The interface and errors are a bit clunky at times. Support is not the fastest. Pros It lets us choose the backend (Amazon, BackBlaze, etc.) Cons It has mysterious errors from time to time that we need to contact support for. Review Source Matt I. Pros CloudBerry installs on everything. It is a very mature product with many options. Cons It seems kind of expensive. No issues, everything works. When i reach out to the support team, they respond. Glad i found MSP360. Pros its simple and easy to install and get working. Great documents as well. In case of some sort of emergency when our physical location is not available, we can restore all of our VMs to Azure. We also back up locally to a NAS Cons It can be confusing setting up. I had to contact support many times to make sure I was doing it correctly and even now I'm not sure if i'm doing it all correctly but I know our backups can be restored. I have had some errors pop up on restore that made me change some settings. Had I not tested it and needed to restore, we would've been screwed Review Source BP Brian P. Keeps the backup process simple. Pros The software was easy to step up. After setup and configuring your cloud locations the system performs as expected. I receive an email when the backup is finished and saved to the cloud. Cons There was a little learning curve for the first time setup to connect to the cloud (Amazon Glacier) but after I worked trough it all. Things work great. Review Source Joseph O. Cons I haven't encountered anything negative worth reporting about this software. So long as one is ready to go through the learning curve the experience will be amazing thereafter. Cons I have had a few times when it seems like it will reset itself and we have to redo some of our settings. Reason for choosing MSP360 Backup It was recommended by one of my sub contractors. They set it up fast, only required a brief explanation and is very cost effective. It works as designed. Pros Easy to use. Very stable. Lots of features and functionality. Integrates with many cloud storage platforms. Has MSP management and re-branding capability. Cons Logging could be significantly improved. More information could be available online to help troubleshoot this product. November 24, 2017 5.0 Pros I really like the ability to select from so many storage providers. Pick the storage plan that has the pricing and features you need and use CloudBerry Backup to get your data there. I already have it setup to upload photos from four different PCs to Amazon Cloud Drive so my wife can easily view photos from all family members online. I also perform a local backup to a USB HDD attached to a PC. I was able to seed my own backups by attaching the drive to each PC in the house to create the initial backup. Then subsequent backups are run across the network. Took a short amount of time to figure everything out... not as easy as some that are out there... but once you get it down, it's not bad. The flexibility is definitely worth the learning curve. Setting up email notifications was easy and makes it handy to keep track of successful/failed jobs running on multiple computers. I'm still using the free trial, but this is definitely the software I'll be using to replace Crashplan. Cons Likely not very easy to learn for anyone that is not very technical. There is a lot more knowledge needed to set this up to work correctly when compared to some other online backup software (like Crashplan or Backblaze)... however, it does offer much more flexibility and choice compared to the others. I wasn't pleased that I had to set up and then turn off AWS storage as it's the default when you first set up your account, but it wasn't too much of a hassle. Pros For the most part, configuration is easy. The management console easily shows what jobs are current or behind. Cons I had difficulties setting up Azure storage management. (Auto movement from hot to cool storage.) Pros MSP 360 is good for what it does. Backups. It's super simple and easy to use and configure. I was able to get everything setup within 30 minutes. Cons I don't feel you get value in what you're paying for. It requires you to keep refilling a $100 bank just to have 5 licenses. Cons The UI is a bit dated with the use of the ribbon (but functionally there's no impact), and it seems like onedrive file pointers are messing it up a bit but other than that it's great! It's always been easy to setup and maintain and got us out of some difficult spots! Support for BackBlaze B2 has also saved us a small fortune in storage costs. Cons As yet we have not had any major issues whilst using the software / services provided. There does not currently appear to be a way that we can back up Office365 Sharepoint (OneDrive for business) libraries to local storage but I'm sure it will arrive soon. Review Source Samuel F. Cons It doesn't have a mobile app and it is not for casual users. Cloudberry doesn't have phone support so it will be hard to get help if you need it. December 14, 2017 5.0 Pros The possibility of backing up to multiple cloud storage providers and in so increasing the reliability of the backup as you are not dependent on one storage provider. Great price for what you get. The ability to choose what country your backup is uploaded to. LINUX client! Cons The summary emails do not really warn if your backup has stopped only if it fails to back up. There is no way of combining all backups into one summary email, you will get one email for each backup job. You need to be a bit tech-savvy to setup a backup as you need an additional account at a cloud storage provider (not a one-click setup).
