Ecwid è una delle piattaforme che prediligo per consegnare un prodotto semplice ad un utente con poca skill-how. È veramente difficile per l'utente sbagliare o fare danni al sito anche senza il costante monitoraggio da parte del creatore del sito. Al cliente rimane in mano praticamente solo la gestione dei prodotti e la vendita, con una facilità estrema. È possible, ed estremamente facile lavorare sul Seo direttamente nell'inserimento del prodotto.Le integrazioni con i maggiori sistemi di pagamento sono estremamente semplici da configurare. È possibile integrare anche con i maggiori spedizionieri, inviare scontistiche dedicate ed email a clienti.

Pros

Ecwid è sicuramente un buon software per la gestione di un ecommerce, soprattutto qualora non si abbiano competenze tecniche di programmazione o non si abbia un grosso budget a disposizione. La gestione del negozio è molto semplice ed intuitiva, gestibile del tutto dal semplice pannello di controllo. È possibile monitorare il software anche da sistemi android, qualora non si sia in sede, possibile integrazione con Api, per cui le implementazioni possono essere davvero molte. È possibile l'integrazione e sincronizzazione con altre piattaforme di vendita come Amazon, Ebay ed altre. Facile lavorazione sul Seo direttamente dalla configurazione del prodotto, della categoria e del negozio. Intuitiva, ed estremamente semplice l'integrazione con i maggiori sistemi di pagamento e c'è la possibilità di configurare direttamente il costo della spedizione, scontistiche dedicate, sconti sugli importi spesi (se si raggiunge una certa cifra per esempio) con spedizioni gratuite. Consigliato soprattutto per piccoli ecommerce o starter.

Cons

Ecwid non ha tutte le funzionalità che invece altri potrebbero offrire, per cui spesso bisogna integrare con funzionalità create ad hoc, oppure con plugin a pagamento. I prezzi delle integrazioni con altre piattaforme di vendita sono un po alte, considerando commissioni e commissioni a terzi il guadagno si riduce, ma con calcoli ben fatti sull'utile, e se si ha prodotti ad alta rotazione o con buon margine, ne vale la pena.

Esistono molti cms freeware, molti con la caratteristica di essere praticamente modellabili a piacimento. La mia preferenza all'installazione e configurazione di Ecwid, oltre ad un'ottima gestione del negozio, della vendita, finalizzazione e Seo, ecc.. è dovuta principalmente alla facilità di utilizzo da parte dell'utente finale.

Essendo sviluppatore e manutentore del sito e non end user l'ecommerce che propongo, così come le varie integrazioni dipendono principalmente da quello che vuole il cliente. Tra queste, sicuramente, spesso mi trovo a dover dare priorità alla facilità d'uso della piattaforma da parte del cliente, ed Ecwid sicuramente agevola in questo, seppur con abbonamento.

If you don't find anything or your are facing other issues, Ecwid's customer service is just excellent. Live chat available and outside of business hours they usual answer within 24 hours.

Pros

User-friendly platform with a great database of instructions, no coding needed but I you want to use coding, it's possible and for people who want to learn coding here, they provide a great CSS Cookbook. Very inexpensive Ecommerce platform if you start from scratch.

Cons

There is nothing that I don't like from Ecwid.

Pros

I use this as an add on to my Wix website. The combination of the two gives me absolutely everything I need. I like how easy it is to use and that I can customize it. I love the app. The assistance I have needed has also been top notch!

Cons

The fact it is only one page. This is why I went with Wix for my website and added Ecwid for my store.

Very good experience. It helped me when my online business was beginning out.

Pros

Being able to categorise products in a straight forward way. The website manager allows you to change the layout to your own vision and keeps track of you inventory. For a small business owner this is great as you can keep track of the business in extreme detail.

Cons

For additional add ons you have to have a monthly subscription. However, the cost of this is on par to other online shopping website domains.

It was not a difficult task to create the store, always inventory addition to stores takes up time, creating the look was an actually interesting and good experience. It would be exciting as you can have everything to suit your requirements.

Pros

I admire Ecwid for allowing a free storefront which is customizable but limits the products being sold. It is a start and will actually make a difference to many. I like the design, UI, and customization according to my preferences being easily available. I like the fact that there are plugins for the usage of other sales platforms like Facebook to be integrated with Ecwid.

Cons

I honestly have no problem with Ecwid, I have never experienced any problems on this website front. There are so many versatile features sometimes it becomes too much for one person to focus on, therefore it must be used strategically to gain optimum results.

Ecwid is a proper choice for your e-commerce needs especially if your primary marketing channel is social! I use my Ecwid store to showcase products that perform better with social traffic and this works perfectly with Ecwid.

Pros

Ecwid offers the best social commerce for Instagram, Facebook, and Google shopping. With its in-built integration, you can in no time showcase your products on your social network platforms. Ecwid offers a lot of channels but the social ones are a stand-out for me.

Cons

Ecwid's SEO is not as robust as its competitors like Shopify. For your site to be discovered on Google search with just its SEO won't cut it. You will need to push more SEO towards your connected blog, and perhaps other third parties services you have connected to your store.

Ecwid nos trajo simplicidad y alegría al comienzo. Éramos una pequeña empresa de 2 personas, emprendiendo en el mundo del comercio electrónico sin una persona especialista en diseño web. Comenzamos explorando sin conocimiento previo, con el plan gratuito, pero al ver la simplicidad, en poco tiempo contratamos el plan Silver. Luego, el dólar subió en Colombia y el precio de Ecwid se duplicó para nosotros debido a ello, intentamos soportarlo por un tiempo pero no era conveniente para nosotros como emprendedores, así que tuvimos que cambiar a un proveedor argentino muy económico que cobra en pesos colombianos. Sin duda, Ecwid es uno de los mejores proveedores de ecommerce que hemos contratado y lo recomendamos 100% tanto para empresas de todos los tamaños como para emprendedores y trabajadores autónomos, con o sin conocimiento previo al respecto.

Pros

Se puede instalar la tienda en cualquier página web. Sí, practicamente en cualquier página que administres. Incluso se puede instalar cada artículo por separado o cada pieza en forma de gadget (carrito de compras, categorías, buscador, etc.) por separado puede instalarse a través de un código HTML. La administración de la tienda no es tan complicada

Cons

El precio de los planes en dólares. Estaba bien para nuestra pequeña empresa durante más de dos años, pero dejamos de usar Ecwid porque el dólar en Colombia subió muchísimo, lo que nos obligó a cambiar a un proveedor argentino que, a pesar de no ser local, cobraba en pesos colombianos (COP).

I really appreciate how simple Ecwid is and how quickly you learn the right way to use it effectively. Ecwid enables us to create an integrated online store, and also provides a large number of suggestions and templates to enable the user to design his store in the appropriate manner, so that he can add images, information, contact data, product prices and payment methods, in addition to the facilities it provides to store customers during their purchases. . Indeed, with Ecwid and at the appropriate prices for the services it provides, users can develop their online stores without the need to use programming consultants or help applications, as the support provided by Ecwid will help to overcome any problem that users may face at all stages.

Cons

I haven't experienced any distasteful things regarding its great potential to help set up online stores with minimal costs. But when we need to integrate it with one of the marketing platforms, we find it difficult and we need to complete this process for auxiliary applications, which becomes costly. I want improvements in this area so that we can market our store properly and at a low cost.

It has been good, better than my review probably implies. I do like the ease of use, the customer service, and wish we could afford more, but we will one day.

Pros

Actually, it was the customer service that rocks. Management has their hand in your pocket 24/7 nudging you to buy or upgrade. very annoying. Ths CS team does a great job, maybe they can send management home early soon.

Cons

Constantly having to needing to upgrade when some of these items should be included in the monthly fees. It is very hard to budget when it is necessary to buy an optional plugin or and unexpected item you thought was part of the package isn't and more money goes out the door for that instead of for the customer or potential customer.

Nella mia piccola impresa lo uso ormai da anni, senza aver avuto mai un problema tecnico, viene sempre aggiornato sia nelle funzionalità che nella sicurezza e offre un ottimo livello di assistenza. Per un paio di anni siamo stati anche partners come sviluppatori di siti web e ti danno una miriadi di strumenti.

Pros

La piattaforma permette in poche ore di pubblicare un sito di ecommerce molto funzionale con un costo di abbonamento abbastanza contenuto, inoltre offre molte possibilità di personalizzazione disponibili anche per utenti entry level.

Cons

Pur disponendo di molte app per espandere le funzionalità molte di queste hanno un costo di abbonamenteo decisamente alto rispetto al prodotto base.

My overall experience has been good as a newer small handmade business but as soon as I'm able to find one that can beat ecwid in price & features that i can trust I plan to switch but only because i need certain features for my growth & variations etc that I am not willing to pay even more than I already pay them now when i think they could give a little more effort in some areas. However I still love ecwid & I do recommend to small or micro businesses just starting out or businesses with little product.

Pros

What I love most about Ecwid is the blog of resources & the apps you can integrate with. & if your plan is high enough the taxes are calculated for you & updated automatically. I also enjoy the product variations but let me note again this is also something that requires an upgrade. While I do like my website, I also have coding in it that I used to make it better than what it is. I think its great for a smaller business or a business with limited products.

Cons

I do not like that variations is only available as an upgrade. I also am not a fan of some of the ways they just expect you to do your newsletter when they could of really made it much simpler. & my least all time favorite thing about them is the fact that I pay one of the highest plans & I can't even make a legit blog or forum technically on the same page which complicates a lot especially for beginners when they are just learning. trust me I was once there.

Pros

Through on a free trail plan; Ecwid provides all that beginners need to sell online easily; it user-friendly dashboard that allows you use built-for-you templates to descibe products, set prices, shipping methods and even ways to market your products. Ecwid comes with affordable plans, less fees and mainly many gateways for payment processing. Even if you are still unsure of selling online, Ecwid thought of connections and integrations to many third party apps and platforms, which allow dropshipping, an opportunity to start the journey.

Cons

Ecwid is not ideal for large businesses as it is less popular than many other platforms in this industry, namely Wix; it is less common if not inexistent in many countries, and of course, their currencies.

Very good and is my best choice for all e-commerce platforms

Pros

Ecwid is cheap, fluid and easy to use compared to shopify. The support team respond within a few minutes. The platform has good order tracking and inventory management system. It has a mobile version too but only for paying users. Management and overview are spectacular from the mobile version. You can also fulfill orders from the mobile version too. They also have a referral program that pays well. Over all 5 stars

Cons

Unlike Shopify that has a lot of developers on it thereby having more apps to integrate. Ecwid isn’t that filled with dev ops so certain add ons needed will need you to make a formal request from the support team which also incurs a feee but you can always use youtube if your coding skills are okay

La mia esperienza con ecwid in generale è positiva. lo strumento è facile da configurare e utilizzare e le potenzialità sono importanti.

Pros

Ecwid è uno strumento davvero versatile con il quale è possibile realizzare eCommerce completi a tutti i livelli. è particolarmente indicato per realizzare soluzioni eCommerce per le piccole imprese. ho trovato particolarmente piacevole utilizzare ecwid perché è semplice da utilizzare. Nel caso in cui bisogna realizzare un ecommerce complesso è possibile affidarsi alle potenti API messe a disposizione per realizzare soluzioni e integrazioni su misura.

Cons

come la maggior parte delle piattaforme commerce "pronte all'uso" difficilmente riesce ad offrire tutte le funzioni di cui si ha bisogno. In molti casi si dovrà quindi scendere a compromessi, acquistare plugin aggiuntivi o ricorrere allo sviluppo di funzionalità ad hoc. Fortunatamente Ecwid mette a disposizione delle versatili API che permettono di realizzare quasi qualsiasi cosa si possa immaginare.

One of the things that constantly worried us was the integration with our header site, with Ecwid we have successfully and in record time, integrate without difficulty or additional payments what our store needed. Besides, we get a complete platform to enhance our products to other business niches, participating in social networks with the full support they put at their disposal. Another solution, is that similar platforms like Shopify, offer you a service but you make constant payments of everything you use, if something comes out you should also pay for it, it's one of the things that makes us bet on Ecwid, because it does not have small letters, It is direct to what you need without tricks or additional payments outside the agreed upon. Thus, we have saved money that we end up investing in other needs of the company, or for the purchase of other exclusive products.

Pros

One of the things that I like most, is the simplicity that they offer to all their clients, it is one of those platforms that allow you to venture into e-commerce, without the worry of going through long training processes, it is as simple as register and start uploading all the products you have available to the platform. It is a platform that does not abandon you in the sales process, on the contrary, it puts at your disposal all the available channels so you can increase your sales. Another thing that I like, is to be able to reach new niche markets with integrated tools, you can create stores on Facebook and Instagram without difficulty, always with the Ecwid platform. Also, I liked how easy it is to integrate with WordPress, just install a plugin within the panel and voila, you can immediately publish your products.

Cons

I have been using Shopify for years, and I can say with responsibility, that Ecwid is the rival that in a short time will give a surprise to the world of E-commerce, I have no negative aspects to identify so far, on the contrary, it is simpler and more intuitive than its Shopify, a platform that causes a lot of headaches for many reasons.

Overall, Ecwid deserves special mention for its fully free plan and extensive multilingual selling capabilities. When it comes to SEO, though, there is some room for improvement. Ecwid is a simple, powerful way to add ecommerce capabilities to an existing website or to set up an online store on a Facebook page or other social media platform. There are better solutions available if you're constructing a separate site — I'd recommend Shopify or BigCommerce — but Ecwid does exactly what it says on the tin: it allows you to simply add ecommerce to any website. Ecwid is an excellent choice for small businesses since it is simple to use, offers a comprehensive set of ecommerce functionality, and is competitively priced.

Pros

Multi-currency selling is simple to set up (although you will need to pay for an app to do so). You won't have to worry about manually setting up state tax or VAT rules because tax rates are applied automatically. Ecwid can be easily integrated with major content management systems using plugins and apps. Ecwid offers a completely free plan that includes a lot of useful features. It allows you to have many language versions of your store. All plans have real-time carrier quoting capabilities. It allows you to have many language versions of your store. Cons

The SEO features might be improved. Ecwid does not allow you to generate AMP versions of product pages. Only iOS devices are compatible with the mobile POS integrations. You can't use any of the SEO capabilities in the free version. While the multi-currency capabilities is generally good, the local currency is not displayed at the last level of checkout. Truly, I have had no bad experiences with Ecwid. Their support, which I havent needed very often at all, has always been great and friendly. Their e-commerce features are exactly what I need to run my business, no complaints! In a word - Fantastic!

Pros

I started my online business with Ecwid. I'm very grateful to Ecwid for allowing me to set up a website free of charge at the beginning, letting us grow to the point where we could actually afford to stand on our own feet and begin paying for such a great service. The way Ecwid is set-up is so user friendly, I'm very pleased with their interface. Whats also amazing is that there are features I haven't even explored yet and cant wait to do so, hopefully soon.

Cons

It's honestly hard to say, perhaps there are some items I don't understand but I will check with Ecwid once I get a chance to. They are always helpful.

Reason for choosing Ecwid

Ecwid was offering a free e-commerce platform and they had everything I was looking for. Now that I'm on a plan I have even more features.

### "Best Online Shopping Cart System"

I've been with ecwid for years. It has been a great experience and easy to use. I started with the free version and as my business continues to grow I've upgraded my account twice to have access to features that grown my business even more.

Pros

I love the ease of tracking orders on my phone. I love that I can edit items on my phone and they will automatically be updated on my website. I love that the shopping cart system is easy to use for customers and if they abandon a cart they receive email reminders and sometimes coupon incentives to check out.

Cons

I do not love the lack of integration with my payanywhere payment system. so i have to do 2 separate accounting. . . but they do intergrate with clover which i no longer have.

the most thing I like with Ecwid is the price that is a little bit high, and I hope for Ecwid sometimes to make coupons or reduce fees for some period of time

### "Very nice online store but there is room for improvement."

Overall, Ecwid is a very nice store that allows a lot of customization. For some of the changes, I needed to contact support and change some CSS code to make it work but in the end, it is a very nice store. I looked into and tried Shopify in the past but very quickly realized this was not as easy as Ecwid for me.

Pros

I really enjoy the user experience as a whole. It is very simple to understand and get a store up and running. I use a built-in Ecwid plugin for a Duda website-building platform. So, it is like a 3rd party Ecwid store. Because of this, there are a few features that are missing but overall, you can still build a very nice online store. The framework and layouts are very easy to understand and use as well as you are able to customize many things on each page. The catalog page, single item page, checkout, and more.

Cons

One of my clients is a greenhouse and they have around 2,000 products. Until recently, there was no way to bulk change pricing or other features for select products which was a pain to have to change every product individually. Ecwid has made an update so this is possible which has saved about an hour of clicking and pasting which is awesome. However, there is still room for improvement. For example, there are additional buying options for some products, such as different sizes however, if you increase the price for the product but the large size/other buying options need to increase by a different size, that still has to be completed manually by changing each product itself which is very time-consuming. I contact support and they informed me that this could be done but I had to contact the developer and then purchase an app and pay for it monthly in order to complete this. I just needed to make this change once, so I don't want to pay monthly for something I need a couple times a year.

impactful features of app: - flexible subscription plans as per needs of businesses - excellent customer support - easy postage -regular updates to customer ease of use -compatible with clover, wix and wordpress -image uploading feature i experienced superb integration with existing offline business

Cons

missing features in the app: -recurring bill processing -limited order managing ability -costly to customise the ecommerce features -lacks global support in features like shipping very limited store design templates aspect difficult to use: -very hard to update url of my store - difficult to add product variation while inventory export its integration with existing business was seamless
