Pros
Overall, we are very happy with Vitus Vet. The software is so much more robust than what we use it for, but the features we use are great.
The texting feature is what I liked the most about this software. I love how easy it is to use and you can copy the messages and import or paste them into patient files.
This is great for appointment confirmations and reminders. It helps with compliance.
I find it fairly easy to use and our clients who use it, like it. The customer service team is very friendly and eager to help - which says a lot about a company.
Cons
We are finding a high volume of communications going to spam that wasn't happening from our email. Medication can't be under $1.
Technical glitches are the most frustrating parts of VitusVet.
There is no way to to send a mass text to clients. The appointment requests do not correspond with what appointments slots are taken.
I am sad that Vitusvet dropped the upload of x-ray images for the clients to view on their phone.

"Great app for all pet owners"
Overall: Great experience, love the new innovative solutions.
Pros: The two way texting feature between client and our vet hospital's fixed land line phone. The software translates into a chat app. Starting to integrate this with telemedicine where clients can text pet pictures with questions. It is also a great appointment reminder tool. Clients can easily view their pet's medical records on VitusVet app, and share them with others caretakers and third parties such as goomers or other veterinarians.
Cons: The medical records are available for viewing too soon. Not flexible appointment request options. Does not fully integrate with AVImark like Rapport.
"Love all of that Vitus Vet has to offer!"
Overall: Love it! The system is super user friendly, vitus pay is awesome love the daily total and text to pay!
Pros: Love payment processing, the refill request and the vitus vet connect!
Cons: Just wish the vitus connect had a little bit better notifications esp on the phone app

Overall: I have always had excellent support from Vitus Vet in the event that I have ever needed help. They are very on top of it and have easy to follow instructions for changes that need to be made.
Pros: I love the two way text option. This is a great tool to help us communicate with our clients. We've always had great success with our Request An Appointment feature as well.
Cons: The campaigns are a bit difficult to use/create. I think there could be better ways to help this be a smoother, more user friendly process

Overall: VitusVet is great but it has been surpassed by its' competitors. Would be best for a small practice. We love it and have used it for years but will likely be switching to a more intuitive program in the near future.
Pros: Simple format, easy to learn and use. Very straightforward. Customer service is quick and very helpful.
Cons: The appointment requests. They never line up with actual appt slots and there is no customization that will allow for that.

Pros: VitusVet has allowed a more streamline communication between us and our clients especially during times of uncertainty like the recent hurricanes. We could not be happier with their service.
Cons: We wish that they will update the feature to move messages from the 'Done' category to the 'Inbox' category when new messages come in. A note has been sent to their support team to see if it can be included in a future update.

Overall: They are exceptionally helpful, get you up and running quickly, and I see the results. Their solutions are so helpful and fill needs within every practice.
Pros: Every time I have implemented VitusVet at a practice (over 20 and counting) I have seen an almost immediate increase in appointment requests and prescription requests. It is so easy to implement and they help you every step of the way. The other features such as two-way texting, text to pay, and door dash prescriptions are helpful in every practice.
Cons: I have no complaints. All of their solutions are so helpful!

Pros: We switched to Vitusvet for the prescription ordering module and love it. I also like that appointments are by request and not actually made by the client. The payment portal is excellent too. Customer service is great. Overall, very happy.
Cons: The email blasts and communications come from support, not our website. We are finding a high volume of communications going to spam that wasn't happening from our email. Medication can't be under $1. That does get complicated when dispensing medication under $ per pill.

Overall: VitusVet's customer support is top-notch. They respond incredibly quickly and I like that I usually get the same one or two people.
Pros: The ability to take payments over text and email is really helpful. VitusVet is also the only platform that allows the ability to share medical records (not just vaccine hx) with clients -- this sets them apart from other options and clients absolutely love this feature.
Cons: Integration into PIMS for payments wasn't available before, but now it is!

Pros: Vitus Vet is a wonderful tool for our practice. Not only does it help our clients easily schedule appointments but it also helps them manage, request, refill, and pay for their pets medications. Their support staff...unmatched. I have never had to wait longer than an hour to hear back from a member of the support staff and they always help us resolve any issues we may have.
Cons: I have no issues with Vitus Vet and would likely recommend it to anyone who asks about it.
