It’s not a super advanced software but it does the job pretty well.

Pros

Has lots of features for a basic recruiting software. Everything runs pretty smoothly and it is relatively easy to navigate. I like being able to create custom views on my different pages.

Cons

It’s a little clunky and outdated... some functionalities are buried in areas that don’t make sense, which can ruin the flow of working. However, if you know where to look, you can work around it.

What I like most is their customer service. They are always nice and try to help you at any time. They are the best!

Cons

What I like the least is the look & feel. It looks old. They should update it. But I dont think they are going to do it soon.

It is an applicant tracking system that I started using regularly (after intensive training) in June 2016. The software is pretty user friendly, once everything is set up. It took them a while to start the training (not sure if it was circumstantial or if this is regular practice). Then, it took a little while to get everything set up for the connections between the PCR and the web and email extensions. Once all is set up, it’s relatively easy to utilize, however gets a little cumbersome when you need to make changes or add fields, etc and training is a must.

Pros

Great features! Has everything you need in a staffing agency ATS system

Cons

Cumbersome and time consuming to set up and get ready (between working with the software company training and set up team and own team ...it took about a month and a half, it also takes time to make changes or add fields

We have been using PCR for 6 years now and wouldn't change a thing. the platform is easy to navigate and also easy to teach other people how to use it. The updates are highly anticipated and we appreciate that the support team really LISTEN to our needs. The depths of PCR seem endless - there is no limit to what you can do.. At times it can be a little too technical to get to where you need to be, but with PCR support its doable.

Pros

Very responsive and able to get us started in a short amount of time. The software is very user friendly and easy to understand.

Cons

We had expressed interest in having an automatic posting to external sources like we had with our previous ATS. We were told they partnered with LogicMelon for that and it was supposed to be affordable. After getting a demo, we found out it was double the cost of the ATS, so it is unfortunately not an option for us. That means manual posting to multiple sites which is very time consuming.

good to store information about both candidates and client companies and hiring managers. Good tool for multiple users to see each others activity.

Cons

Sometimes it was slow or would go offline, we used it a couple years ago, so this could have been resolved by now.

Pros

This is a very comprehensive product with a ton of functionality. Some of the strengths are the intuitiveness of tracking candidates through the pipeline, their templates, their very tight integration with Outlook, their on-boarding training and their customer service. They have some great people over there and they're all very professional, responsive and helpful.

Cons

The biggest downside for me is that although any email you receive through Outlook will automatically be synced with the candidate or contact record as long as there's an email address match, there's no way to turn this off, and there's no way to force a sync of that email with a different record. For example, if I am corresponding with a hiring manager about multiple candidates, I don't want all of those emails attached to the hiring manager's record because I won't be able to find anything later when I need it. What I want is to be able to attach that correspondence to the respective candidate it pertains to. This was a show-stopper for me, but they have a large customer-base so apparently it isn't for a lot of people.

Tie in's to LinkedIn, Ring Central, Resume Inhaler.

Cons

I've found it very hard to delete Industry Codes that were automatically part of the PCRecruiter Default without doing it one by one. Unfortunately, there are 987 codes and it's taking me way too long. I need to call, because it's probably my mistake; there has to be an easier way that I don't know about.

The PCRecruiter software is intuitive and easy to learn. The staff was outstanding in transferring our existing data into their format. Training was interactive and assisted us in quickly being able to get right to work after the conversion. On-going support or questions have been timely. The website interface and parsing tools have saved hours of work. I highly recommend this product.

I can't think of any other database program I would want. On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 11+.

Pros

I have been a user of PCR since 1994. I have been in the Recruitment Industry for almost thirty years and have had much exposure to the different products. At one time I even had a custom database written for our needs. However, PCR offered and offers a very comprehensive, extensive and exemplary product. There is virtually nothing that I would add. The ability to utilize mass email communication and integrate with our website has increased our revenue tremendously. One of the best features is the customer support. Issues are resolved almost immediately and the staff of Main Sequence is always readily available to address any issues we have. Main Sequence's Webmaster, Andrew Rothman has been a saviour to our company. There is no competition when you are the best!

Cons

The product isn't overly expensive and has everything you need with regards to tracking, reporting and connectivity. But you need to know the "ins" and "outs" to navigate effectively and efficiently. In today's world, most ATS's can be used with little or no training. Not the case here. We are opting to change directions after about 6 months of fumbling around with PCR.

i am a consistent user of PCR , the way data is layed is good, it is very user friendly you can make the layout changes the way you want and search feature is also very easy. the cutsomer support is very helpful. the concern i have faced till now is for the recyle data in recycle bin.

the product is very easy to use, no complex things. what i like the most is systematic way things are placed.

Cons

recycle bin , things in recycle bin need more features so that if required we can pull back those complete or maximum data at one go.

Pros

High customizable and can usually adjust to your particular workflow, rather then works theirs. Pipeline functions very good.

Cons

User interface is dated and there needs to be more quick action options. It does no sense what device you are on and does not work well on tablets. Need a reporting system that can much more flexible and offer some data analytics and dashboard functions.

Pros

The most interesting thing is that it's not very cluttered with lots of information and choices. There are few things that are laid down as given but are helpful in making it more easy to comprehend. It is well-integrated with our website and makes data integration smooth. Finding the source of information is clearly demarcated.

Cons

It takes a while to understand the flow and to learn the features that can be imbibed with the information. Lot of things, in spite the fact that the training is over, are yet not known to me, and as I put forth my questions to the technical support, I get to learn new features that were not told in the training session. The technical support is fast and helpful. Sometimes, you don't know when you do something, and that comes out as a different end result, and you get stuck as to what went wrong.

Last year I spent a great deal of time evaluating cloud based tracking systems. I have been recruiting for 22 years and have experience with a few providers' recruiting software solutions. I evaluated several solutions and narrowed my search down to three companies. We looked at ease of use, price point, functionality and technical support as the key criteria in making our decision. I can tell you unequivocally, PC Recruiter was the best solution for our firm. Easy enough to use "out-of-the-box", yet robust enough to allow for customization to suit the needs of our firm. The technical support has been very responsive, professional and consistent. I am very happy with our decision and could not be more pleased with PC Recruiter. If you are evaluating software solutions for your firm, I am confident that you will be as pleased as we are with the product and the people at PC Recruiter. I had been with Bullhorn for 20 years and saw the functionality decrease over time, while the monthly costs tripled. This May, they ended Inbox support so I switched to PC Recruiter, which was a 60% monthly cost savings with far better functionality, including the ability to incorporate social Media, LinkedIn and Facebook, into contact data.
