Cons

Sometimes there are glitches where it says I need to log in. But it is resolved quickly

I have been able to save lots of paper and ink by using the check-in codes. I also have saved a lot of time with the CACFP program reports. My overall experience is positive although there are other programs out here that have more features teachers need to run their programs.

Pros

The ability to allow parents to check in and out with a code.

Cons

Messaging does not allow you to see if it has been viewed, can not message staff or classrooms.

This is great for me as a parent to feel connected while my son is at daycare in a very organized charted way.

Pros

This is used by my sons daycare center and what we love about it is how he is charted individually each day so we can keep track of everything going on easily.

Cons

The picture quality from the app itself could be a little better. More features need to be added so pictures can be zoomed.

Same as I listed above. I'm able to send invoices to parents and actually be paid on time. I also can see when each child has been sign in and out. Which allows me to be able to invoice parents for late pick ups. I love seeing my income to date.

Pros

I like that it allows me to track my income, in and out of children, and I'm able to bill my parents.

Cons

There are so many changes all the time that it is hard to stay on top of it.

The benefits I’ve had is helping parents understand the software and seeing them happy about being able to see how their child’s day is going. Brightwheel helps us input information.

Pros

It allows teachers to notify parents about their child’s day, their progress in education, and send photos! I’ve had a great experience with brightwheel

Cons

I don’t have a con about brightwheel I think they’re doing an amazing job.

We've tried nearly every app or software available for daycare centers, and all of them fall short in some way. Brightwheel is a breath of fresh air. Finally a modern app that is fast, easy, and actually enjoyable to use. My teachers love it - and learned how to use it so quickly. And my parents love it even more - I've gotten several new families who joined us just by hearing about Brightwheel. The biggest thing is that Brightwheel is all in one. It has the best daily sign in we've seen, but then it also takes care of all our logs, our parent messaging, and does billing too. The photos are so easy to tag - feels like a fun photo app, and so much faster than anything else we've seen. Lastly, their support is incredible. I had one question, and they responded right away and then even offered additional help. I recommend Brightwheel to all daycares that I come across. I always say, "just try it, and you'll see!" Pros: -Best set of features -Fast and simple -Only thing I've seen that both teachers and parents love -Beautiful design (not clunky) Cons: -More reports: The check-in reports are great. I've asked for more reports (ex: incidents).

Fantastic on all fronts!

Pros

The ability that this program has to connect parents with their children while they are at daycare is amazing! Everyone knows it’s hard to leave your kids, but brightwheel allows you to see them during the day, and stay connected!

Cons

Sometimes the interface can take time to load so information accidentally gets loaded twice by two different people.

The overall experience is good because it fits into the day to day work flow well. I question rather communicating through a free social media channel would be just as good.

Pros

Brightwheel gives parents a lot of peace of mind especially during the pandemic when protocol only allows limited entry into the building. Being able to keep them up to date with what their children are up to is a big win, especially since you can safely share pictures too. Nice app!

Cons

The cost can be somewhat restrictive. As prices rise it has resulted in the need to increase the cost of services to cover subscriptions.

Honestly, I think it's a great product. I know what snacks my son has eaten and am able to keep up with his nap time schedule. I can hide or allow the alerts and I can even see the pictures his teachers take of him.

Pros

I love how this app will update me every time my son eats or takes his nap. It is very convenient for first-time parents.

Cons

The only thing I wish it had was a check-in button but our daycare has it at the front desk so it's not too bad.
