Pros As a property manager I find the best part of Condo Control is the satisfaction our customers feel when they realize they are able to access the system, make updates and check on documents/notices 24/7 on the go, at home and anywhere! Their customer service excellent. Their response to our questions is excellent. Overall, their customer service is the best we ever dealt with. Pros Very easy to set up and use. Great features that allow you to customize to what you need. User guides that help our residents use this software. Cons We haven't found anything significant yet. When I think of Condo Control I think of professionalism, efficiency, positive growth and great support. That is a full package service! Keep up the great work! Pros Residential Database and Purchase Order modules are easy to use, provide good features and reports that are very helpful to run a building. But what I truly love about CCC from early on in my days working with this service is the willingness and openness of the CCC Team and \[sensitive content hidden\] to take Managers' suggestions to improve improve the system. It is such a pleasure dealing with the whole Team! Thank you all for all that you do! Cons Well that is a tricky question, I like all features of CCC; but every system has room for improvement. I would like to see a few improvements with the Purchase Orders, like being able to print off a copy without opening new windows; or being alerted to duplicate invoices, but being as pro-active as they are I know the Team is working on this already! Reason for choosing Condo Control The Residential Databases were already on site when I joined the different portfolios I was assigned to. If I had to make a choice, CCC is from the neighborhood, on top of being a great service, so I would gladly choose CCC. Switched from [BuildingLink](https://www.capterra.com/p/114529/BuildingLink/) I typically haven't made the choice (developers have, or the site is established and the system were already in place. However, at one site they had Building Link, which has a lot of great features too, but it is different and not quiet as user friendly. October 5, 2023 5.0 I've been working with Condo Control over two sites in the past 5 years. It has been easy to maneuver and I've appreciated the updates and new apps/features added as new demand/needs are brought up. I use this site daily, from looking up occupancy contacts to purchase orders, to asset management features. Pros Our Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], is our superstar. I have worked with her over 2 different condominium corporation's that I manage. She is always very helpful to navigate our needs and open up modules that will benefit us. Condo Control itself is pretty simplified and easy to use overall. Cons The purchase orders could be updated to be a little more "user friendly" so that we can actually type in product or service description. They also print on two pages unnecessarily. I also would recommend updating the way we input contractors/companies - as it's a little silly to have to keep importing on excel with no way to delete duplicates. Each building is assigned a support person who you can reach out to for support and they provide one on one video instruction to help guide you. I have only had a positive experience with CCC. Pros CCC is user friendly both as the administrator (Property Manager) as a regular client (Resident). It assists with organizing the constant communication flowing through my email inbox and ensures all tasks are tracked until completion. Cons There is nothing negative that I can say about this software. Cons There were two Cons:1) Under the "Announcement" section, the subject title was restricted to fewer characters.Update: This issue was improved with a much longer subject title to fit the title and dates.2) Under the "Announcement" section, it was not possible to upload a notice in picture format on the message section.Update: Thank you for allowing this feature to work! =) Reason for choosing Condo Control I've used 2 other management services in other buildings.Condo Control had a great pricing than others. It allows us to produce reports and search information easily. Pros Nice that residents can log in and change their profile information themselves to keep us updated. Also good to be able to see history of a suite (amenity bookings, parcels received, violations etc) Cons There are some features where it would be nice as an administrator to do a select all and then update particularly if a predecessor has not kept up with closing service tickets or incident reports. The video tutorials also were very helpful in teaching me about all the different functions that are available for use. Although we do not use every single function Condo Control has to offer, it is great that the options are still available in the event that they are needed further down the line. As a Security personnel, the Security and Concierge tab is very well done. They layout is very easy to understand and navigate. Sometimes we have a lot of people come and go, as such, having something that is simple to use makes it easy when trying to teach someone with zero experience. Cons Based on the functions that the building uses on a daily basis, my biggest issue with Condo Control is lack of sorting options for things like particular Incident Reports based on Category. The announcement allow us to prepare and send memos right away or delay, this way we can prepare memos ahead of time with the guarantee it will be sent at the right moment. Pros This software is easy to manage, is saving a lot of emails management and we can track and find more info on all the requests from residents. All resident can communicate their maintenance request, access to the corporation document, they can be notified about what can impact them..etc... and now, the resident can use condo control to do a safety deposit or a payment. This save a lot of back and forth with cheque or cash. All these features are time saving for me! Cons I would like to be able to create and inventory report on items we sell. Features are being added but slowly. Not yet transitioned to using credit card payment or proxy/e-vote collection on the site. Pros Fairly easy to use, though not crazy about the fact that "people" and "units" got mixed together, but you get used to it. Decent options for creating emails or documents on the site and choosing where these should go. Improving with being able to add photos etc. Cons No alerts for bulletin boards or classified ads, though I have been asking for this "feature" for 3 years! As a client first organization, our product is directly shaped by the feedback we receive from our clients. Our rational behind limiting alerts in our Discussion Board & Classified Ads modules is to ensure that residents don¿t unsubscribe from our emails as a result of being inundated with emails every time someone creates a new thread or posts a reply. If residents unsubscribe from emails associated with CCC then they would also no longer receive email notifications for vital updates from their property management team. Only small parts have been implemented to date. Pros Provides timely owner communication to all owners with an account. Cons Not all owners feel the need to register with CCC. reading notices seem to be a two step process. 1) get an email from CCC, then 2)log into CCC to see notice. Our condo complex uses it to communicate with our tenants and owners. The features we use the most are announcements, service requests, amenity bookings, unit file, make a payment, store, and the library. Cons Not that I can think of. Both from the perspective of an owner and from that of a Director, I find it the perfect solution to our communication as a corporation, both to our owners and to each other on the Board, as well as to managment. Pros Before we had Condo Control Central, it was difficult, as an owner, to learn about condo life, to understand what documents were important and how they were important. Communication from property management was also a problem. Now, as a board director, communication with owners and tenants is vastly improved. All important documentation is easily available to those who need it. Reporting Service Requests is easy, and the Board has the ability to track these requests to ensure managment is following up. Cons I would like to see the User Guide displayed as a more prominent icon somewhere up under the bar where the notifications icon is. Many of our owners are not all that tech savvy and find websites awkward and difficult to understand. A prominent icon for the User Guide that they will see immediately upon log-in would be ideal.
