I think it makes an otherwise clunky process very smooth. I love having the result of a polished, professional webpage to help sell our company. Pros Qwilr allows you to create web page layouts that are easy to use, edit, and create templates from. We use this to create interesting and compelling proposals and case studies of our work when prospecting new clients. You can include cost quotes and other items to help make this a full proposal. The builder is fairly user-friendly and simple to understand. You can also collaborate on it, making it easy to hand off to others. Cons It can be a little difficult when arranging things within a section. For instance, if you are trying to make two images the same size, you have to eyeball it because there are no smart guides or anything like that. It's helped me close many deals, and made payment for my clients easy and painless. I would recommend qwilr to any freelancer, design company, and anyone looking to win over high paying clients. Cons I wish the monthly cost was a little lower, but it is well worth it. This means that you aren't constrained by the size of a page, and you can easily make edits even after sending a proposal to a client if the discussions cause it to change, or you just forgot to fix a typo. Cons Image resizing is limited, which sometimes means you can't quite get an image as large as you would like it. I would love to see more customization options for those that don't know HMTL and CSS also, as I sometimes need to resort to that to get exactly what I need. Review Source DA Dogan A. Cons I would like to have more flexibility with changing fonts, and more options for the quoting feature. Pros Qwilr adds prestige to our company because clients are not expecting to receive a proposal quite so advanced, and downright beautiful. Cons Working the platform can be complicated. Search, edits and needing to unpublish then search in archive for your projects to duplicate takes far too much work. I think the platform can be made much more user friendly with a "less is more" approach. Cons Translation from web based doc to PDF is not strong, line items scheduler is lacking, font features could use a little tightening up, more table-based calculations would be helpful. Ability to add proposal options. when I try to create 2 payment option , it adds up both in a single total. Biggest problem is dashboard. Maybe integrate some form of organizational structure with folders for better separation of documents. Also, make it easier to see when things were initially created vs. when they last edited. Pros The customer support has been beyond spectacular. They are fair, flexible, and responsive--which is more than you can say for a lot of companies out there. I also truly appreciate that proposals can double as contracts, as they have e-sign functionality, audit trails, and clients can pay a deposit straight from the proposal. It has significantly cut down on the time it takes me to close most deals. Cons While it's nice that you can process deposit payments, Qwilr's payment processing fees are fairly steep, which makes it not worth it to charge a deposit directly from the invoice. Fairly straightforward to use. Staff very responsive on livechat and follow up on issues. Cons Integrations with hubspot and zapier have been difficult as the data pushed through is messy (in a nested array?) so heaps of steps needed in API/zapier to split out the data which has been very time consuming. Qwilr comes with all the bells and whistles needed, without making it complicated - it's really easy to use and I look forward to creating proposals now! There're templates provided, and you can create your own, but one of my favourite features is the ability to save certain sections of a quote to reuse elsewhere. This works perfectly for our business, as none of our quotes are the same, so this saves us a lot of time and reduces the risk of human error. Fantastic product - highly recommended. Pros Support is fast, friendly and efficient. It's flexible without being complicated. We really love the software. Pros I like that I'm able to save the templates and reuse them for other proposals. I also like the video part of the header. Cons The version control is a little strange. The way it ads a new version is a bit confusing. If it was going to do that I would like to be able to say at V1 or V2 at the end of the naming. The pages it turns out look great -- and they're not hard to figure out how to make. Cons It seems like it's on a slow trajectory towards becoming more customizable and flexible, but there have been places where I've thought, Why can't I edit text here to look exactly how I want it to look? or Wouldn't it be better if I could just click and drag to get something put just where I want it? This program is a game-changer for our company. I highly recommend to anyone who is considering this program. Pros I love how professional these pages look and all the features you can add into one page. It was very simple and easy to create each page and then work with HubSpot as well. Our sales team picked up how to use the program with only a half-hour of training. Cons It was a little confusing when setting it up with hubspot on how you cannot CLONE one template because then it will not show up in hubspot. Also I wish it could pull the information "contact owner's email address" from hubspot into the pages. For a brief interlude we tried using Google Docs, Sheets, Pages, etc. and a lot of their products - but nothing was rolled into one. Now we have: 1. A way of presenting an image of a company that is professional 2. A way of tracking our leads through opening of documents 3. A way of having life in documents, making it so that they're able to be changed without fear of constant version control, brand control and making sure everyone has the latest version - they just have to have the link and they DO have the latest version. Clean up your external marketing and document distribution, cut down the chatter and excessive PowerPoint internally, do yourself a favour and get Qwilr.
