We engaged in a thorough RFI process in parsing down the providers that can meet our stringent requirements. Based on recommendations from access control industry contacts and reference calls with customers we selected Splan and I am very pleased with my overall experience. Splan is extremely customer focused and that has been transparent through all facets of our engagement with sales, professional services, engineering, and support teams. They are hyper-focused on end user experience. There is elegant complexity in the system background but most staff get a very simple intuitive view. If anything is off with end user experience, Splan gives it the attention and priority it deserves.

Pros

\- User friendly and intuitive interface for all use cases (hosts, visitors, operators, system administrators) - Powerful integrations framework including access control, 3rd party cloud to cloud, and custom connectors. Flexibility to adapt integrations into security governance and risk mitigation framework. - Innovative system architecture for navigating, managing, and tracking activity across different office locations across the globe.

Cons

We had a lot of complex requirements and onboarding took longer than hoped. That said we got everything in place and the system is running so smoothly that it was indeed worth the wait.

Pros

From the start, Splan sales and support were extremely helpful, tailoring the software to our specific needs. During the trial period, our ambassadors complimented its ease of use, with little training. As "issues" presented, Splan support were quick to make edits for us. Splan serves us well at IMG Academy.

I have no complaints to document. Splan delivered as promised.

We have evaluated nearly about 8 products and finally selected visitor management after proof of concept and I am very pleased with our purchase and splan visitor management system is far better than others.

Long hard fought battle to get system up; thanks to all those helped to get system deployed.

Pros

Modern look. When things working, have very little to do, to maintain system.

Cons

Notification template system very fiddly and manually intensive. WYSIWYG notification interface very simplistic & sometimes has parsing issues, so requires cut & paste from Notepad to strip out characters. Access control integration still having issues that under investigation. Some reports had to be requested, which are typically already implemented. Features get updated or changed without notice.
