Pros: I have been working in construction and construction management for the past 20 years and this program/app has made my life INCREDIBLY easier! If there's ever an issue or even just a question, all it takes is a phone call and "boom", problem solved and "poof", questions answered.

Cons: The ONLY thing I would change is in regards to the app and the lack of notifications and the inability to update or change the schedules.

Happy to have Coconstruct on board

Pros: Great for the schedule, spec & selections. Real good that you can contact the client and the partners

Cons: We also need to communicate directly with the client, some times we forget this.

Pros: The customer service is great and always available. It doesn't matter your role, familiarity with the program, or technological aptitude - they will help you! The site is well-branded and easy to navigate, as is the app. "Intuitive" is such a buzz word, but this really is!

Pros: Great software, great customer support. Helped me a lot to communicate with my clients. My business becomes more organized. I look very advanced and professional.

Cons: None so far. I use is about 3 month, and like it a lot. Not con, just advise, maybe to make Planshet version, mobile version too simple for Ipad

Comments: Thank you for coming up with this solution!

Pros: I like how Co Construct brings much of the correspondence between clients, sub contractors, and the builder to one location. Co Construct helps to create efficiency in a chaotic industry. Co Construct is where the project planning lives!

Cons: I would like to see the green update button feature on the app so that I can see what I need to do from the app at a glance and know where I need to work from the app.

Pros: I have used many Estimating/Costing packages over the years but I find CoConstruct the most User Friendly. I can EDIT projects easily as well.

Pros: Customer communication, organization, scheduling benefits, 24/7 budget tracking at a great price! Customer service is amazing.

Cons: Not having full access to certain areas on the app. I can't add anything else to this for recommendations.

Pros: This software is very easy to learn. It is a great all in one software that anyone can use. The support is great and the implementation was fantastic. And if you can swing it, the CoCamp is completely worth it.

Cons: Now working with a skilled trade company, I wish they could adapt it to be used with specific trades. Also could improve the scheduling by adding hourly options.

Comments: The support that CoConstruct has provided has been outstanding. I appreciate the fact that I can call or email with any question and they will be right there to answer.

Pros: This system has allowed up to simplify the estimating process on all of our projects. Their are so many options in this program that will be beneficial too all involved.

Cons: I am having to be detailed and thoughtful about the whole process. This change is going to push us to the next level and make our bidding process so much more efficient, but there are a lot of options to put together. It has pushed us to make our company so much better.

Comments: I'm only ankle deep in the software and it's already paying off!

Pros: It's a one stop portal that does everything in the cloud for every member of my team to see and interact.

Cons: A few of the things that I thought would be a little more intuitive are not. It's not hard to learn, but there is a lot to learn. It's not automatic.

Comments: If you are a home remodeler or builder, this software is most like going to save you time and money if you use it the way it was built to be used.

Pros: The scheduling module has helped us make sure that we keep to the projects timeline and at the end compare how we did to what our baseline was at the start of the project. Our clients really like the ability to have a project management tool that allows them to communicate, see overview of the financials, make selections, approve change orders, see pictures, access project files and have a repository for messages in one place. The mobile app is a huge benefit to us because we can update the schedule in the field, see what tasks are due to be completed while at the job site and look at a file when out of the office.

Cons: Would like the ability to know when we have overbooked an employee or sub for the day when preparing and updating the schedule when running multiple projects.

Pros: Keeps all project data in one place. No more hunting around for selections, messages, client changes, etc. Schedule componet is excellent. Keeps the client informed at all times, what is happening. App is very handy as well. Customer support is unbelievibly fast. Rarley on hold and emails are answered same day.

Pros: Support service is first rate. System is logical and a degree of simplicity and yet allows complexity should you wish to use it to it's fullest potential. The dashboard makes it easy to see what is overdue and needs attention. Great that you have the ability to see what the clients sees as well.

Pros: The format is easy to follow and that our customers can watch what is going on with there house through there log in is exciting for them.

Cons: Some of the updates done to the system do not benefit all users, but I do understand that it has to be rolled out to everyone.

Comments: I'm looking forward to finding the time and scratch to go to Co-Camp for a some intensive training in order to fully utilize the app's potential.

Pros: Co-Construct as helped me in all aspects with running my business in one package--client management and communication, budgeting and tracking, scheduling and sales. On the sales side, using the application sets me apart from my competition and is a real differentiator in my clients eyes, and I can confidently say my use of it factors into my clients decision making when evaluating proposals. On the business side, I had a spreadsheet that served me well, but with Co-Construct, all the data flows into QB Online in a way the spreadsheet does not. Additionally, if you are a Mac user, you can both use QB Online and do job costing for your projects. Finally, it is a great resource for client management. No longer do I have to worry about things slipping through the cracks when I get a laundry list of items from a client. Now, questions about cabinetry go in the cabinetry section and questions about plumbing go to the plumbing section. (Customer support has also been exceptional.)

Cons: More granular control of what my employee see. It does take a little work to get customers up to speed (but it's worth the effort). More detail in the budget view would help. Also, a better way to handle architects since they occupy a middle ground between "client" and "partner". Overall, the cons are small things that I believe Co-Construct is aware of and will eventually be addressed in future iterations of the application.

Comments: I will be using this system over the other because of their pricing structure. BuilderTrend did not put a lot of thought into their pricing structure so in my opinion the cost outweighs its value.

Pros: Pricing structure makes the most sense which in the end is cheaper than others and does pretty much the same things just in a different way. Customer support is awesome!! They want to help and it shows.

Cons: No data base in which stores items according to accounting codes, descriptions and pricing so whan you have to add something you have to comeup with it all on the fly.

Comments: The videos are most helpful and easy to use. The customer service is very friendly and helpful. I have called a couple of times and everything I needed to know was explained in laymen terms...Thank God!!

Comments: Watched the company profile and was very impressed. Looks like a great place to work. Thank you CoConstruct

Pros: Considering the amount of features offered, it's very easy to use and get up and running right away. Instructional videos are really great. My coach as been very knowledgeable, professional and prompt with promised emails or additional help. We needed one program to pull together all of the plans, specs, emails, photos, texts and calendar into one place. We also needed a good, easy to use but complete, estimating and budgeting option that follows national standards. It will be great to offer our clients an easy to use, at a glance profile of their project.

Cons: Don't really have a con yet. Maybe a little snappier look to the App? (But the functionality is great - love the logo for CoConstruct too).

Pros: Great way to schedule and create estimates in matter of minutes. It's easy to use and they have a lot of useful videos if you forget something.

Cons: Time tracking feature needs to be better. Currently you can't see the amount of hours in a project and the budgeted hours.

Pros: This is absolutely amazing! My customers and subs love this software!! Project management has never been easier and more manageable! Everything is automated! This has really put me over my competition!!

Cons: The change order portion does not allow for a deductive change order. We all hate them but they are a fact of life. I have to manually make a deductive change order on excel or ms word. Other than that everything else is great!

Pros: QuickBooks integration with the desktop and online version, ease of use, the coaching sessions to help you get started, and great pricing.

Cons: There were very few features of the program that was not yet there yet, that would make the system better for us personally and probably for other companies. For example, their could of have been an option for a adding a billing address as well as a second address instead of a second address line.

Comments: Just started using the system and already see the value in communication throughout the entire organization. If one of the subs did something outside of spec you can take a picture circle the error and send it to the sub. On the spot not calling them and trading phone calls etc

Pros: Ease of use, support to get started. loaded full of features, everything in one system. Communications with trade customer and team members is a breeze. Getting bids from the trade are a breeze.

Cons: Haven't found any yet. It has so many strong features I have been so impressed with the improvement to our business that I have not focused on the cons

Pros: I like that the contractor is responsive. I like that my conversations are documented. I like that the software is fast.

Cons: It makes a simple process more complicated. Perhaps the contractor doesn't use it to its full potential or perhaps I am missing some key instructions that would help. I've used it now for about 2 months on a daily basis and it is not getting any less confusing. For example, in the financials tab I see things like framing, demo, etc... My contractor has not filled those in....his bad. However, he has filled in stuff like allowances for appliances but there isn't an entry for his overhead. So is it rolled in to his allowance or is it separate. Once again, difficult to tell and therefore confusing if I need to know where to cut back.

Comments: The customer service by far is the BEST I've ever encountered anywhere. They ALWAYS get you an answer in such a timely manner and are so polite, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The office is so welcoming and the vibe is positive and fun!

Pros: I love that it links to Quick Books and I can upload everything over. I love how it tracks EVERYTHING for you and gives your clients a way to be such a part of the process from beginning to end.

Cons: For us there are NO cons so far! I can't really think of anything to put down for this one :) So again, NO cons!

Pros: This software will help us run multiple jobs more efficiently. It is a great marketing tool for prospective clients. It makes us look and feel so much more professional. We are able to pay more attention to the customer. Large tasks to the small details that used to bog down our thoughts and energies no longer are a burden. Co-Construct's communication and accountability structures helps get more done.

Cons: My largest challenge is transferring our own estimating templates. But I expect that to be done with in this week. Every other transfer of information has been smooth.

Comments: I'm focusing my company on changing the way construction is done. In this day in time, there's better ways of doing things. There needs to be a level of understanding in the fact that these projects are more the customers homes than my job sites. There's also no reason why technology can't streamline the process. Co-construct helps me to accomplish both.

Pros: There's a lot of good things but overall, the focus on creating better communication for everyone and a pleasant customer experience is what makes this work. That often has not been the focus in construction even thought they are two of the most important aspects.

Cons: The user interface is great. I think any improvement that can be made there is always good. If I could, I would make everything even more simple and fail proof for users. Example: the last upgrade on emails was a good improvement.

Comments: For businesses that are not using this product/program, I find it hard to understand how they can stay on top of their construction processes and costs. This program keeps you in check and on schedule.

Pros: Easily find what you are looking for, whether its a selection, a date in the schedule or a variation Great for interaction with the client, you can instantly send them a message/email and you are notified as soon as they reply Keeps all the information in one place You cant make a mistake that cannot be rectified The 'To Do' feature is a great tool for reminders or chasing up things that need to be done

Cons: The only bugbear I have is that you have to go into both 'change choice' and 'update status' to lock your selection., where as if the 'update status' was in the same section, you wouldn't have to go into 2 tabs and could save a little time.

Pros: Customer support and efficiency, simplicity of the program. The online platform is well organized aesthetically pleasing.

Cons: Like most new software a learning curve with any program is very real. The team at CoConstruct had made it very reasonable even for technologically challenged.

Pros: The sharing capabilities make a big difference for our business. Appreciate the continual updates and responses to our requests for features.

Cons: Would love for it to have an inventory component. The recent update to an easy 'Client view' was something we were struggling without and is no longer a Con.

Comments: Fantastic value for the money.

Pros: Consolidation of information and communication across one platform shared with clients, builders and trade partners.

Cons: Precision editing of layouts, templates and options is usually hard to come by. Mobile app should be as useful as the full version, but currently it is at about 25%.

Pros: Takes a lot of effort and coaching to learn but worth the work! Good coaching sessions. Helps keep everything organized and everyone on the same page.

Cons: Coaching sessions could be a little longer. Some features seem almost too detailed but at least it allows you to not use all features if you don't want to

Comments: Wishing this company great success, but hoping our competitors choose something else! Our market is very rural, and getting out to jobs in 5 counties isn't realistic anymore. We are uploading files and daily job logs for "eyes in the field" and the site supervisors are taking more ownership of schedules they can see and adjust.

Pros: Co-Construct is easy to use, and the support staff rocks! We were very hesitant to take this on, finding it to be much less trouble than we imagined.

Cons: We would ideally like to see a Gantt chart with all the project schedules listed simultaneously. Oh, and if it were just you know, free.

Pros: Everything is on one platform and you only enter things once. Professional looking for clients and very transparent.

Comments: Overall, we are glad we made the switch. The comparsion between BuilderTrend and Construct is close.... We have not use the estimating tools yet as we still use excel. Plan to make the change soon... This could be the tool that sets CoConstruct apart from BuilderTrend....

Pros: The Gantt chart is first rate in scheduling. If you are a MicroSoft project user, this is a perfect fit. Customers seem to like it so far as does the sub Contractor base. We ended up making a switch from BuilderTrend to CoConstruct mostly due to the scheduling features.... BuilderTrend lacked Subtask in the Gantt chart viewing each task as a separate line item. I want to total duration of the foundation installation with each subtask involved. Not just have Foundation as a single task....... outside of those few items, everthing is worked good. I would definitely recommend trying to see if it fits your needs........

Cons: Expensive compared to BuilderTrend but worth the extra for the addtional Gantt functions. No way of tracking sub contractor insurance certificate expirations under the vendor section. CoConstruct said set up as individual "ToDo's". No thank you...... Lastly document management seems a little cumbersome. Requires searching through allot of files to find a files. You can filter by apppling a tag but if the sub doesnt know how you tagged it, the search can be frustrating. That is the feedback we have gotten from the subs.

Comments: Customer service has to 100% in any business and with Coconstruct I feel that the customers are put first! If the customer feels involved with the construction process they are more likely to have a great experience and once again Coconstruct allows that to happen. Perfect!

Pros: It's important for everyone involved with a project to be informed. With that said all the tools in Coconstruct make it very easy for everyone to be informed of any issues and updates.

Comments: I like the program but it is not as easy to grasp as I anticipated as I don't have the time to immerse myself into the program as some owners may since I am in the field on jobs most of the time and customer support is not available in the evenings when I get to the office.

Pros: The scheduling capability that helps in setting up subs and the ability to create to-do's with photos for the subs.

Comments: It's a great software to have. Once you acclimate to the program, your work will be much easier to handle. Again, I want to thank my coach at co construct for constantly emailing me on reminders. I'm busy throughout the day, and when I finally sit down at the end of the day, I breeze through my phone and see that my coach is reminding me of certain tasks that I must follow up on. When we have our conference call, I can ask her anything pertaining to the software and she will educate and guide me through the process. She is always ready to answer any question that I have. Pros: Just getting into it but the only product of this kind that had an on-site hand-holding "camp" to learn by doing in a group setting. Intuitive use, even for the "older" non-computer generation use.

Comments: I have come to the conclusion that Co-Construct is NOT a piece of software; Co-Construct is a comprehensive, enterprise-wide, process solution. Our business is crazy busy which lead us to react to every situation without the time to manage situations in advance. Of course, that leads to customer dissatisfaction, money leaking through the cracks, Superintendents without clear specifications, thus many re-works (read $$$). Co-Construct is in the process of quieting that all down. It has caused us to think through the Co-Construct implementation and the all the processes and procedures surrounding each customer home. EUREKA!

Pros: All-encompassing systemic approach that positively impacts the entire business and the entire construction process.

Cons: It is complex and takes a hero/believer in the company to be the the one Co-Construct voice. The setup can be intimidating and time consuming. I think so people become overwhelmed and just don't use it. I'd suggest "Co-Construct Implementer's" to work with each business during the set up process - if for no other reason that to keep the builder motivated.

Pros: I can't say enough positive things about CoConstruct. After attending the "CoCamp" training last week I am currently setting up all of my projects, leads, and prospects in the system. The growth of my company has brought about certain challenges that we had been struggling with but now that we have C0Construct, we have the means to not only solve those growth related issues but also the ability to grow even more. Initially I was concerned about the cost but I now believe that it's the best investment I've ever made in the company. The customer service from CoConstruct has been outstanding. As a "right" now kind of guy I like answers immediately. I have called support twice and both times my issue was resolved in five minutes or less. I'm looking forward to getting to the point where we are using all of the capabilities of the program. I don't think it will take to long to get there.

Cons: At this point I don't really have any cons about the system. One thing that I'd like to see become available is a more detailed CRM system that offered an automated email followup capability for leads and inquiries.

Comments: I have spent years using spreadsheets to create budgets and schedules, and yes, somehow things got built and completed. But the amount of time it took to keep these things not only updated but well communicated was insane. I can't begin to describe how much time and energy Co-Construct is saving me and my company, to say nothing about how impressed clients and trades are with the systems we have in place to run projects.

Pros: Wealth of features (Estimating, scheduling, to do's, messaging, questions/answers, warranty items, uploading drawings and photos). Ability to present ourselves as professionals from the very first meeting with clients (and trades), and practically selling our design and construction services while we're in the initial feasibility stages.

This tool is great but clearly has many layers that will take time to full integrate into our business. Starting one step at a time and going from there. I think at least 3 days would have been better with more time for hand on application as well as a plan to roll out to the rest of the team at home who may or may not be tech-savvy. Facilitators and atmosphere were 10++, well rolled out for such a large group. Left me anxious to get going with this ...

Pros: Depth of the software and the fact that it continues to evolve. Facilitators and location 10++. Loved the energy and the real-time testimonials from the guest speaker and fellow classmates. Good practical discussions and loves of idea sharing for roll out use in the field.

Cons: Still some glitches that we need to work out (time clock). Too early for me to really give more than that as I am not sure if it is me or the product at this point, need to spend some real time with it so I can roll it out and get going with it.

Hoping this is the best decision we have made in our company in 10 years.

Comments: I hope you sell this product to every contractor in the US except none within a 50 mile radius of our company.

Cons: Not a con. I would really like to figure out how to invoice through QB for in-house labor and excavation. Example: Charge $/hr for labor or $/hr for in house equipment time. I know this is probably more on the QB side, but it is very important for us.

Comments: I stumbled upon Co-Construct at the KBIS/IBS in Orlando last month and was very interested in the idea. When I spent some time with the person at the exhibit I realized this was something I needed to pull my business together in a cohesive way. There was another competitor I looked at but Co-Construct is really designed for custom building and remodeling, i.e.: I never do the same job twice. It was super easy to learn, excellent support (like overboard to help me) and really does what it says it does and allows my partner and me to work on projects together either away or in the office, without buying extra software, setting up servers and maintaining extra office staff. I also like it's QB online integration, although it's a little quirky to get used to, to get maximum functionality. Overall, this has been a positive upgrade and although it's a gift that keeps on taking ( monthly fee, but we all need to make a living!) its payback has already shown itself in the first 45 days. If you doubt you need it, and your reading this review, you probably do need it, unless you are using another online brand and it's working too.

Pros: Online, ease of use and excellent support.

Cons: QB online integration could be more intuitive. Accounting codes had to be redone in QB online to be able to sync. Even when done it still needs various tweaks to get it going.

Comments: I am a carpenter working in Washington DC for a design build firm. We do mostly kitchens and bathrooms on the smaller end and full renovations and additions on the bigger end. My company has been using coconstruct for probably around 2 years now and it is highly unpleasant to use. Its main problems are that it is incredibly bloated and highly specific in terms of its structure. Most of the folks in the field in my company only use it for selections and even then, the user experience for the selections module is very cluttered and hard to follow. Yes, you can look closely and get what you need but I think that the ease of use and experience for the user is important. Especially for the older men and women in the industry who are especially reluctant to use technology. Making programs less cluttered and more intuitive to use is really important because it makes the folks in the field so much more likely to use it. Right now, every time I have to mess with coconstruct, I dread it and wish it was easier to just pop on, find what I need and jump back into what I'm doing. Instead, I have to dig.

Pros: I like that it's a step in the right direction in terms of getting away from papers

Cons: It's cluttered and the user experience isn't emphasized in its development. It looks like the folks developing it aren't creative and don't care about making the user experience intuitive.

Pros: - works well for large projects - Project calendar works for aspects of the project 1 day or greater in size - Time log is a big +

Cons: - No ability to work a crew schedule into the calendar for small projects or crew management. - No way to base calendar on Man-hours (for small projects this would be helpful) - For those billing different people at different rates (skilled treads men/apprentice) Multiple reports need to be exported as this information can not be displayed on a single spread sheet the way the system is set up - To add a higher level of data tracking the cost jumps up fast. For small to mid size projects it is just not worth the cost. - Costs are billed per month per project, so for those of us that are busy it can add up when your schedule starts to stretch out (unless you only use the basic features)

Comments: I am so happy about my companies investment in Co-Construct. My only regret is I should have done it sooner. I am saying goodbye to the confusing, glitchy spreadsheets and hello to the organization on a platform that I don't have to build from zero.

Pros: It's a full-service platform for all the major functions a residential GC would ever need. It is just a more organized and professional way of doing business.

Cons: I wish that the calendar had a way to manage appointments and appointment reminders in addition to the project calendar because so often the tasks are the same such as site meetings or presentation of a project to the client.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't start off thinking that you have to use the entire program at the beginning. Build into it slowly using just the calendars, tasks, job logs, and time clock first. Slowly build your calendar and specifications templates up over time. Use a coach and support they are great.

Comments: I can't tell you how much we love Coconstruct. We are new to it, maybe using it 4 months, and I just returned from CoCamp. This software makes charging for extras a breeze, and no hassle with the clients. I'm sure we earn an extra 5-10% on each job due to capturing accurately extra. It makes communication with the client flawless. Every choice, every question is clearly defined and recorded. No installing pewter rather than chrome faucets! It is an easy scheduling system to use, and I love doing our proposals in it. Especially good to keep track of the changes and their resulting costs that you make as you go through the negotiations with a client on the job. CoCamp was very worthwhile. I was skeptical because I was already pretty good at using some features. And it was totally worthwhile. Learned a lot of new things, and I learned some very important things unrelated to Coconstruct from colleagues- stuff like marketing. Thanks for putting together a great program! Comments: We've had the software for about 3 years now and I would highly recommend CoCamp. After going to this it really opened our eyes to a lot more features. Customer support is top of the industry I've not had to wait more than a minute to get somebody live on the phone and walk me through any issues I'm having. I recall one particular client that said we were the highest bid by over 10,000 but they went with us because of our technology and this software because it made it easier for them. We've had multiple clients say the same even ones that live out of the state and we do projects for them locally they still feel like they have their hand on the project. I would recommend this to any contractor remodeler or Builder. With the pace of Technology if someone's not offering this type of service to their clients and trade partners I think it could be a disservice and a holding back.

Comments: We worked with BuilderTREND for several years but were not using all the features and were not super happy. We took a look and CoConstruct and found it to be much better suited for our entire company. I work with the scheduling all the time now with all our projects - large and small. My son Paul and I use the estimating to generate proposals and budgets and Paul is starting to use all the financial components to tie into Quickbooks. He even is starting to push time clock hours into Quickbooks for payroll. Our field people love the To-Do and the schedules.

Pros: I personally love the scheduling. Easy to move around and update. The fact that the selection deadlines tie into the schedule is a great feature.

Cons: It was great being able to work in person with the CoConstruct people during CoCamp. I wish St. Louis was much closer to Virginia so we could go back for some more one on one.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take the time to go to CoCamp - the time spent in Virginia will be will worth it. With their Classroom training and the one on one time, you will more than get that time back with how quickly you will be up and running.

Comments: Our experience with CoConstruct has been a very positive one thus far. The support staff is great and has been more than willing to eagerly answer all of our questions during implementation. CoCamp is very helpful and motivating. The team at this company has set up a great model for success for themselves and their clients by staying involved in the learning process until they are sure you are understanding and USING their software. It has helped our principal take control of the jobs with better communication with our subs and our clients all in one place. There is a lot of work on the front end, but the results are worth it. Not to mention, these guys really seem to take a vested interest in our success as a company ¿ they remembered me by face and name when I approached them at the IBS booth, which to me shows the level of care they have for their clients. I feel like this product is more than just software. I see CoConstruct as an extension of our team, as they truly seem to be motivated to help with achieving growth and success for our company partially through providing a tool to organize and communicate better on jobs but also through constant feedback and checking in to be sure everything is being implemented and working for our needs. Really... I can't compliment them enough.

Comments: I have been using Co-construct for several months and it has been one of the Best investments I have made for my company. I tried much other scheduling, estimating programs and this one by far are the easiest to work with. Being somewhat of a Luddite, most applications are difficult to comprehend. I'm also from the old school-"if it works, don't fix it". In this case, it wasn't so much fixing as it was enhancing, making my work easier, like switching from hand tools to machine tools. The price? In my opinion, I have saved countless hours by not repeating the sequence of transferring information.

Pros: I like the ease to work with. However if not for the "over the top support", it would take me longer to learn the product, not so much because it's difficult, but because I have a difficult time with computers and learning any new computer program. Don't get me wrong, this product is not simplistic. On the contrary, it is very professional. I like the fact that I do not have to send and receive countless emails, change orders, etc. Everything is done on the program. I like the fact that my customers, supplier, and sub-contractors have free access to it and can use it for communicating EVERYTHING, schedules, timelines, pictures, plans, you name it. I cannot say enough good things about the support team. They are available almost 24 hours. You are dealing with people who know how to communicate effectively, in good English (they are in the US). They make their own videos to explain something for difficult people like me and always follow up. This is the best part of this Company in my opinion.

Cons: The only complaint I have is from my clients and sub-contractors who get confused how to sign in, but once I contact the support team, within hours they respond directly to those people and assist them.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are looking for a product to help you be more organized, save time, communicate better with clients and vendors, this is the product for you. You will (I shouldn't say this) but ask yourself- how can they do all this for such a great price?!

Comments: Co-Construct allows great opportunity for open communication between the builder, client and trade partners. Messages can be coded to be viewed by all three or a select group. It's a great place to store photographs, quotes, selections, etc. As the company Controller, I use Co-Construct to make sure items are coded correctly and are in the budget. The budget feature gives me a quick overview of this. The notes field is great to make quick notes to clients or for internal use only. I love the interaction with QuickBooks, although some functionality needs to be improved there.

Pros: Great tool for keeping a running tab on the budget and any revisions. Great tool to let the clients see the invoices charged to their job and to what categories.

Cons: Uploads estimate to QuickBooks more than one time and do not overwrite but add to. We will be addressing this with Co-Construct, but that is the main negative I see at this time.

Recommendations to other buyers: Easy to use and a great place to keep a lot of information accessible to all who need it.

Comments: I've been working with Co-construct for 3 months and like the functions, it can perform with a single entry of data. It does take a time to learn the program implement it into the daily workflow, but I think the effort will be well worth the results. The benefits of streamlining the project communications are the best I've seen and the ability to send out estimates, bids, and messages are excellent. Comments: I've used other software, but they didn't have the support that co-construct has. They also send you tips and great emails with valuable information to help setup and get going. Easy for the field team to use to track projects and other project details. Great app and website for client collaboration also.

Pros: The easy of collaboration between trade partners, employees and clients.

Cons: The time sheets can be modified by employees. So we use another software for time tracking.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure to be ready to invest some time into learning and setting it up. Its worth it.

Comments: Co-Construct is a great product. It's probably the easiest to use fully featured construction software out there. I get a lot out of it. It still has a few weak spots, but they are constantly releasing new updates that truly make it better, and their customer service is literally the BEST I have ever received. I really can't speak highly enough of their support. Never seen anything like it in a tech company.

Pros: Amazing customer service/support Fair pricing Easy to understand Makes my life more organized

Cons: Takes a lot of setup time (not sure there's any way around this, though, to be fair) Wish it had materials take-off capabilities A few weak spots in the software implementation, but not deal breakers

Comments: One of my favorites parts of Co-Construct, and there are many, is the Open Work Item Summary that arrives in my inbox every morning. It is a snapshot of everything that is on the board for the day and a reminder of things over due or things that are coming up. It helps sharpen our focus on the tasks at hand while keeping an eye on the overall scheduled workload.

Pros: Ease of use

Cons: It's a powerful software so it takes a little while to understand the various possibilities.

Recommendations to other buyers: Go all in; it will be an exercise in frustration to only partially implement it. It's front end heavy, and you'll have to spend time coaching your employees and sub-trades alike, but it is absolutely worth it!

Comments: I think we've been able to integrate the program in a relatively short period of time with the combination of co-camp and the help from the co-construct team. We've already seen a significant improvement in communication among the different parties involved in our projects, and are very much looking forward to the benefits of a more streamlined process as we prepare for what we expect to be a very busy year ahead.

Comments: We have been using co-construct for over 5 years and it has been Incredible Journey right from the start. Co-construct is always changing and always improving. It has been more than once that we have said "wouldn't it be nice if Co-construct would do this" and it hasn't been long and Donny has announced the new update and they are implementing exactly what we had wished for. It is an excellent tool to help manage your projects right from the first sales call, tracking your budget, tracking the expenses for the customers, all the way through to your last warranty items.

Pros: The big thing for us is that it has helped us be transparent and the customer knows where they're at even before they commit to build. What we really like about it is that it has been built from a client's perspective instead of being built primarily for what the builder needs. It is catering to the client and it's easy for them to use and very easy for them to understand where they're at and what they are getting. Then on top of that the bonus is it is a tremendous tool for the builder to manage things like: -Budgets -selections -upgrades -Employee time clock -Warranty Items

Cons: The one thing that would be an advantage for us would be if the product would interact with sage 50 as not as we don't use QuickBooks. Other than I have no complaints, it performs up to our expectations and we look forward to seeing new things being rolled out by co-construct in the future.

Recommendations to other buyers: My advice to others would be if you've got any hesitation on going with the product just stop and think, Have you had any challenge in the past year with managing you are prospects or things like change orders, selections? If so this is the product for you!! Yes, it will take some time to set up, but unlike lots of products Co-construct has done lots of the work already for you and they have a fantastic support team that does a phenomenal job of helping with any questions or problems you may have in setup or in day to day use. Set your Co-construct up properly and it will save you much time into the future and you'll come out looking like a pro to your customers. Yes, our team is a daily user of Co-construct and is speaking from experience.

Ben -- Thanks for the note. We did want to let you know that there are several ways to create change orders in the system. If you have all of your selections in the system, you can, with a couple of clicks, turn those decisions into change orders. If it's a non-selections item, you can simply create a new document, type in the change, put in the amount, and click who needs to approve it. So, whichever route you go, Co-construct has a secure way to quickly create COs and get digital signature signoffs on them. Regarding QuickBooks, we do support a subset of QuickBooks Desktop features for users on Canadian Edition. We are looking at updating that to include the full feature set in the not-too-distant future.

Comments: Co-Construct is like an all-knowing assistant that you should hire on the spot. It has the ability to let you get your life back and enjoy your business and owning your business instead of letting your business own you. Co-Construct solves the problems you hear from your Clients, Partners, Employees, and the voices in your head at 3am.

Pros: The ability of the software is obvious. The key "pros" to me was learning the commitment of the employees behind the scenes. They genuinely believe in the product and are just as enthusiastic about new development, customer support, and being a great business partner, as I am.

Cons: The "cons" to me are shapeable into "pros". This software is not simple to use ...at the beginning. It is difficult at first to understand why all the upfront work in developing your Client templates is necessary. However, a commitment to a training class opened the doors and made sense of the importance of the upfront investment of time and thought. It develops the knowledge that unleashes the power of the product.

Recommendations to other buyers: To say this software is robust is an understatement. For that reason, this is not an out-of-the-box solution. Don't take it lightly. I was overwhelmed at first and then learned that a 2-day Co-Construct Camp was necessary to break down the barrier for success. Now the product makes sense and is being developed into a true business partner. My advice, be seriously committed about the investment.
