### "Squarespace lifetime user "

August 6, 2026

5.0

Overall I always recommend squarespace to everyone. It’s always going to be my first choice. I’ve tried other website creation platforms but to me, squarespace gives you more and makes it easy to standout.

Pros

I LOVE squarespace. It’s really easy, almost too easy, to create a website. I’ve been using it for over 6-7 years now and the changes they’ve made have been easy to adapt to. The choice in page layouts are not complex and it’s worth the money.

Cons

I wish I didn’t have to pay extra for the scheduling feature and that it was more CRM friendly. I have to use a different system and just integrate them.

### "Squarespace does everything you need it to do. "

July 24, 2026

Overall squarespace has been the perfect solution for setting up a website which looks good is easy to update and is customised to fit with our branding.

Pros

The templates on squarespace are very good and you can set up a quality website very quickly. The drag and drop feature makes it easy for anybody to use.

Cons

Some features which are quite useful are part of the higher price tier, for example to be able to use any custom code.

Reason for choosing Squarespace

Squarespace seemed like it had better looking templates and also seemed slightly simpler to set up.

Pros

Beautiful, professional templates and its intuitive drag‑and‑drop editor, which make building a polished site feel effortless. Great for small businesses.

Cons

Design limitations show up when you try to customize layouts in ways the system doesn’t anticipate, especially compared to fully flexible builders

### "Makes the hard stuff easy"

June 24, 2026

5.0

Overall positive. I've used it for a few small businesses over the years and they always have the web design I need.

Pros

I like how easily you can create a website using all the templates. They make a hard process pretty simple, removing the barrier to set up a website.

Cons

If there was a place to build a website for a one time fixed expense, even a high one, is be much more willing to use Squarespace. Paying $25 a month in perpetuity is rough, and y'all have no other option.

### "Simple designs with a few oddities."

July 31, 2026

5.0

Squarespace is great for projects that do not require a great deal of backend development, and want to have a clean appearance. While not 100% flawless, there are some limitations in terms of customization and there are occasional bugs, it's a small team like us and it's good for the money. They're helpful but not necessarily the quickest, and the site is easy to use after you familiarise yourself with its peculiarities. A good option for more basic systems.

Pros

The pre-made templates are clean, neat and there are a lot of them so it will save you some time particularly when you're working on a smaller project where it would be impractical to make up something from scratch. Its drag-and-drop editor is intuitive to use, and its responsive design capability is good. Its use is also relatively straightforward, making it an excellent choice for training clients or other non-technical team members.

Cons

Occasional spacing and elements not lining up can be a nuisance. Their system can also be clunky when it comes to debugging custom CSS. They place some additional functions behind better payment levels, such as advanced analytics, which can be irritating in case you have a restricted budget. I've experienced a couple of issues with third party integration such as Zapier.

### "Very powerful platform"

July 16, 2026

5.0

I love this program, it's easy to use, customize, update and change things. Payment processing is great to have as well, the fees are a bit higher than expected, seeing your paying for the platform, but i like this platform.

Pros

I love features that are built in, and it makes building a website so easy and gives you lots of options to add and update. Love the fact that it can be used on the phone via the app as well

Cons

I'm not even sure, there's so much i like about the program. The only thing that I would like to have is probably the cost. It is quite expensive to be paying monthly, but its s till such a strong program, it kinda makes it worth it. Also, I haven't needed to, but I think if I needed to move off the platform, I wish there was a way to integrate the program with another platform so if you needed to switch platforms, you have something that will transfer everything, not having you redo everything again.

### "Squarespace"

July 28, 2026

5.0

I do really enjoy the templates and pick and drop options it offers. It definitely makes a beginner feel confident when building a website for the first time.

Pros

The best thing i like about Squarespace is that it is easy to use. Ease of use in the form of the drag and drop editor, to simple tools for beginners to build a professional looking site.

Cons

While Squarespace is great for beginners, that is where it also holds itself back as you can't use advanced or many custom features. I would have liked a "free version" just to get my feet wet as the 14 day trial wasn't enough when trying to get my business up and going.

Great! It's a perfect quick solution if you're not trying to do anything too fancy or sophisticated in terms of functionality or custom features.

Pros

Great solution if your budget is limited on custom solutions. We used Squarespace for the first few years as we developed our brand and it made things super easy to get started! Lots of great plugin capability as well.

Cons

themes can feel a little repetetive and stock-ish. and functionality options can also feel limited in some areas.

### "I love Squarespace!"

July 10, 2026

Once I set up my website, everything was automatic—payments, domain renewals, everything. It makes management easy.

Pros

I was able to quickly create my website without coding! Pictures were easily uploaded. There were plenty of designs to choose from.

Cons

I liked everything. A lower price would be good, but I can’t beat the value of plug and play. I juggle a lot of sites for my businesses. I don’t have to think about this one.

### "Results are in, Designers LOVE Squarespace!"

October 14, 2025

5.0

I have loved using Squarespace for many years to design my business websites, as well as for area organizations and clubs who needed a simple, efficient website. (With many bells and whistles that are not intimidating)

Pros

Squarespace is a great platform for all levels of website design. Those with no design experience will find the templates easy to use, and those with will be able to intuitively use the templates and then expand upon them to personalize and tweak.

Cons

At some point, there is a limitation for what you can do with your design templates and for the advanced designer you may grow out of this platform. But fortunately, Squarespace is always making improvements and often a need is met by an improvement within the platform.

Squarespqce streamlines the entire process of creating, designing and hosting websites and emails.

Pros

### "Squarespace: The simple professional platform"

Overally, I was impressed by the all-in-one solution that SquareSpace offered that enabled me to get a professional-looking website live much quicker.

Pros

I mostly liked the design flexibility, which was made possible by the professional-looking templates that are also mobile responsive.

Cons

I did not like that the more advanced features were only available on the more expensive plans which is different on other sites.

### "Worth the Investment"

March 16, 2026

4.0

Pros

I really enjoy how easy it is to use Squarespace. There are a variety of templates to chose from, so you can find something to fit your brand and needs, and I like that it's easier to add custom elements as well. I also think that it's pretty easy to add your domain to their website. Overall, it's a great value for your money and helps organizations of all sizes get their name out there.

Cons

One of the downsides to Squarespace is the payment feature. Although it is easy to collect payments through Squarespace's processor, it would be better for nonprofits if we could integrate with other payment processing servers. The other con is customer support can be confusing. In a day and age where companies are leaning into AI, it would be easier if we could have a person to talk to instead of endless FAQ page.

### "Squarespace delivers a smooth, visually impressive website‑building experience."

December 27, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Squarespace it that it delivers a smooth, visually impressive website‑building experience. It’s ideal for users who want a professional‑looking site without diving into code or juggling multiple tools. Customizable platform, its design quality, reliability, and ease of use make it a strong choice for portfolios, small business sites, and online stores.

Pros

What I like most and appreciate about Squarespace is how polished and consistent everything feels, with lots of features with great customer support. Pages load quickly, the interface is clean, and the mobile‑responsive designs require almost no extra work. For small businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs

Cons

What I like least about Squarespace has limits when it comes to flexibility. While the drag‑and‑drop editor is easy to use, it can feel restrictive if you want very specific layouts, newsletters or advanced customizations. Pricing is also on the higher side compared to some competitors, especially if you need advanced features.

### "Squarespace Is The Place"

April 2, 2026

4.0

Overall I think Squarespace is a very powerful and simple platform, especially for those new to website creation. Although there's cheaper alternatives I think this is a very sensible and logical option.

Pros

Squarespace is very user friendly and easy to use. I really like the various templates, designs, and choices offered.

Cons

Squarespace has limited abilities to customize certain aspects in the website design process. Also, for anything extensive or complex this is probably not the best choice when creating a website.

### "Easy to Use Website Builder"

October 8, 2025

4.0

Very positive. For the price it is, it's an amazing way to design a slick, professional website that functions as you'd wish.

Pros

It's very easy to use and build a website. For those with no technical web development experience, they offer a variety of templates that make it simple and fast to design a nice looking website. It's fairly priced too. You can set your branding guidelines (colors, logo, etc.) and it incorporates it into the page layouts and templates seamlessly so it matches your brand.

Cons

Because it's easy to use and quite basic, it lacks more advanced customizations. For example, you can't make a page look completely different on mobile from desktop. They generally have to be the same designed page which doesn't always look best.

### "Slick website builder ideal for small brand sites."

December 1, 2025

5.0

For the small brands we support, Squarespace allows me to set up good-looking sites faster; I spend less time on boilerplate and more on messaging, SEO basics, calls to action.

Pros

I really appreciate the speed with which I can design a polished marketing site when using Squarespace; the built-in templates, fonts, and layouts are super helpful in wowing non-technical clients without complex custom code.

Cons

That’s understandable, and I’m sure that there are plenty of people who feel the same way as you do, but what really gets to me is the lack of freedom when it comes to making advanced customizations.

### "A Clean, User‑Friendly Website Builder with Some Limits"

May 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, Squarespace delivers a streamlined, reliable platform for building and maintaining a visually consistent website. It works well for users who prioritize ease of use and aesthetic quality, though it may be less ideal for highly customized or complex site requirements. Day‑to‑day management is straightforward, and the platform performs well for small businesses, portfolios, and informational sites.

Pros

Squarespace provides a polished, intuitive site‑building experience with modern templates that require minimal configuration. The platform’s built‑in design tools, responsive layouts, and integrated analytics make it easy to launch a professional‑looking site without relying on external plugins or custom development.

Cons

Customization beyond the standard template options can feel limited, especially for users who want deeper control over layout or functionality. Some advanced features require workarounds, and the platform’s closed ecosystem restricts flexibility compared to more open CMS solutions.
