Pros As someone responsible for both cybersecurity and asset management at FN Brno, I really appreciate how ALVAO Asset Management brings everything together in one secure, centralized system. It’s made tracking assets and software much easier, which is crucial for keeping our hospital safe and compliant with regulations. The ability to quickly see vulnerabilities and assign security roles helps us respond to threats faster and ensures everyone knows their responsibilities. The user interface is intuitive, so even non-IT colleagues can use it without trouble. Cons Transitioning from our old, fragmented systems to ALVAO took some work, especially making sure all our data was migrated securely. A very useful feature is the assignment of assets to specific users imported from Active Directory. Also the integration with ALVAO Service Desk works very well. Cons Using desktop and web application is sometimes a bit confusing. It can be used to manage not only IT equipment but also other things. Pros ALVAO Asset is very helpful in our company where we have over 800 computers and laptops and with ALVAO Asset, managing them and assigning them to users is extremely easy and one always has an overview. You can even do bulk actions/moves and make your work easier. We also use Asset for reports and handover logs to users when handing over and returning hardware. We also use a license management module to keep track of licenses that are about to expire. Cons You could say nothing. We have a clear overview of all assets now. Pros \- Possibility to see all assets, we can easily see everything we have, where and the ownership. - Drag and drop option for moving things between departments easily. - We can keep track of all hardware and software for example boats, servers, notebooks, phones, keys, licenses, contracts, people, places, and more. - History logs: We can see all changes made to each asset. - Easy reporting with Power BI templates to see stock, warranty ends, etc. - Overview of licenses and contracts wih expiration dates and all details. - Asest Inventory helps us to make sure we have everything in stock. - Mobile app access that can scan codes in the field without a laptop. That is great for our technicians out there. - Quick deployment and amazing customer support from Alvao's side. We were ready to use asset management within a few weeks. In addition, the records were not updated during the detection phase and as you might expect, we were not always able to update them manually. Alvao has helped us consolidate the records into one place so that we can finally really rely on the records. Pros I think it is the way it is intuitive and easy to use. Also, most of the manual work such as updating and discovering the network is fully automated, so I can be confident that the records reflect reality. Pros Great for licence management and inventory SW with available connection to MS SCCM or an autonomous ALVAO agent. Easy expansion and connection to the ALVAO ServiceDesk. Great support and regular development of this product. Cons In the case where there are more independent organisations registered, the management of the authorizations in the area of licences and attachments is being implemented gradually. Clumsy and done by someone who has never done any web design. The SQL tables and some procedures are localized in Czech language!
