Call them up with ANY question and they take the time to walk you through a solution. Pros It is infinitely customizable. If you already have a safety program on paper that works for you, you can recreate it online and it's easy for the layman to use. Other programs make you learn "their way" of managing safety. allows you to do it "your way". Cons Because it is so customizable, you'll need some "lead time" to create all of the forms that you want to learn. This isn't difficult but it does take time. I wish they allowed you to duplicate a form you have already created and modify it, then rename it. This would save time but is not something they currently offer. Review Source GK Greg K. " April 18, 2022 4.0 We do not need to wait for files or reports they are in as real time as we can get them. Resources for SWP's are available immediately for the workers to review. Pros The Site workers, Supervisors, Managers and Safety Management team are able to review documents, hazard assessments and incidents in as near to real time; as you can get. Cons It is found that workers repeat their Hazard Assessments. New tasks and hazards are to be identified daily and control measures must be put in place for each hazard identified. There should be a second look, that if the same is repeated, the document will prompt a review of hazards and controls. December 13, 2021 5.0 My overall opinion regarding this program is if you are considering a paperless system, choose ! Not only do they have all the forms and resources that we need to have a excellent safety program but also the best customer support, very quick, on point and extremely knowledgeable...even if they don't have the answer immediately they aren't afraid to say and to ask others for help. I appreciate them very much, they are all so helpful. Pros This program has changed the way we administer our safety program, "PAPERLESS". The ease of use is above and beyond. I took 60 workers (plumbers/steamfitters) that had never seen a program like this and trained them all with relative ease. Of course some caught very quickly, but others who did not have much computer experience caught on too. These workers who at the beginning thought they would never be able to complete the forms are now teaching others!! I really can't say enough about this program. Cons The thing that I least like about this program is that I can't separate forms out at different levels of supervision. The Super Admin and Admin are the same and so on. I would like to have different levels. But... I have requested that from and they are very responsive with requests from clients, I am sure that this feature will soon be available to us. The feedback from supervision, clients, management, stakeholders are all impressed with the product and program delivery. I am mind blown by the deliverables this program gives, everything is done for you, making administrative time even within the program at an all time low. Pros The program is extremely user friendly. Easy to read, beautiful/simple lay outs of the forms that give a professional, crisp look. I like the accountability aspect where you have to sign the document. Client sharing capabilities are so easy. The reps. available for questions are hands on, trained in the program, very helpful and your messages/questions are answered extremely quick. Cons I have not had a con that has outweighed the pros of the program. I think each and every person might have a person touch that they would like to see about any program, I share these with for future growth opportunities within the continuous program growth and development. With these programs, yes they had elaborate programs but also, if you wanted to have "add ons" you had to pay extra. Some programs were too grand, that the price was the same. So you were paying a large price to only use 1/3 of the program with NO ability to price adjust for these reasons. A lot of these programs also were only offered in US currency, not Canadian CAD. So the price was above the original quoted price because of the exchange rates and exchange costs. Some of the programs charged you for placing in a ticket request for help. Your request went into a general mail box and could have taken up to 24 hours for a response. Also, they were majority not Canadian Companies with out sourced call centers (essentially a company cost savings). Review Source BH Brian H. The product is always upgrading and adding helpful new features. I always get very excited when a new feature is announced (especially when its one that I suggested). The team is very kind and quick to respond to requests for help. Pros Adaptable product. We have been able to adopt almost all of our paper forms into a digital format. This saves time in filling and record keeping. It also ensures each document is named correctly based on company naming conventions. We have utilized this software to transfer incident reporting, inspections, investigations, and much more into a digital form. Cons The software is missing customizable features that allow you to change the appearance of finished forms. The current style is very blocky and colorless. Allowing the user to customize the finalized forms section headers using hex codes would make the forms easier to read, and appear more complete. Also, having if/than statements in forms would allow more similar forms to be in one, making it easier for the end user to select the correct form. For example, with incident reporting, I may want specific information for medical responses compared to evacuations. Review Source DL Darcy L. Support is always available but its a lot really easy to use. Its saved me alot of time managing the safety program which has allowed me to put my energy in other parts of the business as well and to make sure the program is the best its ever been. Pros I like the fact that it has saved me alot of time managing the safety program. I dont need to file paperwork, its easy to review filled out forms and sign off on them and I have more buy in from employees as its easy to use and to fill in forms. Its also really easy to customize and build forms. Cons push notifications would be great. Like if they chose a certain hazard like hot work then the hot work form would pop up for them to fill in. February 4, 2022 5.0 Overall, this has been an amazing software to use. Customer service is second to none, and the software's ability to be customized for our needs has been worth every penny. Pros is very easy to use and implement for field use. Even the most "old school" workers have been able to successfully utilize this software in the field. Another huge plus for us is the software's ability to create our own forms. This has allowed us to use SiteDocs as a Quality Control tool as well. The "resource" section allows us to store all of our SDS sheets as well as product data sheets for all of the products we use. Cons I would love for the software to allow for the use of something like Excel. I'd like to be able to input numbers and have the software do basic mathematical functions. It is easy for workers in the field to document their safety reports and see what others have filled out as well. It is a reliable and easy way to navigate our safety needs. We not only save time, but we also bring more visibility to our safety program. Pros is very easy to use. I also like having the ability to build my own forms. Most of SiteDocs competitors make you send them the info and they build your forms for you, all while you wait days to get the forms built and setup. If you need to make a small change or correction, you then have to send it back and wait again. SiteDocs not only will help you with you forms, but they let you be in control. Admin or workers can't edit a location once a form has been submitted. We dispensed tablets throughout our facility so all employees have quick access to SDS's, company policies, work instructions, etc. (many other features), at the touch of their fingertips. When everyone realized they were all part of safety, they started filling out forms to better our safety program for our facility, which led to breaking our company safety record. Pros Extremely easy to use and gets employees more engaged about safety, you do not have to be "tech savvy" to use this software and the tech support is VERY responsive when you have questions. Cons Small things; not being able to easily switch forms from public to private (you have to rebuild a whole new form), not being able to adjust an employee email without having to create a new profile. " April 12, 2023 5.0 Pros Incident reporting and Analytics would be the most beneficial part for us! To be able to track and analyze the incidents in our large facility has been great for reducing and risk mitigation. I would also like to commend how great the customer service team is. They always go above and beyond to support! Cons It depends on the industry you are in and the settings you use but at times there are situations that arise that can be difficult to appeal to all. For example, when an incident report is signed it is emailed to those you specify. Sometimes those emails can be cumbersome but again depends on the industry, size of organization etc. Review Source JA J A. To have done all of this work only to have to possibly abandon the the platform and retrain all of our people on something else is horrible. Pros Loved the program. Was easy to use after some set up but it works great for the company and our safety needs. Cons The initial year was pricy but could be justified. Was paying $3700 CDN plus tax. Now that it is time to renew they have implemented a tier system and to get what we currently have (and keep what I spent months to set up) the price has jumped drastically to $4989.50 (this is after the $850 discount), That is an incredible 40% jump in pricing before the one time discount, 28% after. How can I justify that? If I drop to their basic Essentials tier, I am still having to pay $4476.95, so 21% more than the first year but with half the functionality. Bait and switch. Avoid them unless you want to go through months of set up and then gouged upon renewal. As a Safety Manager I can view the issues on each site every day, and take action without having to visit each site every day. Having three business units working hundreds of miles apart this is an imperative. Pros This software enables me to create, edit, and distribute forms and program information across our entire company within minutes. Adjustments to components of the program can happen real-time in the field when it counts. The Analytics suite helps managers keep their fingers on the pulse of safety activities on-site everyday. Cons Some (very little) things need to be a little more flexible. Switched from [SafetyCulture](https://www.capterra.com/p/141080/iAuditor/) At the time I made the switch, iAuditor was a good platform, but did not have the ability to add our entire safety program as has. It was also pretty cumbersome to create and edit forms and no adequate means to review ongoing documentation. All forms created in iAuditor were set up with a scoring system that wasn't always an accurate representation of how a job site was functioning, and their analytics were pretty sparce. Cons The annual rate increase of nearly $1000 was a bit of a shock with little changes that are useful to our company, but we've spent hours setting everything up and don't want to redo it in another program. We are very satisfied with SiteDocs, and we highly recommend other companies to use this software. Pros I prefer because it can customize the forms, so we can create, edit and delete our own templates. SiteDocs has a platform which can be easily used on both the PC and mobile devices (cell phone & tablets). We have control to show created templates to mobile users or not, and it decreases the confusion of the site team. The forms can be categorized and filtered by either date, type, user, so we have more options to sort out the forms we need. The price is reasonable to include the user number range, so we don't concern about increasing price per user. All the signed forms are saved and synchronized automatically every several seconds, so we can get reports immediately from the sites. The users' access can be limited per administrator, so we can reduce the duplicated locations and users. Cons Some of the employees can't understand English perfectly, so we trans;ate some form into another language. however, the saved report would show the other language as question marks. can be improved by adding more fields of signature since we need to get all team members' signature when we fill in the safety docuements.
