The experience of using Tidio is very good and user friendly, due to which visitors coming to the website can easily connect and fast and with this you can also answer their questions. If you are busy or cannot attend live chatbots, Tidio Chatbots work for you by sending automated replies, such as showing you product suggestions, displaying lead generation forms, and answering FAQs. You can also customize these autoflows to suit your business needs, such as sending messages, updating orders, or setting appointment reminders. Tidio also provides multi-channel support, like email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, you can receive and reply at the same place, on this platform you can also see analytics report like how many visitors have come to your platform, by stopping at which places, you can see from which country the visitors are, what have they come to see. The best thing I found about TIDIO is that it is an advanced level platform which helps small to big businesses.

Overall, Tidio is a great addition for education-based applications. From a developer and tester perspective, it is stable, scalable, and easy to integrate. I highly recommend it for mid-level companies working in the EdTech or education management domain.

Pros

As a Software Engineer working on an Education System project, I found Tidio extremely useful for improving student, parent, and teacher communication. The live chat helps users instantly ask queries about admissions, fees, results, timetables, and login issues. The AI chatbots easily handle common education-related FAQs, reducing manual support load. Its API and webhook integration allow us to trigger events from our portal, send automated messages, and track user behavior. Setting it up with LMS platforms like Moodle or Google Classroom was smooth, and the documentation was very developer-friendly.

Cons

During integration and testing, I didn’t face any major issues. Chatbot flows worked smoothly, API responses were consistent, and the system handled high traffic during admission season perfectly. So far, I haven’t found any significant cons.

Su integración al whatsapp debería considerar usar al bot como un dispositivo adicional, similar a a usar la misma cuenta en otro móvil vinculándolo con un QR y no usar a tidio como plataforma principal del whatsapp. Actualmente los usuarios que ya tienen una cuenta en whatsapp se ven forazados a eliminiar su cuenta y volver a crear una nueva ya sea con su mismo número o uno nuevo desde la platorma tidio, eso implica que se pierda todo el historial de los clientes antes de la integración, una vez hecha la integración a tidio tampoco permite enviar mensajes de difusión como se hace en la app de whatsapp o hacer campañas orgánicas, dado que las políticas de META la limitan por ser un app de terceros.

Very positive. The Tidio support is exceptional, and every interaction with their team has been flawless.

Pros

We use a top-level subscription yearly plan, giving us access to all features. The core chat feature is especially easy to use, and the canned responses make replying to user messages very efficient. I also like the private canned responses, which allow to to save and use pre-defined responses that are only visible to you.

Cons

The Lyro data source tool isn't that dynamic when scanning a whole website, and it would be very beneficial to be able to have a settings option to use or restrict website content suggestions when further information is required. So you can choose to show a full explanation in the Lyro chat, or allow users to click a link to the matching web page.

OK. Not great. The development seems to be focused in the wrong areas and over-complicating a product that should be dead simple to use.

Pros

We use the free version and it works well for what we need it for. The social media integrations are useful

Cons

Tidio took away the template replies leaving us to manually type in responses or cut and paste. Their "Lyro" AI is a terrible substitute and hopeless at actually helping people. The interface is also not well laid out, and despite using it for years, there are things we still can't correct because we can't locate them in the menus.

I have been using this for the last 3 years on my website, it's easy to use, and I have not faced any challenges with this. It's a very great experience with this.

Pros

Tidio communicates like a human, provides proper answers to our questions, uses emojis in response to communicate with users for a real feel, and provides links to summarize the communication and provide full information using the knowledge base.

Cons

Sometimes I don't receive notifications on my Apple device when new customers and users arrive on our website. I think this can be fixed in future updates.

Our experience with Tidio has been fantastic. It’s incredibly intuitive, easy to implement, and the impact was immediate. It’s helped our support team scale without sacrificing quality, and customers get what they need quicker than ever. Tidio has become an essential part of our support strategy—we genuinely love it.

Pros

I am a huge fan of Tidio, specifically Lyro AI chatbot. The implementation is so easy, I was basically setup in a single day and now spend my time simply updating questions my bot cannot answer. The tool tells me exactly what is missing when questions are asked and our customers and internal teams LOVE this.

Cons

Overall I am extremely happy, but it is tedious to update Zendesk articles. They do not currently sync, so if I make changes I have to delete and re-upload. Since we are a startup and growing rapidly, I am update HC articles daily so this slows me down.

Initially, it was great, but it has become more of a liability. I understand this could be avoided by learning the system a little better or under constant and consistent monitoring to change settings, but this was really the reason I started using it. I wanted something I could put in place to free myself up from having to constantly put my attention to.

Pros

I appreciate the thought of having an AI agent available to respond to potential clients looking on the website.

Cons

Customers and potential customers have told me in person that the immediate "AI response" to an inquiry or email is bothersome and redundant, eventually causing them to refrain from emailing or visiting one of my social media platforms because they do not want to be "spammed"

Great product always happy. Tried using multiple different options before now being with tidio for over 2 years.

Cons

The fact that if you have high traffic website you need to go on a custom plan. Most of our traffic is non converting traffic and we dont want to go a custom plan so it is a little annoying but overall still happy.

It's my favorite Shopify add-on that I use. I have another add-on installed that also offers chat support as a (secondary) feature, but I prefer to use Tidio.

Pros

Lots of thought went into making this software. It has the right features, and they're built well. The new AI agent features are saving our office manage about 50% of the customer service chats work. The chat features are really well built.

Cons

Honestly, nothing to dislike. The Tidio team has done an excellent job. If I had to complain, I'd say that I've had one small issue with integrating email that the customer service team has struggled to resolve.

Support is Amazing, Integrates Seamlessly into CMS and other Websites. Mobile App also allows for quick and efficient access to client chat. Overall have been utilizing Tidio since 2011 for various supportive projects such as EmergencyHousing.CA and I wouldn't change since the chat is packed with essential features and backed by Professional Support.

Cons

I don't have any negatives to report at this time, Tidio offers Support and quickly and professionally resolves issues as they are reported. Most issues I've reported have actually been caused by my lack of research rather than a feature or request not being available, nonetheless I recieve expert advice and links to the appropriate documentation.

Once you get used to tidio, Then tidio becomes a trustworthy partner for customer engagement. The peace of the mind it provides in security is worth the efforts we put in it.

Pros

One of the best thing I like about the tidio most is its security. With encrypted communication, I feel comfortable handling my confidential customer data. The platform feel is reliable.

Cons

The downside is that some of the complex and advance features can feel overwhelming at first. But the automation options are so powerful. But they do require a bit learning curve to understand.
