### "Very easy to use with no web experience"

October 13, 2022

4.0

Initially, we set up our store in a couple days and hit the ground running. Setup was easy and user friendly.

Pros

Design and deployment was very easy. This software is suitable for anyone who has no web experience. The graphic and design tools are easy to understand and use.

Cons

The main area that we felt was lacking was the integration to facebook business and email platforms in order to run paid advertising and email campaigns.

### "It allows me to create a website in a fast and editable way"

November 17, 2021

5.0

Squarespace is to a great extent prescribed by me and my partners to any individual who needs to make a blog or a site for their diversion purposes. You can distribute merchandise, have music, and have different impacts of that nature on there.

Pros

I guess Squarespace is for the individuals who have no real way to set up a site previously. furthermore, it's a decent choice for the individuals who need to blog as well as have a site. Authentically Organized and simple to explore dashboard, various modules are accessible to give new abilities, Thousands of free and minimal expense topics are accessible, you can oblige any plan you envision.

Cons

Having the rigidity to utilize topics and modules and web designers with picture sliders and further elements, I needed to become acclimated to adding modules. When I got its hang, it was straightforward and use.

### "Squarespace is great if you don't ever need to talk to anyone"

April 13, 2021

5.0

I'm happy with this platform and will continue to use it. I find the templates really easy to plug into. Overall it helps one to create a beautiful and authentic website. The plug-ins like Tax-Jar, Acuity and Stripe are all very helpful and you have to be diligent at learning about each plug-in separately from Sqaurespace or you won't get the most out of it. I wish there was an option for a clear customer service contact. You have to really search for it and being on a higher tiered payment schedule I'd like the option to simply call a rep for the things I can't figure out only own.

Pros

I love the templates and ease of use. My website is beautiful and I feel proud of what I've created.

Cons

There're things that just don't work. I can't seem to authenticate my email address in the marketing section. I've read all the HELP info and watched the videos and it's just not working. The thing about Squarespace is that they really are great and they don't have reliable or even accessible customer service. I also don't like that everything is ala cart. At first that made sense but it would be awesome if there was a flat fee for different tiers of business. I say this because until you realize what you need for your business you might not even know that Squarespace has it...

### "Easy to use and beautiful templates"

December 3, 2019

5.0

Overall I've had a great experience with Squarespace. I'm able to have a professional looking website up and and running, with no hassle. I have somewhere to direct potential clients, and clients can book time with me directly from my website. It's done exactly what I wanted it to do and I didn't have to spend a lot of time setting it up. I don't have to do any maintenance, which means I can focus on my core business.

Pros

I really love the templates that Squarespace offers and the software's ease of use. I spent an afternoon putting my website together and it was just so easy to launch. I'm in a service business and I use my website as a place to send people. I'm not interested in driving a lot of traffic to my website, it's something for me to have. It's so easy to update and if I ever change the name of my company or the domain, I won't feel like I've invested all this time into it, that I'll feel bad letter it go. At the same time, I'm really proud of it, I love the way it looks and it's so easy to update.

Cons

I notice my computer slows down a bit when I have it open. I do have an older computer, so it's slow in general, but when I open up Squarespace to update my website in Safari, it slows things down. Not a huge deal since I don't update it that much anymore, but I do notice it when I'm on it.

### "A Powerful Tool to Launch Any Business"

March 3, 2022

5.0

Pros

I am a huge fan of Squarespace's ability to help users spin up a website or other web assets quickly, and in a way that any member of the team with even a modicum of technical ability can contribute or make edits if necessary. The graphic user interface makes developing and designing an easy and efficient process.

Cons

Squarespace does lack in some of the advanced functionality and features of other sites, but that is made up for in its ability excel in allowing users to quickly and efficiently generate new content.

### "SquareSpace"

November 23, 2022

4.0

Pros

Integrating other software (FareHarbor, Google, etc.) is vital to our company's growth and Squarespace achieves this effortlessly. Some reporting features and analytics can be improved by having a dashboard where we can see each of our domain breakdowns in one spot rather than having to click through each domain.

Cons

Multiple domain analytics can be improved to a central location/dashboard.

### "Got me started with certain industries but was never a preferred means"

December 15, 2020

4.0

I have used this platform to sell and promote a festival that I assisted in curating. I do branding and artistic direction and squarespace made it quite easy to inject my own images in a manner that made a beautiful website while retaining thousands of dollars worth of sales yearly.

Pros

Popular platform with ease of use so high it makes it quite simple for people to manage a website in general and has assisted many in the build process of websites that have served me and my colleagues for years at a time. Simplistic building features with a solid framework allows for clean construction and sleek looks in a manner that allows those that do not know extensive amounts of code to design.

Cons

Not as many features or plugin support as Wordpress and is not open source. Templates in some respect are generic and design elements may be bland in some respects if not customized appropriately

### "Its a decent software, but not the absolute best"

March 4, 2022

4.0

I would say my overall experience has been quite positive with Sqaurespace. Its a good software that makes building a website quite easy. Its particularly great for those who are new to building and designing website.

Pros

You can easily and quickly build a website with Squarespace even if you're not an experienced website designer. I know many people who had no background in designing websites and have managed to create decent websites with Squarespace.

Cons

I think the overall user interface can be improved to make it easier to use. Also a more detailed menu on the sides would make it easier to find the exact feature you're looking for.

### "Online Shop and Portfolio"

November 11, 2020

5.0

Very good. I would recommend it to others looking to build a website.

Pros

I use this as a host for my website and for an online illustration portfolio and shop. It is a little pricey all upfront, but if I break down the business plan per month, its $18 a month, which I make back in my store, so I always break even/make money. I like that there are templates that you dont have to know any coding for and they are pretty intuative. Same with the store. I've used this for atleast 5 years now and don't plan to change.

Cons

I've been waiting for them to take away the need to enter a physical address when people buy a free digital download from my store, and I contacted customer service and they were kinda dumb and didn't really help me with my issue, but that's been the only issue I've had in years.

### "Top quality website and easy to create!"

January 21, 2020

So far all my experiences are incredible! They get back to me right away whenever I have a question or issue. Fast to resolve.

Pros

Cons

The monthly subscription program is pricey but a less expensive option then what I've used before.

### "Squarespace is Simply the Best"

August 16, 2018

5.0

Squarespace allowed me to create an easy to navigate portfolio site for my creative work, ready to view for both desktop computers and mobile devices. It was incredibly easy and worth the time and money.

Pros

Squarespace has been the easiest website creation and hosting provider I've ever used. Compared to the several I had tried before, the utility and intuitiveness of Squarespace makes it very worthwhile in terms of effort to put in, and value received. I've been using it for my portfolio website going on 4 or 5 years now, and I'll use it forever. It provides a breadth of gorgeous templates that can each be customized to reflect your own unique work, message, or product. Setting up a marketplace or storefront is also possible, everything is just made easy.

Cons

Some templates and specific options can be obtuse when trying to find something to change. Say you have a certain width between thumbnails you want to change, or the color of a certain link or text, it may take some digging to find. But once you do, you've learned some of the ins and outs of Squarespace and are prepared to change this again in the future.

### "Good overall calendar options."

June 17, 2021

4.0

While I used Squarespace as my web host for a year, I chose another platform because of it's reported robust features and price point. I was sorely disappointed in the calendar features of my chosen platform and came back to the scheduling piece of Squarespace because it met most of my needs. As I restarted, I had a small issue that was fixed in a few short hours.

Pros

After trying several calendar options out, including one that came with the website platform I chose, I came back to Acuity/Squarespace Scheduling because it was easy to accomplish what I needed. I also like that it has options to grow as my company does.

Cons

I am integrating it with another platform and I don't have the option to change the size of font to match other working on my website. That's a little irritating.

### "Squarespace Review"

December 1, 2022

5.0

Pros

As far as ease of use goes, you can't beat Squarespace. It's so easy to build websites. But there are many website builders that are easy to use. What sets Squarespace apart is that it's not only easy to use, but unbelievably high quality. I am able to edit our company website and design beautiful pages without knowing any code.

Cons

It doesn't run well in Mozilla Firefox, my default browser. It also doesn't have a very good way to capture form responses. The form tool as a whole isn't amazing.

### "Great functionality and templates"

November 26, 2019

5.0

As referenced above, we were creating a space for a book release and publicity campaign for a photographer releasing his memoir. Squarespace was able to successfully host the site and create big impact for the release.

Pros

The sleek design, easy functionality and classy templates are great for quickly starting a site that will stand out and be professional. I recently created a site for a colleague's book release and publicity campaign--a photographer with incredibly exacting standards--and Squarespace's templates and ability to host high quality images worked well to make an impactful site.

Cons

At times, if you'd like to do something customizable that doesn't quite fit the template, you can run into some slowdowns. In our case, we wanted very specific features that the template didn't give us--it got us 90% of the way. However, once we hopped on the phone and chat with customer service, our team was able to communicate our needs and have them executed into the page.

Reason for choosing Squarespace

WE have a previous site with Squarespace and it still seems to be the front runner for functionality, customer service, ease of updating and looking damn good.

It’s pretty good.

Pros

It’s easy to set up the website if you have basic programming skills. The help portion will basically guide you through everything. There are lots of ways to customize it and make it your own.

Cons

The employees have no idea how to do anything, they can barely understand any questions. They also don’t allow readers to leave a thumbs up on an article. That’s a fail.

### "Clean, Modern, User-Friendly Web Design"

June 3, 2019

5.0

My clients have had no complaints! It is a very reliable program.

Pros

I love that Squarespace is both user-friendly and customizable at the same time. As an independent web designer, it's nice to have the option to use coding to customize my work, while knowing that my clients will be able to access basic functionality as well. I also love Squarespace's templates – every template, no matter which style, has a very clean and modern look. Even the newest web designer can create something sophisticated with the help of the many templates.

Cons

Some templates have differing customizable elements (ie, some things that are customizable on one template are not on another). They do have style guides that list the functionality of all the templates, but I do wish there was an easier way to differentiate between the options (maybe a template comparison tool?).

### "Not my cup of tea"

Squarespace was ok for a beginner because you can use templates. As long as you don't mind a very simple clean design with not many options, you are good with Squarespace.

Pros

I liked that it was easy to setup if you are just looking for a very simple website. It was ok to navigate simple menus.

Cons

It just lacked a lot of features and customization that I felt was ultra necessary for me to create a website that shows my style.

### "A little rigid in design but has easy to read analytics "

September 23, 2020

4.0

I enjoy Squarespace's analytics and the predesigned themes. However, I wish this product was more fluid when it comes to its design element. Nevertheless, this product is fairly user friendly (it just lacks room for creative expression)

Pros

Squarespace had great themes to select from. It is also very easy to code in your desired design with HTML and CSS. My favorite feature of Squarespace is its analytics. The analytics feature is extremely easy to read and detailed. Updated site settings and SEO was also a very streamlined process.

Cons

I disliked how rigid squarespace is when it comes to designing the product. I did not like how the fonts were limited as well as the sizing of the text. I also dislike how difficult it is to move items around when editing the site.
