Pros: Customer support is top notch! Every question and concern throughout our deployment has been answered quickly and accurately.

Cons: There isn't really anything not to like about this software. Some improvements on kiosks, when your guest checks in it would be nice for the notification of which kiosk they checked in at. On our campus we have 6 kiosks, guests sometimes check in at the wrong building. It would be nice to have a location which kiosk was used.

Pros: This software is easy to use . All you need is an Ipad and you are good to go. It is also maintenance free as the developer will do the background upgrading. Special thanks to rep who help to provide the demonstration and assistance for the initial set up of our Visitor Management System

Pros: It's up to date, easy to use and functional for our office. Everyone loves it and has had a play around on it. Hopefully our office in Auckland will also chose to use it.

Pros: Ease of use, interface is clear, logical and easy to follow - both the Web interface and Mobile versions.

Cons: Not really a con but the Geofencing (when visitors can see the site on their mobile phone) seems a little erratic.

Overall: Security, health and safety reporting, professional first impression to visitors.

Pros: The software was easily customized for facility needs. It allows seamless sign-in/sign-out of contractors and visitors. We've also adopted questions upon sign-out that allows us to reinforce safety protocols. Most employees and vendors have opted to use the app-based sign-in.

Cons: It could be less about the software and more about the iPad; however, at least weekly, the software must be rebooted on our lobby iPad. Currently investigating a fix.

Pros: I like that We can tailor make it to suit our needs and therefore incorporate safety procedures and other facets for sign in

Cons: The photo taking for guests, they find it awkward. There's nothing else negative that I've experienced so far

Pros: really like the checkout feature, which allow admins to check users out, also the app is really nice

Cons: the automation is a bit tricky, would have really like to have it AD integrated so don't have to manually upload the hosts, I know you can use curls but that's bit complicated.

Overall: Really good visitor management system, and security as well as analytics of visitors

Pros: Intuitive, easy to use an configure. The iPad app is straightforward and requires little input, the Dashboard is clean and easy to understand.

Cons: When making changes via the Dashboard, the iPad app needs to be closed and reopened (as i understand it) for the changes to be refreshed, which can be inconvenient.

Pros: User use simplicity, and the real time advice of persons attending site. Photo identification is also a helpful tool.

Cons: The option or likely hood of the person signing in as the wrong type of contractor/visitor seems to be a concern and an easily done option that needs to be screened.

This means you and your team can review the contractors checking in and ensure they've entered accurate and compliant details. Pros: It works well WHEN it's working. Data syncs instantly to the dashboard from the iPad. Easy for end users and receptionists.

Cons: We received a trial kit for testing and it didn't work. Spoke to 3-4 people to try to get it working and wasted the whole day trying to setup everything from scratch. Ended up send it back for a second kit then had issues setting up the printer. Don't expect any training from them as they just tell you to go to the site (this is a terrible first impression). As the admin, it has limited search filters and customization on the dashboard. Troubleshooting the printer would be very difficult for non-technical users as their support team assume you can do these tasks. This is a concern for us as we plan to roll this out to multiple sites and I don't have time to troubleshoot since Sine do not have any onsite support.

Pros: There are multiple methods to check in. The dashboard is easy to manage for front desk receptionist.

Cons: The badge is not able to be customized. It would be great if we can modify the badge to meet our needs.

Pros: Photo label ID, QR code sign-out and daily reporting are all excellent features, as is understanding who is on site through log in to software.

Overall: Streamlined log-in process and easy to get reports.

There is nothing about the software that causes us concern. Recommend it for any business with regular contractor and visitor traffic.

Pros: ability to deliver site specific induction, ability to print visitor label, ability to pre-register guests, QR code.

Cons: difficulty connecting wireless printer. Visitor notification emails go directly into junk mail folder.

Pros: Visitors are identifiable with the sticker, visitors find it easy to use, hosts can work efficiently with the visitor management system. There is a record of visitors for emergency evacuation purposes.

Creating invitiations is an effective, user friendly, and efficient to use, when I am given a list from a host to generate QR codes for the visitor, which saves time for them.

Cons: When it comes to the' consent to provide further information' section, if a visitor reads it thoroughly then it resets to the home page after some time (approx. 1 minute) the visitor has to start again and input their details. Can there be a longer time delay, so the visitor can read the information without having to input visitor details again? At least 3 mins should be enough, to account for slower readers.

Overall: Verifying visitors onsite for security and evacuation purposes and also to aid in facilitating the ease of engagement between hosts and visitors.

Pros: You can see the history of people who have signed in and people can check in quicker if they have signed in before.

Cons: doesn't always print out the labels, and doesn't always remember previous people checked in. Still unsure of how to bulk add people on for large events.

Pros: easy to use as a daily returning user, easy access to check on contractors and other team members, all information is easy to upload and the set up is great for each centre

Cons: Overall there is no downside, the system does take a bit to load the information at the start, it would be great if once you started to type you number it remembered and finished for you

Pros: Receiving notifications of all contractors is good, the ability to know who is on site and when is very beneficial

Cons: App does not appear to be very user friendly. Notification of contractors leaving often doesn't come through for some time.

Pros: Ease of use, professional look and can be customised . Captures the information you need and notifications via email/text is great.

Cons: Would like to find out how to add a video and notifications of not signing out/not completed H&S , whether you can print labels etc (but I haven't looked and if I did I'd probably find it!)

Pros: It is so easy to use and it intergrates with Outlook. It makes manageing all guest types on site so easy and hassell free.

Cons: Honostly, I cant fault this software. It is so easy to use and the support is amazing. If I had to be critical, I would say that the home screen doesn't have to have a list of who has checked-in or out. If you need to know this information then search for it.

Overall: Ease of use, outlook intergration and management of guest on site is so easy. Other options it has like reporting, evacuation list OHS info etc is what make it easy to mange guests.

Pros: Ease of use and the fact we can set and forget the software. Users have found it very easy to use.

Cons: The reliance on wireless for the printer seems to be our biggest issue. We have had to keep the screen on at all times to keep the system responsive

Overall: Easy to see who is onsite and to also have their details is a big advantage over other systems

Pros: Customisable to what the site requires. The web interface is easy to use and access. Label printing and/or virtual passes are great to use as well.

Cons: One thing is it can't be displayed in portrait mode. Other issues would be labels cannot be customised.

Overall: Signing into sites are much more easier now and the form can be accessed by multiple people on or offsite to make sure information is correct.

Cheers Stepahno for the positive feedback. Great to see things working well for you. SinePoint Pro can be used in portrait mode very easily, just adjust the positioning of the iPad and it'll automatically rotate. We do however recommend using SinePoint Pro in landscape mode.

Pros: We purchased this product over others on the market because of the ease of use to setup and administer.

Cons: Although I wanted something that didn't have so many features that it would be difficult to train people on there are a few things that would be nice to see such as integrations into chat applications in order to notify hosts.

Overall: a great automated solution to hosting visitors

Pros: This system makes it easier for me to keep track of what customers I have onsite, what time they have arrived and when they have left,

Cons: This is not so much what I like least but what i think should be available and that just as we have a employees register we should have a designated company list to select from when they attend site which confirms they are working for a registered company to our business.
For example if the company is Man Roland - some will sign in they are from MAN some will sign in they are from Man Roland and another might sign in as MRA

Pros: Like the dashboard how simple it is for users to use, has heaps of extra features, mobile app checkins. Easy for all types of users to use

Cons: no mobile admin interface, in an emergency we need to have a big bulky device or laptop to login to the dashboard to identify contractors on site.
ID card printers can be problematic when on wifi and sometimes not print.

Overall: Easy management of visitors to our site.

Pros: the ease of checking in for returning visitors, visitors are not waiting to be checked in, we also like the fact that it prints the badges

Cons: The only issue we have found is that the scanner does not always work upon check out, so they have to then type their emails in again.

Pros: Frees up the receptionist time with not having to announce visitors. Reception does not need to be manned when visitors enter.

Cons: Every now and then it doesn't recognize a return visitor and all details need to be entered again, frustrating for the visitor.

Pros: Simple to use once installed. If your requirements are very simple and you don't have an IT department, this system can be a good solution.

Cons: It allows for no customization. From the perspective of a large organization with multiple offices, having a customization program is important. The standard design for your badge is very poor. Having to put up with a head icon because we choose not to take a picture of the visitor is unacceptable. The client should either be able to design his own badge or you should have support to modify the design to meet the needs of the client.

Overall: I learned to ask more specific questions up front and not to believe that there was really a team of techs to help support the product.

Pros: Sine is very configurable to business needs with ongoing updates to functionality. Updates to the kiosk are very simple and automatically update when saved which is a great feature. Ongoing support and live chat has been prompt and a wonderful experience overall. The Sine team have shown great interest in solving any minor bump in the road.

Cons: Some features are not yet available which causes some confusion amongst hosts. This is mainly on the iPhone app notifications only being issued when the app is open in the background.

Pros: Automatically uploading information through the API easily ensures that staff information is kept up-to-date and synchronised with other data sources (such as an LDAP Directory). The simple interface is also easy for visitors of all backgrounds to use.

Cons: It's quite limited or restricted in terms of customisation making it difficult to use as a replacement for a human receptionist. For example, adding buttons to the idle screen for walk-in visitors such as job seekers, or customising email notifications to CC a team as well as send to the host simply aren't possible.

Overall: Digitisation and better security over a traditional paper sign-in book

Pros: Customer support representative has been great to deal with help to fix a few printing issues and do a system upgrade that was required. Receiving emails when there are printing issues is a great addition to the updates that happened recently

Cons: don't really have any issues with Sine Pro, the only negative I can think of is that sometimes guests are cancelling the printing after the host name has been entered, therefore not printing a sticker

Pros: Pros to this software are that it is easy to use and has some great features to track visitors pre-organise visitor passes. The broadcast feature can be very useful, and if you are using visitor passes you can message the guest to advise that they have not returned their card.

Cons: It seems after a if you don't operate the software after a while it "times out" and you have to refresh the page before doing anything else. (this being if you are using it from a web page)

Pros: visitor setting up his profile so he doesn't have to spend ages filling in the IPAD ..
presetting up invitations for large groups attending .. and being able to sign them out with the click of a button ..

Cons: printing: had a few issues with preprinting badges .. printing out duplicates and then the next day not printing at all .. and the printer going off line regularly which means the visitor can't print a badge ..
System: going offline regularly - so that it either doesn't work when visitors arrive or it won't scan their badge as its offline ..

Support team happy to work with me through several different possible options to allow a family of siblings is entered each Saturday as quickly as possible.
Support team fast acting through text, providing helpful links I could follow.
Support team called to go through what became a more complex situation after first few solutions didn't work, and were able to talk to me without tech jargon.
Love geo fence so families can't say they have attended when they haven't.
Gave us space to work out how we could use the software without pressuring us about the invoice and interrupting our service while we did some trial and error.
Parents love it.
Fast track codes are great.
QR codes are great, parents thought were really high tech savvy when we trialed those.

Cons: I know the software is not designed to sign in multiple children who might be enrolled with one parent with one email and one mobile phone number. I get normally this would be used for an adult signing in to a location. On this basis it is great.

For our purpose, not being able to log in once and for a parent to answer questions pertaining to each of their children is an issue. One potential option was for the number of visitor types to increase, so a family could log in to their own type where their check in form is customised for their children.

Pros: I helps the visitor to contact the person immediately via e-mail without contacting them over the phone.

Cons: Some of the features are not available like to skip the person whom they want to see and automatically send them the e-mail. For example, if the visitor is for job application, it will automatically send an e-mail to HR.

Pros: That all visitors have to do an induction .That you can sign in using your phone and scan the QR code.

Cons: That you cant pull up a current visitors list on the app . I think printing it out in a real emergency is not going to be quick enough.

Overall: that all inductions are kept online .

Pros: Easy to use and notified when contractors on site. Site induction information is attached in contractor sign-in.

Cons: Contractors only put in brief description of works, doesn't include JLL forms for permits which means the contractor paper book is still required.

new scan code will be good
A scan in for regular visitors would be good

Cons: unreliable in relation to knowing I have not left the location and asking me to sign out
Staf should just sign in without having to nominate who you are seeing
Visitors should never be able to sign in without at least a phone number

Pros: Ease of checking guests in and returning users.
Running reports easily to account for guests onsite.

Cons: There is no scan option for check out, on the machine and on the ticket which prints out - Not sure if this is an extra feature.
Having two Ipad's (Sine systems) connected wirelessly to the one printer - If both machines are being checked in at the same time, only one of the badges will print out. Not sure whether this is a connectivity issue or something that Sine can rectify.

Pros: I like that the system can call mobiles if an muster is required, it has GPS functionality and will allow automatic sign out when you leave site

Cons: Would like it suited to sites and not one shoe fits all! No timeline on when changes can be made to system

Pros: As an administrator, it is very easy to track who is in and out of the office which is a big requirement for us when directing phone calls.

Cons: That the iPad and iPhone doesn't 'talk to each other' and you have to use only one or the other. It would be handy if we could sign in with one and out with the other if needed.

Pros: The app provides excellent customization and functionality with branding and workflows. It is fully capable of replacing our current written sign-in process.

Cons: Unable to send automated responses to externals emails after a user completes certain workflows. (an external email is sent to our IT team after a visitor selects "No" on a Yes/No question).
Unable to rename or remove certain boxes in the template. For example, renaming the "Next Visitor" button to "Finished".

Overall: Progressed our company beyond the current written sign-in process. Saved the company money and provided a more efficient process which is easily combined with our data systems.

Pros: I like the ease of setting up and administrating. The app and portal are simple to use. Visitors are surprised by it (like it) and both staff and visitors provide positive feedback. Staff love that they get an SMS when guests arrive and check in.

Cons: We had some issues getting the printer on our wifi, but that was not a SINE product problem. Once that was sorted out connecting to the printer was simple.

Overall: We've done away with the old messy sign in book. Instant notification that guest\visitors have arrived.

Cons: No auto tracking of printing for replenishment of labels. Software should know how many labels it is using and re-order automatically

Pros: We are now able to record who is on campus at all times, which is important under Student Protection Guidelines. Can print emergency lists and conduct audits as per requirements to monitor who has been on campus. Those that are being visited are notified by email the person has signed in - just in case the Receptionist is busy and cant call them straight away.

Cons: Would be great to have more formatting options - mainly for aesthetic purposes. This is so the WHS instructions are clearly laid out for contractors signing in.

Overall: The ability to audit who is coming on campus and how often. This means we can capture people who might not have completed the correct inductions or provided correct paperwork in regards to Contractors.

Cons: Monthly Cost. Much too high for what we are getting in return. A couple of times employee names would not come up in the directory but on the Admin site they are listed in there. I have to delete them and then add them again for it to fix it.

Pros: The system is extremely easy to set-up and use. Customers and clients have also commented how easy it is and the ability to sign in prior to arriving in the office is a great feature.

Cons: We have received a few minor complaints regarding logging out. Can a three letter recognition be implemented similar to the host field? Also, when signing in before arrival in the office, is it possible to have a badge printed prior to their arrival in the office?

Overall: We have now changed our reception from being a staffed reception desk to an unstaffed reception desk whilst still retaining a positive corporate image.

Pros: Very easy to setup and fairly intuitive. Found it to be very easy to migrate from previous contractor system with good take up.

Cons: Reporting very limited, needs more work. The system would benefit from a wireless or Bluetooth scanner so that the QR codes on keys can be scanned via the iPad.

Overall: More uptake and visibility of contractors onsite, when they sign in and out.

Pros: sign in system works well in terms of being able to register and go through health and safety briefing requirements

Cons: My understanding is that the label printer has never worked since the system was purchased and installed.
I have taken over as operations manager, but would have expected that if a new system was purchased that that their would have been some form of follow up to ensure the system had been installed correctly and was fully operational. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify this but in reality it would be easier to go back to a manual system rather than have a sign in system that is only partly operational

Pros: You have an electronic record of all your visitors and they are able to view health and safety documents when they sign in.

Cons: It is annoying when it occasionally crashes. Visitors sometimes complain that sign in takes too long the first time they sign in.

Overall: It saves having to keep paper records and it means that visitors can view the necessary health and safety documents when they sign in.

Pros: It allows our visitors to read and acknowledge digitally. The software is great for offices without a receptionist since I get an email to notify me when a visitor arrives. Provides a digital log of all visitors that meet our ISO standards.

Cons: Requires too much information when visitors sign in. checkout options need to be expanded. For example, our employees are required to check out their guests. But the only way to check out a guest is to either know the phone number they used or their email address. There should be a list of visitors in the building and I should be able to check people out like that.

Overall: Digital log and acknowledgment and notification of when visitors arrive.

Pros: That it takes a picture and then prints it off as a sticker, that it remembers your details and doesn't need to take a second photo when you are returning to a site

Cons: the amount of details you have to enter the first time you visit a sight. And that there is no group check in option

Overall: I don't have to keep a paper trail of all the guests that visit the site, now all the information is in one place and is easy to filter through :)

Pros: I love how visitors can sign in via iPad or manual through the web. I like that you can preregister groups of visitors easily in one function.

Cons: I love how many settings there are but I don't like how they are not customizable. I think there needs to be a way to customize the settings based on visitor type.

Pros: Straight forward and very easy to use. Modern and nifty. The product is fantastic when it is working.

Cons: Printing issues and connectivity with printers were a daily problem. Not so much in the last week. App does freeze 2-3 times daily and does need to be closed and relaunched.

We will contact your site administrator to ensure you've got the latest version of SinePoint Pro, and this should resolve some of the printing and other glitches you've experienced.
