Great experience, love the new innovative solutions.

Pros

The two way texting feature between client and our vet hospital's fixed land line phone. The software translates into a chat app. Starting to integrate this with telemedicine where clients can text pet pictures with questions. It is also a great appointment reminder tool. Clients can easily view their pet's medical records on VitusVet app, and share them with others caretakers and third parties such as goomers or other veterinarians.

Cons

The medical records are available for viewing too soon. Not flexible appointment request options. Does not fully integrate with AVImark like Rapport.

Pretty good! We've used for a year + and it's worked out well for our team.

Pros

Customer service is responsive and helpful.

Cons

I haven't revisited all it's functions since setting it up and I'm sure we could benefit from using more of them. We just use texting.

Another major advantage is the client-facing experience. The app allows pet owners to access their pet’s records, request appointments, and communicate with the hospital in a convenient, modern way. Overall I was pleased with vitusvet.

Pros

I like VitusVet because it significantly improves client communication and compliance in a way that feels seamless for both the hospital and pet owners. The platform makes it easy to send reminders for vaccines, appointments, and medications, which helps reduce missed visits and improves overall patient care. From an operational standpoint, it supports efficiency by automating routine communication tasks that would otherwise take up valuable CSR time.

Integration with PIMS (like Ezyvet) can sometimes be inconsistent or require troubleshooting Limited customization for messaging and workflows Clients don’t always fully adopt or consistently use the app

I have always had excellent support from Vitus Vet in the event that I have ever needed help. They are very on top of it and have easy to follow instructions for changes that need to be made.

Pros

I love the two way text option. This is a great tool to help us communicate with our clients. We've always had great success with our Request An Appointment feature as well.

Cons

The campaigns are a bit difficult to use/create. I think there could be better ways to help this be a smoother, more user friendly process

Pros

VitusVet has allowed a more streamline communication between us and our clients especially during times of uncertainty like the recent hurricanes. We could not be happier with their service.

Cons

We wish that they will update the feature to move messages from the 'Done' category to the 'Inbox' category when new messages come in. A note has been sent to their support team to see if it can be included in a future update.

Love it! The system is super user friendly, vitus pay is awesome love the daily total and text to pay!

Pros

Love payment processing, the refill request and the vitus vet connect!

Cons

Just wish the vitus connect had a little bit better notifications esp on the phone app

We are happy with the app, only factors that I find frustrating are listed in cons section

Pros

The texting feature is very helpful- I also appreciate the appointment reminders / confirmation

Cons

I didn't realize how great VitusVet was until we switched to a different platform & were very disappointed. Needless to say, we switched back!!

Pros

Simple! Exactly what we need but not a bunch of unnecessary (confusing) bells & whistles. Love that there's an app!

Cons

Nothing! Every time I've needed help I've received it!

I have been really happy overall using VitusVet and the people are always really friendly and helpful.

Pros

They are great to work with and they are quick in getting back to you. I also love the ease of using Vitus vet.

Cons

I cannot say that I have anything negative to say about VitusVet , except maybe sometimes there are issues with our reminders, but it usually gets taken care of right away.

Vitus vet support has always been prompt and kind. The company always takes what we have to say into consideration and is always making improvements where necessary.

Pros

Ease of client communication and how it copies directly to the patient record.

Cons

Creating email and text campaigns is very clunky and the save/draft process makes it take longer than it should. I would like to see this improve.

It's been great! A huge help to our front desk personnel...wish we had it during the height of COVID when clients were not allowed in the building. We also have our credit card processing included in the package, which is competitive and allowed us to upgrade our credit card machines.

Pros

VitusVet takes care of all types of reminders for us, including daily confirmation/reminders of appointments. Clients are able to request appointments through VitusVet. It also reaches to our clients for refills on medications. If clients want to access their pet records, they can do so through the VitusVet app, which is great!

Cons

It asks clients about ALL medications, even ones that should not be refilled.

I am truly happy that we found a service that 1. can confirm our scheduled appointments and 2. can allow our staff to easily text clients updates and picture regarding their pets.

Pros

One of the most utilized features is the vitusvet connect feature. This is truly a godsend to us because it allows our staff to communicate with clients throughout the day. Our staff is able to send patient updates to pet parents during their appointments/procedures sometime even pictures. Its a great tool that keeps the flow of communication going.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike. I have not had the opportunity or the need to explore the other available options provide by Vitus Vet. Perhaps in the future I will have a reason to explore these additional options.

I am an original user of the system and have about 600 clients using the system.

Pros

The ease of use, client satisfaction, reminder system and response rate and the new 2 way texting that integrates into the communication section of the client record.

Cons

At this time I do not find any cons with the system. the company responds to my requests and questions fast and has resolved problems quickly.

Reason for choosing VitusVet

The original pricing program fit my budget. As the company has had to change protocol and pricing they have been fair to me and explained each growth step asking for my input and thoughts on the changes. The company reps check on me and make me feel that my input is meaningful to the even though I am a one veterinarian house call practice.

Overall was fine. Honestly not impressed towards the end. We switched services since being told that our bill was going up like $200 and I had 6 hours to call back and decide if I wanted to renew before they shut us out of the program. Therefore, we switched programs

Ease of use was fine. Lay out was alright to find everything.

Cons

Needed updating. Very old looking compared to other software programs
