I can get ahold of their help desk, there’s a ton of online articles for support and almost everything I’ve been able to figure out on my own. Pros The ease of use can’t be beat! I’ve been able to get 2 different websites up and running in a day. If you have most of your brand assets and guidelines ready, you can put up a site quickly and have something that functions even if you don’t have a tech background. Cons The eCommerce features are fine, but could use some updates and some fleshing out. But it’s still a great place to start. While I occasionally need support, it’s just part of my learning curve. It’s a great website with a lot of options at an affordable price. Pros Easy to use with lots of options. I’m not a coder, very little experience with web design and was able to create new sections and what I wanted (after someone else did the initial design) Cons I changed a header on one page and it changed it on all pages. However, while quick to respond their support was lacking in technically ability and they were very reluctant to escalate an issue to a higher level. Pros good template selection, mobile platform optimization built in Plus Squarespace has an all in one approach to domains, website management, analytics and eCommerce. Cons Squarespace felt too restrictive and difficult to achieve my vision. While Squarespace does have built-in domains now I was trying to link my already existing domain to Squarespace and it took multiple attempts, issues like never ending "is updating" that never finished required multiple out reaches to Support that never resolved the issue. Additionally while they do have a good all in one approach trying to integrate apps outside of their limited library was diffiuclt or impossible. While you can modify the templates, it's not as flexible as other platforms that allow more control over code and functionality. Pros As someone who has never created a website I was a bit intimidated at first however it was so easy to set up and it walked me through the process of setting up my website, domain, custom email etc. I also love that it gives me easy to look at analytics about how many people are viewing my site and how they are getting there, direct link, Facebook, etc. Cons There was a bit of a learning curve when it came to learning how to design my website but you're going to have that with almost any platform. After I figured it out it wasn't difficult. I enjoy the experience I am buying more domains because of the auto-complete feature I mentioned and the value.
