November 15, 2016 5.0 We used to have a bunch of documents to cut and paste from for proposals. Qwilr gave us a central repository where we could keep each of the sections we need and assemble proposals quickly. In addition to improving the workflow the ability to track views of the proposal and have clients accept them to close deals are also great features. Pros Ease of use, templates, and my clients love the presentation of our proposals. Cons Export to pdf is still clumsy. I did experience some significant bugs in the last major feature rollout which did affect two client proposals and their deadlines. Used the software for: ### "Qwilr streamlines my business" November 15, 2016 5.0 I've been using Qwilr for nearly a year, and it has helped streamline my design business immensely. Its templated system makes creating proposals a breeze, and I love that I can reuse blocks of content from previous proposals. A great feature is that each proposal is set up like its own little microsite, so anytime I need to make edits to a proposal for a client, the link simply updates and I don't have to resend several versions of a PDF to the client. As soon as the client clicks "Accept", the contract is effectively signed, and we can both download PDF versions of the proposal, estimate, project scope, and contract. It also helps my small business look much more established, which has been instrumental in helping me land bigger projects. It's a win for everyone! This is a huge plus with our previous Zoho Quotes solution which was horrible. The support is awesome, very personalized and fast. I look forward to exploring the possibilities offered by their API. Pros Qwilr has a superb UI/UX. You can build quotes fast. It is simple, with a less is more approach to design. The result is a beautiful quote, easy to read and with many features like auto approve, pricing tables, images. Cons I'd love to add more features like more control on font sizes in some sections. Pros Qwilr is quick and ready to use almost immediately when I'm in a pinch and don't have enough time to design an entire document myself. It gets the job done and well enough that I feel confident putting it forward. Cons Some of the templates on Qwilr look a little generic and I'm left feeling like I'm using a Google Docs template instead. They're always adding more, but stepping up certainly wouldn't hurt. Pros I love the integration with HubSpot, and I love how easy it is to create professional looking digital proposals. Cons I think the weakest part of the platform is the image library (for the images you upload.) It's incredibly easy to use, and so far I've had 100% acceptance rate on my proposals, all without having to spend any time at all following up with clients. Pros Qwilr is super easy to use and make a proposal look super beautiful and sleek. Almost every single proposal I sent got a comment from the client I sent it to. It's very easy to send out with the link and is fast to set up. I also love the fact that we are saving paper. Cons It's a bit difficult to make an actual invoice which I would prefer a better system for but in the same layout as the proposals that I send out. The price is a lot higher than similar products, however, I prefer Qwilr's layout as it looks better! Used the software for: ### "My experience using Qwlir " November 30, 2016 5.0 I run an SEO/digital marketing agency where I need to constantly create proposals on multiple aspects of my business. Although my company, Digiswell Marketing, is relatively new and I do not have the client history of other big agencies the cleanness and advanced technological aspects of Qwlir proposals make my business seem like I have been running for many years due to the professional feel the Qwlir proposals bring. I especially like the accept quote feature and the integrations that Qwlir has access to. After I started to use Qwlir to create proposals I have been able to obtain more clients partly because they are so impressed with how the proposals look and feel. The only problem is the pricing aspect of the Qwlir service. Although the price is not ridiculously high for a new business like me, the least expensive plan, the pro plan, is still high. Especially for a starting business like the one I started, I am trying to make my expenses as "lean" as possible and it is difficult when I have to pay per month. " July 24, 2019 5.0 Overall I recommend Qwilr as a great way to send proposals. Pros The most useful feature for me about Qwilr is being able to send a proposal to a client and collect payments right away from them. Being able to include various forms of documents is really helpful as well. Using this has definitely made my client onboarding process easier. Cons The biggest drawback is the pricing structure. Clearly, this is set up for bigger companies, not 1 person businesses. So there are some features that are only available on more expensive plans (such as collecting signatures) that would be great to have access to but the cost is prohibitive. Reason for choosing Qwilr I chose Qwilr over some of the alternative products I was looking at because of the ability to customize proposals and invoices. Pros The best thing about Qwilr is that is saves us a lot of time when it comes to creating documents both for internal use but also to send to clients. Be it accounting related, proposals or simply invoices - the documents are impressively beautiful. Cons Once you get the hang of it, Qwilr is easy and fun to use. I highly recommend trying this product out. You can download the project so that it can be accessed after the free trial if you decide not to purchase. Cons The trial period is too short. Pros Qwilr has the most visually stunning features compared to any proposal software I've seen on the market. Its flexibility allows me to match it to our brand, and customize each proposal to our specific clients and prospects. The embed option super-charges my proposals with inserted google docs, and airtables, which always garner rave reviews from clients. Cons It is at times a little buggy (but no more so than any other proposal software I've used), and I would like to see a bit more flexibility with differing fonts and formats within a specific block. There are a few pieces that could use improvement but overall it's been a great resource for us. Pros Auto-save is nice and I'm glad that it respects multiple editors by block access. Cloning is extremely helpful. Cons I wish I could add a rate on the fly that doesn't need to be saved. Using the block styles is not super intuitive. Sometimes there are bugs with images showing over each other in edit mode then being fine when published. With rates, sometimes the unit says "hour" and sometimes "hours" and I'm not sure how to fix that. It doesn't seem to be tied to the actual number. Review Source EO Eri O. Great design templates for most industries and they can be customised to save time designing from scratch. We have received positive comments from clients on the design and easy of use. Our clients have also appreciated the clarity and ease of use to review and accept their quote. The other thing I love about this platform is how quickly you can style your documents. Adding a background splash image gives each proposal a personal touch, making our clients feel as special as they are! Once a proposal has been accepted we actually continue all of our project documentation in the same project. This keeps all important information in one place, and easily accessible online! Before using this, you might create proposals offline in a free software, but they weren't beautiful. Every proposal made with Qwilr will help you effectively communicate why someone should by your product or service. It also makes it super easy for them to sign it electronically. No more printing, signing, scanning. This makes selling easy. Cons You are not able to easily change the designs. They give you pre-made templates.
