Payroll Relief automates the part that creates the liability. Direct deposit, tax payments, tax form e-filing. and child support remittance are transmitted for you, so your firm does not have to become a Reporting Agent or Power of Attorney (POA), and IRS and state notices do not land on your desk. For me it works and is a better option than QuickBooks online as an accounting professional. Pros I love the Financial reporting and the fact that they do not compete for my business. Can also consolidate companies and e-mail reports with the click of your mouse.Online Access and other features from Accountant's World Like Payroll Relief Cons \-Search feature is worthless. You can't search by memo or description and it limits at 25 lines. You can however drill down on certain fields, which is your best alternative. -No backup feature, so if your information gets corrupted in any manner, you have to manually fix it, or start over. Pros It is a completely different tool from traditional accounting software, it is created to be able to carry out better productivity and advanced control over the different accounting contracts of your clients, it has provided us with functions for the management of unique accounting and is created exclusively for professional accountants looking to create balance sheets, be able to carry out inventory costs and all financial statements for their clients. Cons There are no features that I dislike, I find it excellent that it helps to create completely personalized financial statements, increasing productivity and getting work done quickly and with better accuracy. Stay away if you can. Their payroll solution works like a charm, but I would stay away from their accounting suite. Lots of glitches and very limited in use. We would spend more time fixing issues caused by the program then we would doing write up work. Pros We decided to make the switch to the cloud. We didn't like the "Per Company" pricing model that most companies had and thought we would try out this product. Cons We encountered various backend issues that the support team had no response. Transactions would duplicate on their own, transactions wouldn't have offset accounts. We even had one case where one year worth of data for a client was completely erased. Support had no idea what the problem was and wouldn't even bother investigating why this was happening. Bank rules are very limited. Reporting is limited. You are not able to generate a simple profit and loss for a specific date range, only period to period. It's pretty efficient to work in. Cons It lacks some flexibility needed for many use cases. For example, it has few options for accounting period setup, meaning that for some verticals (restaurant industry) it just isn't an option. Its on eft just incase you forget it is already filed automatically. Pros This software is easy to use. I love being able to e-file all quarterly filings on top of eft all payments for numerous states. Cons I haven't experienced anything yet since they have updated it a lot since the start.
