April 15, 2025 5.0 As a company who sells and rents geophysical equipment, customer service and training makes puts us above the competition. We offer training workshops several times per year, that require 4 days of travel and 32-hours training. For a lot of customers, it's a time-consuming and expensive investment. We decided to implement a hybrid model, where students take the lectures online and then attend a 1-2 day field training. Having an online platform gives us new possibilities: certifications, webminars, live events, and more, allowing us to reach new customers, including public institutions, universities, research centers. Once in full swing, we will be able to provide training contents for most of the practical applications of resistivity imaging and more.. Pros LearnWorlds is a full LMS that provides all the tools to build great educational training and marketing products. I've been lecturer and content creator for top US universities, using platforms such as eLearning and Canvas and I have to say, with LearnWorlds you can do a lot more without the huge price tag. I am still on the learning curve but so far, the platform has exceeded my expectations. The help center is fantastic; very short reply time, the onboarding sessions helped us to launch our academy in no time. So far, choosing LearnWorlds has been the best decision for our project! Cons I don't see cinches in the armor; we need to spend time learning to do specific things, using the LW Academy and the Help Center. If over time, there are more short "how-to" descriptions we can find using the "Ask for Help" bot, it could save us some time implementing some solutions. I have never been left wanting after an exchange with the support team. I have always felt understood and have been given a solution or an alternative to accomplish what we need to do until the application evolves for the better. Pros LearnWorlds is far more intelligently designed than other peer applications. The platform evolves quickly and their customer service has been spectacularly quick and thorough so there is not a lot of back and forth. Cons There are a couple of features missing that I wish were there, like the ability for the application to recognize when a login is being shared from separate devices. The lack of this feature allows a single subscriber to share their login and that means less revenues for the school. The experience has improved, and it is also engaging and even fun to work with. Pros The amount of customization in terms of content, functions, and settings we are able to work with in order for the settings and experience to be optimal for our needs. It also includes many features that we have not used before, but can be of added value for us once we explore them further. Finally, the email support has been phenomenal - while we do try to solve much on our own with the help of the online resources (which are great), when we do get stuck the responses have been really fast. Cons We'd like to automate more kinds of automated emails under the 'course progress' category, triggered based on course expiration date. Our learners need reminders of the time they have left to finish the course e.g. "You haven't finished the second module yet, and you only have 2 months left until your course expires." Or just standard reminders "Don't forget your course expires in X months." We could also use a better view of course learner progress in a course, in % completion. For now we use the course activity matrix, but need to check row by row. Ideal with a % along the right, for instance. Pros During the free trial period you have all the bells and whistles and is a great product but if your not willing to go with the $300 a month plan your fighting an tough uphill battle. The Starter plan you could barely teach a checkers class. The Pro Trainer is a little better but not much. The AI help at anything below Learning Center is a farce and deceptive at any level below Learning Center. You can use the free Notebooklm to Create your own questions at the Pro Level because the AI uses the internet for questions and not your content like it does at the Learning Center level. We are pleased with our decision. The LW platform is one of the best platforms I have used (I've built sites on most of the mainstream site builders), and LW does not disappoint. At the end of the day, it's the exceptional customer and tech support that sets them apart. I highly recommend this platform. 20 stars from Project Success Academy (PSA). Pros LW is a user-friendly LMS for businesses of all sizes. The site has so many features and capabilities, and the list keeps growing. My favorite part about LW is the customer service. It knocks the big tech companies out of the park. They respond within less than an hour and truly care about helping your company succeed. The support teams provide relevant answers with screenshots, videos, and specific examples. This is a critical piece for any LMS platform. As a developer and senior marketing manager, I love working with a team of tech wizards who know how to ask the right questions to dig deeper, identify the root issues, and help find a feasible solution. Tell me another company that does this AND within less than an hour? Cons This is very minor, but we would love to see some more functionality and customizations for our LW site. On the plus side, LW is fantastic about submitting our constant (daily to weekly) feedback to their product teams. LW is always launching new features, so again, this is a minor item. March 7, 2025 5.0 Pros The platform is user-friendly and there is so much capability! I developed the website for our school and although it was my first time, it turned out really fantastic. One of the best things I've seen about LearnWorlds is the excellent Help Desk they have. There is a resource center that has hundreds of useful articles that are very well put together, and when I can't find what I need, I just put in a ticket and get an answer by email usually within a day. I have found that their help desk people put thought into their responses and offer appropriate suggestions and link relevant articles. Very useful. Cons Some capabilities that I wanted simply weren't there yet. I can't remember them at the moment, but I put tickets in for them and the help desk said they would forward my feedback on to their development team. At first, the website development interface was not as intuitive as I would hope for (like resizing things, and repositioning them), but after a while doing it, I got used to it. I work in US Eastern Standard Time and there seems to always be someone who will answer my message in about an hour. I'm always guaranteed an answer. Pros LearnWorlds is a cost-effective LMS that helped us to get our academy up and running! I appreciate innovative features like interactive links on videos, the ability to upload and host directly on the platform, and advanced page and design customization. I don't quite seem to find these features with other LMS platforms, and if they have it, it comes at an upcharge. Cons I feel the system can be clunky at times; there's a lot of clicks to get to the right section. Creating and designing webpages and ebooks can also be tedious with their builder. And a big pitfall for our team has been the inability to define completion, meaning we decide which activities count towards completion, instead of all items having to be clicked on in order to count as completed. Pros I love the easy use of LearnWorlds. I have no experience in UX design, and I feel like the platform equips me with the necessary tools to design the courses and pages in a way that works for my branding. Cons Sometimes I wish I could customize sections even further (i.e., have a different palette of "school colors" for different courses, so "course colors" would allow for more customization). But I understand that we are not designing our own website, so I am still grateful for the large amount of customization that the platform does allow. Learnworlds konzentriert sich aktuell mehr auf wenig gut funktionierende AI-Features. Das ist aus Sales Sicht verständlich, aber damit werden sie uns als Akademie leider nicht halten können. Pros Learnworlds ist eine All-In-One-Lösung und eigentlich genau das was wir gesucht haben und teilweise auch darin gefunden haben. I would definitley reccomend working with LearnWorlds. I was able to get my Academy up and running by myself (as a side project) in about a month! Pros This was a very easy and intuitive platform to use for beginners! The exisiting templates for creating the website made it easy to create landing pages from scratch. Building the actual courses themselves were easy as well with lots of different options for engagement. My Learner Center plan came with partnership with a CSM who was incredibly helpful during the onboarding process. Cons I found it a little challenging to navigate to the user view side while making updates.
