We've been using Hapana at C3 Training for over a year now, and it's been a total game-changer for our gym operations and member experience. From day one, the support team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us grow. The platform is incredibly intuitive—for both staff and members. Class scheduling, check-ins, billing, marketing, and reporting are all streamlined in one place, saving us countless hours each week. A complete disaster. If we didn't have to use if for the franchise then we would have ditched it yesterday. From massive billing issues to them not even able to get their own contracts with us correct it has been nothing but a nightmare and the "support" is a joke. We raise an issue and the reply we get doesn't fix or address anything and the buck is passed between them and our franchisor.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. It has been nothing but trouble and a waste of money since day 1

Cons

From migration to implementation it has been a farce. The system itself has absolutely no intuitiveness to it and creates so much extra work. The systems inside of the hapana framework don't talk to each other meaning if you want to find member information you are forced to jump between 2 systems to find the most basic of information. Price is excessive and includes no sms, email or even push notifications so you pay a premium and then pay for everything on top. The app is garbage, it is slow and has had nothing but issues from day one.

Pros

I loved having a dedicated account manager \[sensitive content hidden\], she was truly the only reason I continued with Hapana from the get go. She was prompt, respectful and always punctual for all our meetings, my requests and actioned tasks accordingly within appropriate timeframes. Sadly my circumstances changed and therefore the need for Hapana is no more, however If you're based in Victoria and happen to have \[sensitive content hidden\] for your account manager, you're in good hands!

Cons

I did not enjoy the generic support team, responses are slow and when you do get a response it's not what you want. Again this is where \[sensitive content hidden\] stepped in and resolved all of my issues/problems promptly and swiftly when no one else could

I only wish they hosted/supported my website. But, they did offer a funnel system that connected to my website which was great for processing leads.

There have been a few unplanned outages recently. Would love to see some new features as well.

Very easy to use. Customer service is next level. I would receive a response from support almost immediately whenever I needed!!

Pros

Easy to use, many great features like reports and scheduling that made booking classes and members easy. Simple and minimalist design.

Cons

Wish we could pull monthly attendance trends to see if members are attending fewer classes month to month so we can catch them before they've fallen off the wagon. I also found many reports were inaccurate.

It's overall been excellent. Almost 3 years underway with our partnership with Hapana and it's been quite a tricky road to learn the system needless to say, given both our business and Hapana themselves are always adapting to the current market demands. But having the dedicated/allocated account manager, \[sensitive content hidden\] recently assigned to us, it's made my 'getting up to speed' way way faster, allowing the business as a whole, tighten areas of Hapana that I don't believe we were utilising to the fullest, but now we are. Thanks again \[sensitive content hidden\]! Your wealth of knowledge has been wonderful! You really know you stuff, it's impressive how quick you can get me an answer - not just any answer, but an answer that is a solution.

Pros

My account manager \[sensitive content hidden\] has been absolutely amazing. Couldn't praise her enough. I'm not tech savvy, so this platform has been quite a challenge for me, but \[sensitive content hidden\] has been able to address every one of my questions and been able to provide a timely answer or workaround. The platform itself doesn't seem as complicated to navigate once I learned what I'm doing, but I'd have been very stuck if it weren't for \[sensitive content hidden\] -so well done.

Cons

Without a dedicated accounts manager, like mine - \[sensitive content hidden\] - raising service tickets can be quite lengthy. Whilst all the team work tirelessly to address all the questions directed at them, raising service tickets loses the more personalised aspect, as tickets generally get addressed by another staff, different to the one you might have previously used/received a response for - more often than not, I'm needing to explain my situation over again so they understand what it is that i'm asking, as our company is a little unique to the mainstream client accounts.

Migration to Hapana was mostly seamless - any small hiccups (which are expected) were quickly addressed. The best transition we have made! Ample support, an amazing app for clients, great backend. I've used multiple platforms for running our business (MindBody & Zingfit) and Hapana is by far the best overall.

Pros

Ease of use from a backend and front end. Amazing support from the team (in particular \[sensitive content hidden\] !) Also like to see the platform evolving and releasing new features!

Cons

Small con! Scheduling classes is timely (need to have an option to repeat for up to 7 days in order for the repeat option to be effective).

I've dealt with \[sensitive content hidden\] for my whole time with Hapana, and I can happily say that he has made the experience very enjoyable and helped us with all questions or concerns.

Pros

The functionality to be able to create your own packages and memberships. Gives us the control to grow our businesses effectively.

Cons

The reporting can be hard to find and very time consuming. A accurate dashboard would make this incredible.

In one word: easy! Love our app, love Micky & the team at Hapana. 5 stars!

Pros

The support staff have helped me through any question I’ve ever had in a timely manner. My rep has been supportive during any studio transition we have had and helped develop a personalized app for my studio. The reports are functional and provide all the data I’ve ever needed or wanted to find. Booking has always been a breeze for clients!

Cons

The price point is a bit higher than I would love but you get what you pay for!

Reason for choosing Hapana

Ease of use on my end as well as customer booking compared to MINDBODY; report functionality compared to GloFox.
