It allows me to create short and easy to create webpage which I can use to drive traffic to my social media platforms which is really awesome! Also its analytics as well as engagement feature is also good. Cons It does not have an integration with one of the most used social media platform- Instagram, which is disappointing for me as I am a frequent user of it. Also Buffer is not as customizable as other social media management tools. Made it possible for me to deliver LinkedIn scheduling automation to a client. Pros I am actually a paid user of Later. However, when setting up a social media management service for a client, I needed to schedule posts for LinkedIn, which is not possible with Later. Therefore I recommended to my client to use Buffer and that's why I used it. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use. The biggest plus was having LinkedIn function and also the scheduler for Instagram was instant. Cons There wasn't anything not to like. What was missing for me is the feature Later has which is the Linkin.bio, otherwise Buffer would have had the upper hand because it also had LinkedIn scheduling. It's helpful that each of my social channels is organized and that I can easily check on and off if I want the post to go to that channel or not. Cons It is difficult to switch accounts on Buffer, you need to log in and out, when you should be able to do a quick switch. It would also be nice to be able to schedule more than 10 posts in advance. Cons I recently decided to switch to a different software since Instagram has gained more importance for several brands I work with, Buffer does not allow for auto posting on Instagram which is a disadvantage on busy days when I'm relying on it to get my posts up on time without me having to worry about it. I wasn't a big fan of its big brother Hootsuite as it's more complicated, but Buffer was simply perfect for my use. You can connect all major accounts to it and schedule everything. Pros I still use the free version of Buffer which has a web based and mobile app with a very fair ammount of account onboarding. The user interface is very easy to use with suggested posting times included even in the free version. This would take Buffer to the next level from good to great. It is attractive the possibility of not having to be online all the time. Pros One of the key uses is for Pre-Scheduling Posts for social media. Also great when used for organizing content for social media. Other great tool is the easy posting without the need to be online. Cons On the downside, I experienced some trouble when doing the configuration with Facebook. Also, if this soft would have different layout views, it would be extremely helpful. I love that it allows you see scheduled posts in a calendar view and that you can easily view analytics of your posts. Cons Unfortunately Buffer's free version is pretty limited in the number of social media accounts that can be used. I'm looking forward to experiencing the paid version soon.
