### "Squarespace is great, especially for beginners!"

February 23, 2026

5.0

Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Squarespace! I haven't had to use customer service, but from everything else I've seen, I think it would be easy to navigate.

Pros

Squarespace is very user friendly, especially compared to a few of the other website building services that I have tried to use in the past. Everything is nice and neat, and you can use premade blocks or make your own.

Cons

I really don't have anything negative to say about Squarespace. It meets my needs for what I need it to do!

I do really like the company and many of the options that are available to build websites and use many different tools within the site.

Pros

Cons

I found it clunky to build even with templates available. I did not like how difficult it was change menues.

### "Not worth the money, but technically does the job."

February 19, 2026

2.0

Never returning, but it's not a uniquely horrible product. I could use it, but I would rather put my money into tools that offer more rather than just charging more.

Pros

I liked the high amount of templates. You really can just put your images and copy into most of them and end up with a beautiful website. It had decent SEO features. Somewhat easy to navigate and use.

Cons

It is not in any way worth the cost. They charge more for nearly every aspect of service from payments to web hosting to domains. Customer support is kind, but lacking. The user interface is buggy and often extremely confusing. I also constantly encountered bugs on my site.

### "Great product, price is becoming a barrier "

February 13, 2026

5.0

Good! The platform is easy to use and set up for any website owner. The Squarespace team has a lot of different tutorials as well. The price point is starting to be the biggest pain factor for myself as a small business owner.

Pros

It is very user friendly for people who have limited-no experience with website design. I love the ability to integrate third party apps.

Cons

The cost keeps rising for the same features. The value of the items for the price they charge is starting to become a problem for me as a small business owner.

Overall it has been good. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to knock out a website. Now adding things or adjusting is not so scary

Pros

The website that we built is very nice and finally at a place we feel we want it. it did take us a bit of time.

Cons

At first it was overwhelming, not having background in website development I became frustrated and it took me a while to get it done. I was finally able to do it.

### "Squarespace Is The Place"

April 2, 2026

4.0

Overall I think Squarespace is a very powerful and simple platform, especially for those new to website creation. Although there's cheaper alternatives I think this is a very sensible and logical option.

Pros

Squarespace is very user friendly and easy to use. I really like the various templates, designs, and choices offered.

Cons

Squarespace has limited abilities to customize certain aspects in the website design process. Also, for anything extensive or complex this is probably not the best choice when creating a website.

### "Great All-in-One Platform for Event Management"

October 20, 2025

4.0

Overall, Squarespace made it easy to manage my small business and host creative events for kids. It allowed me to display past and upcoming workshops, accept payments, and keep in touch with customers. It’s reliable, visually appealing, and ideal for business owners who want to handle everything themselves.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to build a clean, professional website without needing technical skills. The event sales page features worked smoothly, and I loved being able to list upcoming art and craft sessions, sell tickets, and keep everything organized in one place. The templates were simple to customize for my business style.

Cons

I wish there were more flexible options for event ticket reporting and email confirmations. Customer support was very helpful, but the live chat wait times could be shorter.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Squarespace

Wix had flexible design options but felt less streamlined for managing event ticket sales. Shopify was great for products, but it seemed more focused on retail than event-based businesses. Squarespace offered the best balance of design, simplicity, and event management tools for what I needed.

Overall built a beautiful website for two sides of my business that are connected. Some more advanced wishes not possible with the given templates but overall it’s great

Pros

I like how great my website looks. I have so many compliments and it was relatively easy to figure out myself.

Cons

It’s somewhat complicated when you need to do more advanced features. I have to google and chatgpt for answers where It should be more intuitive and user friendly to navigate. Or have more easily available info.

### "Best Website Software for Non-Coders"

December 18, 2025

5.0

I love Squarespace. I manage many websites for my own businesses, for family, and for clients. Hands-down it’s the best website for someone who doesn’t know or doesn’t want to learn coding.

Pros

Squarespace is an easy to use all-in-one platform. It produces clean, fresh websites with a few clicks. There are numerous ways to go deeper for fine tuning a website. I find it easy to show clients how to end up managing their own website.

Cons

The templates are great, but they are limited. Some of the individuals modules aren’t as strong as I’d like. The ‘Menu’ module for restaurants or pricing is complex. It doesn’t allow much variability in use.

### "Great product for easy and quick website launch."

June 9, 2025

5.0

Overall, we had a very pleasant experience with Squarespace, especially with the Acuity scheduler integration. The only two reasons we switched to a different platform for hosting our site was because a web designer friend of mine asked to help us with our website so we could work on creating some paywall aspects and other multimedia offerings. The other reason was because we no longer needed Acuity because our clinic upgraded to a full-feature EHR program to do notes, scheduling, and payment.

Pros

It was very helpful to have templates to design our website; without a specific designer, we were able to launch a full-functioning website within 1 day of starting.

Cons

I wish there were more options to change the font and sizes of text, there were only a few options to choose between headers, titles, etc.

Switched from

[Practice Fusion](https://www.capterra.com/p/266915/Practice-Fusion/)

May 10, 2025

Overall experience is excellent. I have used their websites for almost 10 years now and find it works a lot better for me than a wordpress site.

Pros

Cons

The page upload speed is slow with messes a bit with our ability to access some google tools.

### "Squarespace - For All Shapes and Sizes"

Overall I am completely pleased with Squarespace. I feel all of the pros highly outweigh any cons that are involved.

Pros

I really enjoy the ease of Squarespace. It is very upfront in its ability to ensure usability for beginners as well as more in-depth processes for experts. It's easy, fast, and offers a great amount of support.

Cons

While there are not many things I dislike about Squarespace, the very thing I enjoy is also a perplexing issue. Correct placement is a bit harder to achieve when using the website builder. Also, a colleague mentioned Squarespace, in the past, had problems with backing up work.

The drag-and-drop features make it easy and intuitive to build pages, giving you the freedom to easily adjust layouts, add images, videos, and interactive elements. Each template can be customized to your specific needs, so your site doesn’t just look like another cookie-cutter design. Overall, a great choice for a website platform.

Pros

Squarespace is an excellent platform for anyone who wants a professional-looking website without needing to write a code. The platform offers high-quality templates that are visually appealing right out of the box, and flexible enough to customize for any brand/style.
