Very easy to use and implement. Pros Zoom is user friendly, has great features such as break out rooms, polling, and virtual backgrounds that are professional looking. The ability to add custom backgrounds is key since I work as a consultant and like to tailor my background. The whiteboard feature is wonderful for collaborative work and works seamlessly. Another great feature is being able to mute and unmute individuals during meetings. The other great feature of Zoom is the way you can message participants before the meeting starts, whole group, individuals and during meetings. It also has closed captions and translation features as well. Cons It used to be free like most tech but now costs money. Pros It's a smooth platform, allows you to schedule meetings, interact with others and more. Cons Zoom is good in terms of performance for desktop devices, but it consumes a lot of resources (specially battery) in mobile devices. Overall, it's an effective tool for working and remaining connected. Pros Great quality of video and audio and less disruptions. You can share screens and collaborate and even divide into breakout rooms which can help to make meetings more efficient and effective. It is easy to access. Cons Sometimes the network has issues and when the meeting has a large number of people it can have connection issues. The free plan has limited tools and limited time for each meeting. After the employee shortage that COVID caused, there are many times I am not able to leave the office to attend a meeting but do not have to miss out thanks to ZOOM. Cons I have struggled to learn all of the features. For example, if I log in on my phone, I have a professional profile picture. I can log in the same way on my laptop and the picture will not show. I am so glad that it was. Sometimes, several of my employees and vendors may be in different areas. With Zoom Workplace, we can still have weekly or monthly meetings to discuss company policies and goals. The software is easy to navigate and integrate. My favorite feature is how it summarizes what was discussed in meetings. This can then be emailed to each participant or those who may have been unable to attend. Definitely a game changer!
