The software has enabled my business to grow through the roof and fosters our growth by providing a variety of features to help track anything/eveything you want. The training team, led by Stacy, is exceptional and there is not a question they cannot answer. Pros Very easy to use and simple for beginners to learn. Principal Staffing and Recruiting Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Powerful but outdated" November 4, 2016 3.0 After trying PCR for a few months we decided to go back to our old ATS. There is no question that PCR is powerful, but it is probably too powerful for the average user. I need my recruiters to be successful quickly, and there is certainly a large learning curve. We also all agreed that tasks took much longer in PCR and a lot of modern shortcuts were missing. I think PCR could be great with continual development to keep things fresh and modern. An overall UX/UI facelift is badly needed. More integration partners would also be nice. I will say that customer service was wonderful. They really worked with me to make it work, but there were some things my organization simply could not overcome that cost us valuable time. I do wish they had refunded my setup fee, which was supposed to be for website integration... we never got that far. Pros Very customizable, easy CSV data import, good email integration. Cons Every task takes a long time, and there is no way to quickly screen through candidates in a pipeline. Customization is great, but finding where to customize is not intuitive. It also lacks modern interface and continued development seems slow. No trial period. It is also quite all-encompassing. Cons Can be finicky and tedious, especially when switching over to a different ATS. Also is hard to delete a company profile without deleting all of its employee profiles and contents. The support staff is excellent and very responsive, as is their training staff (special shout out to Nick Mazzone, who is great!). In addition, they keep coming out with new features and functionality that continue to make our recruiters and sales staff more efficient. Their Two Minute Tuesdays instructional videos are great for helping us to continue to take advantage of all the features. It takes a lot of time to upload all the information about each and every candidate to this system. Everything has to be put manually, if the layout of the resume is not standard the system does not recognize the right information and then all that wrong info has to be changed manually again. When I look for some candidate who I know for sure is in the system PCR tells me sometimes that this person is not found. Also what is not convenient is that it doesn't collect resumes from the job boards. The layout is a bit complicated, you have to open every window separately, so when you open the candidate's page you can't see the whole info right away, you have to open notes and then if he had an interview you have to go to those notes to find out the feedback. This system does not save your time, but takes a lot of time to use, for no reason. Pros The only think I like about PCR is that it can capture profile from LinkedIn. Cons Everything has to be put manually, if the layout of the resume is not standard the system does not recognize the right information and then all that wrong info has to be changed manually again. Pros I like that I am able to send mass bulk emails all at once. Cons I wish there was a way to link our candidates to an excel sheet or have a better way to query tracking of candidates. I think this is the best one for recruiters out there. Pros The addons and ability to quickly add candidates from a pipeline sales perspective and recruitment perspective has allow us to identify someone and capture it quickly. This means we can capture, add notes, reach out, move to the next one with ease. Cons Although the recruitment side of it is great, the sales pipeline and reporting is not as great. I do however use it for such and found some great ways to help. I use this as my daily driver for sales of new business. I was pleasantly surprised by the user friendliness of PCR and how easy the change was. The custom-ability is definitely the best part. Cons There are a few things I would like changed that are hard programmed where you can't.... but overall we love it. Reason for choosing PCRecruiter Price and the custom features.
