After a bit of experience with the software I have become more at ease. The Rotary Club I am part of is very small so many features are not being utilized. From a personal point of view I have gained confidence in myself regarding the software and computer use in general. I have liked the look of our website and have actually received compliments from fellow Rotarians and in particular some of my Honorary Members. They find it easy to read.

Pros

save a lot if time to create a web pages for the club website. Good templates and tools to announce club events Great for update of membership list and possible use for keeping track of attendance and participation.

Cons

Take a bit of time to learn, but improved over the last two year. In the beginning, the design makes every club page the same.

Our club has been using clubrunner for a few years, over this time we have seen continuous improvement and the addition of many new features. It's great for managing bulletins and sending targeted emails, the ability to see who has opened messages simplifies the follow-up process. Our website (rotaryahuririsunrise.club) runs smoothly and the new clubrunner app is great for keeping in contact with fellow members and the latest stories.

The system serves as a website and a method to manage the Club's business. There is a learning curve but once you become familiar with the system it provides an easy method to manage volunteers, collect dues and the important task of communicating with Club members. There are numerous easily accessed reports that provide a treasure trove of information. The support team is very helpful as are the educational articles and videos.

I am still relatively new to ClubRunner, but have found that once the basics are understood it is a strong and easy-to-use program. We recently had an outstanding customer support experience, with ClubRunner technical support staff taking the time to help us work out a technical issue and providing very fast and courteous service in the process. It was refreshing to get that kind of personalized service and attention to detail.

As an incoming president, I'm just learning all Club Runner has to offer. What I know: there is a lot. What I also know: there is a lot that our older members don't see as valuable, so they don't want to purchase the additional modules. With those modules, our club could have amazing communication outcomes. Please, please Club Runner - make them all part of the base package!

Cons

Can be very detailed once you get into the admin portion and start to make changes. You can do a lot but it gets a little overwhelming

Club Runner gives structure to help organize our club calendar, events, speakers, membership rosters and email notifications. We do not use and have not tried to master every function but those we are using work well. Like all software, it takes some time to learn but I believe the investment pays off.

I've been using this program for 6 years, during which time the member attendance feature has been significantly improved. I cannot imagine trying to keep membership details and attendance without ClubRunner, and I really like the fact that it interacts with the database on the Rotary International site.

Club Administration could not be made any easier - member database, club communications, meeting attendance and event registration are all easily managed and are accessible via the www. Their customer service is EXCELLENT!

Pros

captures all member data and synch's with Rotary International. Good for Club Bulletin and mass emails

Cons

Dues and Billing module doesn't meet what we want from the application but this is being addressed

CR has many features aiding club management. Response time to key/mouse strokes is slow at times. Response time to tickets, asking for help, needs significant improvement......soon!!!! Training videos for technology challenged and seniors might be helpful.

I have been very impressed with the features provided in the Rotary template website. Like any fully featured software system it takes some effort to learn how to utilise it fully but its very easy to do the basics and get started. Its a vast improvement on our previous two attempts at setting up a website.

Have not yet mastered the ability to do newsletters through it.

Whether you send a ticket or call 1 of the Clubrunner staff the response is always helpful. Met clubrunner staff at Rotary Pets conference. Staff was helpful in explaining benefits and how it could help our club.
