We love Vitus Vet! We use it for client text communication, reminders, confirmations, client surveys - which lead to reviews, and an app for clients to check their reminders.

Pros

Ease of use, can log in to from any computer in clinic or not, does everything we need!

Cons

Difficulty in changing our confirmation text messages.

Great experience! Keep expanding your integration options. Another wonderful option would be to send fillable PDF forms that can be saved in the patient record.

Pros

Having the ability for text communication with owners.

Cons

Having to manually add communications to patient files vs having an option to automatically integrate it with the possibility of choosing what not to add to the patient record individually.

VetShipRx is such a unique product to be able to offer to clients, it's really helped to maintain an in-house pharmacy. The support team is the best - very responsive & quick to implement suggestions.

Cons

Pros

Vitus Vet is a wonderful tool for our practice. Not only does it help our clients easily schedule appointments but it also helps them manage, request, refill, and pay for their pets medications. Their support staff...unmatched. I have never had to wait longer than an hour to hear back from a member of the support staff and they always help us resolve any issues we may have.

Cons

I have no issues with Vitus Vet and would likely recommend it to anyone who asks about it.

They are exceptionally helpful, get you up and running quickly, and I see the results. Their solutions are so helpful and fill needs within every practice.

Pros

Every time I have implemented VitusVet at a practice (over 20 and counting) I have seen an almost immediate increase in appointment requests and prescription requests. It is so easy to implement and they help you every step of the way. The other features such as two-way texting, text to pay, and door dash prescriptions are helpful in every practice.

Cons

I have no complaints. All of their solutions are so helpful!

Pros

VitusVet has allowed a more streamline communication between us and our clients especially during times of uncertainty like the recent hurricanes. We could not be happier with their service.

Cons

We wish that they will update the feature to move messages from the 'Done' category to the 'Inbox' category when new messages come in. A note has been sent to their support team to see if it can be included in a future update.

I love how easy it is to send reminders to clients and how easy it uploads into our system.

I wish the VitusVet Connect app worked like it used to and sent us notifications.

We have been very pleased with the product, the interface is very intuitive and super easy to use. Also the support team is always helpful and prompt at answering questions.

Pros

Text messaging feature, flea/tick/HWP reminders, appointment confirmation messages, chat/email support

Cons

There are times when the client does not get patient reminders for services, that part is frustrating because the client becomes upset they were not reminded.

I wish the analytics were better, as I don't use them but would.

The expansion of services they offered throughout the past few years, have made our job a little easier. Our clients enjoy being able to text us and receiving pictures from us of their pets post-surgery.

Pros

I have been with VitusVet for a few years. What I like about the software is the easy of use for my staff. When I initially signed on with them, I was impressed with ways they were looking to expand services to better assist the veterinary clinics.

Cons

Integration into practice management software could be better but the solution VitusVet has works well

Vitus vet support has always been prompt and kind. The company always takes what we have to say into consideration and is always making improvements where necessary.

Pros

Ease of client communication and how it copies directly to the patient record.

Cons

Creating email and text campaigns is very clunky and the save/draft process makes it take longer than it should. I would like to see this improve.

### "You get a partner with Vitus Vet"

The main draw for me is the customer support-- we have the BEST account manager (shout out to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]!). He is always available and will readily bend over backwards if there's something he can do to help. He makes a point to reach out and check in. He is ALWAYS considerate of my time, which is SO appreciated.

Pros

Vitus Vet is very user friendly. We especially love the 2-way connect (texting platform), as it integrates with our practice management software. I had to send out a lot of email "blasts" during the initial days of the pandemic, as we updated our protocols and what not... super easy to make nice looking emails for mass communications as well.

Cons

On the app side of things, they used to have capability for clients to be able to pull up x-rays which was very cool but I'm sure REALLY bogged down the system and slowed things down. I really don't have any complaints. Vitus Vet is innovative and always coming up with new things... I really like that they ask for our input as well, when making these improvements.

The setup went flawlessly but support afterwards was not good. We still use it but I don’t have a super strong tie if something better came at better price

Pros

We use Vitus for our prescription requests, payments, reminders and texting and love the functionality

Cons

The support is definitely not where it should be. You have to email and wait, sometimes days for a response. It would be nice to have more local control of features

It's been great! A huge help to our front desk personnel...wish we had it during the height of COVID when clients were not allowed in the building. We also have our credit card processing included in the package, which is competitive and allowed us to upgrade our credit card machines.

Pros

VitusVet takes care of all types of reminders for us, including daily confirmation/reminders of appointments. Clients are able to request appointments through VitusVet. It also reaches to our clients for refills on medications. If clients want to access their pet records, they can do so through the VitusVet app, which is great!

Cons

It asks clients about ALL medications, even ones that should not be refilled.

Overall, we are very happy with Vitus Vet. The software is so much more robust than what we use it for, but the features we use are great. The customer service is exceptional.

Pros

We use Vitus Vet for automated appointment reminders and payment processing. The customizable automated reminders really helped us keep our clients up to date on current covid policies without much extra effort/phone calls/communications on our part. Additionally, it saves us a lot of time when confirming appointments for the next day. The payment processing and reporting is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

We have 2 payment terminals from Vitus Vet and they always connected and disconnected from the wifi at random times. It was rare that both terminals were connected to the wifi at the same time.
