When supporting other organisations, it has been faultless delivering exactly what is required. Pros We have used Papertrail for 7yrs. We have found it to be a great for us when supporting our clients asset management requirements. Through Papertrail we can deliver quality and timely inspection and reporting on the condition of their PPE and other assets. The ongoing customer support is excellent. We adopted Papertrail for our own equipment and asset management. Cons There’s very little to complain about with Papertrail. Whenever we have had to contact the support guys via app customer chat. The issues /queries are resolved extremely quickly. Inspection scheduling is really helpful and you can have multiple checklists and schedules for each item, depending on what is required. Cons What we liked least as a business about Papertrail was the initial learning curve when moving from spreadsheets to a structured digital system. It required time to organise assets, set up user permissions, and understand all the features. However, this was a one-off challenge, and once we were set up, the platform became intuitive. Given that we have so many users, sometimes there can be some issues with inspections not being included when a full account sync is initiated, again, not solely Papertrail, user error can be blamed. With Papertrail that inspection is made alot easier beacuse I have all documentation and previous inspection protocols in the system. That saves a lot of time and frustration. Pros In my work as an arborist its important to trust my equipment. By using Papertrail I can be sure I have checked all my gear according to local legislation. It also provides or holds all manuals to my equipment and provide alot of checklists to make my inspections even more reliable. Cons Papertrail is a complex system with a lot of features. That makes the learning a little slower but still alot easier than other Excel based systems I've used before. Reason for choosing Papertrail Time and frustration got less. Pros User friendly platform. It allow me to track all of my equipment and challenge courses plus reminds me when items need retired or inspected. I don't feel like I have to stress about remembering all of it because Papertrail helps me remember. Cons Not much to complain about this is really a me thing. As someone who forgets to do things a lot. I wish I could back date or see notes in the on the task that i create easier. I tend to forget to put in maintenance project that I have done immediately.
