App is powerful enough to handle promotion cycles, and complex reporting correlating pay to to seniority/gender/age/race. Overall UI is solid and easy to setup. Reporting system is mostly intuitive. Cons Still not as many out-of-the-box integrations to other products (netsuite) as I'd like. Creating reports is slow as finding the field you want is a painful process. Review Source DK David K. Its links to our other programs (international payroll, expense reporting, travel, etc.) is seamless, and the implementation team has been outstanding thus far. August 25, 2016 5.0 Previously to adopting Namely, our team had been using spread sheets, Google doc, various calendars and multiple other tools that covered what the Namely platform would provide. This has been a true time saver and is so much easier to navigate having everything in one place. Pros I love the dedicated support teams. Cons We are still new to the platform, so no cons thus far. There are some kinks that need to be smoothed out, as with any newer company. With that said, the Namely team is open to feedback and takes customer requests very seriously. Pros The ability to customize the system and tailor it to our unique culture. The newsfeed and birthday/work anniversary reminders are amazing! Cons How an employee PTO balance is reported in Namely. Currently, the PTO plan is set up so that each employee's PTO renews on their anniversary date. It's confusing and it is not the true available PTO balance. Pros I like that I can see my paychecks, my benefits, my insurance information, all in one place. I like that I can also build out my own employee profile. Cons Some platform bugs and I'd appreciate a more simplified UX but, overall, it's always been a positive experience for me using the platform. Also it does not let you put in PTO requests if you don't have enough hours logged at the exact time. Which make no sense, because I will have enough PTO by the time my vacation arrives in a few months. They go above and beyond what I'd expect from an HRIS platform Cons I love using this product, there really isn't many bad things I can say. It's nice to have your employee data, payroll, benefits and potentially your employee files all in one place. The ease of use is great, the UI is wonderful, and our account manager has been great to work with. However, the only downside we've had this far are implementation issues. The timecard system in Namely is a bit cumbersome (but they are working on a new release) and we did have communication issues during implementation (i.e things not getting done that we were told were being worked on.) Pros Ease of use, user experience. Cons Doesn't appear to be a lot of integration with HRIS and payroll - but it sounds like it's coming. Review Source AG Amy G. Namely allowed us to get everything from paryroll to benefits and performance management under one piece of technology. We are still transitioning as we are just post implementation. We are working out kinks with Namely's support and we feel confident that the system will continue to improve operations. Pros Namely is user friendly, promotes employee engagement, has a 'facebook' feel to it and helps the company vibe. From an HRIS perspective, it is highly customizable and offers employees self service features around banking and benefits that are fantastic! December 7, 2016 5.0 Our company recently had our HR rep change her availability to half time with the possibility that she would no longer be available to us in the near future. While exploring options, Namely became a great way to automate and track many of the things that she used to spend time doing. I have loved using the service so far! If I want to know what our insurance policy covers, Namely stores that information. If I want to change my benefits package in any way, Namely allows me to see the next time I'm eligible to do so and do it all online. This has been such an easy way to manage HR in a workforce that has many individuals away from the office or remote much of the time. It has reduced the amount of paper needed for many of our HR practices as well since most of these documents can be generated, signed, and stored online. She is super helpful and timely. Cons Every time I asked "Can Namely do this?" - the answer was no. The platform makes it very easy to engage with your team and also keep and share information. The benefits team has been incredibly helpful with choosing affordable benefits that would be the right fit for our company. Pros The ease of use! Our team loves it because it is so intuitive. Cons We just launched Namely recently, any pain points I have at this time are more from still learning how to use certain things in the platform (more of the management settings).
