Pros Zoom has been the dominating leader in this space for years and what I love the most is the ease of use. I'm no techie so having an app that's easy to use is essential. Cons The video quality compresses more than other platforms and I have now found that I have some tech issues with group meetings. The support team has been unable to ascertain why. December 22, 2025 5.0 Love the intuitive interface, ability to assign different hosts, plug ins to third parties, and easily invite people to meetings with a meeting invite. Pros The ease of connecting video meetings to a variety of different platforms. Connecting the plugin for Google Calendar makes it so that I can schedule Zoom meetings using my primary email service and sharing a meeting link is easy and quick if I forget to attach a meeting invite because it is available right inside the meeting at the push of a button. Cons I don't like that if you cancel a meeting through a third party service such as Google Calendar, sometimes it does not remove it from your zoom app and you still get reminders for it. It offers seamless high quality video conferencing. Files can be easily managed in the application. Pros Zoom workplace is the great platform for conducting online meetings, online classes, etc. Online conferencing through zoom are lag free with high quality. It is very easy to use. Their customer support is also quite good. We can conduct team meeting at a specific scheduled time. Cons Sometimes in big online meetings, participants face some connecting issues. Like I said above, I don't know what we would have done without it. It became a daily staple for us. I think the program has definitely gotten better. We did have a few snags when we first started using it, but with practice it becomes easier to navigate. Pros I don't know how we could have survived Covid times without Zoom! When our office went fully remote, every meeting was held via Zoom. It was great using video call because we were also able to record our meetings. The pricing for all our users was not bad either. Cons For some clients, we did have issues with the clients being able to use it. Some found it difficult to navigate. You will get that with every program, but throughout the years it has seemed to get better. Customer support wasn't all that great. Also my clients find the ease of use has been brilliant. It was also a great value for money for both myself and my clients. But Zoom Workplace? Read my review... Cons The new update which is Zoom Workplace really threw me. It lost a lot of the great features that I loved about the original Zoom and took away features like improving appearance, lighting and the look and feel is very different. I especially like how you can view past recordings and download them. Pros It's intuitive to use - easy to find where your meeting recordings are, upcoming meetings etc. I like how you can export data of unique vs non unique attendees to see who actually joined the call and when. Cons I feel like the initial home page isn't that helpful. I find myself immediately going into meetings each time, and there's not usually much on the home page that's immediately valuable or the reason I would be logging into zoom.
