CEO Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Excellent software that lends itself to total customization" November 1, 2016 4.0 For the price, this shopping cart is amazing. What I like about it most are its options. I personally needed a shopping cart button, not a store. And when I noticed I could embed the button right onto my website and then have an awesome looking fully loaded shopping cart pop up for the shopper to see I was sold. You can get rolling really fast and then take some time reading all the help areas they have (and there is alot and it's EASY to understand) to customize functionality, buttons, colors, etc. Their customer service is phenomenal. I can jump on chat anytime and there is someone there to walk me through what I am trying to figure out. I have been SUPER impressed with that. So many other carts direct to to forums that are just littered with information you cant figure out. Pros What I like most is that ECWID is a complete package. They have all of the services that I need to serve my customers and make money through my website. The shopping cart and catalog is nicely displayed and clearly organized. ECWID also has great support staff that responds right away and does their best to help. Cons I don't particularly like the font that displays on my product info in my website through the ECWID catalog, but I am not sure if it is because I have not figured out how to change it or if it's just the default font. Pros I'm impressed by the constant innovation, ease of use, and the ability to insert a shop on any page of a website or Facebook. I was an early adopter of ECWID and it's been an absolute pleasure all the way. Cons I had a few issues in the early days but they are long since forgotten. Ecwid provided a fast, and efficient way for me to offer this to our members. So far sales and processing have gone smoothly. My boss is very happy! Pros I researched to find an ecommerce program that would integrate with both our current website provider (Wix) and our payment system (Clover). I found Ecwid through our payment system and was pleased that Ecwid worked with both Clover and Wix!! I found the set-up easy and user friendly. I remember having to reach out to the live chat support once and my question was answered and resolved quickly. Cons The only thing I found that Ecwid has not offered is including product variation information when exporting inventory. From what I understand, however, that particular feature is in development. It was very easy to download and install on our website. There have been a few features that we wish we had (I.e. Different options for discounts) and a few features that are difficult to figure out (I.e. Shipping options). However, overall we have been very happy. Ecwid integrated with our Facebook and is mobile responsive. Great option for a small business. As a novice web designer, it did not take much time for me to integrate Ecwid to my website and launch the Online store. Also it is quite simple to make changes to the Online Shop. Cons The administrator delegation features can be improved. As an administrator, I am not able to delegate functions, such as shipping and closing orders, to another individual. " October 26, 2016 5.0 About a year we changed our eCommerce cart over to Ecwid... and we LOVE IT! We currently have over 1500 unique products and our catalog is constantly growing! The first daunting task we felt we had to accomplish was to pull in our entire catalog; ecwid make this a breeze! Their (almost) unlimited shopping cart tool chest is well worth the money and time for this excellent shopping cart backend! We love it and plan on staying here for many years to come! Pros Ecwid is an easy to pick up e-commerce system. It provides all the features you would hope for in a web store, with easy to use solutions to most common problems. They have excellent support staff, who are always ready to help. It integrates easily with Paypal, Sagepay, Facebook, eBay and Amazon. Cons While the store is easy to set up, to get the best out of it you should probably have some knowledge of HTML and CSS. It can be somewhat inflexible in it's behaviour. Pros This has so far been the most convenient service to use for selling on Instagram. I run an online designer shop and Ecwid fits perfectly for my current business needs. Cons I am on the VENTURE plan, which is pretty cheap, but if I am planning to run an e-commerce site as well, then the budget kind of piles up. Nowadays you can use a website builder which will provide the Instagram selling tool with your site, so do the math, whatever fits your pocket. Pros I love how easy and intuitive Ecwid is. It offers many great features and yet the learning curve is minimal. Ecwid helped us offer our services on many social platforms, which we previously hadn't been able to do. Pros This software is almost plug and play. Very easy to use, so customizable, and it allows for brilliant graphics and interface responsiveness. I use this software for my own online store and I would highly recommend it. There is an app as well where you can sell and add or change products in your store. Cons The free version of this software allows way too little categories and products that can be added for online store. In order to get the most out of ECWID you need to spend quite a bit of money. I have spent that money and can say it is worth it. I would like to see more free products being able to be used in the free plan. I have been able to easily make very nice product displays. I would prefer some direct download capabilities, instead of having to setup Zapier, but it is OK. The PROMO coupons are easy to use. The system has been completely reliable. (I have used for about 1 year, do 3-4 transactions per day) I have no complaints! Pros Ease of use, product configs are easy and attractive, promos work well.
