Safety Manager Construction Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Sitedocs is a simple doccumentation platform" October 8, 2025 3.0 Site docs was an adequate platform, they were about mid on value for cost (some are better some are worse), and while I prefer another platform I can see some people finding it to be ideal. Specifically if the user(s) administrating it have a low technical ability on computers or only want the simple features that it offers (no "if" functions or calculations, limited specific notifications or task assignments). The user interface makes navigating to documents forms and certifications very easy for end users in a way I haven't seen replicated as smoothly on other systems. Pros Site-docs was easy to use and had a good interface. Some features I miss compared to other platforms are repeatable segments and common lists. It was extremely easy to pull and review documents for things like audits or to send to customers. Cons The features and abilities were limited. For example while there were sections where workers could upload certificates but no ability to track outstanding certificate renewals and training matrix requirements, site analytics were not helpful in gaining insights or tracking requirements. Tracking and completing tasks created by forms was not easy and was not able to work for us in tracking deficiency reports on equipment. Pros I like the engage series because it offers a good refresher on topics topics as I build forms and improve our safety environment. Cons I do not like that much of the useful information that I could use day to day is locked behind analytics. I wish there were more quick to use tools to filter data on the monitor view. One sticking point ios that on monitor view I cannot filter by "date the form was completed", instead it is filtered by when the formw as last revised. not a huge issue but a small pain point. We've been using SiteDocs primarily for tracking timesheets, managing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and conducting safety inspections. Overall, the platform offers a solid digital solution for companies looking to streamline their safety documentation and compliance processes. Customer service has been generally responsive, and the onboarding process was smooth. Their support materials and training resources are helpful, especially for new users. Any issues we've encountered were addressed in a timely manner. Pros Easy to use programs, great if your company is COR certified. Form creating is very easy. Cons It's unlikely one would be able to jump in and use this program without going through an onboarding process, which is now provided easily. Pros Its easier to track files and forms, paperless and accessible from anywhere. Very helpful to follow up on corrective actions. Cons Some specific reports can not be created. On my position I need to track my foreman's paperwork compliance weekly, a report to export with that information would be amazing. Health and Safety Manager Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great System! have recommended to others" August 12, 2025 4.0 Overall its been great! there are lots of companies out there that are growing this type of system, and all seem to be holding as their main goal to beat, which isn't a bad thing! Holding SiteDocs as the standard should be an achievement to the team. Pros The custom forms, my company has several branches that range from commercial to industrial, and the forms can't be the same. However with the customizable forms, users can navigate to applicable portions using dropdowns. I have a range of employees from 20 to 60 year old workers, all found the program easy to use and simple. I also had an audit recently and the auditor was able to log into our archive and perform the audit on documentation easily, saved a pile of time. Cons Not much to complain about, I suppose I have mentioned this to the engineering team a few times, but when signing the form, you have the opportunity to choose anyone on/off site, so I could sign off as the CEO if I wanted. An additional layer of security is lacking there. I still find it hard to include our employees that do not have email addresses or that still have flip phones. Pros That I am able to modify or update forms for my workers on the fly. The needs are always changing so it is very flexible. Cons The equipment setup is very cumbersome to hand over to your tech team to input our inventory in . I had to tweak my spreadsheet 3 times now and it is still not completed and re-submitted. We have a couple hundred pieces. We do come together as a group about 4 hrs into the shift but that's a lot of the day where we are distributed and Site Docs allows us to provide a cohesive safety message to everyone and keep inspection results in a central location. Being able to schedule weekly inspections and assign them to specific workers also works to ensure accountability. Having everyone's certifications and competencies in one place also makes compliance checks much easier then searching paper in a file folder. Pros Site Docs works great for our company. We have distributed crews who have staggered start times and different locations Using Site Docs allows us to get everyone on the same page with the toolbox, allows the crews to do the daily inspections of their vehicle or vessel. The inspections are logged and can be checked from the office which also allows us to check fuel states for the boats to plan fueling for the day. Being digital means there's no more lost paper. Cons It is fairly intuitive to get forms made and set up originally, but the more advanced areas of site docs or ways to improve it seems cumbersome to learn it. Review Source CL Connie L. There are still some glitches but they are few and far between. Pros How easy it is to use both in the office and the field. Switching between applications is smooth and no loss of information Cons Revising of some of the documents without having to remove them and starting over. Having to sign each and every time there is a change but until each document is reviewed thoroughly it's hard to see what change was actually done. Pros Easy to use tutorials and guides, we have had some syncing issues as well with our field guys and have been working with to fix this issue, i appreciate that the people helping me not only give me first steps but also other options, they are very knowledgeable and have even check back in with me to confirm if the solutions they have given me work! I have been able to convince our operating company to move more into site docs with forms inspections and audit results which helps us track everything and less data handling / managing in excel which causes transcription errors. Cons Extra charge for analytics this feature should be standard.No system to alert personnel when training is expiring, should send a notification to the employee of the training that is about to lapse. Their customer support is also very great, the platform is easy to use and implement to make your HSE Management so much faster, better and safer. Pros I love that the whole program is paperless. I don't have to chase people down for documents. I can easily monitor form completion and follow up when it is not completed. It makes it very easy to ensure all workers are completing forms as required by assignment for frequency. Site Docs allows for more worker participation through form completion, and they don't have to remember to do anything with the papers. Cons Not much I don't like - I have communicated the need for a hazard assessment table for use in forms. All other features are awesome. The other thing the information is very to share. Pros I like this product the best because it was easy to roll out to the field. The operators in the field get to have say in the forms we created making these documents theirs. Then they take owner ship. Cons When we first got it was being set up trial and error to see what worked best for our company and now all the forms are still visible. I would like it if there was a feature to archive old forms that will never be used again. The same with employees if you make a mistake setting up and employee they are forever there. It has completely changed the game for us in terms of knowing what is going on at site, responding to issues in the field, and understanding and addressing trends that are occurring. Pros The ease of building forms, the amazing and immediate customer service, the analytics services available to users, and the intuitive, user-friendly layout all made an immediate success in our company. It has been essential in attaining and maintaining our Certificate of Compliance (COR) designation, and has allowed us to develop a high-functioning hazard identification and corrective action process that ensures that the loop is closed on any deficiencies every time. Great value for the impact that this software can make. We now have safety statistics at our fingertips and have been able to identify trends and establish long term goals based on the information we gained form using this software. Cons Some features which I would like to see in the future would be smart forms that would trigger automatic outcomes (if I select this, then that happens, if this then that, etc.) currently you can not build a form that would automatically generate appropriate actions or responses based on the input, which would be handy for cause analysis and hazard recognition forms. Another feature that would be nice to see on the forms is a feature (apart from the flag and follow up feature) which would automatically prompt / notify necessary parties to review and sign forms. Daily HAs, fall protection plans and lift inspections, training certificates, tool box meetings, start up meetings are all required for COR, and contractors. You must be able to do the required paperwork, and have it signed and submitted in the most efficient manner in order to stay competitive in the construction industry. can, and will do all of these things. Pros We like that we can customize forms to our company. Our safety documentation is completed and forwarded to our office and contractors before work starts. Our staff can do all company documentation on their phone, through , including inspections, investigations, incident/accident reporting. We can also put important information into SiteDocs for staff, such as OHS information, SWP and SJP and critical task lists. Also, SiteDocs is extremely helpful for annual COR audits. You can customize this software to do almost anything you want! Cons We have been happily using this software for quite a few years. If a feature does not yet exist, the developers have been very receptive to feedback to make it meet the needs of the end user! I primarily use if for uploading company specific resources that can be viewed in real-time by all of the assigned users. It is also how we track employee training (dates & certificates), varying audits (in-house, client, DEQ+), good catches/shared learnings, safety meeting topics & attendance (& who needs caught up by filtering & checking), & with the latest feature of editing how the menu is viewed based on location, I can allow certain documents to be the primary options for the the departments that they serve (so they are not spending field time sifting through every resource & form I have ever uploaded or created). In addition, we customize fillable forms to meet the need of the department (& can make real-time changes based on feedback). We have Project Managers who use it, HR who can reference it, Quality who performs audits on it, Division Managers & Supervisors from our Ironworking, Maintenance, Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings, & Overhead Dock & Door Divisions that utilize it, the Employee Development Manager who can initiate orientations on it, & the Safety Department who has relied on it the heaviest for the longest. It has even been the primary backing & method of single point reference for a thorough client audit that we were spot checked on, & it really streamlined the process! Cons The primary downside in my eyes is that the full metrics is an add-on feature at additional cost. An inconvenience is that when you use an image in a fillable form, it appears as a default in the final signed document, even if that section did not apply & was collapsed. Reason for choosing SiteDocs I began with at a previous employer & helped build it up into the usable format it became at that time. When I moved on, it was an easy transition to want to offer the same advantage.
