Fotoassistent Retail Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Kontainer for picture storaing" April 5, 2024 4.0 Overall a very good user-friendly experience that lacked a fair number of features and had a number of bugs in the beginning, paired with a nice support-team, that makes every challenge possible to solve. Pros Kontainer works very smoothly and is in general easy to use and has a very user-friendly design and interface. Kontainer is very well suited for storing and sorting pictures, so it is easier for employees to find what they are looking for. Cons When we first started working with Kontainer, it took about a year before the most influential bugs were fixed, and the launch date fell much later than expected. The Kontainer-experience for us has not been a complete and done package, but more a "working-through-it-together" kind of thing, where there is always bugs that needs to be fixed, and features added. But this is also where Kontainer show a very positive side - their user support are very quick at responding and at helping and fixing your problems. Pros Kontainer has a nice interface which can be designed and changed in a lot of ways. The customer support is fantastic with a very short response time.New features and improvements are being added constantly. Cons Diferent search fields can sometimes confuse the user, especially when searching for article numbers. It´s nice to be able to download our content in different formats from one original file. When viewing the files in our drive, it takes alot of time to show up. But in Kontainer its easy to quickly see the avaliable content. Cons When opening a new folder, the old ones don´t close. Could be useful, but it makes it a bit unmanageable and confusing. Easy to give people access, easy to decide what they can/can't do. Pros Kontainer is easy to use and looks good too. If you have any questions, customer service is there to the rescue! Really appreciated :-) Cons It's not possible to add filters yourself. So if you want to change something, you need always to contact them. We use Kontainer to receive and share photos and video files for our solutions and Photoshop, Sketch and indesign documents for customers and business partners. We save time in the design and marketing department every day with Container. Pros Kontainer is an great tool for optimizing work processes, economical savings and for ensuring the best support for dealers and partners. Most of all, I want to highlight the high usability, performance speed and the delicious Nordic design. Cons We are currently missing. Integration to Hubspot and Campaign Monitor, but we hope it will be developed soon. Pros I love how intuitive and easy it is to use. Cons I'm not a part of the development or integration - I'm just a user with admin rights. But I don't feel there are any struggles for me using the image bank - sometimes there's a hiccup because our amount of content is extreme. But it very rarely happens that there's an issue, and I've always received help quickly, when necessary. Maybe once or twice in my one-two years as a user. Review Source LM Laura M. The design is very intuitive and has a lot of cool possibilities for customisation, so it fits our brand DNA. There is great Customer Support and always a helping hand, ready to investigate our issues. Cons The only thing I can think of, is that it is not yet possible for us to use our own Fonts in writing. We are in the process of registering a large archive, and so far, it is going well. Pros It has been nice to be part of the process through the construction of the database, allowing us to completely tailor it to our needs. And when we have needed to change or fix something, the response time is usually fast. Cons We would like the search function to be more flexible and detailed. We would like to be able to use boolean operators. The platform is visually great which makes it enjoyable to use. Although uploads may take a while, general use is so much faster than what we were using before. Cons The main feature that is missing is an app, which would encourage colleagues to upload more photos to the platform as it would be much easier. That gives me a asset in terms of securing that we make the same impact at the same time. Pros I like the easy upload and the fact that you can create either folders or albums. This is really helpful in terms of keeping all pictures in the correct folder and then just adding them to albums. Cons Somehow I find it really difficult to get an overview of permissions for each user, and I seem to always have problems sharing links with external partners. I don't like that shared folders can't be udated with new content without having to share a new link to the same folder. May 1, 2020 5.0 In addition to the easy file sharing, one of the biggest benefits of Kontainer is the way we use it as a shared archive with our customers, customers can easily find items from both current and past campaigns and therefore we avoid a myriad of emails and WeTransfer links Pros The most important thing about this product is how easy it is to share all the elements that are part of a production. We built a new ecommerce website last year and I used kontainer to organise all our images and product info before uploading to the website. Pros We use kontainer as a resource image library of all our products. I like that you can easily arrange and view by collections. Cons There is no ability to add a hyperlink in the description of each image. This function would be useful to link to our website. Reason for choosing Kontainer Ability to add more information in the description section for each image. Overall look is much better. We have added our logo and it looks more like a professional catalogue. We are also able to easily and safely share with our clients by giving login access with limited permissions. Helpfull people at KONTAINER if you have any questions. We don´t use it correctly as a PIM system - why it can be a bit complicated to work with. Would be better without all that manually work. But that's our problem. Pros It gives us an easy and good overview of the products and assets that our costumers needs. It's easy for them to search for a specific product and then find data, product info etc. Cons The different folder types can be a bit difficult to differentiate from each other. Cons I would love to have some templates I could click on and that would be the design. Often, we don't have time to design our portal.
