Owned by Porch, and Porch tries to overtake your company with their branding and doesn't inform you of changes that annoy my clients and customers.

It has been a pleasure working with ISN

Pros

Hi, ISN makes creating the home inspection orders easy and you can add a termite inspection company also. The emails go out automatically with is great. It won't let the clients open the report without payment and signatures which is a wonderful feature. It is very easy to enter the information and receive the pricing.

Cons

I really can't think of anything that I do not like about ISN.

### "ISN really helps our business"

With ISN we always know where we are revenue wise and can compare how we're doing with previous years.

Pros

ISN keeps our entire home inspection business running smoothly. I highly rely on their customer support to help me learn how to use the features that I don't use on a regular basis and they're always very nice and helpful.

Cons

I always struggle with sending mass emails and setting up containers and templates.

When we started ISN probably 15 years ago, we weren't aware of any other products.

Pros

Love the ease in communicating with our customers. Making it so easy to be able to keep in touch prior to, during and after home inspections. Keeping records completely straight is important and ISN does do that. We are very happy with ISN.

Cons

There is really nothing I dislike about ISN. Pretty happy with it.

Been using this software since I started this job almost five years ago and it's fantastic. Simple to use, and always support available if needed. They will stay with you until it's solved.

Pros

I had issues with ISN and contacted the User support live chat. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] immediately came online to help me and stuck with me through every step of the way until we got it taken care of. Great support!

Cons

There's nothing about it I don't like. Have used this product for a long time and do not have anything to compare it to.

Pros

ISN is always helpful and usually available to help! Unlike many of the other providers. I believe what sets ISN apart is the ability to answer a phone and help you (me) through any issues I am having and they do a great job with teaching you. I would recommend ISN to any of my colleges. ISN business model sets them apart from competitors because of the customer service team that actually answers a phone in this new chat support life.

Cons

Porch pushed onto my clients, I don't like have Porch tied to ISN

Pros

Brings organization to running a home inspection company. Helps document and store info about clients, realtors and inspections.

Cons

Sometimes have issues finding information as there are so many stat based options that somewhat clutter things that I actually use.

### "So good…."

Pros

Inspector support network is a very valuable tool I use on a daily basis. It is so good that when I left the company who I work for that was using ISN, I signed up and started using it for my own company. The software takes a lot of the headaches away from owning a home inspection company.

Cons

The only car that I can come up with is the payment processing company that they recommend.

### "Was good until they got greedy"

Was great until the company was sold to to a service provider. Big conflict of interest.

Pros

Ease of interface with our reporting software.

Cons

They refuse to add simple features that we request such as a provision to integrate Square payments and my preferred vendors. They raised the rate super high to try and force us to use their service providers in exchange for the monthly fee. Conflict of interest.

Overall ISN has been super helpful in running my business. Any time I need tech support or assistance, they are very helpful and friendly any time I need them.

Pros

I love that this software helps my business run systematically which alleviates a lot of leg work daily.

Cons

There is actually so many things you can do with this software, that I don’t even utilize half of it. But this is not a bad thing, it just takes time to getting used to and in slowly revising as my company grows.

Pros

It's very easy to use, deploy, and provides a seamless business transaction between the business \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and the client. Customer service is really great.

Cons

Sometimes customer service is slow to respond and they have no support on the weekend which I really don't understand. Also, features, even the ones that obviously make sense to create and deploy sometimes takes way too long to develop and implement.

### "Inspection Support Network ... Time saver you need"

Pros

ISN has automated the sending of many different templates, contracts, time reiminders, thank yous, invoices. etc to clients & realtors, removing the drudgery of remebering to send paper work at critical times prior to and after inspection. Knowing whether a contract has been received and not returned allows for easy followup with client and reduces chances of legal dispute.

Cons

There are no cons except as the software grows it is not always as intuitive as it was

### "Very Expensive, Overwhelming, Deceptive Effort to Share Data"

Automated emails and digital contract signing. These can be obtained elsewhere for far less money.

Pros

I like the automated emails and digital signing ability for contracts. This was a very useful tool for my business.

Cons

Significantly overpriced for using the features. Betty difficult to set up. In fact I had to have them set it up initially and then I had a hard time making changes. It feels like small features were added for niche customers over the years and it became so bloated. The billing practices are interesting because they keep charging you per month even if you don't use it. They were unwilling to refund 2 months where I didn't realize this. They sold out to a company that farms and sells your data to provide leads to contractors for a price. They are owned by Porch.com Overall this company earned the trust of a nation of inspectors and then took advantage of it. And they just keep hammering it home.

### "It used to be better."

When I started \[sensitive content hidden\] was the best. Support is still great, but I don't like having to opt out of anything. I should have to opt in.

Pros

I like being able to send agreements electronically and run credit cards through the system.

Cons

I don't like Porch mining data or marketing to my clients.

Reason for choosing Inspection Support Network

It was the only thr option at the time. I was going to switch to NXT, but then Nathan sold out to Porch too.

### "Foundation and Structural Engineering Scheduling"

It is a solid scheduling program and if I have a problem, the team is very helpful.

Pros

It is easy to use and the reports are also easy to access.

Cons

It is geared for Home Inspectors and it would be great if we could make a few changes to gear it toward engineers. Also, the search feature drop box gets in the way of seeing what you have searched for, ie, home addresses.

Pros

Easy to operate, great inspection scheduling capabilities, mass email marketing managing inspection documents all in one place make it a game changer.

Cons

The inspection package set up and correlation to users is not as user-friendly as it could be for clients or the users.
