### "I love Squarespace!"

July 10, 2026

5.0

Once I set up my website, everything was automatic—payments, domain renewals, everything. It makes management easy.

Pros

I was able to quickly create my website without coding! Pictures were easily uploaded. There were plenty of designs to choose from.

Cons

I liked everything. A lower price would be good, but I can’t beat the value of plug and play. I juggle a lot of sites for my businesses. I don’t have to think about this one.

### "Makes the hard stuff easy"

June 24, 2026

5.0

Overall positive. I've used it for a few small businesses over the years and they always have the web design I need.

Pros

I like how easily you can create a website using all the templates. They make a hard process pretty simple, removing the barrier to set up a website.

Cons

If there was a place to build a website for a one time fixed expense, even a high one, is be much more willing to use Squarespace. Paying $25 a month in perpetuity is rough, and y'all have no other option.

### "Not worth the money, but technically does the job."

February 19, 2026

2.0

Never returning, but it's not a uniquely horrible product. I could use it, but I would rather put my money into tools that offer more rather than just charging more.

Pros

I liked the high amount of templates. You really can just put your images and copy into most of them and end up with a beautiful website. It had decent SEO features. Somewhat easy to navigate and use.

Cons

It is not in any way worth the cost. They charge more for nearly every aspect of service from payments to web hosting to domains. Customer support is kind, but lacking. The user interface is buggy and often extremely confusing. I also constantly encountered bugs on my site.

### "Clean, Easy-to-Use Website Builder"

April 27, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Squarespace has been positive. It’s a very user-friendly platform that makes it easy to create a clean, professional-looking website without needing much technical experience. The templates are well-designed and the all-in-one setup (hosting, design, and basic marketing tools) keeps everything simple. That said, it can feel a bit limited when trying to make more advanced customizations, but for most standard website needs, it works really well.

Pros

Squarespace is extremely easy to use, even if you don’t have any experience building websites. The templates look modern and professional right out of the box, and everything is organized in a way that makes editing simple.

Cons

One downside of Squarespace is that it can feel a bit restrictive when you want more advanced customization—compared to other platforms, you don’t have as much flexibility unless you know some code.

Alternatives considered

[Wix](https://www.capterra.com/p/169007/Wix/)[Shopify](https://www.capterra.com/p/83891/Shopify/)

Reason for choosing Squarespace

I chose Squarespace over other platforms because it offered the best balance of professional design, ease of use, and all-in-one functionality. Compared to options like Wix or WordPress, it felt more streamlined and required less setup or maintenance, while still producing a clean, polished website.

### "Easy Ecommerce Site for Busy Entrepreneurs"

June 6, 2026

5.0

Overall I am very pleased! Not only was I able to help a friend in need, but I was also able to give them the confidence to roll with updates while still beong able to hop in and help as the changes take no time!

Pros

I like the ease of setting up your site. A friend of mine was having a hard time finding help building a site and Squarespace made it so easy to me to jump in and build the page quickly. It is so easy to navigate, make additional pages, and there are several templates to choose from. It is real easy to add/update products. Receiving and fulfilling orders is easy and even connects to shipping sites like Rollo. I am very impressed. Also a very, very good value. For quick, easy website builds, the price is so reasonable!

Cons

One thing i would change is customization. While there are many available templates, i did find myself sometimes wanting to change a color on a certain page and it was not as easy expected based on how the rest of the build went.

### "Beautiful sites made completely easy"

June 6, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Squarespace has been absolutely stellar. It is a massive relief to use a platform where everything just works together without any glitchy workarounds. The native integration with Acuity Scheduling makes booking client appointments completely hands-off, and collecting payments through Stripe and PayPal is flawless. It is easily the best value for money if you want a professional online presence that runs like clockwork.

Pros

Absolutely beautiful and incredibly easy. Building a website with Squarespace is pure joy. The user interface is so clean and intuitive, making the whole design process smooth from start to finish. I love how beautiful the templates are the page layouts automatically look amazing on both desktop and mobile. Setting up my online checkout and payment system was flawless and took only minutes. For the time it saves and the stunning results you get, the value for money is outstanding. 100% recommended!

Cons

Because Squarespace focuses so much on making sure your site looks beautiful and stays perfectly aligned, it can sometimes feel a little rigid. If you are an advanced coder who wants to completely change template structures or build highly complex, custom page layouts from scratch, you might run into a few creative walls. It’s designed to keep things streamlined, which is wonderful for most of us, but power-users might want a bit more total freedom!

### "Affordable websites"

June 28, 2026

5.0

I was able to obtain a website with the actual business name and .com that i wanted. For most businesses this is somewhat difficult.

Pros

What i liked most about squarespace was the ability to obtain a website in an affordable range. For the price it's worth it

Cons

What i liked least was after you obtain the website you have to subscribe for web hosting. I would have appreciated a all inclusive package.

### "Beautiful website for two sides of business, mostly no issue"

November 8, 2025

Overall built a beautiful website for two sides of my business that are connected. Some more advanced wishes not possible with the given templates but overall it’s great

Pros

I like how great my website looks. I have so many compliments and it was relatively easy to figure out myself.

Cons

It’s somewhat complicated when you need to do more advanced features. I have to google and chatgpt for answers where It should be more intuitive and user friendly to navigate. Or have more easily available info.

October 20, 2025

It was really positive, have no plans to try other website platforms & recommend it to everyone I know who is looking to build their own website.

Pros

Very easy to set up a website, has fairly good integration options with other platforms, provides a lot of features that help make your website look really good without needing experience in website design or coding.

Cons

### "Very easy to use"

September 17, 2025

Love that you do not have to be a pro coder or software developer to input your ideas and create a webpage.

Pros

It has AI capability that helps you develop your ideas. It provides the user with a lot of control over your page and has the potential to code if you know how to code. You can design your website exactly how you imagine.

Cons

They make it hard to move your domain from them to another domain. Paying for your domain name through them is costly. Other providers are cheaper.

### "Great product for easy and quick website launch."

June 9, 2025

5.0

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience with Squarespace, especially with the Acuity scheduler integration. The only two reasons we switched to a different platform for hosting our site was because a web designer friend of mine asked to help us with our website so we could work on creating some paywall aspects and other multimedia offerings. The other reason was because we no longer needed Acuity because our clinic upgraded to a full-feature EHR program to do notes, scheduling, and payment.

Pros

It was very helpful to have templates to design our website; without a specific designer, we were able to launch a full-functioning website within 1 day of starting.

Cons

I wish there were more options to change the font and sizes of text, there were only a few options to choose between headers, titles, etc.

Switched from

[Practice Fusion](https://www.capterra.com/p/266915/Practice-Fusion/)

Practice fusion increased their price beyond what I thought the service/product was worth. Their notetaking and scheduling were very clunky and not user-friendly.

Overall experience is excellent. I have used their websites for almost 10 years now and find it works a lot better for me than a wordpress site.

Cons

### "Squarespace delivers a smooth, visually impressive website‑building experience."

December 27, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Squarespace it that it delivers a smooth, visually impressive website‑building experience. It’s ideal for users who want a professional‑looking site without diving into code or juggling multiple tools. Customizable platform, its design quality, reliability, and ease of use make it a strong choice for portfolios, small business sites, and online stores.

Pros

What I like most and appreciate about Squarespace is how polished and consistent everything feels, with lots of features with great customer support. Pages load quickly, the interface is clean, and the mobile‑responsive designs require almost no extra work. For small businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs

Cons

What I like least about Squarespace has limits when it comes to flexibility. While the drag‑and‑drop editor is easy to use, it can feel restrictive if you want very specific layouts, newsletters or advanced customizations. Pricing is also on the higher side compared to some competitors, especially if you need advanced features.

### "It looks like Squarespace does well too"

April 10, 2026

Squarespace has removed some of the typical version control problems my team and I face with independent development and we have also been using data sheets to monitor leads and have had no issues so far.

Pros

All of the suite of tools are all right on one page in the interface and everything seemed to work fine, both throughout my testing and in terms of centralizing everything.

Cons

Unfortunately, the mobile applications don’t really add much in terms of editing capabilities and are mostly limited to allowing you to view your information withing the system.

### "Easy to Use Website Builder"

October 8, 2025

4.0

Very positive. For the price it is, it's an amazing way to design a slick, professional website that functions as you'd wish.

Pros

It's very easy to use and build a website. For those with no technical web development experience, they offer a variety of templates that make it simple and fast to design a nice looking website. It's fairly priced too. You can set your branding guidelines (colors, logo, etc.) and it incorporates it into the page layouts and templates seamlessly so it matches your brand.

Cons

Because it's easy to use and quite basic, it lacks more advanced customizations. For example, you can't make a page look completely different on mobile from desktop. They generally have to be the same designed page which doesn't always look best.

### "A Clean, User‑Friendly Website Builder with Some Limits"

May 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, Squarespace delivers a streamlined, reliable platform for building and maintaining a visually consistent website. It works well for users who prioritize ease of use and aesthetic quality, though it may be less ideal for highly customized or complex site requirements. Day‑to‑day management is straightforward, and the platform performs well for small businesses, portfolios, and informational sites.

Pros

Squarespace provides a polished, intuitive site‑building experience with modern templates that require minimal configuration. The platform’s built‑in design tools, responsive layouts, and integrated analytics make it easy to launch a professional‑looking site without relying on external plugins or custom development.

Cons

Customization beyond the standard template options can feel limited, especially for users who want deeper control over layout or functionality. Some advanced features require workarounds, and the platform’s closed ecosystem restricts flexibility compared to more open CMS solutions.

Pros

I love that this is an easy way to be able to sell your products and get paid for them. It works great for personal hobby businesses and is simple an easy to use.

Cons

I don't like having to pay a fee for using it especially as a small business but you always have to pay a fee for everything anyways so this is relatively cheap.
