qwilr enough. Great work guys.

### "Easy for Everyone"

July 23, 2019

Qwilr is by far the best system we've used for estimates. It's live-flexibility allows quick changes that have resulted in quicker response times. It's template and cloning features have also saved lots of time in development. We're getting estimates out in 24 hours versus a week.

Pros

I really appreciate that Qwilr has a built-in approval and payment system. I've eliminated two other systems with the addition of Qwilr, and saved our small studio thousands of dollars. I also appreciate the ability to track estimate views. It really helps with client management.

Cons

The greatest challenge we continue to have is formatting. There are limitations to the actual estimate portion, and we've had to create separate sections for timelines, which can be redundant and inconvenient.
