### "Buffer saves me time!"

September 1, 2022

5.0

Pros

Buffer is by far the best scheduling tool I've come across, it has all the nitty gritty features that a modern scheduling tool should have; from analytics to feed preview. I'm in love with Buffer!

Cons

As far as the cons are concerned, there are none!

### "Stay at the top of newsfeeds"

April 9, 2020

5.0

Overall I enjoy buffer, it gets the job done. You're able to manage multiple accounts and its easy to toggle between them. I just with customer service was more responsive.

Pros

It does what it claims! You can schedule posts to a myriad of social accounts, and you can even add the first comments. It's a simple set up and a great dashboard to see your upcoming social calendar. As a marketing company it's something that we can use both internally and customers feel comfortable using.

Cons

Scheduling with IG can be difficult and it will unlink your account with no warning. Customer service definitely needs a revamp, they're not very helpful and have found if I want to get something done I have to tweet at them.

### "Great Tool for Social Media Marketers"

November 12, 2019

5.0

I've had a great experience with Buffer. It saves me a lot of time, and I would definitely recommend it to other small business owners.

Pros

I love that Buffer is very easy to use. There is no learning curve. You can sign up and start using it right away. Buffer is great for saving time and helping to get results from social media without investing loads of time.

Cons

There's not much I don't like about the software. I use it to schedule my social posts and it works well. I guess the only thing I don't like is that the images in tweets don't lead to the source. If you click the image it just opens the image in its own tab.

Reason for choosing Buffer

Ease of use, price

### "So helpful!"

October 6, 2020

5.0

I am so grateful that Buffer gave me a clearer view of our gaps with Social Media and I can have the peace of mind knowing when posts are scheduled in advanced.

Pros

I am new to project communications and Buffer has made staying on top of all the various social media platforms so much more doable! I like that they recommend specific posting times for each platform. They have a nifty Campaign feature that makes tracking specific types of post so much easier.

Cons

I understand this is due to instagram's limitations rather than Buffer's, but I don't like how if your Instagram post has more than 1 photo, you need to manually post it via Buffer's "reminder" rather than the automatic post it can do if you only have 1 photo you are posting. You also lose the ability to tag profiles if you post more than one picture. Within Buffer, I also would like to be able to have one screen to post the same type of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter post. This way, you would not have to copy and paste your caption and hashtags three seperate times if you are posting the same content on multiple profiles. Currently, you need go to each profile on Buffer to make that same post.

### "The ultimate automated social media manager"

July 26, 2019

5.0

I use Buffer for improving my own personal social media profiles, as well as scheduling posts for our clients. It is a flexible tool that can be used by most social media and marketing teams.

Pros

Buffer makes life easier in posting and measuring content on social media. I love how I can put posts in the hopper and have them automatically scheduled out in a nice, even stream.

Cons

The only thing I can complain about is every once in a while my LinkedIn account gets disconnected and I need to reauthorize it. Other than that, this software has everything!

### "Buffer has made scheduling social media posts a breeze!"

November 14, 2017

5.0

Buffer has been by far the easiest social media scheduler I've ever used, and I've tried many. It has increased my posting speed time which has opened up more time for me to focus on other projects.

Pros

I've used a number of social media software for scheduling from moderately expensive that came with tons of features to lower priced plans that were a little slim on the extras. Buffer is the first software I've found that's super easy to use, integrates with Feedly seamlessly and makes posting to social media a breeze. Because I'm not jumping through hoops, moving from one screen to the next, like with some software, my posting speed has increased considerably. Scheduled posts are nice and large in the dashboard which makes them easy to edit, reschedule or switch out images. The price is great, too.

Cons

The quality that makes Buffer so awesome is that they do one thing very well scheduling. Unfortunately, this means that you miss out on some of the bells and whistles that come with some of the "all in one" software. Don't look for fancy reports, stats or social media engagement info because you won't find it. If you need any of that data, you'll have to find them the old-fashioned way.

### "My Social Media Companion "

December 29, 2018

5.0

Using Buffer is a wholesome experience and i doubt i can find a replacement soon. I actually tried searching for better alternatives but had to stick with Buffer cause it serves me well.

Pros

Among other great features, one thing I love more about buffer is the fact that I can customize posts for each account right from the dashboard. I could add different hashtags or mentions to Instagram and Twitter before posting. I also love the fact that there is WordPress plugin that will send posts to my social media accounts anytime i post on my WordPress websites

Cons

When i started using this software, i had a challenge of disconnection. After granting the app access to my social media acctounts, access will be denied after sending a post and i would need to reconnect the app with my social media accounts again. This usually hapens with facebook and istagram

### "Super Buffer"

December 18, 2022

Often some bugs, but Buffer saves me a lot of time, it allows me to manage the different accounts of our customers in a fast and intuitive way buffer meets our requirements.

Pros

Buffer is great social media marketing software. This software caters excellently for those who want to navigate between multiple social media accounts and follow them from one place. With Buffer we no longer need to switch between different social media accounts.

Cons

Buffer Analyze is a bit too basic in my opinion. He can often have a problem with InstagramArbitrary character limits for Facebook, Twitter.

### "Community Manager Easy"

Pros

It allows you to easily organize daily publications on your social networks. By programming publications per hour allows us to save a lot of time that can be used for another activity, it is ideal to advertise the activities of your company or enterprise. By programming each publication per hour and in each social network, the application is responsible for doing the work for you. It is available for Android and iPhone allowing access to the app anywhere and anytime.

Cons

It can present problems with hashtag, disorganizing them. The publications in instagram are not entirely automatic, you have to monitor them and confirm the app so you can publish

### "Simplify Your Social Media Management"

February 16, 2023

5.0

Overall, Buffer is a fantastic social media management tool that can help businesses of all sizes to streamline their social media efforts. The intuitive interface, powerful features, and robust integrations make it a top choice for many marketers and businesses. While the pricing structure can be a bit steep, the benefits of using Buffer may well outweigh the costs for many organizations.

Pros

Buffer is a powerful social media management tool that makes it easy to schedule, publish, and analyze content across all of your social media accounts. The interface is clean and easy to use, with a simple drag-and-drop scheduling system that allows you to quickly plan out your content calendar. Buffer also integrates with a wide variety of other tools and platforms, allowing you to easily connect your social media efforts with your other marketing initiatives.

Cons

One potential downside of Buffer is that it can be expensive, particularly for larger teams or organizations. While the basic plan is reasonably priced, the more advanced plans can quickly add up in cost. Additionally, while Buffer offers a variety of useful features, it may not be the best fit for every business, particularly those with very specific or complex social media needs.

### "The best there is"

May 5, 2020

5.0

It's a great website to use for managing a lot of social media. Totally worth it.

Pros

Buffer lets you schedule posts across multiple social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. There is a free version but you can get more features the more you pay. I think the basic paid plan is the best value, but it depends on what you need. One of the best things is the way it posts pictures and videos natively to Twitter, rather than posting links.

Cons

You can't seem to add subtitles to Facebook when scheduling, which is a problem. You have to wait for it to post, go in and edit it on Facebook, and add subtitles.

### "Free Version was extremely useful"

July 14, 2020

4.0

Buffer makes posting to different social medias (an essential activity now since many people only use one or the other and post times on different platforms maximize reach) a snap by creating one post and being able to instantly schedule it on multiple platforms without leaving the app or recreating the post multiple times. I can't say how helpful this is. If you use social media, and you definitely should if you aren't, you should absolutely use this instead of spending your hours making the same post multiple times and travelling across multiple pages and logins to do something you could just do in buffer with one swoop.

Pros

Easily post across platforms Synchronize posts or plan different timing Works in conjunction with other apps Schedule posts so content creation can occur in the middle of the night, but launch 2 days later without having to remember to get to your system to post

Cons

Free version had some restrictions on amount of platforms, but not a hindrance to me since I only used 3 at the time I found myself getting confused about the posting process more than once, but that may have just been me. UI and process could have been more simplistic though

### "This is very easy to manage tool that fulfills all your necessity for posting and scheduling content"

July 19, 2018

Pros

It is very affordable and easy to use tool . It helps me automatically to fill the content with the facility of sharing content over all the platform. I can also use all the social profiles at one time by using only buffer. We can also program the posts to post it automatically over all social media platforms.

Cons

It doesn't go well with the Instagram platform. And each time we have to add member , we have to pay extra for adding up each member.

### "Buffer — An affordable social media manager"

September 26, 2020

4.0

For the most part, Buffer is a great social media manager. They have an affordable option for smaller accounts and continue to innovate in tight competition which is why I stick with them.

Pros

Buffer's clean interface makes it easy to use with multiple accounts all on one dashboard. The built-in analytics is a nice feature for a quick glance at the reach of multiple posts. They are continually updating with changing APIs and the new Campaign feature looks promising.

Cons

The latest update is growing on me, but it still has a few flaws. One huge one is that the default view is by "Day" and when you click on week or month it opens new windows without navigation back to the main tab. It's still manageable, but really annoying. The price structure is okay. Most peers in my world opt for the cheaper Pro account rather than doling out $65-99/mo for larger teams.

### "A social media manager's dream"

April 12, 2019

5.0

I have several business and need to manage their social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. It's no easy feat, bit with Buffer I can significantly reduce my time spent on social media so I could focus on my work and more interesting parts of customer service and content management.

Pros

How easy it is to schedule tweets, Facebook and LinkedIn post.

Cons

The pricing plans are not fairly distributed with the most interesting features being hidden behind the most expensive plan that cost to much for a one-man/woman business.

### "Daily Use tool"

November 21, 2018

5.0

I use this for my own business to push out content. I also use it for a few clients to push out their content to their social media platforms. I've used their Customer Service and they are fast and friendly.

Pros

I love that it's simple. I love that I can push out to SM platforms and not have to actually go into those platforms. I also like that it integrates with Feedly, my reader tool. And, there's a Chrome plugin.

Cons

The user interface is a little dated looking and sometimes the "queue" ends up getting wonky.

### "Buffer automates many parts of social media posting"

June 27, 2018

4.0

Pros

It's a nice piece of software. I like the fact we can schedule many social media posts in advance. It's reliable. The Chrome extension will be useful to grab interesting content that we come across and post it in our social media pages.

Cons

Buffer is unable to do a lot of stuff essential to our social media workflow: - It doesn't support posting to Instagram business profiles. - It can't post as Facebook albums or other advanced post types. - It can't schedule Instagram posts. - It can't post Instagram stories.

### "What i think of buffer"

January 26, 2020

Buffer has made my post automation easier. The only problem i have with buffer is their pricing.

Pros

Buffer make my marketing efforts much easier. There is also a free plan for basic usage. It has a very nice UI. Scheduling posts are easy

Cons

Its pricing is quite expensive. There are similar products out there with cheaper prices I experience some issues while scheduling posts. The amount of posts that csn be scheduled on the free plan is limited.

### "Economical Alternative to Hootsuite"

February 6, 2019

4.0

I like Buffer - it's clean, modern looking, and inexpensive. It isn't perfect, but if you just need something to unify most of your social posting under one platform, then you can't go wrong with Buffer.

Pros

Buffer hooks into the typical suite of social media platforms and does a good job (for the most part) of enabling you to pre-schedule posts and look at the analytics that result from those posts. The interface is super clean and intuitive which I believe, along with its price point, are Buffer's two main advantages vs. Hootsuite.

Cons

While I don't have a lot negative to say about Buffer, I do find it annoying that the connection to LinkedIn breaks on a semi-frequent basis, requiring a re-configuration. This can be particularly frustrating if you've scheduled social posts to go out only to find that they did not because LinkedIn has become disconnected. In addition, posting content on LinkedIn through Buffer is worse than posting directly from within LinkedIn because any image you post will only link to the image file and not to the CTA link in your post. For this reason, we still post LinkedIn sponsored content from directly within LinkedIn.

I has made my job easier and also has helped me save a lot of time when it comes to social networking,

Pros

It allows to schedule posts on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Google+. You can even schedule the same post to be published several times and it saves you a lot of work. This is a must app if you're a community manager.

Cons

Still not supporting Instagram posting and that is a big flaw. It only support one account (of each social network) at a time in the free version.
