"My pick for the best HR software. Most approachable platform."

**Overall:** My top choice because it provides all our basic HR needs including, payroll, benefits administration, time tracking, record keeping and recruiting.

**Pros:** Its affordable price, full customer support and tools to comply with laws makes Namely my best choice. Namely also impressed me with its modern, no-frills interface which made it easy to complete HR tasks like running payroll or requesting feedback with a few clicks.

**Cons:** Lacks internal communication features. Also, it has limited reporting and analytics functionality.

"Not very user friendly"

**Overall:** Overall I’m very glad we switched from Paychex, but I think Gusto is the clear winner in terms of user experience.

**Pros:** Namely is far better than Paychex, which we used previously. All the necessary functionality is there, and it serves its purpose.

**Cons:** Although miles better than paychex, Namely leaves a lot to be desired from an employee user experience. The portal is not intuitive to navigate, the functionality for performance reviews is basic, and overall I find myself needing to reach out to HR often for help navigating the platform.
