### "Easy to use social media scheduler"

I use Buffer to both schedule our regular posts (website pages, blogs, YouTube videos, etc.) and add off-the-cuff posts. This means that I can create my schedule for months in advance when I have time and just leave it running without having to break into the time I need for my other work responsibilities every few hours to get something posted to our social accounts.

Pros

Buffer is so easy to use, I just set up my schedule and started adding things to it. The posts went out and looked perfect. I use it to schedule posts for three of our business accounts and am able to easily set up our regular posts for months in advance. It makes my work life so much less stressful. The browser extension also makes it really easy to add a new post from our blog or news sites with just a couple clicks. Being able to schedule my retweets as well means that I can easily keep track and when and who I am retweeting.

Cons

I do wish that I could schedule posts with gifs in them...I do love using gifs and am hoping that Buffer will be adding this soon.

Hi, there, thanks for the kind review. I wish we could schedule GIFs too! It's currently possible to schedule GIFs to Twitter and Pinterest and not for Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn (as we are quite limited by what they allow us to do). Hopefully that'll change soon. -Alfred

It's drastically solid and has a pretty competitive interface. The cost is quite accessible and without a doubt it works wonders. It is quite advisable to easily govern the social media accounts of your consumers or organization. In addition, it also allows us to connect to different platforms, generate and plan publications in a central space.

Pros

What fascinates me most about this tool is that scheduling posts was simpler on our own different social media accounts. I like the exams that this application gives, which are very useful and also to see the performance of each publication.

Cons

In my daily use, we ourselves have the possibility of mentioning that we have not found this product to fail because for ourselves it is quite useful and that Buffer also allows us to generate and develop content/publication for various social network accounts.

I use Buffer to schedule and plan all of my social media content. I have a business account and I like being able to create drafts and work on posts together with teammates.

Pros

I love buffer! I have been using for several years now - and have taken it from one job to another. I think it is so simple, easy to use and really offers anything that a small business needs for social media management at an affordable price. It works perfectly for my needs and I love that you are now about to use with instagram.

Cons

This software definitely would not be sufficient for someone who gets a lot of engagement on social media because replies are not really managed through this platform. But our engagement is relatively low and is easily manageable without needing it in this tool.

Overall it's a good software for beginners and easy to use, however fixing the minor reconnecting issue would really be ideal.

Pros

I loved being able to schedule multiple posts for the month together, as well as having them published automatically.

Cons

I didn't like that it asked me to reconnect social media profiles so often.

Buffer is ok but to me is missing features. Most photos have to be cropped and it doesn't do it automatically for example.

Pros

The calendar where I can schedule all the posts and see the whole month laid out is my favorite feature.

Cons

That Instagram doesn't cross post to Facebook when you schedule with Buffer so if I want to post on both I have to pay double.

### "Buffer Makes Social Media Simple"

I've saved plenty of time by using Buffer to create different variations for social media platforms.

Pros

I use Buffer on a daily basis and love everything about it. I can quickly whip up a post using Adobe Photoshop and then upload it into Buffer. Then, with Buffer, I can create some long-form copy for Facebook and Instagram. I'm easily able to add my hashtags to my Instagram post and keep them out of my Facebook post. I'm also able to put together some short-form copy suitable for Twitter and then upload this post to all three social media networks. It's quite simple, really, but Buffer does everything I need and makes my life a lot easier.

Cons

Buffer has recently added the ability to tag other Facebook pages while making your post in Buffer, which is great. However, this isn't a perfect solution just yet. I've found that it is a little buggy and slow, but I'm sure with updates it will be fixed going forward!

### "A great way to manage your social presence!"

It makes it easier to manage your social media profiles, but it still takes work... it's not automatic!

Pros

I like how Buffer is nearly automatic. You simply share an article or a post, etc., and Buffer gets it all ready to go live. You get the option to fine tune each post before submitting (fine tune the message for each social media platform).

Cons

It needs to be easier to customize your social message (share) according to the platform (LinkedIn vs. Facebook vs. Twitter vs. etc.) And if you are managing multiple accounts (if you're an agency, or your company has multiple accounts per platform), the default is to simply share the article/post/photo/video with basic text. I can't say HOW it would work, but some sort of predictive text/AI/canned responses would be nice to help get your social sharing going in a customized fashion. As it is, when you click the "Buffer" share link, the only thing that pre-populates is the article's title, and usually the main photo. So that DOES save time, but if you are using it right, you're probably going to be customizing each message on a per-platform basis anyways (so how much time does that really save?) The company to take it to the next level and semi-fully automate it will be the winner!

Buffer is the top Social Media Management tool for everyone: from junior digital marketers, to experience Social Media Managers willing to maximize their efforts with a time & cost-effective solution. If you plan to work intensely on social media platforms (like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc), by using Buffer you will be able to reach targets / results otherwise impossible.

Pros

Buffer is a software app for social media marketing management (scheduling posts, tracking historical data, planning social media editorial calendar etc) super-easy to setup and extremely efficient. The premium, so-called "Awesome plan", now "Pro Plan" comes at a very convenient rate and you can schedule up to 100 posts/tweets across 10 different social media profiles.

Cons

They've removed an extraordinary tool that was part of Buffer in the past: The Best Time to Post. This feature was able to track the best timings to schedule and post your social content posts, based on your audience and recent history. Buffer indicated that they had to give up on this function, in order to focus on other core-business areas more important for their software app; however, they've indicated some other apps/software able to do this.

We've been using Buffer for years, and it's helped us manage social listening where we can pick up on negative comments/reviews quickly. There's a lot of tools out there already that do scheduling and that do social listening, but what's great about Buffer is that it does both. It's a handy tool and great for any company.

Pros

Buffer's an excellent tool for startups when it comes to managing social media profiles. The scheduling feature is perfect for Instagram, and that's the tool that we use the most. Buffer schedules for all major social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter, but still looking for Linkedin Integration, which I believe is on the roadmap for 2019. Buffer's UX/UI is dead simple, which makes navigating and posting a breeze. The engagement feature of replying and social listening makes Buffer a tool that's versatile for a brand that has multiple accounts and a lot of activity -- especially a use case like a restaurant or clothing brand where customers are prone to write negative reviews. Social listening on Buffer helps brands manage negative comments and reply to customers to win them back. Would highly recommend Buffer to any startup/company that is looking for a 360 view on their social media.

Cons

There's not much to dislike about Buffer. It's a great tool for social media management.

I really like Buffer, and I think I’ll be using it for quite a while

Pros

I love the affordability of Buffer, I wanted software that I could easily plan a content calendar and schedule posts. They offer this for free for 3 accounts, and they have seamless integration with Canva which is great.

Cons

I wish they had more features on the free plan, like a basic data and analytics. However it’s only $6 per platform to upgrade for metrics so it’s not bad

It's generally been pretty good. Totally pissed that two messages about the speed of the dashboard have been totally ignored. Never mind, won't be renewing our subscription due to the constantly degrading performance.

Pros

Easy to set-up and integrate with WordPress.

Cons

Started off being good a few years ago. Now it can be extremely slow rescheduling posts. From being a product we enjoyed using it's now become pone that no one wants to use because it can take up to three hours or more to set up the schedules on a bad day.

I love buffer! It truly helps small business owners, brand managers, and social media professionals to keep everything organized and in one place.

Pros

Let's me schedule posts ahead of time so I don't have to worry about getting on my phone or settings alarms at certain times I can schedule posts for multiple accounts across multiple platforms Interface is easy to use and has different types of views so you can pick which you prefer Has a system that helps you to find content without having to go all over the internet

Cons

Sometimes scheduling posts during specific times on the drag and drop interface wouldn't work and it would move my posts all over. I don't suggest using this view for scheduling posts - just choose one of the others!

Insights and reporting dashboard is fantastic and everyone in team can check the flow of post and make required changes if needed which is amazing feature I must say. Integration is very easy to setup.

Pros

It really helps to schedule post in advance for multiple accounts as well as all social media platforms. Apart from this it will make the things easy to review the post before publishing from the team worldwide and make changes. Automatically pick the image of link no need to upload differently.

At the moment it works amazing and I love to use this in future too for handling my new clients accounts as well

Pros

It is the best scheduler post for linked in and Instagram. It makes the workflow and the planning easy. So i will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The scheduler for Instagram was is instant.

Doesn't support GIF's and hashtags. Inconvenient to upload multiple images.

Pros

It's easy to manage social media life with the help of buffer. It's an app which manages all your social media accounts, you can schedule your posts and upload them on various social media channel at the same time from just this app, so you don't need to login in separate accounts every time you want to post something. it's analytics also helps you to know when you should post on your social media channel, and how effective it will be to post something. Free version - will allow 3 social accounts,10 scheduled posts per account. If you want to add more social accounts then you have to try their different chargeable versions available.

Cons

I use buffer a quite as I am a part-time blogger, so it helps me a lot, but I wish it's free version allows us to upload more posts, I faced issue while posting pictures on Instagram, it stucks in between. rest I find it a very helpful app.

Buffer is an awesome social media scheduling tool that can distribute posts across several social media accounts simultaneously. I love the software.

Pros

The Instagram scheduler is instant. Buffer has a LinkedIn function which is a big advantage for me. Buffer also has a number of account levels which include a free plan. So anyone can find a plan that suits them. Buffer also shows me which posts perform better than others, whether it is with views or likes.

Cons

The free account is a great plan but I feel they should reduce the limits of free accounts a bit.

What a blessing! A big time safer - especially for Instagram!!

Pros

I must say the number one thing I like about Buffer is scheduling posts to Instagram without having to trigger them on my phone! The beautiful posts appear on Instagram (and my other social media accounts) when scheduled - even if I'm busy doing something else. I also like the ability to RE-post things from years ago. Because of this, Buffer is a huge time saver for social media (and my sanity!!)

Cons

Re-posting isn't easy. and somewhat frowned upon - even though re-posts are from past years. And posting a video is a little cumbersome, but it still works!

### "Customer service is useless"

Sometimes it can be frustrating to use, but ever since they decided to randomly make changes to my account despite still paying for the team features and now being unable to access any of the reporting tools Buffer has become utterly useless.

Pros

It does what it's supposed to - except it doesn't because they randomly decided to remove all my access to the reporting analytics despite being on a team who has paid for me to be able to access these metrics. I'm so frustrated and disappointed that at this point there is nothing worthwhile about the service. What's the point in paying money to post and track engagement when the latter half isn't being fulfilled?

Cons

They don't have a help center you can message, or a call center, only an email which takes them at least 6 hours to reply to during the 9-5 workday. Cannot stress enough how useless and frustrating their customer service is, so much so I'm looking to find a new platform that actually resolves my now week+ problem. I've had two different reps completely ignore my questions and just send me a screenshot of what I can clearly see on my own account because THAT IS WHAT I WANT TO BE RESOLVED. I literally just want to be able to access my brand and our clients' reports, which I was able to do a week ago until they did something to my account and now have been less than helpful in finding a solution. If someone from buffer reads this, please get better customer service representatives.

Pros

The ability to schedule posts dynamically was what pushed us in Buffer's direction. It played a pivotal role in understanding audiences and changing our approach appropriately. The free option that Buffer provides is what helped with judging what the product could do and that in itself was more than what other platforms did at the time. It still is a very robust social media management tool even with such great competition in this space.

Cons

The price is linear scaled. For a per-platform cost, it is too high.

Pros

Buffer is certainly the gold standard when it comes to social media post scheduler/management tools. Buffer seems deceptively simple in its interface and implementation, but underneath the minimalist UI is a tool more powerful than other seemingly feature-heavy products. Buffer makes it extremely simple to schedule posts with automatic publishing on the most popular social media platforms, even offering automatic posting to platforms that other tools often do not support automatic publishing for, such as Instagram and TikTok.

Cons

Buffer is costlier than most competing tools, and rapidly increases in price with every team member added meaning that it may be too costly for most individual users and new businesses with more than one or two social media content creators.

We used Buffer before Meta Business Suite came along. We elected to stop using Buffer to schedule and publish content because MBS is way more reliable. We continued to use Buffer for analytics because our clients had grown attached to the elevated analytics. We stopped using it when we found cloud campaign.

Pros

The best part about buffer is the analytics reporting feature that is offered. We used this feature every month on multiple occasions and built our client reports around it.

Cons

The worst part about buffer was the constant pricing changes and lack of support.

I am definitely a fan of buffer, and think they're the front runner in their price range for social media automation.

Pros

Buffer is extremely affordable, but in that the variety of options is limited. Buffer is extremely easy to use and as such I have had no problem teaching team members to use it in a matter of minutes. Being able to post directly in groups is a game changer.

Cons

When I first started using buffer the analytics side of the equation was included in all plans, now that it's separate it's harder to justify the price tag.
