Pros I really like the way the images are organized - it’s clear and easy to navigate, with each set in its own folder. Cons I don't think the "tag" function works optimally. And it would be really great to have a feature that allows you to retrieve an image directly, rather than having to download it. So, for example, if you need an image for LinkedIn, it would be great to be able to pull it directly from Kontainer. Pros I really like how easy it is to search for and find the images I need. It makes the whole process quick and straightforward. Cons One thing I find challenging is that images can be difficult to find again if they haven’t been assigned enough categories or tags. An AI-powered search function could be really useful, allowing users to search for visual elements rather than relying solely on existing categories. For example, searching for “blue” could bring up all images containing blue, even if they haven’t been tagged or categorised that way. Pros You can download images into different sizes/formats and cross reference/file things well. I appreciate how much we can upload, and high res files can be stored. I love being able to type words and find our full archive in very fast efficient time. Everything loads so clearly and fast and that we can cross reference images by different categories. Cons I don't like how it logs me out fast in the process of work, and images are not updated if changed. I also find some of the permissions a bit complicated. The support team has also been very helpful whenever assistance has been needed. They keep integrating new features and when we ask about a feature or a workaround, they find a solution for it. Cons There are always small things you discover during a migration from an old system to a new one. Pros We have been using Kontainer for just over a year, and it has made a significant difference for us in terms of structure and overview, time savings, faster workflows, and stronger collaboration across our divisions. We would especially like to highlight: - User-friendly system with a clean and functional interface. - Excellent and practical design features, including font and color presets, the ability to create professional landing pages, folder design customization, and more. - The setup of automatic file tagging, based on data from our PIM system, making it possible to quickly find assets that previously required extensive searching. - The ability to control access to content and manage user permissions. - Easy sharing and downloading of content, with the ability to crop assets before download. - Fast, personal, and highly professional support from the Kontainer team. Cons Upload and download speeds could be improved. But we have not experienced many issues, and any challenges we have encountered have either been resolved with support from the Kontainer team or addressed through product updates. Switching from another PIM made me realise how easy and intuitive it is to manage a big catalogue with Kontainer. Pros Kontainer is super intuitive to use. Many functions and resources I can find and teach myself. The platforms graphic design is simple and not overloaded. Especially Kontainers bulk upload/download options make life easier. And whenever help is needed our key account manager responds quick and has a tailor made solution at hand. Cons Whatever customisation you wish, its possible to implement. Pros We have seven shopify markets, this would be rather hard to manage without Kontainer. Now we can handle all markets more or less from one place which is very helpful. Cons Sometimes it is unsure how long a jobline takes, there could be similar as the system error box a box that says how long it will approximately take for a jobline. It's important that while we, as administrators, have at lot of options, the end-user must get a simple overview, and I feel like Kontainer really succeeded in that. Pros I like the customization possibilities and how user-friendly it is. I also appreciate being able to assign specific permissions and share links that include those same permission settings. Cons The customization features feel a bit rigid and set in their ways. I’d really like more freedom and flexibility in that area, so I can tailor things more to my preferences. I would also love to see a "schedule" function, so I can pre-make the folders, and then schedule when they are visible for everyone. Pros Looks really nice from an end user point of view. Also somewhat flexible. Really good back office support as well. Cons The admin tool is nice, but it could be a lot more user friendly. Really missing a bulk import function ourselves. We use Lotte who is really quick, but for your own sake as well.
