Very happy, we use this system for multiple locations and find its user friendly and works well. it also connects to our sales system so we get real wage cost tracking.

Pros

Customer support is amazing, always very responsive, Connectivity to the awards make EOFY hassle a past worry, all rates are always updated in real time.

Cons

The integrations between Tanda and Accounting platforms can be a bit clunky. we do experience issues with duplicate employees and the connection if staff are added into Tanda first before the accounting platform.

Overall, my experience has been positive. Any minor issues that arise are usually resolved quickly by the customer support team.

Pros

Excellent customer support. The team is always helpful, responsive, and quick to resolve issues. Tanda is user friendly and has made managing staff, rosters, and payroll much more efficient.

Cons

There are no major issues to report. Occasionally, some features can take a little time to learn, but the support team is always available to help.

It's really simple to use. We have a lot of backpackers and the language barrier hasn't been an issue

Pros

All in one staff communications. Real time records of ins and outs and where they are clocking on and off.

Cons

Doesn't always clock people in and out but I think that's more an internet issue than a Tanda problem

My overall experience with tanda has been a positive one and asset to anyone's business. The content and features are value for money

Pros

Tanda is a user-friendly workforce management app that offers good value for money, especially for businesses managing rosters and timesheets. The clock in and clock out feature is simple and reliable, helping staff track hours accurately. Customer support is responsive and helpful when issues arise. While there is a slight learning curve for new users, the platform becomes easy to navigate after some practice and regular use.

Cons

The thing I like least about Tanda is the learning curve for new users. Some features can be difficult to find at first, and setting up rosters or navigating advanced functions may take time to understand. While customer support is helpful, it can still be frustrating when simple tasks require extra training or guidance before users become comfortable with the system.

My experience with Tanda has been very positive. It's easy to use, has simplified rostering and payroll processes, and saves our team a lot of time. The support team is helpful and responsive, and overall the platform has made workforce management much more efficient.

Pros

The features I like most are the clock in and clock out function, the HR Hub, and payroll. They are easy to use, save time, and make managing staff records, attendance, and payroll much more efficient.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. Overall, I haven’t experienced any major issues with Tanda and have found it to be reliable and easy to use.

Pros

Its comprehensiveness of usable information and its ability to integrate with other systems make it an excellent platform for our business

Cons

Each business has its own unique requirements of reporting which sometimes is not available to retrieve from the system in a suitable format

I have been using Tanda for at Least 3 Years now, and never had an issue. Great App and now they Even have our Payroll thru Tanda

Pros

very easy to use, straight forward rostering and uploading is live in just a few second, I love this app. Highly Recommended to anyone whose running small to a Large Business.

Cons

nothing that I could think of. we started of with Employment Hero but hey Tanda smokes them by a mile

Great idea, but horrible and insufficient support options. Can’t even pay for consulting. Support can take days to responde - even if clicking pay impacting.

Pros

Award interpretation, automatic change of rates for birthdays. Timesheets and rostering are good - if you don't have anything complex happen.

Cons

Support is via chat/email only. The testing environment resets daily, so can never test and get support in time to actaully test and find out why things are going wrong.

Good and easy to use, Staff let me know via the ap in regards to time off etc. Overall a good system for rosters

Pros

Easy to use, ability to see hours worked for the week and plan ahead. Web based means I can access it from home and on my mobile ability to send out the roster to multi users at once is the best

Cons

Jambs up allot and I have to continuously log in After the latest update, I have to login after like 10 minutes

Pros

Easy to navigate with lots of information for employees payroll , document management, easy clock in clock out .

Cons

Some team members complained about logged out automatically for some time but wasn’t an issue as they could refresh the app.

Great for small businesses like myself and saves lot of time. Reporting is very thorough and lot of options available.

Pros

Onboarding very easy. Online portal is user friendly. Easy access to customer service. Excellent value for money.

Cons

It would be helpful to have an option to mark frequently used reports as favourites. This would allow users to generate their preferred reports quickly without having to navigate through the large number of available report options each time.

WHAT I LIKED LEAST ABOUT TANDA WAS THAT SOME FEATURES COULD FEEL A BIT LIMITED OR TAKE TIME TO GET USED TO, ESPECIALLY WHEN MANAGING FREQUENT ROSTER CHANGES.

The overall experience with Tanda is amazing! One of the best feature is its Time clock attendance which allows you to clock in remotely. You can also easily pull out employee data and details which we use for our weekly team engagement survey, making sure we have the full list of staff for each venue and department.

Pros

What I love most about Tanda is it's very easy to use. One feature I like is the Time clock attendance because it lets you clock in remotely which is really useful for employees working online like me.

Cons

So far, there's nothing I like least about Tanda because it's very easy to navigate and very user-friendly. You don't need much time to learn the platform.

It's a good start. I feel maybe too many features which means that difficult to ensure core product is seamless. I would prefer less features and a better core experience.

Pros

More advanced. Predictive forecasting is market leader.

Cons

No messaging/chat app. Mobile app is very buggy and not very useful for managers.

I found the Tanda sales and accounts staff to be too focused on billing and locking customers in to annual contracts than delivering value. You get the felling the sales staff are high fiving each other when they hook up another sucker. If there is an issue eg not delivering what you thought you were getting... you just get handed over from one rep to the next. No one takes accountability. Most company's during covid shutdown offered support to the hospitality industry in some way... like crediting fees during a shutdown. Not Tanda! I tried to cancel my subscription several times prematurely but they did not let me go and then billed my credit card for another 12months without giving me any chance to leave. Overall, the worst customer experience I have ever had with a tech company.

Pros

The set up and integrations with myob / xero were good.

Cons

I wsa led to believe by their sales guys that the intergatons would be No integration with my pos so couldnt view live labour cost percentages by location. The mobile app had very limited use also.

### "All good at the start but as time goes on who do you contact.... "

It has made life at work simpler but when there is a headache or a bump in the road there is a real bump in the road. Not what I expected and not overall very happy with this software at all. Communication needs to improve especially with a system that affects payroll. You should be able to get answers sported out in minutes not hrs on these matters.

Pros

Scheduling rosters, employees can create their own leave, qualifications

Cons

When issues with payroll it takes at least 5 hrs for them to get back to you mostly. Can only communicate through chat or email. The only phone number is... you guessed it for sales and someone is always on the phone happy to take a call. another sale another $

### "Outstanding Control and HUGE timesaving - Now a key part of our business"

Overall Tanda provides enterprise level employee information control with minimal cost. The improvements in staff timekeeping, reduction in wage costs and the improved accuracy of our payroll and HR records have been superb. In our instance its less than 0.3% of our monthly payroll cost to run Tanda. You really have to do this.

Pros

Ease of implementation - so simple. We had 5 locations setup in a day. Adding staff to the system was simple and straightforward Cost of hardware is miniscule and doesn't require specialist contractors. Anyone handy with an ipad or similar tablet, (old or new) can setup in minutes. Degree of customisation is superb Ease of use - very intuitive - no long winded training needed Suitable for office and mobile workforce with new GPS feature in mobile app Timeclock Interface is very easy to use and simple for our staff to use Speed of use - I can do the weekly timesheets and rotas for 50 staff members in about 20 minutes. This use to take hours of company time collating paper timesheets, putting into spreadsheets etc etc etc Its more than just a time clock - we have sped up employee enboarding hugely and now have completely accurate personal information, sickness, lateness and holiday records.

Cons

Nothing, Tanda have taken onboard feedback provided and made some changes/ added features we provided. Theyre working through a few minor tweaks, but as a service its continuing to grow.

Rostering and timesheets has saved us a lot of time using manual spreadsheets and timesheets and is more accurate. Also assists us in costing our labour

Cons

Data sometimes imports into our payroll software incorrectly, need to make manual changes

Rostering feature and onboarding was ok. However deputy do the same thing, half the price.

Cons

Pros

Ease of use. Worked times are self-calculating with the flexibility of different breaks included. Allowing more accurate attendance tracking of our employees. Links to Award conditions. Allows for automatic Public Holiday & other leave planning. Allows interrogation of rosters and attendance data to plan finite resources and show the costs associated with proposed rosters. Allows set-up of roster templates (memorised) to be used over and over. Allows new employees to fill in their own details into the system. Clerical duties & responsibility back to employees. No more missing timesheets or timesheets sitting on the desk of a manger awaiting approval. No more 'the dog ate my timesheet' - Frustration and time-wasting just evaporates. Allows SMS to be sent to manager and employee if clock-in or clock-out is missing. Gentle reminder that they have stuffed-up (again).. Exporting capability of completed timesheets into Reckon & XERO - Priceless. Saves duplication & eliminates transposition errors. A huge time-saver. Allows the attachment of approved leave forms (PH/AL/SL/LWOP) to the event, for full traceability/paper-trail. Allows to add notes into the timesheet as part of the history of events, i.e. who authorised amended times and why & how this was relayed to payroll. The thing I like most about TANDA is the feeling that rostering and payroll is NO longer a frustrating & time-wasting chore that has to be done. I feel in control of my function and my efficiency.

Cons

The two control buttons (Clock-in and Clock-out buttons) - even seasoned and reliable employees managed to clock-in (twice) when they were supposed to clock-out. A minor headache, but a redesign would improve the total reliability i.e. if the buttons were further apart or only one showing.

### "Paid for itself in the first week."

I’d throughly recommend TANDA to anyone. Having staff log in via a tablet, or via a GPS enabled remote app, means that I’m only paying for the hours staff are working, not from the time they wrote on a timesheet to cover up the early finish or late start. Rostering has gone from a 4 hour manual process to a 4 minute process using templates. The staff have embraced it and is now as much a part of our business as pay day.

Pros

Having been an employee in a business that used TANDA, adopting when I took a managers role inaother company was a no brainer. Having used it from both sides of the fence, its very simple for even the least tech savvy Neanderthal to use. From an employers point of view, rostering, managing leave, payroll, and now the simple method for onboarding new staff, makes this a key part of our business.

Cons

The upgrade from the previous version top the current version made this a much more flexible system, however some features were lost, such as having cost break downs and percentages at the top of the page when doing rosters.

As a employee who had previously used TANDA, it was a simple decision to make.

better records of absentee, sick leave, annual leave and time keeping

Pros

simple to use once you have set up the staff into the system with hourly rates, the roster can be created well in advance with ease of changes when required, the weekly reports transfer to Excel easily which helps payroll on either a daily or weekly or monthly basis, we use the system for all three variants of Pay cycles with no issues

Cons

only one thin I personally don't like is the auto approve function, this function doesn't allow for any small amounts of overtime ie if the roster was set up with the start and finish time and the employee was to stay back for a short period say 10 minutes to complete a task the auto approve automatically converts the time Back to the Planned working hours within the roster resulting in the employee missing out on the 10 minutes pay unless I double check all clock outs

Sign up and sales were great.. then it went down hill with the above mentioned issues.

Pros

\- desktop look - easy to roster/view timesheets

Cons

\- support is the worst, never return calls/emails, waited 2 weeks for a reply (which wasn't helpful), all overseas NOT in Australia like promised -doesn't integrate well with MYOB - multiple issues with integration -Limited customization - no where near what was promised in sales - restricted in onboard process

Customer service is so so good! I saw one review saying that they don’t care about that, and I can’t understand that. I feel like I gave customer service on tap, and we are only an organisation if 40 -50 it so.

Pros

It is so thrilling to set up and customise. It has loads of tutorials and features. You find more customisable options the longer you use TANDA. It keeps an organisation very compliant re Fair Work / Awards.

Cons

The need to make many award rules to override rules that are not necessary for our organisation. I wish you could simply click options within the staff profile that said - hours past 38 are volunteer if TOIL. I wish each staff member was easier to customise. As we are a non profit, we can’t pay over time and things like that, and we have agreements in place for Toil / volunteer time.

It has been positive overall.

Pros

The systems and processes are continuously improving. They are forever evolving and each business has different idiosyncratic problems and needs. So to see ongoing improvement with problems is great to see.

Cons

Some of the reporting and the ability to look at reports in different views. The reports are one dimensional rather than being multi-dimensional. This is not to say that these reports are terrible or don't provide insights. Some of them are very good and provide excellent insights.
