### "Zoom means Easier"

April 22, 2026

5.0

When using zoom I feel like it makes it more effective when meeting with clients or holding meetings. It has been an appropriate way to efficiently communicate with others after covid.

Pros

When using zoom, I feel like it has been an effective way to be able to give the flexibility for clients when scheduling appointments. It allows for me and staff to come together to discuss things happening within the agency or within our clients. I would say it is cost efficient and and easy to navigate. The video calls show a great visual compared to others application I have used.

Cons

There are not anything that I dislike about zoom as I use it on a daily basis. Like most applications. There can be some lagging but not very often

### "Classic for a Reason"

March 1, 2026

5.0

Considering all of the video conferencing software out there, Zoom has been my preferred platform for years because of its ease of use—for both myself and call attendees—and because it doesn't overload my computer like other platforms have.

Pros

I like that call attendees don't need a Zoom account or even to download the app on their device in order to join a call. Screen sharing, including with sound, is really easy, and I like that the Mac app allows for me to move the call window around over the top of whatever I'm sharing so I can organize my screen in a way that works well for me. The whiteboard feature is also really handy. And I like that when I record calls, I can simply share a link to the replay page without having to upload the file to YouTube or another platform for viewing.

Cons

The initial storage for call recordings is quite limited, and considering the lowest yearly business license is not particularly cheap, I end up having to download recordings I want to keep and then save the Zoom storage for the few calls I want to have available for sharing the replay link. The settings pages are also incredibly convoluted and are seemingly often reorganized, so it can be difficult to access what you need, especially when scheduling workshop calls in advance.

Zoom was far better for online education, especially in terms of screen sharing, participant reactions, and the ability to password-protect sessions.

### "Zoom - good for personal use, not for big companies"

March 20, 2026

2.0

Zoom is a good app for personal use or for collaboration in a very small team (up to 10 people probably). I can't imaging using it for a huge company with several thousands of employees.

Pros

\-Zoom is a very straightforward app that will allow you to do video calls. Video calls are high quality, can't complain about this. - Zoom portal administration is very intuitive and easy For me that's basically all the pros I have

Cons

My company uses Zoom as a secondary app for video calls. As an Admin - I hate it. Let's start with Value for Money: Zoom is expensive. There are multiple tiers of subscriptions - Basic one is free but has lot's of limitations (40 minute calls, number of people who can join, etc.) - Paid licenses are very expensive and you will think twice before giving a license to a user. - Zoom is buggy. You can't imagine how many times something went wrong with it. Integrations work really bad with Microsoft Office apps. I have to reinstall it constantly. Zoom's interface is horrible. On a first look it's very simple, but there is no logic in it. - We are Microsoft 365 environment - we use Teams for collaborations and file management - Zoom wouldn't work for you if are M365 organization. - Can't say anything about customer support since we usually troubleshoot everything in house

### "Seamless Remote Collaboration and Efficient Meeting Management Tool"

April 17, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Zoom Workplace has been very positive. It has been a reliable tool for connecting with clients, students, and staff members for meetings, training sessions, and remote support. The platform is easy to use, and features like screen sharing, annotation and remote control make troubleshooting and collaboration more efficient. The video and audio quality are consistently strong, which helps maintain smooth communication during sessions. The ability to easily record meetings on the cloud or directly to the computer is extremely useful, and the transcript feature is superb for reviewing discussions and maintaining records. Additionally, meeting assets are automatically sent to email, which eliminates the need to manually prepare minutes of meeting and saves a significant amount of time.

Pros

This product is my go-to solution for any remote connection with clients, students, or staff members. I can quickly take remote control of their screen and resolve issues efficiently. The video and audio quality are excellent, and the platform is very easy to navigate. The option of using a personal meeting room is especially helpful, just start the meeting, and participants can connect directly without any complications. It has significantly improved our response time and made remote troubleshooting much more efficient. Overall, it is a reliable and user-friendly tool that supports smooth communication and collaboration.

Cons

While the platform is highly reliable, the quality of remote sessions can occasionally be affected by weak internet connections, and some advanced features may take time for new users to learn.

### "My go-to for webinars, workshops & trainings"

February 28, 2026

5.0

I run a mix of webinars, workshops, and trainings through Zoom and it's become a core part of how I work. It just works, which is exactly what you need when you're live with a room full of people.

Pros

Zoom has been genuinely dependable for hosting webinars and larger sessions. The audio and video quality holds up well even with many participants, and joining from any device is seamless. Setup is minimal, which matters when you're coordinating a big group.

Cons

The free tier time limit can be a hurdle when running longer sessions or trainings. Some advanced settings are hidden and not very intuitive.

Alternatives considered

[Google Meet](https://www.capterra.com/p/176572/Google-Hangouts/)

Reason for choosing Zoom Workplace

Zoom offers more advanced facilitation features than Google Meet. Breakout rooms are easier to manage and more flexible. Host controls, security settings, and participant management are stronger. Audio and video stability are more consistent in larger groups. It also integrates better with external tools for professional production. For structured workshops and trainings, it simply feels more robust and reliable.

### "Zoom is a solid tool for business!"

March 18, 2026

5.0

Great experience with solid customer support! We spent countless hours on the Zoom meeting platform, and it was a Godsend in the covid world, and post-covid world where so many calls and meetings have gone virtual.

Pros

My team used Zoom workplace for over 6 years with my real estate team every single week for team meetings, plus various other meetings for recording online trainings, virtual client meetings, and more. It's super easy to setup recurring meetings, share the meeting details, and manage past recording files, and more. The customer support was solid.

Cons

It wasn't super easy to sync the invite link into our Google Calendar, so we would just put the info inside the calendar invite notes.

### "Zoom is amazing"

April 8, 2026

5.0

When working in corporate world, I used it every day, multiple times a day, both for ad hoc calls, and meetings. Very user friendly very easy to use.

Pros

\* Easy to make internal calls. \* Easy to send call invites to external users \* Great for Sharon your screen, and choosing what to share \* You can blur your background (some people should learn to blur their unmade bed when working from home), or select any background you want. \* lots of fun features to change your appearance \* Unlike Teams, very easy to install and use from phone.

Cons

\* You cannot just call someone external. You need to email them the link, and as to join (via email or phone) \* Not easy to give someone control of your screen I would prefer a better way of telling me that my camera is on.

### "Good for the money"

March 21, 2026

5.0

It is a good place to get started on webinars and classrooms. Unfortunately I had to move on to latforms with more capabilities like editing and storage on the cloud, as well at 4K playback.

Pros

Easy to use. Easy to navigate and easy to invite guests. guests can share their screens. Valuable tool in my coaching service.

Cons

I would prefer if the recordings were stored in a zoom cloud, rather than on my computer. The large files were inconvenient to store and not easily cataloged vs compared to other platforms.

Pros

Zoom does what is needed of it, for business and personal use. People prefer it when booking meetings, so it's a must-have on your desktop.

Cons

### "To me this is the standard of video conferencing."

December 7, 2025

5.0

Very useful for teaching martial arts online and hosting game nights during and since the pandemic. I find it much more user friendly than teams or any other video call service.

Pros

I really like that it's free to use for the participants, and that you only need one paid subscription to have longer than 45 minutes. But if you really need it to be longer, you can just restart the video. Zoom is easy to use compared to all other video platforms. It's never had any bugs and they update it regularly. Never needed customer support because it just works. I like the features involved for video conferencing, makes it esay to participate and feel like you're there. Also, the email reminder are handy and links are easy to click and use and send.

Cons

I think some of the views could be updated. Sometimes i just want to see the host and myself side by side. The chat is sometimes hard to use on mobile. I also wish it was easier to stream background music over your "class" without it messing with the audio.

### "Zoom Workplace an all encompassing tool"

September 30, 2025

5.0

My overall experience has been great over the years. The product offering has only gotten more extensive and helpful. It really encompasses a full work suite now. That I only need one app to do a ton.

Pros

The thing I like most about Zoom Workplace is that it is extremely easy to collaborate with your co workers and reach them when needed. The built in AI makes things very conveinent.

Cons

The thing I would say I like the least about Zoom Workplace would be that when things and feautres are added that there really isn't a way to learn how to use them in app.

### "Reliable and Productive"

September 8, 2025

5.0

Zoom Workplace provide a platform that we can reply on; remove the need to maintain hardware on-prem. Features rich Zoom meeting not only allow us to support users that English is not their native but also users with visual and hearing impairment

Pros

We were able to remove all on-prem servers and hardware from legacy system on both voice and video. We can now provide unified experience for our end users using single client application is available on most devices and OS. Our users no longer need to switch between application for voice and video. The flexibility of the system allow us to comply with countries we operate in and maintain the same security feature and data protection.

Cons

The licensing can be difficult to navigate; use can easily end up with paying for features that are not applicable to their organization. Zoom is a enterprise products that smaller company might find it too feature rich.

### "Video Calling with Zoom is Second to None"

August 2, 2025

5.0

Overall positive. Can use all the functions possible to make any environment productive and private with little effort.

Pros

Zoom is used as the main video calling tool across teams domestically. It is a key feature for giving company wide updates as well as private meetings for increasing productivity. the Notion AI notes is helpful for more engaging conversations with people rather than note taking only

Cons

Zoom tool bar can be frustrating to work with especially when sharing screen as it takes up a long amount of space. This can block the tool bar when sharing screen and using a search browser at the same time.

June 23, 2025

5.0

Pros

I like how zoom workplace when has many different features that make it a central hub for our team chat via zoom chat options as-well as being able to facilitate scheduled meetings.

Cons

I do not like their notification system as it can tend to be a bit spotty as it will try to send notifications to your current active application. This can cause issues to not receiving notifications on the go and turning off feature tends to be just as spotty.

### "Essential for my remote role, and super convenient"

January 28, 2026

5.0

Really simple to use and very convenient. Personally, it allows me to work remotely and still be connected to my team through daily video calls, not just audio-only conversations

Pros

Super easy to send out invites and schedule calls for 1-to-1 calls all the way to webinars with 1000s of viewers. Nice annotation features when someone is sharing their screen

Cons

One problem is that everyone has a different microphone volume. It would be nice if there were better "audio balancing" where louder microphones are made quieter and vice versa for quieter ones. It would also be nice to have some way to highlight people who are talking at once due to lag. It can be hard to identify who was speaking in large calls

### "Zoom is the GOAT for Remote Work!"

January 9, 2026

I appreciate the power of Zoom Workplace because it allows individuals to connect across the world with high-definition video and audio to be more efficient in their work.

Pros

Zoom is very easy to use and it looks aesthetically pleasing. It is an amazing platform for video conferencing and webinars for my work meetings.

Cons

Zoom can sometimes have difficulties relaying video or audio properly, but this rarely happens. I believe the free account meetings should be a minimum of 60 minutes instead of 40 minutes.

### "Great for Short Meetings, Less Ideal for Long Calls"

December 26, 2025

4.0

Zoom is useful for large online conferences and livestreams, and it works great for shorter meetings on the free plan. For longer calls though, you’ll likely need to upgrade to get the most out of it.

Pros

Smooth, modern UI with lots of great features available for free. It’s super easy to invite others, works well for groups, and the breakout rooms and chat features are especially helpful and intuitive.

Cons

Occasional security concerns like Zoom bombing can be an issue, and some useful features are locked behind paywalls which can be frustrating to work around. Audio during screen sharing can also be inconsistent at times and doesn’t always work smoothly.

### "A reliable tool for virtual meetings"

October 17, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Zoom Workplace has been good. The platform is reliable and easy to use, and it really helps with remote work. However, the customer support could be more responsive — sometimes it takes a while to get answers or help with technical problems. Aside from that, it’s a great tool for communication and teamwork.

Pros

I appreciate how simple it is to organise meetings and send out invitations, especially for those without a lot of technical knowledge. The screen-sharing features facilitate collaboration, and the audio and video quality is incredibly dependable. The chat and breakout room functions are particularly great since they foster a sense of community among distant team members.

Cons

The platform occasionally consumes a lot of computing power, which can cause older devices to lag. Additionally, only subscription plans offer some additional capabilities like cloud recording or higher participant limitations. More free choices for small teams would be fantastic.

Pros

It works really easily/smoothly without any Bugs and Issues. I am using Zoom Workplace from a long time (almost 2-3 years now). It is a really good app to meet people anytime and anywhere. Work can be done remotely using Zoom workplace. The quality of audio, video conference and video call is fantastic. It is a good value for money and i really recommend it to everyone. The most important thing is customer service to me - they are really active and responsive.

### "Reliable and Essential Tool for Work, Learning, and Audits"

May 14, 2025

5.0

Zoom has evolved into more than just a video conferencing tool—it’s a core part of how we communicate and get work done, especially in a hybrid or remote setting. Whether it was for university group projects or facilitating a formal ISO audit, Zoom has always delivered when I needed it.

Pros

Zoom has been a consistent part of my life since university, and it continues to be essential in my professional career. It’s incredibly easy to use, even for non-technical participants, and offers a stable and reliable platform for both one-on-one meetings and larger team calls. In my current role, I use Zoom daily to coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams. It played a major role in helping us complete our ISO 27001 audits remotely, enabling seamless collaboration with external auditors and stakeholders. The screen sharing, breakout rooms, and recording features are particularly useful.

Cons

Occasionally, I’ve run into audio issues or dropped connections, especially when someone has low bandwidth. Also, the webinar and large meeting features require separate licensing, which can be a bit of a hassle for occasional use. More flexibility in the pricing for small teams would be helpful.
