Based on recommendations from access control industry contacts and reference calls with customers we selected Splan and I am very pleased with my overall experience. Splan is extremely customer focused and that has been transparent through all facets of our engagement with sales, professional services, engineering, and support teams. They are hyper-focused on end user experience. There is elegant complexity in the system background but most staff get a very simple intuitive view. If anything is off with end user experience, Splan gives it the attention and priority it deserves. Pros \- User friendly and intuitive interface for all use cases (hosts, visitors, operators, system administrators) - Powerful integrations framework including access control, 3rd party cloud to cloud, and custom connectors. Flexibility to adapt integrations into security governance and risk mitigation framework. - Innovative system architecture for navigating, managing, and tracking activity across different office locations across the globe. Cons We had a lot of complex requirements and onboarding took longer than hoped. That said we got everything in place and the system is running so smoothly that it was indeed worth the wait. Pros Modern look. When things working, have very little to do, to maintain system. Cons Notification template system very fiddly and manually intensive. WYSIWYG notification interface very simplistic & sometimes has parsing issues, so requires cut & paste from Notepad to strip out characters. Access control integration still having issues that under investigation. Some reports had to be requested, which are typically already implemented. Features get updated or changed without notice. Excellent support team, meets all my security and compliance standards, improved visitor experience. Pros I am so glad to replace legacy visitor management with Splan and we are very happy using the system for more than a year. Many of our visitors and employees share their happiness and positive feedback about Splan visitor solution. Our employees like very much of Splan visitor SigninEasy mobile app. We have started using deliveries module from splan and we are able to cut down half of our administration time and never lost a package. Cons Excellent product but seem be less marketing activities. I have evaluated 10 other visitor systems before I select and other vendors do heck of marketing for low quality product. Driver License Scanning and Business Card scanning to quickly register the visitors more securely. 3rd party integrations to provide seamless and holistic view across the offices. Data segmentation for visitors across the office locations and tenants. No install on client workstations and easy to migrate from other legacy visitor management system.
