Pros: I have been using Buffer for around two years and still think it is a must-have for any social media users who are needing to automate their posts.

Top pros for this software are:

Relatively low cost.

Run multiple profiles.

Ability to schedule damn near unlimited posts.

Scheduling options and queue are presented well and easy to use.

The way the analytics are presented.

The content feed is also a brilliant feature, although it can also do with some significant improvements.

This is by far one of the best low cost/free software's for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn posting.

Cons: As above, the content feed needs some improvement, as it does not always pull the most recent links. Addition of a filter for the content feed would be an A* feature.

Sometimes hashtag lists do not display correctly and errors can be shown when tagging someone's profile.

Need to be able to create a permanent, possibly arranged list of regularly used hashtags.

Instagram posts need to be monitored as direct posting is not available, instead, you are notified to 'ok' the post first. This wouldn't be a problem IF the notifications actually were pushed on time, plus it does kind of defeat the purpose of the automation.

Overall: The best thing about Buffer is the number of accounts and posts that can be added. Next up the ability to see the overall potential of posts in the analytics gives a good insight as to who your fans are, who they're fans are and what they like sharing. Overall, Buffer is a must have for Social Media users who can't spend every waking hour posting.

Hi, Nathaniel, thank you so much for the kind feedback and suggestions. Your suggestions are really helpful in helping us improve the product. I personally really like the idea of filtering the content feed.

I'm glad to share that you can now schedule and automatically publish your Instagram posts to your Instagram Business profiles without needing the notifications. Here's more information: https://buffer.com/instagram.

Pros: I love using Buffer to plan out my social media strategy. Here is what I love most about it:

1) It easily integrates with Twitter and Facebook. It works with Pinterest and Instagram, but I only use it for Facebook and Twitter.

2) You get to use it for free for up to 10 scheduled posts at a time (as of this writing) and this allows you to be sure that it works for you and for your needs.

3) The team at behind Buffer is fantastic. The few times I needed to contact support I was helped right away and my issue taken care of just like that. Their emails are funny and you can tell that they love what they do.

Cons: Honestly there isn't a lot I dislike about Buffer. If I had major problems with it I would have switched over to Hootsuite or a similar app.

In the end, here are three things I could Buffer could improve upon.

1) The UI can be a bit clunky at times. I think it could use a makeover. It's not terrible by any means but it can be confusing to figure out.

2) Sometimes the extension doesn't connect right, and it gets stuck in a loading pattern.

3) I often have to go and reauthorize twitter or Facebook to work again. It can get annoying to do this over and over.

Overall, these downsides are only slight and don't stop me from loving Buffer.

Overall: If not for Buffer I would not be able to post regularly to social media. I don't get on the various platforms enough to post everyday, and Buffer makes it possible to bring a message to my audience on a consistent basis.

Pros: I started using buffer around 5 years ago and they had a great idea right from the start: how can I schedule social media tasks well in advance so I can set it and forget it?

This has been the core feature ever since: you create your posts, define your posting schedule and let the app do it's magic automatically. Most social media marketers I know care more about the quality of their posts than scheduling each post with an exact date and time and that's where buffer excels.

You can also add different social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter and now even Instagram. The latter is really something most social media apps can't do, so it's great to have.

Buffer is a great tool to "collect" posts from everywhere you go and just put it into your queue with the click of a button. For this they created a browser extension that you can just press when you're reading an article you like and it will be immediately added to your buffer.

Also buffer is the only app I know of that has integrations with lots of blogs and the like that allow you to just add to your buffer with a simple click. Watch out for the "Add to Buffer" button when you browse the web.

The free version allows you not just to thoroughly test the software, but also to use it for your small social media projects where you can schedule up to 10 posts at once.

Oh, and the support is amazing! I once asked for a refund because auto renewal was activated for a customer and they happily refunded it,

Cons: The pricing was way more compelling before with the Awesome plan.

Additional team members are a must when you're collaborating, but they start at 99$ a month which is too much in my opinion.

The buffer is missing some crucial collaboration features of other software that makes it hard to use for working as a team. The current approach is more like "everybody adds their posts and they'll be scheduled automatically" and less "everybody suggests posts and let's discuss them in the team". Thus it's not ideal for agencies that would like to discuss posts internally and send them to the client for approval.

Pros: One of the headaches of every community manager, is the fact of managing all the networks of one or several clients, thanks to Buffer that is a thing of the past. I really like the possibility that it offers me to have everything I need in one place to make my work better and better. Another thing I look for in a platform for the management of social networks, is to be able to measure the scope of each of the issues that are published, thanks to buffer it is possible to obtain it without any problem. Also, I can take the time and the effectiveness of my work, I have received several days to get other customers since I started using this wonderful platform, which translates into higher income for my services supported by Buffer, I daresay that, at present, is the best alternative for the management of social networks.

Cons: I have been using Buffer for several years for the automation of my work and I am very happy with everything that it offers, I can not negatively affect it because I have seen how they constantly correct all the inconveniences that arise, so I do not accompany my criticism with any negative comments the platform. I am sure that soon they will improve the web interface and include many more surprises to increase the number of users.

Overall: Working in the levels of Community Manager, and Social Media Manager, it is important to try many options for the automation of the accounts of all the clients that trust my marketing vision to manage their presence in the network. With Buffer I have saved a lot of money, activities that several people did in the past, now it is enough to use their platform from cell phones, even in a computer, it is that multiplatform feature that makes me stay loyal to your commercial options. Another element that very few speak is time, for me it is vital, that is why thanks to buffer, I only dedicate the essential to plan all the content and I count on its technology for the fulfillment of the assignments that I seek to generate per day. That is why if you are looking for an effective and very capable option, with buuffer you arrived at the indicated place.

Still one of the best social media schedulers

Pros: Quick to schedule social media posts to multiple accounts in a few clicks. Extremely versatile and easy to use.

I have used many social media scheduling tools over the years but keep coming back to Buffer. I actually used the free version for many years but as a business grows and your social media presence grows it is better to pay for a solution that allows you to manage them all under one roof.

When it comes to scheduling posts, the interface is clean and simple and easy to use. There is link shortening too if required.

The limit for queued posts is 100 per social media account which is easily enough for at least a month's worth of posts so should be sufficient for most users.

Automatic Instagram posting is a relatively new and welcome addition to Buffer.

Support are pretty responsive when required but I haven't needed much from them in all honesty.

All in all I really like Buffer. It is considerably cheaper than many of its competitors and does what it does really well and if someone is looking to buy into a paid social media scheduling tool I would recommend they start here.

Cons: RSS feed can be a bit clunky.

Is 8 accounts generous enough? You are "limited" to 8 social media accounts on the Pro plan which sounds a lot but can be filled up quickly. They reduced this in March 2018 from 10 to 8 which was disappointing.

Another disappointment is the lack of a native way to enable bulk scheduling by uploading a csv file. This is available in other schedulers (although they are considerably more expensive than Buffer). Fortunately there is a solution in the form of a 3rd party application called "bulk buffer" (just do a Google search for it).

Hi, Jason, thank you for the kind review and honest feedback about our tool. If you are up for sharing, I would love to hear more about the RSS feed. I also hear you regarding the account limits and bulk scheduling. We have heard similar feedback about the account limits and have been thinking about how we could improve that. Thanks again for the feedback.

Pros: Buffer integrates nicely with softwares such as start a fire, feedly and Crate. Which are all softwares i use. This makes it easy for me to share content to my followers. It is easy to use and the freeplan supports 5 social medis networks.

Cons: The image quality loss I experienced when i used Buffer on my fire tablet. Granted Buffer on my android tablet is perfect but I wished it worked just as well as Hootsuite did.

Overall: I'm a huge fan of Buffer (And Hootsuite), Buffer was the first social media manager I've ever used. It was easy to use and the UI was great. I use the free plan which came with 7 days (I think) to use the Pinterest feature free.

I wish the free plan wasn't restricted to 10 posts per profile but I can understand the reason.

There was also an image quality loss when I used buffer on my Kindle fire tablet, but their support was quick to help and while Buffer isn't natively functional on Fire, it was god to know that the customer care did all that they could to help.

Buffer analytics is kind of lame, maybe it's because I'm on the free plan but I laughed when I clicked on analytics and the metrics were: Retweets, Likes, Mention, Comments, Shares, Potential' Instagram Analytics gives better stats than that

One area where Buffer trumps Hootsuite is that it the free plan supports 5 social media profiles (Once again you can only use Pinterest for 7 days free but meh). I like the fact that I can set up my preferred schedule times and then when I 'Add to Queue' the posts go out at the specified time. It's like MavSocial's 'Campaign' feature.

I also liked being able to Rebuffer my old posts. It kept my social media profile continually active. I mostly use Buffer connected to getcrate.co to keep my social media profiles active.

Pros: Buffer takes so much effort out of frequent social media posting. It allows with a click and a few words of caption to post to one site or many, one page or many, on a pre-set or "next up" schedule so that you never have to stop what you're doing to share a web site to your profiles. It takes care of the post times, the queue, the placement, even the analyitics of how your posts perform across all of your social sites.

Their blog alone is worth subscribing to - jammed with useful and entertaining tips for maximizing your results, and the free version can be very helpful for startup pages or social enthusiasts. But when you're serious about posting for your business, the paid plans make the transition to "professional social media marketer" very seamless.

Cons: Recently, Facebook and Buffer aren't as tightly integrated as they used to be. That's a change with FB, and Buffer is very up front about why things are different. It's a small step backward, and not the developer's fault at all. It's still the very best value in managed social media posting, and a sanity saver for anyone who posts to multiple sites/profiles/pages on a regular basis.

Overall: I'm not a social media professional, and have no interest in spending time each day on multiple pages of multiple sites to share information for business marketing. Buffer let's me do exactly that work with a few clicks, and schedule posts out for days at a time.

Pros: I've done social media marketing consulting for 3-4 years now and I will always suggest Buffer to my small business clients. The platform is so straightforward it would take the most non-technology savvy person to get lost on it. The free platform works flawlessly and lets you connect quite a few of your social accounts, and I have never had a problem with the mobile app - and come to think of it I'm pretty sure I only use the mobile app for scheduling when I create my own content. If you're not sure which social scheduler to use when you're just first starting out, please consider Buffer. Their team is on top of its game when creating content for its users and keeping their community up to date on the latest Instagram API changes and Facebook algorithms. This platform is the real deal.

Cons: This platform is great if you're the sole owner of your social platforms, but when you need to move to a bigger team I would consider upgrading to something more robust like Sprout Social. I really don't have many bad things to say about Buffer besides that its fairly simplistic, but honestly that simplicity is what attracts so many small business owners to the platform. If you have 3-4 social accounts and post fairly regularly on a weekly basis, Buffer is a great product for you.

Pros: As a photographer, I rely heavily on social media, so social media assistants/schedulers are great for streamlining work. Some pros of Buffer are:

- There are varying levels of accounts, including a free option, so you're sure to find a plan that works for you

- Buffer has a strong analytics tool. The big plus here for me is that it will show you in plain english which posts perform better or worse (and you can filter them by engagement type).

- Scheduling posts across platforms is literally as easy as one click.

- The interface is simple and very user friendly.

Cons: Cons:

-The biggest con is not a fault of Buffer, and that is its integration with Instagram. Instagram does not allow third party apps to post on its behalf, so Buffer cannot do this. It instead will send a notification to your phone to let you know that it loaded a photo into your Instagram account, and from there you take the lead.

- With the free version, you can only keep 10 scheduled posts at a time.

- The analytics lacks a key thing: the ability to monitor mentions, searches or hashtags.

Overall: Overall, Buffer is a helpful tool for scheduling posts across many platforms. As a small business owner, I have very little time leftover at the end of the day, and the last thing I want to worry about is my social media posting. Buffer helps me streamline my workday and check one more thing off the list with little effort.

Pros: I have used Buffer for two different businesses and might start using it for myself personally soon. It's a very intuitive, user-friendly way to schedule social media posts, and even the free version of Buffer is a useful tool. Compared to Hootsuite I find Buffer to be easier to use, and easier to learn to use, as well as far more pleasant to look at. Buffer easily allows you to schedule social media posts for various media channels, and having the browser add on makes this even easier.

Cons: I've been sad to hear about the features that Buffer is removing from their free plan (previously called the Individual plan) in March of 2018. The Re-buffer option (which allowed you to easily reschedule high-performing posts that you previously posted) will no longer be available on the free plan. They've also changed their link shortening options, no longer offering bitly link shortening. This isn't a huge deal, and if you're planning to pay for Buffer anyway then it's fine. Buffer is really most useful if you pay for it anyway, since the free plan only allows you to schedule 10 posts in advance per social account. I have used both the free and paid version of Buffer, and probably will use both in the future, though I also plan to revisit Hootsuite and consider switching back.

Pros: Buffer is a great tool for Social Media Marketing and Management. The thing that I liked the most about Buffer is their simple User Interface.

You can navigate easily, you won't need a Digital Compass, unlike other Social Media Management tools where you will be lost in a sea of buttons.

Connecting your Social Media Profiles will be an easy breeze, click a button and voila! You're already connected and ready to roll-out.

Buffer has a Free plan! Yep, you will never have to worry if you're cramming the software.

Buffer Free Plan has a built-in Analytics tool that does work intelligently.

Every now and then, the Free Plan also receives the Upgrades for the Paid Versions.

The Paid Plans are not that Pricey, it's worth your money.

Cons: As much as I love to see if someone mentions my Social Media Account, Buffer cannot show this, if you're a freak about mentions, searches or relevant and rich hashtags, Buffer has little to no feature like this. Just remember, Buffer's purpose is to automate your Social Media Planning, scheduling your posts and publishing your work in a most efficient way possible.

Overall: Super awesome easiest navigation of Social Media automation tool.

Pros: This is the social media mgmt software I use and recommend to clients. It makes managing multiple social media accounts and sharing with audiences super easy, without being complicated to operate.

Compared to similar tools, it has an easier user interface - so, it's easy to connect your preferred social platforms, easy to schedule/publish posts for specific times and attach images or links, and easy to manage or re-arrange your queue of schedule posts. Then, when you login to your social accounts, you can focus more on interacting with followers. If you do come across something you'd like to share, it's easy to click the Buffer icon and add it to your queue.

It works with pretty much all the social media platforms you'll need - Twitter, Facebook (pages and groups), Insta, Linkedin, Google+, and Pinterest. They've been improving their integration with Instagram, which was much needed.

The analytics can be as simple or as detailed as you like, letting you keep track of how your content is doing and how followers are interacting with it.

There's a free plan that lets you do quite a lot, but if you're going to get serious about managing your social content and tracking its success, go ahead and upgrade; it's worth it.

Cons: There's not much I don't like. As I mentioned, they've been making regular improvements to Instagram. I can't comment on the quality of their customer service as I've never needed to use it.

Pros: It's super easy and simple to use and to train in your team member. The drag-n-drop function is at ease to use, and the ability to send the same message over multiple platforms has saved us tons of times. The whole calendar is very straightforward (mentions, hashtags, word limits, time,..), exactly like posting on your own social media, but 4 at once within one click. The UX/UI design is also really great, we love seeing the empty spots on our calendar so we could fill in with best contents!

Cons: We have more than one brand to manage and each brand have about 4,5 social media accounts, so that really adds up on the bill! Also, for the price (that we have so many accounts), buffer doesn't go in-depth enough. Their analytic is a bit too simple, maybe suggesting us which post to recycles and best time to schedule?

Overall: It was a great experience when we have less than 10 brands to manage. We definitely recommend small businesses and small teams to consider Buffer as it's simple and very affordable with basic use.

Pros: Buffer's an excellent tool for startups when it comes to managing social media profiles. The scheduling feature is perfect for Instagram, and that's the tool that we use the most. Buffer schedules for all major social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, but still looking for Linkedin Integration, which I believe is on the roadmap for 2019. Buffer's UX/UI is dead simple, which makes navigating and posting a breeze. The engagement feature of replying and social listening makes Buffer a tool that's versatile for a brand that has multiple accounts and a lot of activity -- especially a use case like a restaurant or clothing brand where customers are prone to write negative reviews. Social listening on Buffer helps brands manage negative comments and reply to customers to win them back. Would highly recommend Buffer to any startup/company that is looking for a 360 view on their social media.

Cons: There's not much to dislike about Buffer. It's a great tool for social media management.

Overall: We've been using Buffer for years, and it's helped us manage social listening where we can pick up on negative comments/reviews quickly. There's a lot of tools out there already that do scheduling and that do social listening, but what's great about Buffer is that it does both. It's a handy tool and great for any company.

Pros: I love buffer! I have been using for several years now - and have taken it from one job to another. I think it is so simple, easy to use and really offers anything that a small business needs for social media management at an affordable price. It works perfectly for my needs and I love that you are now about to use with instagram.

Cons: This software definitely would not be sufficient for someone who gets a lot of engagement on social media because replies are not really managed through this platform. But our engagement is relatively low and is easily manageable without needing it in this tool.

Overall: I use Buffer to schedule and plan all of my social media content. I have a business account and I like being able to create drafts and work on posts together with teammates.

Pros: I use Buffer on a daily basis and love everything about it.

I can quickly whip up a post using Adobe Photoshop and then upload it into Buffer. Then, with Buffer, I can create some long-form copy for Facebook and Instagram. I'm easily able to add my hashtags to my Instagram post and keep them out of my Facebook post. I'm also able to put together some short-form copy suitable for Twitter and then upload this post to all three social media networks.

It's quite simple, really, but Buffer does everything I need and makes my life a lot easier.

Cons: Buffer has recently added the ability to tag other Facebook pages while making your post in Buffer, which is great. However, this isn't a perfect solution just yet. I've found that it is a little buggy and slow, but I'm sure with updates it will be fixed going forward!

Overall: I've saved plenty of time by using Buffer to create different variations for social media platforms.

Pros: Buffer is a software app for social media marketing management (scheduling posts, tracking historical data, planning social media editorial calendar etc) super-easy to setup and extremely efficient. The premium, so-called "Awesome plan", now "Pro Plan" comes at a very convenient rate and you can schedule up to 100 posts/tweets across 10 different social media profiles.

Cons: They've removed an extraordinary tool that was part of Buffer in the past: The Best Time to Post. This feature was able to track the best timings to schedule and post your social content posts, based on your audience and recent history. Buffer indicated that they had to give up on this function, in order to focus on other core-business areas more important for their software app; however, they've indicated some other apps/software able to do this.

Overall: Buffer is the top Social Media Management tool for everyone: from junior digital marketers, to experience Social Media Managers willing to maximize their efforts with a time & cost-effective solution. If you plan to work intensely on social media platforms (like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc), by using Buffer you will be able to reach targets / results otherwise impossible.

Pros: I like how Buffer is nearly automatic. You simply share an article or a post, etc., and Buffer gets it all ready to go live. You get the option to fine tune each post before submitting (fine tune the message for each social media platform).

Cons: It needs to be easier to customize your social message (share) according to the platform (LinkedIn vs. Facebook vs. Twitter vs. etc.) And if you are managing multiple accounts (if you're an agency, or your company has multiple accounts per platform), the default is to simply share the article/post/photo/video with basic text.

I can't say HOW it would work, but some sort of predictive text/AI/canned responses would be nice to help get your social sharing going in a customized fashion. As it is, when you click the "Buffer" share link, the only thing that pre-populates is the article's title, and usually the main photo.

So that DOES save time, but if you are using it right, you're probably going to be customizing each message on a per-platform basis anyways (so how much time does that really save?) The company to take it to the next level and semi-fully automate it will be the winner!

Overall: It makes it easier to manage your social media profiles, but it still takes work... it's not automatic!

Comments: I have individually used a FREE Buffer account for nearly 5 years to manage my Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts. As a free user, I'm limited to 10 updates in my buffer (Scheduler).

Pros: Free account: - Social networks include: Twitter, Facebook (profile, page, or group), Google+ (profile or page), LinkedIn (profile or page), and Instagram - User-friendly interface - Simple analytics dashboard - Offers to optimize your update schedule (Optimal Timing Tool) - Offers an easy image creation tool (Pablo) - Offers a browser extension & a mobile app for easier sharing (Power Scheduler)

Cons: Free account: - Social networks lack: Pinterest, LinkedIn group - Not a social monitoring tool - Limited to 10 updates in your Scheduler - Does not include RSS Feed, calendar

Recommendations to other buyers: I'd recommend Buffer as an entry point for people interested in social marketing. However, keep in mind that this is a scheduling tool... not a social monitoring tool. For those that would then like to step up their social marketing game, I'd then encourage exploring a social monitoring tool, too.

Pros: I've tried other social media auto posting tools, but I find the 'freemium' version of Buffer to meet all my basic needs. Buffer extension integrates well with Chrome, my preferred browser, and enables quick and effective scheduling of social posts. The built-in analytics are a standard feature that enable insights into post performance across your social accounts. Another useful companion app from the same developer is the 'Pablo' that enables to quick and easy creation of custom image tiles for social media use. Recommended if you are graphically-challenged, like me.

Cons: Periodically, Buffer will report (via email alerts) that it's unable to post to a social site. Typically, this is due to changes on the social sites, but Buffer will fix any compatibility issues promptly. Support for the free version is adequate for my needs, but other users may prefer the 'paid' version if they require more help and/or guidance.

Pros: Buffer is so easy to use, and it has great features like post analytics, the ability to add images, and post scheduling. I've used competitor products in the past, and Buffer is the hands-down winner when it comes to easy of use.

It's "sister" product, Pablo, allows me to create images with text that I can post via Buffer, which is a nice addition.

Overall Buffer is a great way to manage multiple social accounts on behalf of my clients at a very affordable price point.

Cons: The only downside of Buffer is that it doesn't have the ability to respond to social - so if you want to really build your following, you do have actually go into the social channels to retweet, repost or reply.

Overall: Buffer makes my life easier. I go in on Monday mornings and schedule my clients' posts for the week. In one hour, I've got enough content scheduled to make my clients look smart and active. Buffer also gives you great guidelines by keeping you top of changes in policy and by showing you which posts have been most sucsessful in the past. It's a great *BASIC* social media management tool.

Pros: I mainly use Buffer (free version) to schedule tweets and it works great. I switched to Buffer from HootSuite and it immediately impressed me. HootSuite is a bit difficult to use, but Buffer is spot on. It is easy as hell.

I use Buffer on my phone to schedule posts and it works like a charm. Its Chrome extension is indeed a life-saver. With Chrome extension, you can select any text on any web page and add it to your Buffer queue.

I just love this feature.

Cons: With free version, you can queue 10 tweets and when you are using Buffer on your mobile, it doesn't give you any alert when your queued is all filled. So when I have created a nice tweet and my queue is all filled up and I will add the 11th tweet to my queue, I will then get a message that my queue is filled (after all the hard work on my part has been done). This is kind of irritating. This alert should be sent when the queue is filled instead of when the 11th tweet is prepared and added to queue.

Overall: Love using Buffer. A great tool that will save your time, money, and more.

Comments: I highly recommend Buffer if you are looking for an effective scheduler for your social media contents and updates.

Pros: Well, digitization has opens the vast door to reach the correct audience. One of the best mode is through social media. It might be for our individual growth or for an organizational goal, the main challenge we comes across is scheduling the right content at the right time. Buffer's Power Extension has made it pretty simple, we can schedule blog posts and updates for a whole week and even for a month with a one go! just create your unique status and share it as many time as you want as per the traffic on those posts. Buffer's Browser Extension is a charm, you can install it in any browser for free. Just click on the Buffer's extension icon and it will share directly from the page you are on to all the saved accounts, if you want to change the structure, simply customize the extension from the setting panel. The built - in analytics works awesome! it gives you a clear view on your most effective contents and even guides to re-buffer it with the right audiance.

Cons: I really love this tool, but for integration with Instagram they ask for business profile, individual Instagram profile don't work, but no need to worry, they have provided a guide to switch from personal to business profile.

Pros: I've continually looked for a solution to make me better at posting to all my business's accounts across multiple platforms. When I found Buffer, it all clicked. I went from posting sparsely across a few platforms to being able to manager 3 companies Social media feeds with multiple posts a day. Buffer opened up the door for me to handle this.

Cons: The main Con is that it's too fast. What I mean by this is the initial settings wore me out trying to fill it. It delivers your posts so efficiently that I needed to step my game up quickly. I later learned that I could dial back the amount of posts in my Queue to make it possible to keep up. Since then I've been able to achieve the daily suggested posts as they were at the initial install.

Overall: My ability to create a very detailed Marketing Automation plan and execute it was only achieved after beginning to use Buffer. I would never consider myself a Social Media Expert, but since I started using this program, I've been called one. It's been an overall excellent experience.

I use Buffer to schedule tweets for the blog I manage. I access the site daily.

Pros: It automates something valuable to our site. We get a decent amount of traffic from Twitter, so we try to stay active on the platform, but having to do so manually AND regularly for each tweet is tedious. Buffer lets us schedule out 10 posts (we use the basic version) which usually sets us up for a couple of days at a time. The Report Card emails they send also give us a FANTASTIC idea of what kinds of posts are getting hits. That is by far my favorite feature.

Cons: The only thing that routinely frustrates me is when I take the time to write out a tweet only to hit Schedule and get told I'm at my limit. I realize that I can see the number of posts scheduled in the background, but the warning should come ahead of the attempt. Could even be spun into an encouraging popup instead of a prohibitive one. Would be as simple as saying "Congrats on filling out your Buffer queue!" instead of (loosely quoted) "You've filled your queue and cannot schedule anything further at this time."

Overall: Automates a process I'd have to do every day, several times a day. Super convenient.

Pros: Buffer is extremely easy to setup, so you can be up and running in no time. Another massive plus is the share extension for Google Chrome and Safari. It's fast and makes adding content for curation a breeze.

One more big win is the RSS feed integration for setting up a review queue.

Cons: I ended up leaving Buffer because of the pricing structure for plans. Even though Buffer is a great value, they have work to do in the pricing strategy as it jumps considerably between packages.

Pros: I like that it's easy to use, navigate and I liked using it for a couple of my clients as I work as a Social Media Manager and I've used it for many clients because it was cheap and it worked pretty good.

Cons: After using this software for over a year or so, I noticed that a few times, my post didn't get published and the software didn't even send notification to my email or phone and I didn't post anything to social media when I needed to. This started happening more often later on, and that is the reason I went looking for services that will not let me down in these situations.

Pros: I messed up big time when I first got buffer and ended up getting charged double. Completely my fault, but I FREAKED OUT. I was struggling financially and completely flipped out. The customer service was incredible - within an hour they'd sorted it all out (since I'm in a different time zone that's pretty amazing) and were so friendly even though I'd been a complete cow. Besides that - the functionality of the actual software is amazing. I love how my toolbar button lets me schedule great articles I come across all over the Web. The Instagram feature of finally being able to schedule and post without having to manually 'okay' it every time is great!

Cons: It would be great if they could 'loop' content for platforms like Pinterest where quantity is important. It's frustrating not being able to schedule the same thing more than once in a 4 week period.

Overall: The incredible customer support is something I'll sing from the rooftops over and over again. It's great knowing there are friendly humans available to make right whatever I did wrong. The amount of time it saves me to not manually post across my social media channels every day is HUGE.

Pros: You can connect to different social media profiles, create and schedule posts in one central location. This makes my life much easier as I won't need to open the different social media websites one by one, paste/edit the copy and upload the image/video manually and yet have to worry about when is the best publication time for which media. Buffer does it all.

Cons: The price always keeps going up. I have experienced price hike for 3 times for their monthly fee. However, as Buffer is such an indispensable tool, I would still renew my subscription.

Overall: If you have a website and would need to bring in traffic from all sources, Buffer is the way to go.

Pros: Buffer lets you schedule your social media posts ahead of time so as a company spread across different countries and timezones, it makes it very efficient for your social media team to be active during all times. We can integrate all of our the social media platforms Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Google Plus and schedule posts in different time zones.

I like that they send you emails with Report Cards giving you an idea of what kinds of posts are getting hits and helping us understand deeper insights into post performances across all of our channels. Their chrome extension is great! Buffer is quick and easy to collaborate on for our team. It helps us get our job done so we are very happy!

Pros: I love Buffer and use it almost daily for a number of my clients. There are three things that I like most about Buffer:

1) "Add to Queue" option, where they will automatically post it for you at the next most effective time

2) Clean chronological layout to see your social media schedule

3) Chrome Plugin for quick and easy schduling

Cons: Honestly, there isn't anything that I don't like about Buffer.

Overall: I suggest Buffer to all my clients as a social media scheduling platform. I find it is incredibly easy to use across many devices and includes a free analytics tool. Pros: Easy to use, fulfills an actual need in my content marketing system, very affordable.

Cons: I wish I could put duplicate content in the queue...

Overall: Buffer is awesome. I use it to manage like a dozen social media accounts, both Twitter and Facebook. It's nice because you can have various queues set up for your different accounts, and mark anything that you add to Buffer to go to specific accounts, so you can double dip your content if you want. And then have your content sent out at specific times, with images too. So it lets you "set it and forget it" for at least part of your content marketing.

Another awesome thing about Buffer is the integrations. With IFTTT or Zapier, I can connect Buffer to other programs. For example, if I tag an article in Pocket with "startup", the article is automatically added to my queue for my startup related Twitter. Boom, easy way to keep fresh content going out!

Recommendations to other buyers: The "Awesome Plan" is worth doing and all you really need.

Pros: As a side gig of being a Social Media Marketer and Manager, I always try to look for tools like this to make my job a little easier and alot more efficient for my clients business needs. The Buffer software helps you save time allowing you to basically buffer out content to your social medias, whether you are using twitter, facebook, instagram, pinterest, etc. It will let you schedule your posts for when you want them to go out at the tie you choose. I like Buffer because not only does it do the work for you, it also helps you create a strategy with your posts for success.

Another thing I like about Buffer, is that it has a feature where you can analyze the performance of your posts. So you have your very own analytics of how your posts are doing , how many people are viewing or clicking on your posts , engagement info, and more. This software lets you manage all of your social medias in one spot to share content when and whenever you want. One more thing that is pretty cool about this software, is that you can get started right away with their free plan which allows you 3 social accounts that you can manage, and schedule 10 posts per profile.

Cons: There's really not any cons, other than the fact that if you want more out of Buffer, you do have to pay for upgrades, which can optimize the effectiveness of your business needs when it comes to marketing and getting your content out to your audience in a sufficient and strategic way. It is definitely worth it for the amount of features this software provides for the free plan.

Pros: Just with a click, you can get your content posted and shared across several groups across social media. You can manage multiple social media accounts. Pros: I like the ease of use. I really like the feature that you can customize your content for each platform rather than having to upload the same piece of content different ways. I also like that you can post directly onto Instagram if you have an Instagram business account. It has an emoji keyboard and the ability to geotag Instagram posts. This software is simple to use for beginners.

Cons: It doesn't have an analytics function like Hootsuite, and you can't do hashtag research. It can also be clunky when posting to Instagram and doesn't always work. You need to check after you've posted to check it's gone through.

Overall: This is a user-friendly tool that is ideal for beginner social media managers or business owners who want to manage their social media profiles. You get up to 3 profiles connected on the free version, which is perfect if you don't use social media that much. Even the pro version is pretty affordable for smaller budgets.

Pros: Easy.

Affordable - I'm on the free account.

Well known; lots of resources for it like other 3rd party applications.

Cons: It does not do everything I want it to do, but there are no other social media management tools that do, so you can't hold that against Buffer at this stage.

Overall: It's important to state that I only know the software as a free user. I also use Hootsuite, but my preferred method of social media management is Buffer, although it does not offer everything I am looking for. If I could afford it, my choice of social media management would be MeetEdgar, but my business is not on that kind of scale yet and I can't afford it.

I use Bulk Buffer to upload bulk uploads, but the pain of it is that I have to go back to Buffer and upload images for each status. I don't know how the premium packages work, but on the free account, that is painful.

All in all, I recommend Buffer for the person starting out.

Recommendations to other buyers: Try it. Much easier to start and use than other tools and you don't have to study how it works, as you can figure it out pretty fast.

Pros: Dependability. I love that I can schedule all of my social media posts for the week and not have to think about it. Cons: There's not much that I don't like about Buffer. Especially not that they will automatically post to Instagram for you. That was a game changer for me, because I often overlooked the reminders it would send me to post to Instagram. They just keep improving before I have anything to complain about.

Overall: I've tried a lot of social media scheduling software and I've always come back to Buffer. It's the one of the best out there in my opinion. Especially for a small non-profit. Bonus points, they give subscription discounts to non-profits!!

Pros: The ability to post to social media when I'm actually online and researching great content - without carpet-bombing my social accounts - is a game-changer. Buffer allows me to drop a bunch of content in a bucket at once, and have that content drip out on a schedule over several days or weeks. It does all this with a clean, friendly interface on a generous free plan.

Cons: I really have no complaints about Buffer. Their free plan is great and I find it really easy to use. When I use Hootsuite I feel like I'm doing paperwork. That is - not great. When I use Buffer I feel little to no pain.

When pressed, I'd say Buffer can work TOO well. I forget what I've cued up for when and then things go out at times I may not be ready for. Someone may comment on a post and I'm nowhere to be found for a response. I don't feel this is unique to Buffer though - any auto-post tool can suffer this same fate.

Overall: Buffer enables me to keep a lively social presence without being online at all times. Because who wants to do that!

Pros: The problem Buffer solved was one of it's kind when it first arrived on the scene. It saved me days worth of time, money and stress in the chaotic social scene by being able to plan ahead and let it go. Since then, many similar other services have appeared offering the same solution. None of them though, offer the level of learning, advice and overall support Buffer does. Their commitment to educating users instills an unparalleled confidence in their business.

Cons: That they haven't yet managed to secure a partnership or arrangement with Instagram that would allow scheduling of Instagram posts too.

Overall: Buffer is my very own social media assistant, manager and mentor!

Pros: I love that every couple weeks, I can generate a bunch of Social Media posts, load them into Buffer.com and not have to think about that task again except to follow up on comments and engagement. Buffer makes this monumental task a breeze!

I also love that you can set the timing of the posts as well as re-arrange/scramble the posts for each platform. Super handy so that if you engage with people across those accounts, they can see different posts at different times, which makes it come across more organically.

Cons: Even though there is the opportunity to format your post for each SM platform, they still don't translate that well. Because IG is the pickiest of the SM platforms, I've used that format as my main guide, but IG posts don't fit the LinkedIn frame, and videos longer than 60 seconds won't post to IG as a video, only as a link.

And customer service is zero.

Overall: Even with horrid customer service (my pet peeve). The tool is VERY helpful, the free version allows up to 10 posts per platform (limited to 6 I think), which is a god-send from having to post daily on multiple platforms.

Pros: Buffer offers a visually appealing interface that allows you to schedule social media posts very easily. I love the simplicity of it. Besides, one of the great pros of Buffer is the wide range of integrations it has with different social media platforms, including Instagram which is a tough nut to crack as regards third-party integration. Buffer covers that and many more.

Another great thing about Buffer is its customer service. I have contacted them a few times and they took less than 24 hours to get back to me with a satisfying response which solved my problem. They are really nice and effective.

Finally, I should mention the feature to add RSS feeds which really eases the chore of filling every social account posting queue.

Cons: I really can't find much fault to this platform, but there was a smart scheduler which was discontinued (at least for the lowest-price subscription service) and it was a really useful functionality.

Overall: Easy-to-use social media scheduler.

Pros: Buffer is very user-friendly. Scheduling or rebuffering a post makes sharing across all forms of social media a breeze. The free version is just enough to get you hooked on the program. The first time I used it years ago, I was so impressed with how easy it was to learn and use that I immediately started pushing it to my clients. I love how easy it is to find a post and edit it if need be. Also, if you're just needing to push a post out sooner than usual, you can just hit the "publish now" button which is very handy.

Cons: I wish the free version offered a little more. However, it's free, so, you can't really complain. I believe the pricing is a bit high. My smaller clients are better able to use it in comparison with my larger clients. My larger clients seem too limited with Buffer, especially for the price so they end up moving to different programs such as Tailwind. However, many of my clients would stick with Buffer if there was more offered for the price they're paying. It seems Buffer has a lot of posts that have random errors on behalf of the software so they just don't ever get posted. This bug can be a little annoying at times.

Overall: Overall, despite the little bugs and pricing limitations, I absolutely love how easy Buffer is to use. The fact that it easy connects all forms of social media saves a ton of time and effort which is everything in my line of work.

Pros: Buffer is extremely easy to use, both on mobile and the desktop versions. I love that you can have tons of different platforms connected and choose which ones get what social posting you are working on. Pros: We are using Buffer Pro Plan about a year. Buffer helps to manage all our company social media account in one console. In the Pro plan, we are eligible to add a Facebook page, Facebook Group, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn Page, LinkedIn Profile, Google Plus, Google Plus Profile, Pinterest accounts.

Buffer saved our time to manage our company social media accounts. The main reason we are using Buffer is to schedule the post. Yes, Buffer has post scheduling options. For Pro Plan, we can Schedule up to 100 posts.

We can able to create the short link of our URL with UTM while posting.

Cons: - Only we can add 8 social media profile for the Pro plan.

- Pro Plan doesn't have Advanced social analytics.

Overall: Very easy to manage all the social media account at one console. Overall experience with buffer is awesome.

Pros: Even with a free account, lining up posts for the week is super easy. All platforms covered (relevant ones anyway) They DO have Instagram integration for business accounts. Customer service is fast. They make it a point to talk to you like they are an old college friend. The longest I have ever waited for a response on Twitter for help was MAYBE 5 minutes.

Cons: Everything I have ever had a problem with they address right away. Can't think of any cons. For real.

Overall: I use this for personal accounts and for work accounts. Multiple. It brings all of my work and personal things to an easy to use, manageable, mobile platform. It's a huge time saver. Huge.

Pros: The User Interface is pleasent and easy to use with little or no training. Scheduling posts across multiple platforms is great. With the iPhone app and the Safari extension, sharing posts is even easier and quicker as well.

Cons: There were a couple of features that I enjoyed, but are no longer supported (at this time anyway). One of those is the suggested posting times for each account. Buffer would analyze previous post engagement and offer suggest times. They no longer do this, but it's not a huge loss for me.

Overall: It's a huge time saver for a small business like ours where I am usually the only person managing multiple social media accounts.

Pros: The innovation. There is a lot of competition in the social media industry and there are a lot of scheduling products like Buffer. But they manage to stay ahead of the curve, always innovating to come up with new features, offerings, and complementing side products. So you can always be confident that you're using the best software with the latest technology. It makes content management a breeze! No more worrying about posting on time

Cons: There aren't many options between the free version and the pro version. A big jump but I believe they're fixing this so that's ruled out.

Overall: Between the informative blog posts, incredible customer service, and handy analytics, we've nailed our social media strategy and begun to see a improvement in engagement, audience growth, and revenue!

Pros: Buffer is a wonderful tool for scheduling, and spacing out, social media updates. It seems to work EVERYWHERE and 99% of what I share to the social networks is done via Buffer. It is easy to use and their support is outstanding!

Cons: About the only thing that I do not like about Buffer is that sometimes, for some reason, a post that you have created will fail to send. Now, if your social network connection needs to be refreshed, they will notify you of that. I have never been notified on a failed send and only see those when I go to the actual Buffer dashboard which is infrequently.

Overall: Buffer is just AWESOME!

Pros: I love Buffer! It allows me to post to social media when I'm nowhere near my phone or computer. It's like the slow cooker for your social media queue. It's easy to use and well worth the money.

Cons: They took away a feature I really liked called the optimal timing feature, which would help you set the times of your posts based on the most popular days/times to post. They also moved some features that were in the free version to the paid version.

Overall: I don't know if I could be without Buffer. I also love Pablo, their image tool, which is free. I use them both throughout my day every day, for both my social media and for clients.

Pros: Buffer is a blast to use, and it makes social posting easier without a doubt. When you add in the app and Chrome extension, you come away with the best way to efficiently update your social channels (in my opinion). I really enjoy the post reminders for Instagram too! Something that was not available in previous years on other platforms that I tried. Buffer can provide value for free users, but it is definitely well-worth the monthly subscription.

Cons: If I had to pick something, it would be that posts to Instagram cannot be published through the software. However, I realize this isn't necessarily something that is possible right now. Perhaps it will be in the future!

Overall: Efficient social posts, plus additional performance data. What more could you ask for?

Pros: Buffer invented the concept of a social "queue" and Chrome extension they've become the clear leader in the social publishing space.

They are also a great resource and thought leader on the strategy side of things.

Cons: I mainly use their calendar view, which still has some major bugs and will mess up every so often and they haven't been addressed still since it launched.

Pros: From the very beginning, Buffer has been an extremely user-friendly, clean and powerful tool. The best thing about it is the evolving nature of it - there are always new features coming down their pipeline and many of the things I once wished for became product features already. Power Scheduler that you get through Chrome plugin is an extra bonus point - no need to log into the web interface of the tool - just click a button from within the page you're currently viewing and a little pop-up lets you schedule sharing of this link within your schedule or for custom recurring times in the future.

Cons: It used to give you more on a free plan. Now you really would want to get the Awesome plan. You can't schedule posts directly into Instagram (limitation of Instagram itself), Buffer will ping you with a push notification and will make the posting just a one-tap action but it's just not a fully autonomous process

Pros: I use buffer as a social media manager solely to post on Twitter. This software makes the process extremely easy, and I love having the ability to set consistent times to post for each day of the week.

Cons: Being able to delete timeslots would help tremendously! There have been days where I've scheduled something close to another timeslot (or moved a tweet from a different day) and it would be nice not to have to see it anymore, but that's being very picky. This is a great software.

Pros: If social media isn't exactly a priority in your marketing efforts, Buffer's $10/month Awesome plan is plenty. Aside from Buffer's great user interface, Awesome gets you access to their scheduling calendar view, which is a great way to granularly manage your posting schedule. You can also just throw posts into a queue and they'll automatically fire according to the weekly schedule you've set. Easily recommend.

Cons: I question the accuracy of the analytics. We had a Buffer for a Business plan for a few months, and when I compared the metrics Buffer provided to those of the actual social platforms, they usually didn't line up. It's possible that this has been addressed since I switched plans, however.

Pros: I like that Buffer is easy to use. I used a few social media scheduling tools in the past, but none of them really had a decent user interface. As soon as I tested out Buffer, I knew I wanted it for my business. I paid for a year upfront and have been using the software for 2 years.

I like that it recommends the best posting times, and scheduling content into the platform is very easy. I can set up a whole month of content in an hour. I've trained my virtual assistant to use the software, and even she enjoys using it (she doesn't usually pick up on how to use tech tools as quickly as she did with Buffer).

So it's also very good for those who may not be confident with using social media tech.

Cons: I'm sad that they don't have an affiliate programme. I also heard a rumour that product development isn't happening much anymore. But I don't know how true that is.

Pros: Our biggest need is something to save time posting all social media accounts at once. This plus simple analytics in one place saves time and makes it easier to post content consistently. Buffer does these things at a very reasonable yearly cost. We specifically knew that we didn't need solutions that have tons of features and costly, so we are glad that Buffer fits the features and pricing for our needs.

Cons: The price for the base plan of Buffer is great and part of why we like it. I wish they allowed a few more social media accounts than the 12 maximum in that plan. The next tier up for 25 accounts is 10x the price of the base plan. That said, this isn't a huge deal and for us, part of the reason we chose Buffer was that we wanted something simple that didn't cost hundreds of dollars a month.

Overall: Buffer lets us focus on our content instead of spending time visiting each social media platform to share it.

Pros: Easy to set up and add accounts, easy to obtain articles from the web and great customer services. Buffer have really thought about the design and if steps aren't needed they are removed. For example, when adding a new time to a posting schedule there's no need for a save button, so there isn't one. Just add the new time and you're done.

Pros: Buffer is extremely easy to use, so especially if you're a marketing newbie, this is the tool for you. They even tell which of your updates did great on social (their 'Top tweet' feature) which can give you some hints on the direction of your social media marketing strategy. I also really like how engaged Buffer's staff is in building the marketing community - just take a look at their blog!

Cons: I wish they would integrate their other tools such as Pablo better in their main app, so it would be easier to use them.

Pros: User Interface is super awesome.

Post Scheduling and the Delivery rate is extremely good.

You can even schedule Instagram posts now.

Cons: Reach on Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram is quite low when you post via 3rd party apps like buffer.

More multimedia option should be provided. Like for eg: posting a gif is quite hard.

Overall: If you are a Digital Marketer or an online page manager who dont want to waste time on posting at multiple places, Buffer is the solution you need.

Now even you can schedule posts on Instagram via Buffer, what can be better than this.

Pros: Among other great features, one thing I love more about buffer is the fact that I can customize posts for each account right from the dashboard. I could add different hashtags or mentions to Instagram and Twitter before posting.

I also love the fact that there is WordPress plugin that will send posts to my social media accounts anytime i post on my WordPress websites

Cons: When i started using this software, i had a challenge of disconnection. After granting the app access to my social media acctounts, access will be denied after sending a post and i would need to reconnect the app with my social media accounts again. This usually hapens with facebook and istagram

Overall: Using Buffer is a wholesome experience and i doubt i can find a replacement soon. I actually tried searching for better alternatives but had to stick with Buffer cause it serves me well.

Pros: I've used a number of social media software for scheduling from moderately expensive that came with tons of features to lower priced plans that were a little slim on the extras. Buffer is the first software I've found that's super easy to use, integrates with Feedly seamlessly and makes posting to social media a breeze. Because I'm not jumping through hoops, moving from one screen to the next, like with some software, my posting speed has increased considerably. Scheduled posts are nice and large in the dashboard which makes them easy to edit, reschedule or switch out images. The price is great, too.

Cons: The quality that makes Buffer so awesome is that they do one thing very well scheduling. Unfortunately, this means that you miss out on some of the bells and whistles that come with some of the "all in one" software. Don't look for fancy reports, stats or social media engagement info because you won't find it. If you need any of that data, you'll have to find them the old-fashioned way.

Overall: Buffer has been by far the easiest social media scheduler I've ever used, and I've tried many. It has increased my posting speed time which has opened up more time for me to focus on other projects.

Comments: Great for planning post in the future. It gives you the ability to have a marketing plan and see the results of a campaign.

Pros: I normally put together ads for my company in advance. I love that I can put them into Buffer and set up times for each of the ads in the different social media sites. I even get an email telling me that a post has been made successfully. If I have something I need to post right away that option is available too. I also love looking at the analytics. The analytics allows me to see the type of ads work the best.

Cons: I would love if I could have the sign on to my GSuite account. Other than having a separate log in I have no cons to Buffer.

Pros: Easy to use, able to schedule any day at any time

Overall: I use buffer both professionally and personally. It is the best way to optimize and schedule your posts. I am able to set it and forget it. Out of all the social media scheduling software available, I have found this one to be the most useful. I have never had a post fail or post at an incorrect time. It is user-friendly and simple to learn and use. It is a great value for the money. I am able to get real-time analytics of my posts which help me gauge what is hitting the right nerve with potential leads. I have been able to increase my following and post for my business even when I am not in the office. This allows my organization to stay on top of mind with our customers.

Recommendations to other buyers: The ability to post pictures and use their Pablo software alongside to find free for commercial use photos is a god sent!

Pros: With this application and excel, I am the master of social networks, with excel I create a spreadsheet with my publications, in them I include, link to the photograph, date, text, times of publication, hashtags, links and other beautiful things. Buffer helps me by publishing according to my file, YEAH!!

Cons: The length of the texts sometimes changes, that is to say the number of characters and my twits are not written complete when I reach the limit, also sometimes I have problems with the video, something I could fix with Zapier and some tricks. If this application were free, it would be ground gold, but the good stuff costs.

Pros: The slick website. The Buffer dashboard is fast and powerful. The customer support is incredibly awesome and they're spread everywhere - Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, whatnot.

Cons: Native apps are not available and that is a huge disappointment. It would be very thoughtful if they ditch their web-app-only approach and make native apps for computers too.

Overall: Social media reach has grown immensely with updates being spread on a timely basis. Analytic from Buffer is very powerful too and shows me how my posts have reached to my audience.

Cons: Buffer is unable to do a lot of stuff essential to our social media workflow:

- It can't post as Facebook albums or other advanced post types.

- It can't schedule Instagram posts.

- It can't post Instagram stories.

Pros: I love the ability buffer gives the user to schedule RTs - I'm not aware of anything else that enables you to do this. I like the user interface too.

Cons: I find the shortening of links in tweets on buffer frustrating. You used to be able to 'unshorten' links much more easily, however now this is much harder to undo and the links are sometimes automatically reshortened after you've hit 'schedule'. As a result I've found that I now use buffer for twitter less.

Pros: Personally, I use it for making posts on Facebook. It gives the ability to edit how a link to a blog post on our website will look, change the capture and upload the new image. That's what I was looking for. Also, I schedule posts for all other social networks and it always works.

Cons: When I make a post on facebook and immediately delete it (because smth looks like I didn't expect), it doesn't allow me to make this post again, need to wait for an hour. Hate this.

Vendor Response

Hi, there! Thank you for your honest feedback. I understand that having to wait an hour to re-schedule a similar post is frustrating. In case it's helpful to know, I believe this is to prevent our users from accidentally triggering any spam flags from the social media platforms, which could lead to suspension from the platforms. That said, I'm feeling we could maybe make the experience a bit better. Thank you for the nudge!

Pros: What I like most about Buffer is the friendliness of the platform, added to the pleasant visual quality that they offer to manage the accounts that any person manages. For me, time is important because of the jobs I have, buffer offers me the possibility of managing the personal and work accounts I have on social networks with higher quality. Instagram is a headache for those of us who work in this field, because there are few platforms that help you publish, with buffer that is a thing of the past. Widely recommended.

Cons: I am very satisfied with this platform, so rating negatively is unfair. They could improve their advertising campaign to make themselves known with new users who do not know her.

Overall: I save a lot of money with its free version, and its plans are manageable for those of us who work online. Automation is an added value that I look for in the platforms and the buffer it offers in an incredible way. If you carry your social networks in a disorderly manner, this software can help you.

Pros: Buffer does exactly what it claims to do - allow you to more easily manage your social media accounts and spend less time updating them individually. It's a simple premise for a service, but one that's very useful and helps save a ton of time. Buffer not only makes this painless, but gives you a ton of scheduling features and options on top of that.

Cons: The pricing on Buffer premium is pretty high. I can see it being worth the investment for bigger social media presences, but for low to mid-tier personalities, small business, or just individual users, I don't see a need to spend so much on Buffer when the basic features would do just fine.

Also, if you're scheduling a post for multiple services at once and include Twitter, you will be subject to Twitter's character limit. Similar restrictions also apply for other services. While understandable, I still wish there was some kind of solution for this.

Overall: I've used Buffer to handle all of my major social media updates; whenever I have an important piece of news that I want to bring to my followers, regardless of where they engage with my content, Buffer is the obvious choice.

I can't even imagine how many cumulative hours I've saved using Buffer to schedule one post where I would have otherwise needed to schedule 3 or more separate updates, all with the same information. Because of that, I'd argue it's almost essential for anyone that needs to update multiple accounts frequently.

Pros: What I like most about Buffer is its ability to get extra visibility and attention for content without extra effort.

By batch processing my content promotion with Buffer I have more time available to invest into producing more content.

Ultimately thanks to Buffer I have better results with my content marketing overall.

Cons: What I like least about Buffer is the inability to schedule recurring evergreen content. There are quotes I'd like to share on a repeating basis however in order to do so I need to continually re-post them via buffer and this is a time drain that I would rather avoid. In the past I have used the tool Tweet Jukebox as a way to solve this issue.

If it was possible to auto-buffer new WordPress posts that would be awesome too. A Buffer WordPress plugin would be a cool way to do this.

Cons: If a post goes out and needs to be edited or deleted, you can't do that through Buffer. Google plus does allow for you to delete through Buffer, but not edit.

Overall: I love using Buffer to balance all of my social media posts for 5 platforms. Overall it's been very easy to use and schedule everything. The only downfall is you can't go back through and edit a post once it has been posted through Buffer, you have to go to the actual social media platform, which can be time consuming.

Pros: 1. It's free if only use 3 social media platforms to schedule posts (can post 10 posts per social media platforms); if it's the paid version, I like it charges way cheaper than other similar apps even their functions are similar. 2. Everything on the buffer is clear and very easy to use, which really save a lot of time. 3. It let you the specific district (timezone) and suggest you select some good posting time for reaching out most visitors.

Cons: Sometimes, the notification function didn't work on time. The bug sometimes comes out that Buffer directly post tomorrow's post on today when you have a lot of posts in the queue. What's more, the report in the paid version didn't really reflect some useful or meaningful data.

Overall: Save time on scheduling all the posts for all different social media platforms; learn which time frame is good for posting in reaching more visitors; Its link-shorten option automatically helps figure out the words limit in Twitter to a degree.

Pros: Easily post the same content (or slight variation of it) on multiple social media platforms.

Queue posts for later posting according to a custom schedule.

Chrome extension to easily add links to your queue.

It does one thing, and does it well.

Cons: Can't manage other social media aspects such as messaging nor comments.

Overall: Buffer is my go-to tool to schedule social media posts for clients. It allows you to easily add posts to a queue and then post them at pre-defined (or custom) intervals on different social media platforms. We currently use it to schedule posts for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and allows you to customize posts for each network and attach photos or links in a proper manner.

You may need other tools to handle social media interactions such as messages or comments. For post scheduling, Buffer is the best tool out there.

Pros: I like having the ability to schedule social media posts to any platform in any time schedule I choose. 'Re-buffering' make it easy to repost things, and the simple analytics makes it easy to see what social content is the most popular.

Cons: Sometimes my social accounts disconnect and I have to re-enable them, but that's about it.

Overall: Simple and easy to use, I've been using it for many brands that I run and usually spend 30 minutes a week filling up my buffer to schedule social campaigns.

Hi, there, thank you for the kind review. I'm glad that you like our "Re-buffer" feature; it's a favorite for many. I'm sorry about the occasional social account disconnection. That could be because the login details to the social account have changed or because the access token required by the social media platform has expired. Thanks for bearing with us on that. -Alfred

Pros: Easy to use, able to schedule a complete day's worth of content for all of your social media channels. Being able to handle Facebook, Instagram and Twitter all at once makes things insanely easy

Cons: It would be nice to have additional social media options, such as SnapChat, etc. but that's a minor complaint. No issues with the operating system

Overall: Being able to organize and coordinate the newspaper's plan for social media

Pros: Buffer is very similar to many social media suite products in that you can easily post to several accounts at the same time. Linking the individual accounts to your main Buffer account is pretty straightforward (and you may become accustomed to the action of re-connecting the accounts often). The internet browser plug-in allows you to easily post everything from images and articles to entire web pages directly to your social media accounts. Much easier than copy-and-pasting urls and links into a suite platform in order to mention/comment/etc.

Cons: As noted above, I've struggled with my accounts staying linked/synced to the main business account. Additionally, the interface on the software can be difficult to navigate at times, and it's difficult to find help areas/assistance as to where you should be looking to find additional functionality. Scheduling posts in advance can also be problematic if you're utilizing some of the API connections that are automatically generating content for your social media account as you typically end up with a lot of stock content filling your social media accounts.
