It was a great experience using zoom but it made more sense to utilize a platform that was more streamlined.

Pros

What I liked most about zoom was being able to integrate my meetings into my calendars, which helped me a lot with organizing.

Cons

I didn't like how it wasn't used by most of my clients, I felt like it was an underrated platform that should have been used more.

communication with internal teams and external partners remotely at the same time; it makes coordination much smoother.

Pros

I liked it because the video and audio quality is very reliable, meetings are easy to organize, and it works well even with different network connections, which is important in my field.

Cons

the free version is quite limited, and managing multiple meetings can become repetitive, but overall it is a solid tool.

Overall, Zoom Workplace has been reliable and easy to support. It does what we need it to do, especially for video calls, screen sharing, and meetings with people outside the organization. Most users are already familiar with it, which cuts down on training and support requests. The meeting experience is generally consistent, although we occasionally run into the usual microphone, camera, or permission issues. Customer support and the available documentation are helpful, but troubleshooting some account or licensing problems can take more time than expected. It provides good value if your organization actively uses the meeting and collaboration features. If you only need basic video conferencing, though, the full platform can feel like more than you actually need.

Pros

Zoom is easy to use and most people already know how to join a meeting without needing much help. The video and audio quality are usually solid, screen sharing works well, and scheduling meetings is straightforward. It works across different devices and makes it easy to collaborate with both internal employees and outside clients.

Cons

The application has become more cluttered as additional features have been added. Some of the newer collaboration tools feel unnecessary if you mainly use Zoom for meetings, and finding certain settings can take longer than it should. Updates also seem to happen frequently and occasionally cause minor audio, camera, or sign-in issues.

Reasons for choosing Zoom Workplace

Zoom was already widely recognized, and most employees and clients knew how to use it without much explanation. It also made external meetings easier because people could join from almost any device without being part of our Microsoft 365 environment. Microsoft Teams works well internally, but Zoom provided a simpler and more consistent experience when meeting with outside clients.

It has been excellent, as being the host of an podcast project for the company it has been a lifesaver to record the sessions with Zoom.

Pros

The effectiveness and security it provides when we issue our staff meetings and recruitment interviews. I appreciate the quality, the video and easiness to navigate.

Cons

Sometimes it is very difficult to look at the special features or using emoticons, also that sometimes the links get an error.

Zoom Workplace has become a critical part of our daily business operations. We rely on it for customer introductions, sales meetings, vendor discussions, project planning, technical support, and internal collaboration. The platform is intuitive, dependable, and consistently provides a professional meeting experience that helps us communicate effectively with customers and business partners.

Pros

Zoom Workplace is a reliable, easy-to-use platform that delivers high-quality audio and video for meetings of all sizes. It has become an essential communication tool for customer meetings, sales presentations, remote collaboration, training sessions, and internal team discussions, with dependable screen sharing and collaboration features.

Cons

The free version has meeting time limitations, and some advanced collaboration and administrative features require higher-tier licensing. Occasionally, network connectivity can impact call quality, although this is generally outside of Zoom's control.

"Overall, my experience with Zoom Workplace has been highly positive and productive. It is a robust tool that simplifies remote communication and makes virtual collaboration efficient for any team."

Pros

"Zoom has been a reliable solution for our virtual meetings, and its screen-sharing feature is truly outstanding. The clarity and responsiveness when sharing presentations or documents are excellent, which makes collaboration seamless even with large teams. I appreciate how easy it is to switch between different windows and control access permissions during a session. It has significantly improved our workflow and communication efficiency. I highly recommend Zoom for any business or educational setting that requires stable and high-quality screen-sharing capabilities for daily remote interaction."

Cons

"Occasionally, the application can feel a bit resource-heavy on older devices, and the feature-rich interface can be slightly overwhelming for new users at first. However, these are minor points compared to its overall performance and utility."

The only thing I don't like about Zoom is when you use it on your phone the connection keeps dropping during zoom meetings and you if a meeting is closed one has tomeeage the hosts and ask them to let me back in again.

Pros

Reliable Performance: Video and audio quality are consistently strong. It handles large-scale webinars and cross-team meetings with ease.Built-in AI Tools: The AI Companion is a standout, providing automated meeting summaries, action items, and quick catch-up threads so users don't miss a beat.Usable Whiteboard & Collaboration: Unlike some clunky alternatives, the interactive whiteboard and screen-sharing tools are highly functional directly during live calls.Calendar & Email Integration: Seamless syncing with tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook makes scheduling and tracking invitations virtually frictionless.

Cons

System Resource Heavy: The desktop client can consume significant battery life and processing power, which can lead to performance lags on older machines.Feature Creep: Because Zoom has packed in so many new features—such as Mail, Calendar, and Notes—some users feel the interface has become slightly cluttered compared to its originally stripped-back design.Learning Curve: Navigating the dozens of advanced settings can feel overwhelming to less tech-savvy users.
