I didn't use it as a collaboration or team communication tool. But the video conferencing solution works great. You almost never run into problems. Pros I like that Zoom offers good quality meeting capabilites. It just works. And you have many options during a meeting, that you can use like screen sharing, whiteboards, breakout rooms and so on. Zoom is the go to solution, when you want to have good quality video conferencing. Cons It requires a client to have best quality use. It's also not very privacy friendly. Cons It is quite stubborn on saving names when you use it on a device so it becomes a hassle when you need to edit it preemptively to a meeting. While I’m not eager to jump on using it for meetings, I also don’t mind having meetings on it on a weekly basis. Pros It’s pretty easy to learn, and very efficient for company-wide meetings. The screen record feature is also nice and comes in handy often. Cons It feels clunky and outdated sometimes, like a COVID necessity, but a little strange in a post COVID world. I had a couple meetings from Teams, Webex, and Meet. Not only I had difficulties, but also not user friendly. With Zoom, everything was in ease, like creating the meeting and joining the meeting both via browser or the app. Pros It is very flexible compared to other software. Everyone uses it and everyone seems to be loving it. My experience is not different. I like how I can share my screens, record meetings, share whiteboards, etc. Pros Zoom Workplace is fantastic. For a reasonable price, the feature it allows is great. I really like the blur background and change background feature on meetings as it allows me to work from my room without showing everyone my room. Another thing I like is the way we can message participants before the meeting starts. It is also straightforward to setup. Cons Sometimes people complain about not being able to join meetings, not being able to share screen or talk. I am not sure if this is due to an error by users or if it has to do with Zoom. I also appreciated the recording feature in which important meetings and webinars could be shared again and again. Cons For me I had connection issues, so this is a reason I discontinued my subscription.
