January 9, 2018 5.0 Starting a new collection agency this software allowed me to grow as i needed and was so easy to use took a huge worry away. Pros Easy to use, and easy to teach new staff. I like how easy it is to jump between debtors screen and client managment Cons can be difficult and time consuming to generate reports as they have to be made they are not pre programmed. " January 9, 2018 5.0 Ease of use, ability to access all parts of the software anywhere anytime and the price. Pros Ease of access,-I can access it on Mobile, Tablet, Laptop and home pc. I have accessed it while on holidays overseas and even completed a monthend rollover while there. Simple interface- Windows friendly interface makes it easy to navigate to what i want and great service to support it- In 6 years have always been responded too withing 10 minutes of any issue and have never been left waiting. Cons I only have one small bug bear and it is when you go it to Case Manager and although you can see the My Lists tab it will go straight to Case file. I would rather the system stopped at the main pain and allowed you to make the choice than waiting for it to load case file and then requesting the the My List Tab. Pros Shopping for an alternative was a lot more enjoyable than trying to persevere with DebtCol. Cons The Customer Service is non existent. No one answers the phone and tickets are not followed up. Reason for choosing DebtCol Because the support was available locally. In the end this did not matter because they do not offer any customer support. Review Source RA Richard A. CEO Financial Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Easy to operate" January 9, 2018 5.0 Since getting this system I have a better functioning operation and I have more time on my hands from not having to have manual and additional systems. Now it's all integrated Pros Allows me to keep on top of the financial situation at all times. All emails per the particular debtor are all in that debtor's file. Being able to add notes is a plus as well. The diary system for payments is easy to use too. But what is good - is that I can go anywhere in the world and it's all right there. It is equivalent to taking all your files with you on the trip. Anyway, I love the system. Cons End of month is all too easy. It use to take me all day to do the statements and MYOB ledgers previously. Now, all I do is just push the button and it's all done. All clients have their statement and invoices. I still prefer to manually EFT the funds to their respective accounts - but that's my choice. All the information needed, for us to assist our Clients, in the recovery of overdue accounts, is quick & easy to access. The staff have always been very pleasant & helpful to deal with. Any questions/concerns, have always been dealt with in a very quick time. We have never been "held up", so we can deliver top service to our Clients. Pros First of all, the staff of DebtCol have always been VERY helpful & patient. When 3D Collections first starting using DebtCol, the service and training we received was excellent. We could not fault them at all. Cons I cannot fault DebtCol at all. It gives us all that we need to operate our business. DebtCol gave us a much needed boost in terms of overall company efficiency. Would recommend. Cons As a field agent it poorly displays current arrears, it often has connection errors, will upload a report and it will either not appear or sometimes it will appear 24-48 hours later. It is very customizable and focuses heavily on streamlining tasks which are very labour intensive. This allows team members to focus valuable time on other areas to improve productivity. Cons The software has a small learning curve, however, once you're familiar with such things as layouts and command prompt, everything is fairly straightforward. Cons Does not have spellcheck or html emailing. Also the prospecting module is not very useful and should be removed if it is not going to be developed. There are so many things you can do within the system that saves on time for any business owner. Our access to major decision makers who can amend the system in DebtCol allows us to utilise a system modified for our purposes with continued ability to upgrade/improve being a good but necessary option in today's fast moving environment. Probably for us the cost is less relevant than having an experienced industry operator to bounce ideas off. My only experience in debt recovery is via a DebtCol system; when I hear customer feedback I can only consider we made the right choice. Pros Ability to effect change quickly. Used the software for: ### "Great Debt Collection Software" April 28, 2017 5.0 I have been using Debtcol software for years (even under its former name of QRM) and have found it to be the most reliable and user friendly debt collection software that I have used in over 30 years in the debt collection industry . One of the other major reason why we use Debtcol is due to fantastic support that you receive.The team at Debtcol are completely compliant with debt collection and therefore understand what you want and need and therefore for example when request a certain report or letter etc you get what you want rather than what they think you want. Finally the reliability of the system is excellent we average about 2-3 hours down time per year.
