Comments: I would recommend been due to any business owner who is looking for a point-of-sale system. It is easy enough to use that any of your employees can learn it quickly.

Pros: The thing I like most about Bindu is the customer service. They are very quick to get back to you, and resolve any issue promptly and accurately. The software contains all of the aspects of running a business, including a time clock, and most importantly very good inventory control program.

Cons: When I first started up with Bindo, they had not experienced working with a drugstore, healthcare company before. Therefore I had to load much of the inventory myself in the beginning. They did however ramp up very quickly and were able to help me in this aspect of the business rapidly.

Comments: Been with bindo for two years and will be leaving. Prices are ridiculous compared to industry average. Will bump up your price drastically afterwards.

Pros: Ease of use when system is not down. Not much positive remarks about this company. They will make many promises but fail to deliver.

Cons: Customer service is awful! Very arrogant and they do not care. Constant updates that mess up the system for days. I have had to close the store because system did not work. One of the updates included gift card reprogramming. As a result all outstanding gift cards became invalid. So many other problems.

Comments: We've been with bindo for three years and now we're FINALLY switching over to a better system, Bindo charges way more than it is worth.

Pros: Simple to figure out, but once your company gets up and running and gains some momentum, you'll probably want to change to a different one.

Cons: Glitches often, deletes things randomly from the inventory, sometimes it just closes, doesn't integrate

Comments: we need more support I think that since we got the new system its been a headache to talk to someone

Pros: when it works its great it does not freeze and the Ipad are nice to have to walk around with and do my menus

Cons: to may down times some times it just freeze during the middle of lunch sometimes drives us crazy need a better

Pros: Pretty Straight Forward, if you have common sense, you can use this POS. Been using for a little over a year I think and overall, a nice POS system, seems like they are continually updating their product, so kudos!

Cons: The reports are a little confusing at times, get conflicting numbers. Sometimes it times out, not super difficult things to fix, I think still working out bugs.

Pros: The one click orders are easy and it's easy to edit the bin. The interface looks clean and it's easy to teach

Cons: It's difficult to search for refunds from awhile back. Needs a custom cash received rather than 3 options and tender

Comments: Mostly a good fit for our business. although it could use some enhancements to its user interface and reporting.

Pros: data collection and retrieval, gift cards, credits...

Cons: Slow at times and poor user interface, cannot run yearly vendor sales reports...

Comments: The system looks good and is intuitive to use... unfortunately thats about it for positive feedback... this system might be good for a restaurant. I cannot speak for that, but for retail, there is a lot to be desired. Its kind of a lot to get into... beyond that, the system crashes a lot. A LOT. I have had the entire system crash while I was in the middle of a sale 3 times over the course of a month that we have been using it. Luckily we purchased 2 registers because I have had to switch out my entire register to the backup just to complete a sale with my customer standing there waiting. If I did not have a back up register, I would be losing so many sales. On Saturday, my register crashed and I could not get it to work again for 6 hours... which brings me to customer service. The customer service agents are nice. They are able to help fix issues... sometimes. They will not answer the phone on weekends but there is a in app messaging system that they will answer. Often times they do not seem to have answers to our questions and will claim that "no one has ever had this problem before" or "our internet is too slow" This has been the answer to questions we have asked countless times. Other times, we ask questions and just don't ever get an answer. They will just stop responding... its frustrating and unprofessional.

Pros: looks good

Cons: crashes all the time, customer service does not know what they are doing

Recommendations to other buyers: This system has potential if they would fix the glitches or even acknowledge that they exist, but until then I would not recommend this system.

Comments: The Bindo POS, like many other cloud-based POS systems, is equipped with the basics. Inventory management, time-clock, multiple store capabilities, and inventory transfers. To add to that list, they also have an incorporated CRM. Unfortunately, our experience with Bindo POS was not the best. If you're in any way serious about running a business, Bindo POS does not supply the data necessary to make informed decisions on reordering and managing inventory. Their interface is beautiful and very easy to use, however you're limited once you hit the desktop. Bindo POS is optimized for tablet use. Simple functions like exporting reports and managing inventory are not easily done on a desktop. We also encountered many errors in inventory tracking, which is a NIGHTMARE. Transfers, Purchase Orders, and Sales sometimes did not log or disappeared. We purchased an iPad just to use in the office. Bindo POS has the framework and design to be one of the best retail POS software programs around.

Pros: - UX - Ease of Use (Tablet Only)

Cons: - Not Desktop Friendly - Support (Seems like they're contracted and don't actually work for Bindo POS) - Inadequate Reporting - Bare-Essentials CRM - Iffy Inventory Management (Buggy and not always reliable)

Recommendations to other buyers: We wouldn't recommend Bindo until it is fully optimized for desktop and their inventory issues have been resolved.

Comments: I like everything about Bindo, but i wish i could make small changes to the inventory from my computer without downloading inventory, making the changes, then uploading it

Pros: Love that you guys actually finished the Woocommerce integration. Love the reporting. Servers always seem to be up, only issues encountered were from my internet provider.

Cons: Limited usage with computer, seems like everything needs to be done on the iPad

Comments: Great reports and an easy interface. The price is right. An unsolved glitch in software for combo power supply/digital input- output. It stopped charging the iPad. It's still not fixed. Our staff must plug in an Apple charger at nite, or the iPad will run out of charge.

Pros: Support staff is great. We are very happy with the variety of reports.

Cons: Just that one glitch described in the review.

Comments: I like Bindo and most of its features. I do however have some issues with Bindo. One of our biggest issues is printer connectivity, especially the blue tooth printer. I believe the blue tooth version has been discontinued. Another issue that I've noticed is that it takes a long time for software updates. The current problem that is taking a long time to update is the iPhone app. It doesn't work properly and hasn't been fixed for about a year. You cannot pull a report on the phone app or anything accept view current gross sales. I have called in with issues that need to be resolved on the retail POS and some most of our concerns have never been resolved. It appears that the DEV team doesn't consider individual case by case problems serious. They only make changes they see fit for the masses and they don't fix issues for each store.

Pros: Ease of use.

Cons: DEV team/company does not seem to have any sense of urgency to make software logic changes to meet the needs of its customers. They need to add some serious retail experience to their DEV team that really understands how retail works so that their logic is written more flexible. Especially on the permissions side of the software.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would recommend Bindo but test it out completely to ensure it will meet all your needs. If you find that you need to make changes to Bindo it may take years for any request to be granted and implemented. Bindo needs much improvement in this area and I believe this is the major drawback to an overall good system.

Comments: Overall Bindo is a relatively easy application to use. Most of the tabs are pretty self-explanatory. If for some reason you have a question about how to do something in regards to the application, they have how-to videos and explanations. You can also contact customer support. They're normally on the ball, they've come a long way from when we first started using the application. Much faster response times.

Pros: Ease of use, relatively fast, if there is down time they fix things pretty quick!

Cons: Longer customer support hours, being a business we are open later than customer service. That's when things will normally go wrong. Murphy's Law Not a huge fan of the change done to the Sales Summary Report, when I export it, the currency fields are now number fields. Try to format back to currency and have to go into each cell and fix it to become currency again.

Comments: Other than internet issues, ability to print reports, and the system itself having errors. I have had not major problems with the system. I do like the user-friendliness of the app. My employees are quick to learn the system since they are familiar with Apple. I like that I can access the store, including inventory, from the computer while the store is in operation.

Pros: Great for employees and staff with apple experience. Chat feature available inside app to help with questions

Cons: Time-consuming to set up the store. Some features in accounting not available. All items rely on the internet and Bluetooth, which is not always dependable.

Comments: Bindo is a great system. we use it at where I work and its great because we can search for all of our items within just a matter of a click, our accountant can manage the store anywhere on the go.

Pros: Great customer support. cloud based storage system compatible with tablets Easy to use UI

Cons: If you have slow internet I wouldn't recommend it. 1. It constantly sends back and forth data all the time and it requires additional time to process data. 2. Sometimes purchases if your internet speeds are low, will not charge on your end, but will still charge the user. 3. Inventory management nightmare for untitled items.

Comments: Bindo has been my retail clothing shop's POS program for two years now. It's very easy to learn and to use (I've checked other mobiles out and had used hard-drive systems for 15 years prior. Does it have its glitches? Sure, what wireless program doesn't. Nonetheless, I've never lost data, it's mobile and full info can be accessed from various devices; customers are impressed with the technology (ha, which makes me look really with it); and Bindo support is quick to answer questions.

Pros: Easy access to inventory and sales data, off-site mobility, report and functionality updates, matrix ability inventory, easy interface with printers, scanners, credit card processors, etc. Free hardware offered with a 3-year contract, and flexible financing available.

Cons: There's a limited number of printers (both receipt and labels) that that can interface, and updates can cause some hardware issues. Nothing that's a deal-breaker, though. Many many reports are available but could use more that are specifically toward a clothing retailer, such as matrix bundling in sales reports. Hopefully, that's one of the constant updates.

Recommendations to other buyers: Know that you're getting a mobile POS system that will meet your needs, and know that there will probably be some glitches along the way, but they can be ironed out.

Comments: This is a good product for basic users retail users. They are consistently updating the software. but the original promise is yet to be realized. They are not emv certified as of date. The marketplace is not in place. Reporting needs to get better and give user more options.

Comments: Our experience has not been what we expected when we signed for this POS system. Trouble with downloading the app, lost connection frequently, constant freezing of the app, still not being CHIP COMPATIBLE, having to purchase brand new IPads in order to get the system to work and trouble with the interface when an update occurred.

Comments: We have used this system for just over a year now. We find it to be easy to navigate and generally runs fairly smooth as a pos system. We do find lots of bugs between inventory and the register and the accounting reports are often hard to match up. By that, I mean it is difficult to tell what data is used for a given number and those numbers rarely seem to match with other accounting reports within the same system. A few outages, but nothing too major on that front. The loyalty points feature is nice and having a customer facing display is a big plus for our business.

Recommendations to other buyers: Run through a full demo of the product as best you can. Many 'coming soon features' will not happen near as quickly as promised, so be aware of that. Still, a decent system if it suits your needs in its current iteration.

Comments: We use Bindo to manage our retail wine and spirits business. Personally, I have used 3 or 4 POS over the last 10 years and the features here can't be beaten. The ease of use in regards to managing inventory and customer profiles are excellent.

Pros: Customer service is excellent and very helpful. The system is intuitive and efficient to learn if you take advantage of the Learning Center and online chat resources.

Recommendations to other buyers: Having a good working knowledge of how to use an iPad is helpful whenever you have to run updates.

Comments: We use Bindo in a Multi-store liquor store chain. Over the years the features and system have become very good.

Pros: The POS is very intuitive and clean. All new hires learn the system within their first shift. Inventory management is good.

Comments: The Bindo POS program and system has been a great find for our store. It allows us to do many things that weren't possible with standard cash registers or would have cost too much with many other POS systems or software. On top of that, the customer service has always been top-notch, with quick replies to any questions we might have.

Pros: Ease of use, options for product creation, and many options for pricing, discounts, and other options needed for ease of use by the register workers.

Cons: Loss of some function when WiFi goes down.

Recommendations to other buyers: Definitely take a look at Bindo POS if you need a quality POS system with many features you would expect to see in more expensive systems.

Comments: We use this product in our company retail store and it has allowed us a ton of flexibility in how we operate our business. We are able to be completely mobile with this solution either in our building or remotely which has been great!

Pros: We love the online dashboard that gives us access to our POS system remotely.

Cons: We do not like that the product does not allow for negative amounts for a product. We give back product deposits which sometimes occur without a purchase and the system currently only allows for a discount to be given.

Recommendations to other buyers: This product is a no-brainer for any small or medium size business.

Comments: I was not a fan of Bindo. I was excited about all of the possibilities that the POS offered. I wasn't impressed with it when we finally started using it. I do not know if it was because of our wifi service, but it was not a reliable product for us.

Pros: The ability to track my business sales and keep a data base of customers. We own a large auto detail company with a main location and 2 mobile units that are out in the field. Now we can eliminate paper recipes and join the new age of technology. This software has changed the way we do business and made operating our company easier.

Cons: Nothing. The team at bindo has been there for me from start to finish. When I first started with the software they personaly walked me through every step

Pros: The person who sold us is readily available but I feel bad for him, we encounter problems all day long. This app is probably the worst app in the world.

Cons: Once one thing is semi-fixed, another problem occurs. Numbers are inaccurate, system constantly shuts down in the middle of sales, no real customer support or training offered. Just constant communication back and forth. Very much so like a start up and feels like we're their first customer. If we are their guinea pig, they should offer us so much more for all the sales we lose daily.

Recommendations to other buyers: DO NOT PURCHASE FOR YOUR RESTAURANT, YOU WILL LOSE OUT ON A LOT OF SALES AND FRUSTRATION. THIS SOFTWARE NEEDS A LOT OF WORK.

Pros: Bingo could be a really great POS if it worked properly. Sadly though is does not work the way it should. I have constant issues. I like being able to attach photos to products and be able to see what my customers are purchasing but all the other problems outweigh this feature.

Cons: It does not work like it should. Very inconsistent constantly shuts down sometimes right in the middle of a sale.

Recommendations to other buyers: DO NOT INVEST IN THIS SOFTWARE. It has way too many problems that are not being addressed.

Pros: the ability to have reasonably priced pos system for a start-up is a big plus so you can keep tighter control inventory,employees,orders,etc...

Cons: software is buggy and it becomes frustrating when you have re-do your work again and again,also their customer service weak.

Recommendations to other buyers: well it really comes down to how flexible and patient you are willing to be.

Bindo is great - use it in two liquor stores, great inventory mgmt

Pros: Product is very easy to use so I don't have to spend a lot of time training employees on it. Inventory is flexible, I have over 5,000 products in one of my stores and the system manages it well. The customer profiles are also good, having the ability to save a credit card on file for a customer is useful.

Cons: Occasionally I run into bugs, but the customer service is helpful and I can reach them if I have questions. No major issues so far.

Pros: We were sold this system based on the fact that the back of house restaurant printing features would be up and running by Oct 1st. So we purchased it and for our bookstore and cant use either. We have tried and get no where with time frame for roll out and our Salesman has just walked away and claims you had 14 days to return so sorry.

Cons: In the sales process talked with salesman every day. Was sold a system that to this day still does not have the new software promised. We are trying to return everything and move on but they say we are past our 14 days. When they new we would not even have the new upgrade till after that. No date for the roll out even as of today.

Recommendations to other buyers: Buyer beware as they sell it and dump you to customer service and that has not been at all useful for answers. We have been trying to return equipment and software and our salesman is like sorry but no. We haven't even taken all but test station out of the boxes.

Pros: Once you are set up, the program is very easy to use. For basic cashiering it is intuitive and requires very little training.

Cons: Lack of customer support - no humans available when a major system problem arises that can't wait hours for a call back, major software update released without proper testing or proper warning for customers to update during non-business hours, product documentation severely lacking and not updated when system updates change procedures, there are "buttons" to export report data, however they don't work...

Recommendations to other buyers: Look into customer support - do they have a live person answering your questions or do you need to wait for a call back.

Comments: Pros
- the inventory updating and management process is very easy to use with the barcode scanning system
- I like that it automatically captures my customers' information when they make a purchase
- sometimes we do outdoors events, trade shows, beer expos, etc, so being able to bring our iPad with us and use it as a register is very useful

Cons
- I wish this could also be used for Android devices, but we're pretty happy with using our iPad so far

We use Bindo for two of our liquor stores since Bindo was one of the few POS systems we looked at that supported multiple locations or stores. Though we ultimately ended up deciding between two other companies, the Bindo rep made us a great offer which we accepted.

Watch Out any Sales Reps from this Company.

Pros: From experience. NOTHING.. It may be a great fit for fast food restaurant and clothing industry..

Cons: It says it can be used for a liquor & wine store and couple of users has a positive review @ this POS but it CAN NOT be used for a liquor & wine store presently....some reasons.. > It does not have a (-) department that can be used for Lotto paid out transactions. > Matrix feature is too much complicated and CAN NOT be used for a single UPC as it is possible in Microsoft RMS. > No Customer facing display. So customer don't know what is happening during a x'saction. > Customer support.. 0 out of 10.

Don't believe the graphics,design look and info available on the web site and also don't go by review from others even if they are from similar industry. TRY OUT FIRST.. I just signed a 3 year lease and feeling "stuck" as the system hardware and software is nothing but a "paper weight"...

Pros: There is nothing to recommend about this product or this vendor.

Cons: We used bindo POS for about 10 months. Initially, the program was stable and seemed to offer quite a lot of back-end features (the reports seemed relatively robust). As time went on, we began to experience more and more instability. The entire system would stop working for hours at a time, which meant that we could not process any transactions whatsoever. Our cash counts in bindo would be completely erratic and would often start us over at $0 a few times throughout the course of a business day. Often times, transactions would simply stall and would never be completed so we would have to cancel the transaction and begin again as customers waited. Bindo also incorrectly set-up our accounts so for months at a time, we were not receiving any deposits from AmEx transactions (this happened twice). Bindo's customer service and tech support was awful in dealing with these issues. At one point, they asked if the cash count was actually necessary to us. There were so many other issues. Perhaps the worst aspect to them is the duplicitous way in which they set-up accounts. I was told repeatedly by the salesman what the system would cost for 2 registers. I purchased equipment and signed an agreement. When bindo's extensive problems really began to adversely affect my business, I discovered that I was actually in a lease agreement with a company for the equipment that I had already purchased and that I was being held to it for the remainder of the contract term. So, I've switched to another company that is actually reliable and I will have to potentially continue to pay for equipment that I've already purchased and for software from bindo that I know longer use.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would strongly advise you to choose another company.

Pros: It is very easy to use, it looks great, and it works. Bindo does everything we need it to do, simply and efficiently. It looks great, and makes sales super fast and easy, as well as having all the reporting info we need.

Cons: Well, I'd like Apple to hurry up and approve the new Bindo update for iOS8 so that a couple of the glitches in the system can be corrected, but these are so minor. I really don't have anything to complain about.

Recommendations to other buyers: Prior to choosing Bindo I spent 6 months using Shopkeep, and then tried Lightspeed. Shopkeep has a great cash register interface, but can't handle more than one sales tax percentage (we have two in our store as clothing is taxed differently in NY than everything else), and has terrible reports that proved useless to me. So, to make a change I tried to make the jump to Lightspeed. That proved to be an awful experience. Lightspeed has amazing reporting capability (much more than I needed), but their cash register interface is truly terrible. It is slow, overly complicated (taking triple the amount of time to ring up a sale), and then when you finally get the cash drawer to open so you can make change, the screen automatically jumps to a new sale and no longer tells you the change you need to make. My staff absolutely hated it, and demanded we go back to Shopkeep or switch to something better. Software Advice suggested Bindo and we've been thrilled. I suggest to everyone interested in finding a system to take advantage of any kind of free trial offer and make sure it really works for you. Lightspeed signed me up for two years and when I hated it and told them I would not be using them, they refused to refund me anything. I was out two years worth of monthly payments. Buyer beware.

Pros: My favorite feature is Bindo's CRM. When a customer comes to purchase an item, I simply "add" that customer to their receipt. Then, Bindo keeps track of all of my customers and their past purchases. This is really useful when a customer tries a few different wines and wants to return to one that they had purchased in the past, or when customers purchase the same item again and again.

Cons: There have been a few minor bugs here and there, but the customer service team has always been able to help me work around them until they're fixed (which is never very long).

Recommendations to other buyers: Definitely take advantage of their CRM capabilities, as well as their super helpful customer service.

Pros: I like how easy it is to use and how quickly it does its job. The last place I worked had this slow crash register that kept misreading cards and buttons, so this was like a big red easy button.

Cons: It sometimes takes a bit longer to read some credit cards, but that doesn't happen often.

Pros: I'm an employee, so I never had a chance to meet the vendor. My boss told me that the guy that sold him Bindo was actually very nice and told me if there were any issues to call him.

Cons: Sometimes, the app stops working, and you have to turn everything off and restart it. When this happens, of course, I have a line of customers out the door.

Pros: The interface is very simple and easy to navigate. Most of my transactions take 15-20 seconds. It's great when I need to search the inventory, because everything is on the same screen as the transaction, so there's no need to switch back and forth.

Cons: Sometimes, the transaction will freeze in the middle of a sale, which makes it awkward between the customer and me.

Recommendations to other buyers: Upload all of the inventory! Other POS systems are too bulky or not very user-friendly, and newer apps like the card readers for iPhones and Androids are very incomplete and not suitable for larger operations.

Pretty cool, but lots of little bugs. They are very responsive to help.

Pros: I always get a contact person at Bindo if I need help. It saves time, space, and messy paperwork.

Cons: Initially, I got a lot of bad information about what I was buying. Even to this day, there are features on the software that make no sense to me or need to be implemented. I have no idea why some of these things are missing.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't discount the excellent customer service. You can't plan for every emergency but you can count on Bindo to help you through them.

Pros: The product is fantastic but where Bindo really shines is the Team. The experience does not stop with the POS solution but continues with a very attentive customer service department that will work tirelessly until the Customer is 100% satisfied! The product itself has been very well-thought-out. It gives management the ability to truly run a business the way it's supposed to. I cannot believe how in the dark I was before.

Cons: I really can't think of any shortcomings of Bindo.

Recommendations to other buyers: When evaluating Bindo and their competitors, make sure to first identify your own pain points and check and see if the vendor's product addresses them. In my experience, if Bindo doesn't, they will figure out a way to make it work for you!

Pros: I like the different approach that they're taking to put a bunch of features needed to manage my store on a single iPad. I particularly like the inventory management and product onboarding. All I have to do is scan the barcode, and the product details (along with an image) gets uploaded to the cloud.

Cons: There's nothing not to like about Bindo. I'm really satisfied with my decision!

Recommendations to other buyers: Check for the breadth of features, such as local online storefront, inventory management, advanced analytics and reports, CRM, employee management, good support, etc. This will save you the trouble of managing multiple software tools. Also, ask for recommendations from existing customers. Upon requesting, they arranged for me to talk to one of their customers who also has an apparel store in my city.
