### "Easy way to plan and track post"

May 3, 2025

4.0

It’s been great for making sure we’re posting consistently, even when we’re busy with campaign life and spending more time in cafes than at our desks.

Pros

Buffer makes it insanely simple to line up our posts across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter without having to log into Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I enjoy the clean design in which you can see an entirely week schedule at a glance.

Cons

Analytics are a little limited unless you upgrade to a higher plan and that doesn’t always work for a small nonprofit budget.

### "Que ferai-je sans lui ??"

April 29, 2025

Pros

### "Cool once you’re paying"

July 7, 2025

5.0

I ended up using it after trying another tool that was super expensive. I pretty much use it for all my posts, even if I could skip it for simple ones, but like, I gotta make the subscription worth it.

Pros

I like Buffer’s interface, feels cleaner than other tools I tried. What works well for me is how easy it is to hook up social media accounts.

Cons

The annoying part is if you don’t pay, better not even bother. It lets you set up everything and then when you’re ready to go, you get blocked with a payment pop-up.

### "Super Handy for Scheduling"

May 28, 2025

4.0

Pros

Love how I can just queue all my posts at once and don’t touch them again, it makes my weekly planning way easier and I can cover all platforms from one screen.

Cons

Sometimes I wish I could preview exactly how it looks per platform before it posts, so I still go back and forth which kinda wastes the time I just saved.

### "Buffer is just adequate but more expensive"

January 14, 2025

4.0

It did what I was originally trying to use it for, but over time there are more robust tools that are cheaper

Pros

It was simple to use and allowed me to post across multiple platforms

Cons

The save ideas features wasn't really easy to use and when I started researching there was cheaper versions out there. Like most companies now, they offer a discount once you try to cancel your subscription.

### "Review of Buffer"

January 7, 2025

4.0

It is a good experience especially for me as all I mostly wanted to do was to schedule my posts in one place. That way I can plan my content across all my platforms easily instead of individually logging in to one platform at a time.

Pros

It is easy to use. The dashboard layout is simple to follow through and understand.

Cons

I wish you can reply to comments while still on Buffer and engage with other content.

### "Buffer is great for social media post management... once you're past the painful setup"

September 8, 2024

3.0

Pros

Buffer has a pretty generous free tier, compared to some of its competitors. I used it awhile back for personal accounts and have now come back to it again to manage my business's social media posts. The scheduling tool is easy to use and I like that I can connect it to other tools like Canva and Google Drive. Being able to use it from either my phone or desktop is useful as well.

Cons

Setting up new social media accounts with Buffer is PAINFUL. For example, if I want to connect my Instagram account, it HAS to be a business account, and then Buffer for some reason requires that that Instagram account is ALSO connected to a Facebook Page, and I have to log in via Facebook in order to authenticate. Buffer says that all Instagram business accounts have to be connected to FB Pages, but that isn't actually true. I had to create a basically fake FB Page to connect to my Instagram in order to be able to use Buffer with it. It's way too many steps.

### "Awesome social media management tool"

Buffer has been a game changer for our small marketing team. We can spend one day creating a bunch of posts and schedule them in an easy and intuitive way.

Pros

Buffer is very user friendly, clean, and effective

Cons

Nothing. Buffer rocks. We use the free version and it's fantastic

### "Buffer is a great tool with a Minor Limitation"

July 31, 2024

5.0

Using Buffer has been a transformative experience for managing my social media presence. The platform offers a seamless and efficient way to schedule and post content across various social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Its intuitive interface and robust features have significantly streamlined my workflow, allowing me to focus more on creating engaging content rather than managing the logistics of posting.

Pros

The AI assistance for making the post content better which is one of the most important reason.

Cons

The one downside I’ve encountered with Buffer is the text limit for Twitter/X posts. While this is more of a constraint imposed by Twitter/X itself, it would be great if Buffer could offer some features or tips to help manage these limits more effectively, like an automatic character counter or suggestions for shortening text. Overall, despite this minor limitation, Buffer remains a powerful and efficient tool for managing social media campaigns

[Later Influence](https://www.capterra.com/p/186912/Mavrck/)

Reason for choosing Buffer

Buffer’s clean, intuitive design makes it incredibly easy to use. The simplicity of the platform allows me to schedule and manage posts efficiently without getting bogged down by a complicated interface. Very Affordable The analytics provided by Buffer are detailed and easy to understand, helping me track the performance of my posts and adjust my strategy accordingly. This feature is crucial for optimizing my social media efforts and understanding my audience better. Lastly Buffer’s queue feature is a standout. It allows for easy scheduling and reordering of posts, ensuring a consistent posting schedule. This flexibility is essential for maintaining an active social media presence.

### "Great platform, fair pricing, and easy to use"

November 12, 2024

I've been using Buffer for several years for my agency and managing client's social channels. It's a great platform and fairly priced.

Pros

Buffer is a great platform for managing and scheduling multiple social media channels. It had a good balance of features without being overly complicated or cumbersome to use.

Cons

As a digital agency, I wish I could organize multiple channels into groups or folders for each client.

### "Simple and affordable social media management"

September 15, 2024

Buffer allowed us to efficiently manage our social media posts and provided analytics, but it did not meet the needs of our small business.

Cons

### "Best low price multi platform social media publishing service"

June 24, 2024

5.0

Overall I've had a good experience. Besides the set up, sometimes I have a hard time publishing because one of the social media services doesn't like the shape of the picture I'm trying to put out. I have to resize it a few times.

Pros

I've been using Buffer on and off for many years now but regularly for over 6 months. It's been an interesting ride. I really like the capabilities of being able to publish to three platforms, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The scheduling is the next most important thing to me and it has worked well.

Cons

For starters I had a heck of a time connecting Instagram and Facebook to Buffer. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops and didn't enjoy wasting hours of my time. To be clear, I don't think it is Buffers fault. I'm pretty sure Meta makes Buffer do all this. It doesn't matter though, I had to work hard to get it all set up.

### "Buffer is a Solid Bargain Option"

May 15, 2024

3.0

Buffer has been good to me, but I think I may have outgrown it. I'm sticking with it for now, as I'm grandfathered in but I find myself posting manually more often than not.

Pros

Buffer was the first scheduling app that really stuck with me and I like the overall culture of their company, transparency, etc. For a while it was great for scheduling.

Cons

Over time, the cons have piled up. Instagram functionality has not kept up with what's offered on the app (collaborator tagging, etc) so posting requires semi-automated workarounds vs full automation.

### "Reliable and powerful "

November 19, 2023

5.0

Been using it for years and never looked around for alternatives. I think this sums up my experience pretty well, although my needs are pretty basic

Pros

Buffer has been easy to set up and to learn to operate, it covered all my basic needs for years and never had me looking around for alternatives. It’s always been reliable (which is the most important thing in my opinion) and never felt overwhelming or confusing despite having a real lot of capabilities

Cons

The web interface could be perfectioned a bit maybe, but it’s just a minor complaint. The mobile app is very good though!

### "A must-have for a multi-platform marketing strategy"

December 12, 2023

4.0

On the whole Buffer made it easy for me as a solo and relatively junior marketing professional to manage a comprehensive social media presence for a publishing agency with multiple sub-brands.

Pros

Being able to create an entire social marketing campaign in a single place and schedule it to automatically publish to all of our brand's channels.

Cons

The pricing can get expensive really quickly if you have a lot of accounts that you need to manage, especially if you want some of the more advanced features like analytics or if your marketing team has multiple users.

### "Saving Time with Buffer"

March 2, 2023

4.0

My whole experience in general was great. It allowed me saving many hours of work. I was responsible for managing the social media of an educational program, and sometimes posts had to be post at a specific time, when I was busy. This tool allowed me to manage all efficiently, scheduling all at the beginning of the week and letting Buffer do the job. The only thing I had to do was to look the analytic and make some minor adjustments.

Pros

Buffer is easy to use, many social media such as Facebook and Instagram can be integrated with it, and it really makes life easier. You could once a month schedule all the posts and leave Buffer do the job. And working with the metrics, it's possible to analyse when is the best moment to post to reach more users. It also has a web version to work in computer, but it also has an app (android and ios) where you can access to all the data and schedule new posts.

Cons

Some of its cons are that it has some limitations with some type of content, for instance It doesn't work quite well with reels and sometimes videos too; it sometimes fails with the automatization of this type of content. Anyway, Buffer is continuously adding new features and this will be probably be solved because these apps must adapt to nowadays social media. Another drawback is the basic and premium version: It's possible to work with the free one, but you'll be really limited to just automatically posting and some other basic functionalities. On the other hand, the premium version is not too expensive if you really need it, and you get a wonderful tool to use.

### "A powerful tool for a very low price !"

September 25, 2023

5.0

Very good experience in overall, and amazing list of options available already with a free, or lowest plan account.

Pros

I am really amazed about the amount of feature that are already enable in the lowest plan that Buffer is offering. It is probably the best option for someone who want to start to work with such features, with a low budget

Cons

I rarely had cases were a post was not posting automatically as it was planned. But the only couple of times that this happened in about 2 years, I had a message immediately to inform me about it, and I could post it manually in no time...

Reason for choosing Buffer

The huge increase of the price from Later (250% increase), from one day to another, and after a few years of being their customer was a bit too much for me. When I looked into Buffer, I could have way more options for a much lower price ! I think that buffer is probably the best tool for users that are starting with small accounts, without sacrifying the options and possibilities.

Switched from

[Later Social](https://www.capterra.com/p/152254/Later/)

Later dramatically raised their price and oblige me to change my plan. I was using Later for years, with a plan of 18 dollars for 3 accounts max (I was using 2 accounts at this time). From one day to another, they told me that my plan was no longer available, and I had to change to a new plan. The new plan was (and still is) 25 Dollars per account, and with less features than my previous plan (Like 3 months of data instead of 1 year, no hashtag suggestions anymore, etc...). So an increase of 250% of the price with less features was not an option for me anymore. This is maybe fine for big accounts with big revenues, but not for small users like me...
