Pros: It is user-friendly, both for visitors and staff. People have reacted positively to the change in our Reception area due to this process.

Cons: Sometimes the system/ipad freezes and has to be reset.

Overall: Although our BM had seen this software in action at a conference, I had not, therefore came into the trial as a 'cold' prospective user. The first thing I would say is that I would have preferred some personal contact. Although I have set up the system, I can see from the videos online that it can do so much more. To have someone visit our site and chat about our wants and needs, would be fantastic. The questions I have asked have been answered via the chat facility relatively quickly and have been helpful. On the initial set up when I couldn't load the graphics, the assistance from Sine was much appreciated. Now that we have had it up and running for a period of time, a personal visit to our work site would assist to see how we can set things up better or to a greater efficiency level with compliancy issues being of utmost importance in work areas. The signing in process may be improved by synchronising sign-ups whether by the app, PC or ipad, rather than just by the point of sign-in. With the number of visitors now using this signing in management program, our Reception area has become streamlined with its point of entry to the school. There is now a more professional look in this area. The dashboard facility assists with statistics and queries as to who is on our premises at any one time. Having the ipad available, a portable device, will no doubt be of great assistance during an evacuation should there be one, instead of taking out hard copies of visitors books. It would be good to have a greater number of visitor types available (5 is not enough in a school).

Recommendations to other buyers: Would like the system to be synchronised so that information is the same if people have signed in via PC, ipad or app, rather than whatever system is used to sign in has to be used for signing out. Sometimes when the system has frozen on the ipad, visitors have needed to be signed on through the PC, and when the ipad is up and running again it would help greatly if they could then sign out on this device. We are trying for the system to be used solely through the ipad.

Pros: Looks professional
Report can be run on who is signed in
Global access to the dashboard

Cons: Takes too long to sign in and out
No one ever remembers to sign out

Overall: Many problems were encountered when setting up the accounts, to begin with, but this was all solved with assistance from the customer support.
I would highly recommend here that extra time is spent understanding the client's requirements, and working with the client to make the system workable.
After weeks of frustration and wanting to scrap it and get a refund, 1 call from customer support was able to get it running how we needed, and has made me a supporter Sine!
Since the end result is a partnership, I would have preferred not to go through the run around first...

Overall the software is solid, and a great base on which to build.
My only feature requests would be:
1. The ability to have 1 site and the sign in steps differ based on visitor type. For example, we do not want a badge printing every time we have an 'Internal Courier' arriving in the office. They come 6 times a day, and it is a waste.
We also want the 'staff' to have easy steps.
At the moment we are running 2 sites, but this is not ideal.
2. Ability for staff to sign in via the iPad. We have 2 staff that do not have smartphones. This means they have been logging into the online portal, but this is not ideal. We want them to be able to sign in via the ipad, and the photo to be kept on file.
3. Auto Sign in and out. When people leave the office we want the app to auto sign them out, and when staff arrives (Who have the app on their phone), we want the app to auto sign them in.

With these additions, the system would be exactly what is needed in our industry and would be a great tool that you could sell to all other companies in our field.
We all have minimum government requirements for security, and with these enhancements, your system would meet them all, and be easy enough to use that it would be able to be marketed to our sector.

In conclusion, the system has a good foundation, and I look forward to enhancements in the future!

Pros: The backgrounds are customizable to suit company branding (including multiple branding options on rotation if required). The customer service staff have been so friendly and efficient on the very odd occasion that I have dealt with them. Group messages can be sent to guests on site which is perfect for emergency messaging. The look of the app is very professional and our guests regularly compliment us on how it looks and ease of use.

Cons: There is nothing I dislike about the software. I would be great however on the home screen to have an upfront selection for couriers/delivery people as I find they are often perturbed by having to input their details and end up either walking away without delivering the goods or they tailgate someone into the office.

Overall: We have been using Sine for around 18months now and have never looked back. Guests regularly comment on the platform and it's ease of use versus others they have experienced. The back end admin functionality is excellent and very user friendly.

Recommendations to other buyers: I investigated many other software providers and choosing Sine has proven itself to be the best decision I could have made out of all of the options trialled.

Pros: Its ok, but don't know why we still also have to fill in paper based registers as well. Doubling up of workload. Needs area for card numbers to be placed by visitors, so we can reconcile card audit at end of day.

Cons: Some people have put details in and when go to use it again details not there, so they have to restart again whole process. Seems to happen at times after a software update.

Overall: Some people visiting say question in contractors field a bit complex - also floor level only allows level 1 entry details. Stylus pen does not work on panel well.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have a bigger pad, placed in vertical position, maybe voice controlled questions if possible.

Overall: Sine has enabled us as a business to have greater visibility on our workforce. We have hundreds of contractors and property agents, providing services to 200+ large industrial and commercial properties across Australia. Prior to Sine, all of these contractors would need to complete paper forms - imagine collating the information on these paper forms and the inefficiencies caused.

Sine eliminates all of this by digitizing the forms and at the same time, the powerful notification system of Sine Pro gives our facility managers real-time visibility on contractors/agents working on-site. In the event of an emergency, our facility managers can rely on Sine's messaging system to ensure alerts can be broadcasted to all contractors on-site, to ensure all personnels are notified and accounted for.

Whilst the system is already great, the team at Sine is even better. The adoption of Sine is literally trouble-free thanks to a great support from the Sine team.

Implementing Sine was one of the best decision that our company made.

Pros: It works well WHEN it's working. Data syncs instantly to the dashboard from the iPad. Easy for end users and receptionists.

Cons: We received a trial kit for testing and it didn't work. Spoke to 3-4 people to try to get it working and wasted the whole day trying to setup everything from scratch. Ended up send it back for a second kit then had issues setting up the printer. Don't expect any training from them as they just tell you to go to the site (this is a terrible first impression). As the admin, it has limited search filters and customization on the dashboard. Troubleshooting the printer would be very difficult for non-technical users as their support team assume you can do these tasks. This is a concern for us as we plan to roll this out to multiple sites and I don't have time to troubleshoot since Sine do not have any onsite support.

Pros: Push Notifications. Remote Site / Virtual Receptionist. A record of visitors for auditing / analytics. Ability to .csv upload a list of members "hosts".

Overall: The entrance to our coworking studio is downstairs, so I setup Sine to serve as a virtual receptionist. Now we don¿t have a members ¿Mexican stand-off' over who's going to answer the door every time the doorbell rings. Instead, members get a push notification from the Sine app advising if a visitor has arrived for them. As the Studio Manager, getting a push notification when a visitor arrives means I can immediately call them to make arrangements if I¿m often offsite. Having Sine has improved the community, improved communication and improved how I managed my customers, visitors and contractors. Sine is now on the list of benefits of working from That Space Coworking.

Pros: I like how it can send an email to the staff the visitors are seeing. I also like how it quickly prints off the visitor label.

Cons: When signing in guests manually we can not print off a visitor label.

Overall: Sine has been a great success at reception. Being a large company the staff love getting the email that their guests have arrived. It is also great as the receptionists to keep track of who has arrived, where they are from and who they are seeing. Sine is easy to use and very efficient. We have had very little issues using sine.

Recommendations to other buyers: To be able to print off a visitor label and make the search icon bigger when searching to find which staff member you are looking for. Nine out of ten visitors ask what department the staff member is in when they can easily just type in their name.

Comments: Product is good but the support is not.
Initially very happy with product but its performance has not been consistent.
Also
1)Trying to set up remote visitor sign in, won't print sticker on arrival.
Visitors have to sign out and back in to get it to print.
2)Rep has not visited site since installation, sounds annoyed when contacted for support.
3)We have had to do our own "Work Arounds" to fix problems took 3 months for replacement router to arrive after multiple emails and phone calls.

Pros: Ease of use for people visiting the office.
Text messages being sent to hosts when visitors sign in.

Cons: Uploading of host details can be slow and cumbersome, removal of mobile phone numbers when an updated list is uploaded.
No courier sign in for parcels being dropped off.

Overall: This system works well for what we require in our office space, but functionality of uploading host details could be improved as well as courier options on the system.
Overall the system is easy for visitors/staff/contractors to use, but for the administrators it can take a while to work the system to what we required.

Pros: Easy to use
Intuitive set up
Support team happy to work with me through several different possible options to allow a family of siblings is entered each Saturday as quickly as possible.
Support team fast acting through text, providing helpful links I could follow.
Support team called to go through what became a more complex situation after first few solutions didn't work, and were able to talk to me without tech jargon.
Love geo fence so families can't say they have attended when they haven't.
Gave us space to work out how we could use the software without pressuring us about the invoice and interrupting our service while we did some trial and error.
Parents love it.
Fast track codes are great.
QR codes are great, parents thought were really high tech savvy when we trialed those.

Cons: I know the software is not designed to sign in multiple children who might be enrolled with one parent with one email and one mobile phone number. I get normally this would be used for an adult signing in to a location. On this basis it is great.

For our purpose, not being able to log in once and for a parent to answer questions pertaining to each of their children is an issue. One potential option was for the number of visitor types to increase, so a family could log in to their own type where their check in form is customised for their children.

Pros: Visitors are identifiable with the sticker, visitors find it easy to use, hosts can work efficiently with the visitor management system. There is a record of visitors for emergency evacuation purposes.

Creating invitiations is an effective, user friendly, and efficient to use, when I am given a list from a host to generate QR codes for the visitor, which saves time for them.

Cons: When it comes to the' consent to provide further information' section, if a visitor reads it thoroughly then it resets to the home page after some time (approx. 1 minute) the visitor has to start again and input their details. Can there be a longer time delay, so the visitor can read the information without having to input visitor details again? At least 3 mins should be enough, to account for slower readers.

Overall: Verifying visitors onsite for security and evacuation purposes and also to aid in facilitating the ease of engagement between hosts and visitors.

Pros: 1. Email notifications to host
2. Admin site allowing me to review checked in visitors and also check out visitors.

Cons: 1. Inability to remove email field from sign in screen and email wording from the field on the returning visitors sign in screen. This causes visitors confusion whether to enter an email or mobile number when returning. Also having the email option on the first time visitor screen results in a longer sign in process. We have the email as optional for visitors but would prefer the option to remove the field entirely.
2. The fact that I cannot amend a contact number on the back end of the system for a previously signed in visitor. Some visitors have entered an incorrect number on their first visit causing them to have to click first time visitor and do the entire process again.

Pros: The software was easily customized for facility needs. It allows seamless sign-in/sign-out of contractors and visitors. We've also adopted questions upon sign-out that allows us to reinforce safety protocols. Most employees and vendors have opted to use the app-based sign-in.

Cons: It could be less about the software and more about the iPad; however, at least weekly, the software must be rebooted on our lobby iPad. Currently investigating a fix.

Pros: Like the dashboard how simple it is for users to use, has heaps of extra features, mobile app checkins. Easy for all types of users to use

Cons: no mobile admin interface, in an emergency we need to have a big bulky device or laptop to login to the dashboard to identify contractors on site.
ID card printers can be problematic when on wifi and sometimes not print.

Overall: Easy management of visitors to our site.

Cons: It requires you to enter in too much info. Questioning the client who their here to see or who their closer is, is not necessary . They will pick the person they have been corresponding with which would be me. They are not here to see me so the info they enter is inaccurate and useless and a waste of time. Taking a picture to me is not important. Most people dont like their pics taken. They complain how awful they look. lol.. And an email address is not important either. I think as long as it is time stamped and dated with a name would be sufficient. Just my thought :)

Comments: We trialled SINE during a quiet period which I highly recommend as with any new system, it takes time for staff and visitors to get used to it and therefore the sign in process was taking longer. You need to be able to guage if someone has a reading issue and talk them through each step though. Now that all our regular contractors and visitors are in the system and familiar with it, it is a faster process for them plus it allows the reception staff to carry on with other duties as they no longer need to attend to them. Managers and Security staff who all sit in different sections/buildings enjoy the fact that they can look up on their own computer and see who is on site or expected to arrive. The two main features of the system and why we were after an electronic sign in/out process is that: Visitors/contractors sign an acknowledgement of our 'terms of entry' which covers our WHS obligations. The system can also notify all staff and visitors of any emergency using the SINE system where they will receive an email and or text message as some of our older buildings do not have a PA system or EWIS.
Customer service has been outstanding and I have always been able to speak to someone straight away.

Pros: sign in system works well in terms of being able to register and go through health and safety briefing requirements

Cons: My understanding is that the label printer has never worked since the system was purchased and installed.
I have taken over as operations manager, but would have expected that if a new system was purchased that that their would have been some form of follow up to ensure the system had been installed correctly and was fully operational. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify this but in reality it would be easier to go back to a manual system rather than have a sign in system that is only partly operational

Pros: Frees up the receptionist time with not having to announce visitors. Reception does not need to be manned when visitors enter.

Pros: Simple to use once installed. If your requirements are very simple and you don't have an IT department, this system can be a good solution.

Cons: It allows for no customization. From the perspective of a large organization with multiple offices, having a customization program is important. The standard design for your badge is very poor. Having to put up with a head icon because we choose not to take a picture of the visitor is unacceptable. The client should either be able to design his own badge or you should have support to modify the design to meet the needs of the client.

Overall: I learned to ask more specific questions up front and not to believe that there was really a team of techs to help support the product.

Pros: Customer support is top notch! Every question and concern throughout our deployment has been answered quickly and accurately.

Cons: There isn't really anything not to like about this software. Some improvements on kiosks, when your guest checks in it would be nice for the notification of which kiosk they checked in at. On our campus we have 6 kiosks, guests sometimes check in at the wrong building. It would be nice to have a location which kiosk was used.

Pros: It sends an email to the person/s who need to receive it so we don't keep people waiting as often; and it means our receptionists can spend more time assisting those who come in and less time greeting people.

Cons: I've been noticing a lag time (not always) in the time it takes the email to reach my inbox; or the fact that if I'm not looking at my computer at the time, then I don't know anyone is waiting.

Overall: Not bad. Isn't as fast as I'd like it to be in reaching my emails, consistently, in a timely manner. Working with internal IT team to see if the glitch is at our internal end.

Pros: Set-up of the system was easy.
Online dashboard to monitor visitors and no need for reception to spend time informing staff that their guest has arrived.
Both staff and guests have been impressed by the look of the sign-in system.

Cons: The AD integration process was tricky and took a lot longer then expected.
We have experienced individuals profile settings have been reset around the time we were completing the AD integration e.g. delegates being deleted. The support staff have been frustrated that they have to go through the individuals account to reset the themselves as the delegate.
The other comment I have received from staff when we were testing the product was can visitor notifications be sent to all staff that are attending the meeting. At the moment they get around this by either emailing or calling the other attendees.

Pros: It allows our visitors to read and acknowledge digitally. The software is great for offices without a receptionist since I get an email to notify me when a visitor arrives. Provides a digital log of all visitors that meet our ISO standards.

Cons: Requires too much information when visitors sign in. checkout options need to be expanded. For example, our employees are required to check out their guests. But the only way to check out a guest is to either know the phone number they used or their email address. There should be a list of visitors in the building and I should be able to check people out like that.

Overall: Digital log and acknowledgment and notification of when visitors arrive.

Pros: The system is extremely easy to set-up and use. Customers and clients have also commented how easy it is and the ability to sign in prior to arriving in the office is a great feature.

Cons: We have received a few minor complaints regarding logging out. Can a three letter recognition be implemented similar to the host field? Also, when signing in before arrival in the office, is it possible to have a badge printed prior to their arrival in the office?

Overall: We have now changed our reception from being a staffed reception desk to an unstaffed reception desk whilst still retaining a positive corporate image.

Pros: Not having to notify the person they have come to see.
For returning visitors it is less time consuming for reception staff.

Cons: If a resident needs to sign in and they don't have a mobile or email address then you have to enter false details in order for the system to allow them to sign in.
Time consuming for new users so having to walk them through the process. No-one seems to know to scroll down to sign it.
Having to choose a person they are here to see even if they are not seeing anyone.

Comments: A great system - love the app. It would be good if there was a management app which could be installed on an office phone at all times and showed who is signed in during an emergency. I know the dashboard offers this - but an app would make it easier.

Comments: I recently discovered a bug which the dev team was not aware of. Of course I did not know it's a bug when I asked for support. The support team was really fast, they implemented a temp workaround, I still don't know if the bug is crushed but the overall experience was of top level!

Pros: The app provides excellent customization and functionality with branding and workflows. It is fully capable of replacing our current written sign-in process.

Cons: Unable to send automated responses to externals emails after a user completes certain workflows. (an external email is sent to our IT team after a visitor selects "No" on a Yes/No question).
Unable to rename or remove certain boxes in the template. For example, renaming the "Next Visitor" button to "Finished".

Overall: Progressed our company beyond the current written sign-in process. Saved the company money and provided a more efficient process which is easily combined with our data systems.

Pros: We are now able to record who is on campus at all times, which is important under Student Protection Guidelines. Can print emergency lists and conduct audits as per requirements to monitor who has been on campus. Those that are being visited are notified by email the person has signed in - just in case the Receptionist is busy and cant call them straight away.

Cons: Would be great to have more formatting options - mainly for aesthetic purposes. This is so the WHS instructions are clearly laid out for contractors signing in.

Overall: The ability to audit who is coming on campus and how often. This means we can capture people who might not have completed the correct inductions or provided correct paperwork in regards to Contractors.

Cons: Some features could be more robust. For example, the ability to notify more than one person on arrive when you may have a meeting with multiple hosts.

Overall: We just officially signed up for Sine. Very nice software for our un-staffed lobby. Visitors are able to "SINE IN" and the appropriate staff are notified and can come to greet them in a timely fashion. We haven't had time to work with the calendar integration features yet or the geo-fencing, but the Sine staff has been great with their customer service.

Recommendations to other buyers: keep improving the software and being responsive to your clients and it will only get better. but good work!

Cons: I have not had the ability to understand how the reporting works for reviewing historical data, so I do not know how I will like it.

Overall: satisfied our ISO 9001 requirement for informing our visitors of our environmental and quality policies; allows us to capture their agreement to follow our policy as well as providing us a record of our visitors over time. the bonus is that we have an email sent to the person that is expecting the visitor and this makes the process go from good to great

Pros: Simplicity, it does the job and it¿s easy to navigate and find what you looking for.

Cons: Few times we have look to disable the mandatory mobile field to register large groups however the site does not save the changes.

Overall: Overall our experience has been fantastic, there were some minor lag issues with SINE however the upgrade to SINEPRO has fixed that.

Recommendations to other buyers: To be able to mass import guests without mobile / email requirements that are independent from the ad hoc iPad guest sign in. 2 ) EA capabilities, EAs to be notified when visitors arrive for GM.

Pros: Automatically uploading information through the API easily ensures that staff information is kept up-to-date and synchronised with other data sources (such as an LDAP Directory). The simple interface is also easy for visitors of all backgrounds to use.

Cons: It's quite limited or restricted in terms of customisation making it difficult to use as a replacement for a human receptionist. For example, adding buttons to the idle screen for walk-in visitors such as job seekers, or customising email notifications to CC a team as well as send to the host simply aren't possible.

Overall: Digitisation and better security over a traditional paper sign-in book

Pros: Sine is easy to use, for both the staff and visitors. It has options around manual check in, logging in at the SINE system and using your phone via the app. It is great when staff are busy, that visitors can just log in

Cons: When you manually sign people in - they are not remembered in the system. It would be helpful if you manually enter them in that they are also remembered, We have had some instances of low battery, of the system not charging and this caused issues.

Overall: With the manual system people did not want to use it - or did not complete the answers or put the information in the wrong spaces which meant you really didnt know who was in your building - with SINe - they have to complete to enter and you have clear concise information

Thanks Carolyn for the feedback. As long as you have the iPad plugged in, it wont drain your battery faster than it charges, so we recommend leaving it plugged in and charging. If there's anything we can do to perhaps make your check-in forms simpler, we'll gladly recommend it. The beauty of Sine is it's an easy and intuitive touchscreen interface that your guests should be able to navigate through. Let us know specifically where they're getting stuck and we'll make some recommendations :)

Comments: The Sine software is a great visitor management system. It has a lot of features that can make front of house operations run efficiently. It is a great tool to track and manage what is happening at the front desk and there are many reports that can be done to provide important insights into operations. I get a lot of positive commentary from visitors when they are signing in and they say that it is one of the better systems that they have ever used. I find that the customer service has exceeded all of my expectations. Antony, Michael and Fiona work tirelessly to troubleshoot with me in the rare event I have an issue. Being able to use Sine has made my job significantly easier and I am able to provide more efficient service to my guests. I don't know how I survived without Sine but now that I have it, I could never be without it. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a unique, amazing and practical front desk operation.

Pros: Sine is very configurable to business needs with ongoing updates to functionality. Updates to the kiosk are very simple and automatically update when saved which is a great feature. Ongoing support and live chat has been prompt and a wonderful experience overall. The Sine team have shown great interest in solving any minor bump in the road.

Cons: Some features are not yet available which causes some confusion amongst hosts. This is mainly on the iPhone app notifications only being issued when the app is open in the background.

Cons: There is no scan option for check out, on the machine and on the ticket which prints out - Not sure if this is an extra feature.
Having two Ipad's (Sine systems) connected wirelessly to the one printer - If both machines are being checked in at the same time, only one of the badges will print out. Not sure whether this is a connectivity issue or something that Sine can rectify.

Pros: The guys at Sine allowed me to use a fully functional free trial and then when I was ready to purchase they moved all my work onto a clean live site. The live support is great...I'm in the management portal and if I have a question, I can see who's online ready to immediately help me.
The Sine product has been a very economical solution to our visitor management problems providing dynamic logic to a range of complex scenarios. The reception staff love it!

Cons: Some of the clever features dont apply across the board; such as permanently nominating a default host based on the visitor type.

Overall: Already recommended to Catholic Education Tasmania

Pros: Pros to this software are that it is easy to use and has some great features to track visitors pre-organise visitor passes. The broadcast feature can be very useful, and if you are using visitor passes you can message the guest to advise that they have not returned their card.

Cons: It seems after a if you don't operate the software after a while it "times out" and you have to refresh the page before doing anything else. (this being if you are using it from a web page)

Pros: That it takes a picture and then prints it off as a sticker, that it remembers your details and doesn't need to take a second photo when you are returning to a site

Cons: the amount of details you have to enter the first time you visit a sight. And that there is no group check in option

Comments: Hi, This is my first experience with Sine. I am a Building Operations Manager at a commercial property and this is what I have found so far (after 6 weeks):
*The contractors have taken to the system OK
*Currently you can move from screen to screen without finishing all the options, it would be good to have them answer all questions before moving to the next screen
*I don't get an email that they have signed out
*I don't get an email for a failed sign in
I haven't tried the app yet and haven't needed the support yet

Pros: It tells me when people have arrived on site. The stickers are a good idea.

Cons: I still don't know what I need to do when and if the printer will next go off line.
Someone came out a week ago to fix the printer issue and I don't know what the outcome was.

Pros: Really easy to use for our visiting guests - sign in process allowing instant messaging directly to our staff to ensure they are aware of their guest waiting for them (text and email both really well received by staff).
The ability to communicate emergency information to all check-in guests at any given time

Pros:
This software characterized by its ease and by its automatic agility as it has specific characteristics for example to notify instantly when a visitor arrives, facilitates through its systematic process precise and detailed information of the visitors that are solvent with the standards.

Cons:
I think that there should be an improvement to provide the appropriate tools that allow to personalize and create an own and / or legitimate badge thus solving one of the basic needs of the client.

Pros: Visually friendly and easy to use aside from the scanning QR codes this does not work on ours. The overall system view is helpful but would be great to setup sites individually once running well so that they make take ownership of their account and reduce notifications to master user.

Cons: customer support is via all links - would prefer on phone support not constant links being sent, along with FAQ's printable help guides for each side to minimize issues

Overall: Hoping to ensure a more efficient and innovative sign in process. A system that complies with any safety issue we may have e.g. fire within that area and still being able to access evacuation list.

Pros: Sine is very efficient. With notifications going to the recipient, a duplicate to myself as well as our mobile phones, there is less chance of a visitor being left unattended in the lobby. Recipients are notified directly therefore others do not have their work disrupted to answer a doorbell.

Cons: Sometimes Sine does not notify me by my cell.

When checking out almost all visitors not familiar with virtual reception will try to scan the QR code on the screen projecting their image instead of the camera

Overall: I am the former receptionist. Sine allows me to concentrate on my new job instead of greeting everyone that knocks at the door.

The product is easy to use, and has made my day to work life easier by far.

Comments: The system makes it nice and easy to know who's attending the building, even if I'm not onsite. I would like to see the system inform me if a contractor was away from the building by a given distance, as this will ensure accuracy of the time any person is physically at the building. It would also be good, if a contractor was to forget to sign out, that again they would receive a text informing them that they need to return and sign out, again at a set distance away from the building. Overall, I will be pushing to have this installed in my other buildings.

Regarding sign out functionality; we can set an elapsed time or auto expiry of visitor passes if you require. Also if your guests sign in using location services on the smartphone app and then drive outside your site's geofence radius, they will be alerted to sign out using the smartphone too. Pros: Customer support representative has been great to deal with help to fix a few printing issues and do a system upgrade that was required. Receiving emails when there are printing issues is a great addition to the updates that happened recently

Cons: don't really have any issues with Sine Pro, the only negative I can think of is that sometimes guests are cancelling the printing after the host name has been entered, therefore not printing a sticker

Pros: I helps the visitor to contact the person immediately via e-mail without contacting them over the phone.

Cons: Some of the features are not available like to skip the person whom they want to see and automatically send them the e-mail. For example, if the visitor is for job application, it will automatically send an e-mail to HR.

Overall: Avoid issuing ID pass and ask them to log their names and company info.

Pros: The ability to customize the software. The integration capabilities. The ease of use from a visitor standpoint.

Cons: Data is stored in Amazon Cloud in Australia. This could be a tipping point for customers in Europe or with strict data storage regulations.

Overall: I tested all of the major and minor applications that fit our requirements. Sine Pro was able to meet our requirements and at a cost that could not be beat. If you are in the market for a visitor management system you owe it to yourself to take a look at their product. It is really that good!

Comments: Before I signed up for Sine, I tried about 10 different products on the market. They were too simple, too clunky or just didn't work. When I discovered Sine, I didn't just discover a solution that was right for our business - we established a relationship with Sine.

Sine has provided us with flexible software to manage our visitors and contractors from a convenient and cost effective cloud based application. Management have the ability to view history of check in and check out history. We love that Sine can also provide all hardware and label supplies from their store.

The Sine staff are very supportive and are always releasing new features. If you aren't using Sine, I encourage you to check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Overall: Dubbo IPad has caused immense frustration to the admin staff & contractors, since installation, as it continually kicks the user back to a login page - Constant contact with Sine trying to rectify. A solution may have been found as it has worked correctly for 4 working days in a row.
Orange IPad had 1 instance of kicking the user back to the login page after 1 week of usage, but no further instances since then.

Pros: Straight forward and very easy to use. Modern and nifty. The product is fantastic when it is working.

Cons: Printing issues and connectivity with printers were a daily problem. Not so much in the last week. App does freeze 2-3 times daily and does need to be closed and relaunched.

Overall: Implementation of a VMS has been easy and great for our business. Staff are accepting of the change and embracing the system. Some have gone over and above to get the app and think of ways they can exploit the system for their own departments. We look to expand the VMS into other areas of the business. This project was a success because the system is easy to setup and install. The front end is simple and flows staff through the requirements to enter our site. I'm so glad we chose Sine for our system.

Pros: Customisable to what the site requires. The web interface is easy to use and access. Label printing and/or virtual passes are great to use as well.

Cons: One thing is it can't be displayed in portrait mode. Other issues would be labels cannot be customised.

Overall: Signing into sites are much more easier now and the form can be accessed by multiple people on or offsite to make sure information is correct.

Pros: Very easy to setup and fairly intuitive. Found it to be very easy to migrate from previous contractor system with good take up.

Cons: Reporting very limited, needs more work. The system would benefit from a wireless or Bluetooth scanner so that the QR codes on keys can be scanned via the iPad.

Overall: More uptake and visibility of contractors onsite, when they sign in and out.

Pros: Flexibility, stability and ease of use. Our users, both guests and internal hosts have been able to use the system with little training required.

Cons: Not being able to customize fonts and sizes on the guest label, or influence label design manually. We need the ability to manipulate certain aspects that are not currently available.

Cons: No auto tracking of printing for replenishment of labels. Software should know how many labels it is using and re-order automatically

Pros: The software is easy to use for guests. The customization that is available on questions is great for our center as things change and we need to make those changes. Most importantly all changes made are in real time, there is not waiting for an update.

Cons: Editing responses, I would like to be able to edit a response once it has been entered. Sometimes guests click on the incorrect answer and we need to make a change. Deleting a guest if they choose not to go through with the appointment or to start all over.

Overall: Easy tracking of activity in office.

Pros: Ease of access and especially for returning staff to just check-in using a mobile number.

Overall: I have been using this now for about 4 weeks. It was especially timely because of a new process we have commenced at our office to sign in staff attending our new Induction Program. So far there has been minimal issues and everyone is more than happy to sign into their respective training sessions which I have hosted on the program - I am very very happy.
