Other programs didn't have the full range of possibilities in my eyes. Cons I want to schedule and prioritize workloads. In my eyes, this field can be optimized. The Customer support is the over the top, every question I have and every obstacle I come across is dealt with quickly and efficiently. I'm quite impressed by the team!! Pros The roadmap feature is very good and it helped to organize some of our project timelines. I like that it's more than just a roadmap, you can integrate with Jira, you can add tasks. There are so many options, it's very useful Cons Some of the navigation is a bit confusing, it's not as intuitive as I would like it to be. Review Source AL Ada L. Pros It enables us to manage the annual plan and the every day project requests. We are now able to see how the requests tie back to the annual plan. Aha! is also very flexible to allow for customized fields which is very important to us. It also has great import/export capability for features and ideas. Cons The import capability is a bit lacking. The other thing that I don't like is how to select the product filtering. Since we have a lot of products (300+) defined, since there is no select all option in filtering, many times I need to click many times to select all the products that I need to be included in the list/reports. Pros The tool itself is pretty robust and has good integration capabilities to JIRA and Zendesk. But the best part I would say is the Customer Support because they are quick to get back to you and patient while you are working through your own user errors. Cons Some of the customizations is not as easy or quick to find but the documentation is top notch so often times, if you just did a Google search and read through the documentation, you will get everything you need. Pros We now use Aha! instead of an intranet to manage internal-product requests for our software. This has been much easier than managing our own proprietary system. Cons I'm not sure if this is an access issue, but we don't have an ability to upload images. This would help when explaining the necessity of product requests to our development team. They were focused on getting me the background I needed to setup successfully. Pros JIRA Integration, Place to capture and prioritize ideas and process improvements. the templates were great since we spin up new projects regularly. Cons It has been a challenge to get PMs out of the MS Project Mindset to managing those project details in Aha. Maybe a job/tool that helps effectively communicate how best to make that transition? Cons It could became little nightmare if you don't start with specific plan and idea all the configuration from the beginning of the usage and implementation, since many teams with different approaches and ideas may quickly make your day more busy. Very quick to get started with easy to understand guides and steps. Great tool for gathering ideas and user feedback through a configurable portal you can embed on your website. The ideas gathered can be voted on and elevated to the roadmap. Integration with Jira for task managment. We're a small startup, and have had lots of documents lying around for fund raising that we now can find in one place. The gantt chart is really helpful for roadmap planning and it makes it easy to schedule work. It makes working with remote teams in other countries really easy and streamlined. We use it regularly to manage our product. It assists us with linking our strategy directly to the work we do. It also helps create easily shareable roadmaps (both with traditional through PDF and modern stakeholders through the PDF). It also integrates with tools like ASANA, so different teams can easily align . Ditch more manual software for your roadmap planning and start trying it out (with all features) for free! Cons The software works as intended and as it was marketed. My only small complaint is the redundancy of having to manage users for each individual product. Once they are loaded and granted access, one should be able to control permissions for the users within products themselves. Since table extensibility is our primary concern - I'm not sure why you would limit a trial functionality. Pros The ability to extend meta data by building external tables is a must have feature for us! This allows us to apply industry specific taxonomies to help us prioritize. Cons The abbreviated menu structure isn't as intuitive as it could be although there seems to be ways to get to records alternate ways if you search help. Review Source JS John S. Pros The idea portal is most capable one available -- and the system provide a full lifecycle solution. Cons It is very feature rich and as a result, it takes time to learn it and understand it. For someone who may want to just start with just an idea portal, its a steep climb. That said, its a system that you can grow into and avoid having a number of point solutions. Finding some good use cases Pros It is quite easy to generate a basic roadmap and I am learning every day. Cons The lack of functionality within in the presentations section. Pros The visual options for displaying our roadmap to stakeholders outside of the product team is the primary reason we chose aHa as it makes it much easier to see what is coming.
