Pros The quality of the final proposals is superb. The user interface is acceptable. There is a "wow" factor in the final product. Cons Pricing is too expensive for a small business. I have sent project suggestion to our decision maker with a perfectly created document by Qwilr, he was very much impressed and approved all my suggestions quickly. We only need to have the contents ready and everything else will be takes care by Qwilr. Cons Nothing as of now as I am still experimenting all the features and it seems there are no cons so far. They look really professional and I think is a good way to start a relationship with a potential customer. Cons Sometimes the customization available to make on documents is tight to the software possibilities and there is no much possibility to make custom designs. It took around 12 hours to have really polished proposals (about 1 hour to have first draft) out the door with customers. It's allowing us to have a consistent 'feel' from website to meeting to proposal. Cons Wish there was a little bit more flexibility to have a 'block' that can have 3 columns of content, rather than just one. Payment processing is expesive" May 28, 2018 5.0 Pros I love how easy it is to setup and make proposals. It allows you to create clean proposals to send out and duplicate when needed. Cons I wanted my clients to pay using the software but it was super expensive to go through their processing system. I ended up just creating a link for PayPal that made clients jump to an external page to get it to work but then you are not really using all the capabilities of the software. Review Source Steve B. I created my first proposal in a demo QWILR account, tested, then bought the yearly fee and created 3 proposals in a month. One converted into a client and it paid for itself 100x over. I'll never open up Word, InDesign or Pages again for proposals AND have awesome templated pieces for future proposals. We trialed over 10 other similar pieces of software but the ability to have quote pricing sections which very important to us and Qwilr fitted the bill perfectly. Their support team were very helpful and even listened to our ideas on what would improve the software for us. The price options are reasonable too, with a level for everyone and even the most basic offering solid features. Cons Not much. We'd like to see a few further improvements in the quoting area and some more industry specific images, but these are quite niche requirements for us and for a general user these wouldn't be roadblocks. This app is great for hitting singles, and occasional doubles, but it's missing some items that'll make it a consistent base-turning giant. The support has been phenomenal, and I am crossing my fingers they continue to invest into their app because it quite literally could be the future leader of all quoting software in the budget/minimal investment price range. Fantastic future for these boys! Pros Functionality is great, layouts are awesome, variety is excellent, simplicity is better than complexity, at least in the bid world, and Qwilr nails it in these areas. Cons Missing some key flexible features surrounding the line items/pricing tables, font and text navigations, and the trial world shouldn't have to be so stingy...just ask Trello. It does fall short on bug occurrences and other issues popping up pretty often. The price does seem a bit high because of the issues we have seen. However there aren't really any other viable solutions in my opinion. As a digital agency we want the software we use to represent our brand and our standards. We found that Qwilr really nailed that aspect. Through customized branding and an impressive design layout we are able to create really impressive looking proposals for our clients. This makes it easy for clients to digest and educate themselves on what exactly we are offering them. Other software just seemed to fall short with design and customization. Qwilr is also extremely easy to use. We are able to create a customized proposal layout with a really great looking design in minutes. It's the main reason we continue to use the product today. I think if I had to choose our favorite feature, it would be the ability to add an optional item to the pricing section. This allows us to give our clients options that may or may not break their budget. Again there are still bugs in the software but nothing to keep us from using the product to help us close our deals and end up with happy, well informed clients! The service meets a deep need we had and were considering building ourselves to save time creating sets of PDFs for client proposals. We love being able to deliver interactive proposals to our clients. The feature set and advancement of the service have been less than impressive after our initial sign up. I would have expected a younger company to accelerate faster than Qwilr has and enhance the product to be more user friendly, offer more flexibility, and enhance tracking. The product does a good job, especially for the value, but there are many areas it could improve. Pros Ability to quickly create interactive proposal for our clients based on templates and common needs. Reporting is limited but useful. Cons PDF export isn't high enough quality to actually use (instead we make a PDF manually upon request, which is rare) and the app could be more flexible for non-developers, but I understand the options are available for customization devs just aren't often in that area of the business to make those edits. Not one question has come my way which saves me so much time. November 18, 2016 3.0 Hi guys - I'm a fan, but I have to do a significant number of work-arounds, and I think you can see all of my comments/ requests from my calalogue of emails to your team. I wish more of those had resolved with 'we fixed it! You're good to go!" - as is, I have to spend an additional few hours before I send a document coming out of your system fixing glitches, importing our own .pdf designed pages, etc. that makes it a little less turnkey than I wish, and sadly negates the value of the online version a bit. Too much to type in here, but happy to set up a meeting and go through it all again any time. I will say that if I were to get hit by a truck and not be here - the next guy, or certainly my boss, might not bother. Pros Fast, easy to use, good for cranking 'em out. Even sales people can be trained to use it, despite being time crunched. This has made it a decent solution to create simple web-based proposal site to summarize and deliver sales proposals. Cons I often find myself wishing there was a bit more granularity in the controls, and sometimes the controls can be touchy. Also, wish there was an option for custom domains in the Business plan. Used the software for: ### "Wonderful product" June 26, 2015 5.0 Qwilr is a really good proposal building tool. In 2015 this is what all documents should look like - but they don't. As a digital agency Qwilr allows our proposals to stand out and look like a cutting-edge digital agency. That is much better than using PDFs or power points. The ability to clone proposals is really cool (write once, use many) and we can also have it at our own URL (looks professional). Its easy to use and the end out come is great.
