August 8, 2025 1.0 Their contract practices are sneaky and inflexible. I requested to reduce my number of licenses twice in 2024 — once in March and again in November — and was never told about a “30-day renewal window” for making changes. When my contract renewed in February 2025 for another year (5 licenses I didn’t need), they refused to help, claiming I’d missed that hidden deadline. That clause is nowhere in my original order form and buried in online Terms & Conditions they can change at any time. My admin portal doesn’t even show the contract terms or allow changes — every option just says “contact renewals.” It took weeks of emailing and escalating before they finally agreed to cancel. Auto-renewal terms should be clear and accessible, not hidden behind inaccessible policies and inflexible processes. Pros Reliable and good sound, great mix of features for things like live music and sharing video audio through screenshare. Cons HORRIBLE customer service. It is very user friendly and even those with minimal experience are able to use it relatively easily. The video quality is great, the features are constantly being improved, and I their reputation in this sector is warranted. Pros Zoom Workplace is our go-to application for video conferencing. It is incredibly easy to start or join a meeting right from the app. Connecting a calendar allows for easy scheduling without having to add meetings manually to my Outlook. There is a chat feature, but we don't use that as often. Video conferencing through Zoom is incredibly easy and very reliable. Cons Zoom Workplace has many features, a lot of which we handle through other applications and don't take advantage of. I look forward to seeing additional integrations in the future. Pros I find Zoom to be much more user friendly than many other virtual platforms. The new features, such as AI generated summaries and continuous chat, make meetings more productive. Cons I wish Zoom offered HIPAA compliance to solopreneurs. As is, I am unable to use Zoom directly for any sessions that require HIPAA, unless I integrate into another platform that qualifies for that feature. We were able to tune in for video calls and conferences without having to leave out house and you have the option to comment and message to engage in meetings without having to use your microphone if there is a lot of background noise. Pros I have used zoom workplace a few times to access video calls for work meetings and continuing education classes. It is very convenient to have the option to do a video conference for a meeting or class instead of having to travel across the country or to a different state or classes. I have found it to be fairly easy to use and have not needed customer support. I have used this product for free which makes it very affordable for everyone. Cons I found that there was a small learning curve to using zoom workplace. I wish that there was a how to tutorial for you when you signed up or when you hopped on to a conference. The fact that it has so many built in features to adjust your screen settings, background, and it lets you preview your screen before going live. These are all nice enhancements and the chat button is a life saver when a trouble shooting issues with a patient unmuting or figuring out their camera or audio. Pros This is such a reliable platform that has allowed me the freedom to work wherever I need and continue to provide high quality care. Cons There are multiple windows that need to open to allow accesss to Zoom, so it slows down the pace to get it open and the newest AI component window is needed to keep the camera screen open. Setup was easy, and the software provides value for money, especially as we used it to integrate video calls and interviews to our Eploy ATS/CRM software via the API. Cons Not too much to dislike. It is an easy software, with clear scheduling and good integration, and we haven't run into any issues thus far. I did everything from Al-Anon meetings to Physics classes using Zoom. It allowed me to have some interactions with other people while not spreading germs or having to travel. I enjoy using Zoom more now that we aren't confined to our homes, and it allows me to attend meetings that I couldn't otherwise. Pros Zoom Workplace provides a virtual space for online meetings. The best part of Zoom meetings is the lack of driving time. Cons While Zoom Workplace is great if you can't be somewhere in person, it takes away the personal aspect of gatherings. I like that the interface is always consistent and even their mobile app is very easy to leverage and consistent with the desktop experience. Cons There was not much I did not like about the Zoom Workplace platform. I also think it's pretty easy to use with a lot of buttons have identifying features so you know which one you need to click on. Overall, it makes video calls pretty easy. Cons I think the con of using Zoom Workplace is that some features available on the app aren't available on the browser. I find that I'm often teaching my peers about some of the less known features. I find the whiteboards and clips to be especially helpful. I think zoom ai is one of the top tier notetakers in the marketplace. Pros I enjoy the Zoom whiteboards. They are just as good as Miro. I love the calendar integrations and being able to see my notes directly in my meeting on the calendar. I also LOVE zoom ai. Cons I dislike that the ai summaries are separate from the transcripts. It has taken some of the tasks which were left to already overworked employees and completed in 5 minutes. It has really allowed us to focus more time on the things we talked about on Zoom, not the documentation part of it. Pros I love the note taking, and meeting summaries and that it can draft emails in seconds. It can also generate document templates; you can also integrate it across chat making it easy when working on various large projects with people from across the country. Cons A.I. is a part of almost of every business and everyone's lives and the only way to get it with ZoomWorkplace is by paying for the Advance. For a larger company that is fine but at 21.99/ pr. user that is a pretty hefty amount.
